I picked up a prescription today that was 75.00 . The last time I got it it was 53I called up the girl to ask why and she got very defensive with me and said no your wrong this crème is this and then said you got it?? Very sarcasticI’ll find another pharmacy for my father. Their attitude will scare away customers

The best!! The whole entire staff is awesome, especially Abby, Ahmad and Valerie. Ive called numerous times with questions they always answer them and are very patient with me.Just the other day Valerie expedited a medicine for my cat to be compounded and I had it within an hour, delivered for free. It was imperative he didnt miss his dose. She saw to it that he didnt.Ahmad found a refill from another Dr of a medication for me in the system when my other Dr kept calling the prescription in wrong and Abby has gone above and beyond for me many times. I pray I never have to move because I love this staff like family and they treat me like I am family too. They are angels, all of them and truly care about you and your families well being.

I had an awesome service there. The people were nice respectful and helpful. Had some issue with my prescription and the manager Abhi Patel solve the issue fast for me and explained everything. I recommend this place for the great service since not all managers in others store or come and help customers out.

This pharmacy is my go to pharmacy. All the employees working there are amazing and always ready to help. The Pharmacy Manager Abhi Patel is the best. He always helps me get my prescriptions filled in on time. The pharmacy is clean and tidy. This pharmacy is highly recommended.

Hello do not come here there are many more different pharmacies to go to. The customer service is horrible. They take too long to answer calls!! very uncoordinated. Very rude employees. Manager is never helpful and always seems to rush and hang up the call.

THE RUDENESS AND UNPROFESSIONALISM OVER THE PHONE WAS SO DISGUSTING. I had asked questions to the lady on the phone (I tried everything I could to understand her correctly the first time) But she insisted on being rude and unhelpful. I asked her to repeat what she said at the end of the conversation and she very clearly said “oh my god” and continued to stay silent even after I said hello to make sure it wasn’t disconnected (I heard people and things happening on the phone it was not disconnected) I also told her that I’m sorry for being a pain in the butt and have a good day and which the response ofc was nothing… silence… Its kinda serious when you have medication you have to take and u get absolutely no where and disrespected. I’m truly sad about this because I recommended this place to all my local friends because the environment in there which has been ruined today. Save urself from the hassle and just go to the CVS.

Doctor had no problem placing the oder. The price was so far less than what was shown for CVS etc. that I thought it was a mistake. I was informed that the RX would be shipped within 3 days, it was shipped the next day. I received a text that the package was out for delivery (a 3 hour window), then a text the the driver was nearing .y address. This was really extradinary service!!!!

Quite possibly the worst pharmacy to go to. I get a monthly prescription from them bc I can’t use a CVS or a regular store for my script/meds, have been using them for 3 years bc that’s where my dr sends the script. They’ve always given me issues with my orders here and there but the last 6-12 months have been unbearable with them. None of their employees, other than maybe 2-3, have the ability to perform simple tasks like processing a shipment or giving correct information. I’m so fed up with fighting with them every month, I called my doctor to change specialty pharmacies.

The customer service was beyond unacceptable, very rude and non helpful. Proceeded to ask for the manager who was also no help and who I felt was just trying to get me out his face.

My wife, Dianne, and I were customers of a very large, very popular corporate pharmacy, but for a matter of discretion, Ill only use their initials: CVS...To reach a pharmacist, it would often take at least 10 minutes, if- if- I could get through via their automated system. It kept cutting-out, and I kept getting a very unnerving number of Sorry! Every time I called back, I ran into the same road block...Recently, CVS gave me the option of updating their app, which I did. Although it loaded quickly, I was no longer a customer, just my wife, so I couldnt check on my Rxs...Their updated app indicated my wife had a Rx that was ready for pick up or delivery. The next day when I went to order it, it was no longer in the app...So, I finally reached the pharmacist who told me it was ordered on 12/25/23, but neither picked up nor delivered, so it went back into inventory, and I needed to contact Diannes doctor so he could re-prescribe. When I called the doctor, my wife needed an appointment to make the pharmacy change. That seemed odd, but thats his policy...Long-story-short, which is only said when a storys already too long, I contacted Hometown Pharmacy and in literally a matter of minutes, Mr. Mustafa (spelling) and his team had all my dilemmas resolved. I was on the phone for countless hours with anyone I could reach at (800) SHOP-CVS, and no one could help me.......And check this out, not only does Hometown Phamacy have free delivery (CVS does not), but their prices are less. One would think that a high-volume corporation would have lower prices...The bottom line is very simple. If you need a pharmacy who cares, Hometown is a must. ...And when you call them, someone will answer the phone and politely- and knowledgeably-help you...Respectfully submitted,Barry Goldberg

I had to call n try to speak with the manager due to my compound being in the pharmacy for more over than a week. And when i get the chance to talk to him, he was not very helpful saying it is still not able for me to pick it up.

All of the staff moves quickly and efficiently to assist you. They are also extremely welcoming and friendly. I spoke with a woman by the name of Myesha on the phone and she was very helpful and pleasant!

Never would I have thought to make a review about a pharmacy!, but the experience Ahmad gave was truly one of a kind. Very warm friendly and caring personality! Went above and beyong and made me feel at ease in a new place. I would totally recommend this pharmacy for your local needs

We have been using Hometown Pharmacy for all prescriptions and compounds for 18 years. We trust them completely. We have always been very happy with their service.

Really the best and most reliable pharmacy around. Used to use them when I lived in town because I always had problems at big chain pharmacies but after I moved I changed to a local cvs for convenience (it was 2 minutes down the road from me) and it has been a head ache ever since. I just switched back to hometown and it was the best decision I ever made. Thank you hometown!!!

The best regular and compounding pharmacy that I have worked with in my 30 years of practicing.

I had a prescription sent here for a pet. It needed to be compounded so my vet sent it here. He said they would call me when it was ready. They never called me so I called them. The woman who answers the phone was very rude and nasty. They had the prescription for 24 hours and still never started it. She told me it might be ready at the end of the day. I was panicked because my pet was sick and needed her medication. When I picked it up, the same woman who answered the phone was at the front desk. She was even more terrible to me in person. I tried to ask her a question about the medication. She rolled her eyes at me acted like I was waisting her time. Finally when I got the medication home and looked at it, you could see chunks of pills in the liquid that looked like they smashed one pill and threw in an ounce of juice. The pieces were all different sizes. Theres no way she could receive the same dose every time. I was afraid to give it to her, she could have been overdosed! It cost $45 to get a compounded prescription here and it wasn’t even mixed properly. This is a poor compounding pharmacy. Overpriced, rude and too lazy to properly mix up medication. Don’t go here.

I was unable to pick my prescribed medication for 2 days and to my surpriseOn day 3 it was delivered to my home without requesting delivery. In addition my cost was $0.00 True professional and thoughtful pharmacy personnel.

Highly recommend. Amazing customer service. I needed a medication refilled without a prescription. Tech made calls to on line pharmacy and to doctor to help me out. Went way above and beyond. Same day I was also looking at greeting cards and they asked if I needed help finding a card. I don’t experience assistance like this much anymore. They are a rare gem.

I have been getting my prescriptions from Hometown pharmacy for the past two years. Started off great without any problems. I don’t know what happened but the service has declined. Today was the final straw. My doctor sent in a prescription that needed to be delivered today. I called to find out if it was on its way since they closed at 4pm. First they said it was delivered , then they told me that there were 2 profiles for me and that particular medicine didn’t go out and they would deliver it Monday. I told them it needed to be delivered today and had to send my son who had to borrow a car to pick it up! This medication I absolutely needed today and they offered nothing. My son went in an told them off because without this prescription I could have needed up in the hospital. I will never go back again!

I love being able to get my medications so easily. The free delivery service makes it simple and convenient to get exactly what I need, especially when I’m not feeling well and during the colder months! The staff also makes you feel extremely comfortable, as they are not only very friendly but highly knowledgeable. Great service!

Ive been using the Hometown Pharmacy for many, many years. Everyone goes above and beyond to make sure you get the best service possible. Nancy and the team work well together and make sure you leave with what you need even if they have to call your doctors office on the spot. It can get quite messy when you have several family members who take 6-7 prescriptions each and they make it very easy to have everything filled.Thank you for your great customer service!!!!

After using Hometown Pharmacy for ten years, I have only had positive experiences. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The pharmacist are knowledgeable and go out of their way to ensure you have the medication you need . I am always impressed by their customer service. Like “Cheers”, “Everyone knows your name”. I really appreciated Mannans (in the Compounding Pharmacy) perseverance and diligence in following up w/me. I couldnt find my RX which was delivered and he tracked it and patiently called me several times trying to help me find it. I was quite upset and he remained calm and focused.

Lady at the front desk was extremely rude, gave me attitude for no reason when i was being nothing but nice and compliant. ruined my day, but the actual nurse who administered the shot saved my day. he was very friendly and we had a nice conversation. He’s the only reason i’m giving it two stars instead of 1.

Rude, slow and expensive! The girl who runs the cash register and answers the phone is nasty and rude. I called to see if a prescription was ready that was called in two days before. The nasty girl who answers the phone said they didn’t even start it yet. When I tried to ask her a question about my prescription she acted like I was bothering her. I won’t be going back here again.

Nancy and the team are beyond amazing! They always fill our prescriptions ahead of time with never an error or issue. Most of my family has switched over to them. Do not give them yours credit-card to store. I was hacked AND robbed from by the delivery service theyre use. The owners is rude and inflexible. Aferr using them for YEARS I moved to my business in June 2022. WORST SERVICE EVER.

Went to this pharmacy after going on line and a big pop up says “COVID BOOSTER ANY TIME”. When I got there at 10:40 I was unpleasantly greeted by Annie. Crack a smile lady! Rude. A lot of people go into pharmacies because they’re sick. They need a smile. Not bitterness.Then I was told shots not until 11:00. Even after the website says anytime.There were a lot of people sitting around waiting by 11:15. So shots weren’t even started until11:30. People just standing around in the waiting room getting shots. Literally standing.Then an older woman walked in and needed her prescription because she said they sent her the wrong one.It’s always nice to support small and local businesses but they need to earn peoples business too.Maybe Ann or Annie as she called herself was having a bad day but I think that’s how she is.

By far the best Pharmacy ive ever been to. They try very hard to get you the best possible price using coupons or any means necessary. Wallgreens wanted $370 for something Hometown Pharmacy got me for $35. Super friendly staff and quick service with a smile. 10/10.

I have never in my life had such an excellent experience regarding pets medication. These guys ) Hometown calls you when the medication is ready, they fill it immediately, AND they FedEx it for free. Today, when we had run out of cough medicine for my two dogs, a team member appeared at my door with the medication. I live in Vernon. They are in Bloomingdale. Perfect business.

I had to call cvs, walgreens, tabeek medical supply and finally Walmart who gave me their number. They were the only business who would take my insurance for a nebulizer for a sick child. I know who to call the first time next time I need something for my child in case. Excellent customer service with the hometown feel to the store.

I have been using Hometown for 3 years. I absolutely love them. Each staff member is friendly and polite. They get me wonderful discounts on my medications and I have a lot.

If you could only chose 1 mom and pop independent store to support- let it be your pharmacy. The entire team here is compassionate and professional and very informative and supportive. 100:1 better than anything I’ve ever had to deal with at the big box drugstore chains. For the past six or seven times the pharmacy has been messing up with my mother and not filling prescriptions or delivering them on time. It’s supposed to be auto but it’s like she has to call and pester them to do it.

My dog was sick and needed certain medications that I couldnt find anywhere else and they were able to compound a medication for me and also gave me options as far as cost. They are really awesome also not to mention I do recommend them to anyone including pts that come in looking for a great pharmacy.

I havent had any issues with them...receiving orders from my Drs & shipping it to me in a timely manner.
