Went in at 10:30 without an appointment, checked in and only waited 10-15 minutes before seeing a doctor and then only a few minutes before being helped by a nurse. Needed an ear irrigation that the nurse performed very efficiently and pain free. Checked out and the insurance had been filed that resulted in no charge to me. Everyone was friendly and the nurse tech offered tips how to prevent earwax build up. I can hear much better now.
Had many respiratory illness symptoms. I walked in 30 min after opening and was told the wait would be 1 1/2 hours. The receptionist was kind to allow me to wait at home and she would text me when it was my turn. The total wait ended up only being about 20min. The tech doing intake was thorough and polite, asking if I was ready for the nasal swab each time and offering a tissue. The PA was very kind and efficient. From a healthcare provider to another, very satisfied with my experience. Will revisit in the future if needed.
I feel like my concerns were not being heard. I knew I had COVID and voiced my concerns because of the similarity in symptoms from my experience but my request for a test through the clinic was rejected and was told to do the test at home if I wanted to check. I had to go out of my way to get my own test and do it at home instead. This is not acceptable as I waited for 2 hours in the clinic as a walk-in but wasnt provided the full services offered. In the future, please be more receptive of the patients’ concerns and provide the fullest necessary care.
Made an appointment and due to high volume was seen 45 minutes later. This wasnt a problem because like any walk-in you must be prepared for more severe walk-ins to be seen before you.I was given a great exam and the doctor has a great sense of humor which eased my anxiety. I highly recommend this place and if you make an appointment be prepared to wait an additional 30 minutes if its during Flu season.
Woke up yesterday morning with a bad sore throat and congestion. This worsened throughout the day. Last night easily made an appointment for early this morning.Check-in, was easy, Staff very friendly. and Margaret PAC, was very attentive with concern for my well being.Could not recommend a better place!!Would definitely recommend this provider!!
Very efficient and technologically current. Everything transacted on mobile device: check in, paperwork, payment. It took awhile to see a Doc, but it was Jan 1, and few other places were open, so I was grateful they were. Staff was courteous and compassionate. Rx was sent correctly and promptly. I would recommend to anyone.
Excellent and professional service from receptionist, nurse and care giver. Nurse was very informative and understanding of my concerns and that I could not hear because of the ear blockage. She made me feel very comfortable
I had so many things going on, all from a sinus infection. The wait time was a bit frustrating, but it’s the holidays and office visits are hard to schedule so I get it. The staff was very friendly and efficient. I don’t know who runs this place officially, but I know who ACTUALLY runs the place and that would be Michell. That woman is amazing! She’s mastered a balance between efficiency and exemplary bedside manner. Shout out to my girl.
I was very impressed with the care and professionalism of Baylor Scott & White Urgent Care. The doctor was very informative. And explained everything thoroughly. If you cannot see your regular PCP. This is the place to go.
My wife and I both have cruise crud - she started feeling congested the last night of our cruise and I followed a couple of days later. Our PCPs were unavailable so my wife booked us appointments online. She had some issues with the app, so she called and the staff was able to make appointments for both of us.We did the online check-in and when we arrived, we were checked in quickly. After a brief wait, we were taken back to the exam room.We were treated by Kailyn Bibbe, who listened to our description of the issues, did a brief examination and prescribed some medications.Kailyn actually listened which is unusual in the profession. She discussed options for the medication based on our experience with the options and how they would affect our other conditions. We were both very pleased with the quality of care and the level of concern. The only issue is that while the clinic has the Baylor Scott & White name, it is not integrated with their systems, so they can’t see or update our BSW chart. Hopefully, this will be addressed.Highly recommended.
Best urgent care I’ve ever been to. Every staff member was kind and the facility was incredibly clean. I was in and out in under 1.5 hours.
Nurse Michelle and Doctor Meg were great! So kind and attentive even though it was a very busy Sunday. They took the time to nake sure all our questions were answered.
Was visiting from North Carolina - brought bronchitis and upper respiratory infection with me. Was dreading the return trip via airplane due to extreme ear pain. Meg and Michel were fantastic. Offered additional guidance without asking - easiest pharmacy to get to from my daughter’s home, etc. Patiently explained meds. Everyone was friendly, outgoing, kind and extremely professional! I would highly recommend!
I am a return client to this location. I have not ever had a bad experience here. Everyone here seems very nice and willing to listen to the issues you are having. What I do suggest is to make an appointment on line or via app. It makes so much easier and will not have to wait. My appointment was at 8:20 am, arrived about 8:15 am, and they were ready to see me. The Physician who saw today was very informative, and had Great Bedside Manners. (Which I think is very important). She listened to my issues, and explained to me what was going on. She also answered all my questions very detailed. I do recommend visiting this location.
It was great experience! Front Desk person was extremely friendly and helpful!! The nurse was fantastic and helped me so much, the Doctor was knowledgeable and very helpful with diagnosis.
The staff was very nice and deserve so much praise. The PA, however, took a few seconds to look at me, made a snarky remark, walked out, and never returned. The nurse actually had to ask him if he was planning to come back and talk to me. She managed my treatment, wonderfully!
Everyone there was so genuine and they truly care about their patients! They are passionate about what they do and truly are there to help. Front desk really gave it her all to help me and Michelle was absolutely amazing! I appreciate all their hard work and definitely would recommend others to go.
School Sports Physical:Everything went very smooth and efficiently from the time that I called to make an appointment to the time that we showed up, fill out paperwork, got seen was all in a timely manner, the staff was kind and welcoming. The doctor was funny and informative which made both my son and I feel comfortable. Every staff member we encountered had a very friendly attitude that made for a welcoming atmosphere.
The receptionist was very professional and answered all my questions. Michell, The nurse, is the best of the best. The PA Megan was so friendly, explained everything to me, very knowledgeable and made me feel at ease.
Staff couldn’t be nicer but CHOOSE ANOTHER PLACE. this place is a SHAM!!Grossly understaffed, one PA no doctor EVER on site, everyone (maybe 3 people) wears multiple hats and they’re running breathlessly like they’ve just run a marathon. It’s almost criminal that BSW lets people mistake this for a real care center. Please note: my appointment was set for 1pm. It was 2:30 before I was called in. I didn’t get out until 4pm.
I was given a steroid shot, antibiotics and a steroid prescription with zero diagnostic labs or swabs for the presence of viral vs bacterial infection which felt like low quality 1980s style healthcare for my sinus pain complaint. Ive been told by my primary care doctor and my childrens pediatrician many times that antibiotics should not be prescribed if there isnt evidence of a bacterial infection and symptoms could be viral in nature. That is why, when Ive taken my children to the pediatrician they usually test for bacterial and viral infection before recommending to start antibiotics. But, I felt miserable so I actually took what was prescribed and hoped it worked. The next day I developed a rash on my face around my nose and mouth and called this BSW Urgent Care to see if I should discontinue the medication. I was told there is a new and different provider there at the moment so I would have to come in and see that person all over again, for another $50 copay, for what is probably a side effect of the medication I was given the day before. I think this is terrible customer service and even worse healthcare. I loved it when it was PrimaCare. I didnt have to go often, only when really sick, but they actually called you the next day to see how youre doing and ask if youve had any new concerns or side effects. That seems like it should be the standard for something that feels sick enough to be Urgent Care and for treatment from someone other than your usual primary care doctor. The first sick visit available with my regular BSW primary care doctor or his PA was not until December 31, which is ridiculous too, so I figured this Urgent Care was my only option. Ill never go back to this place again. Most of the good reviews you see are from prior management or owners. Now that BSW is running it, it is terrible.
The PA here, Meg, is the best there is. She is knowledgeable and kind! She listens to everything you are feeling. I really love having access to someone like Meg!
Great experience! Doctor and staff were extremely nice and professional. If I ever need to see a doctor again, I will definitely come here again! Highly recommend!
Rhiannon, Meg, and Michell were awesome. Service was quick and friendly, and all providers were attentive. Thanks for getting me taken care of.
The location is great and the staff was amazing! Took their time w me and seemed caring. The only complaint— and is a huge reason I even came here — is the Baylor Scott and White connection. The sign outside the door, which got me in it, says it’s a BSW location. Once checking in, I find out they have NO access to my BSW records nor would my visit flow to my BSW records. I would have absolutely not have come here if I’d known that. I was told the merge happened 6 months ago and yet I see there no movement on integrating systems. Disappointing for sure.
Dealing with sciatic pain for 6 days, made appointment this morning and was in and out with meds in less than an hour. Very kind and supportive staff, would definitely recommend!
Great experience and help. Everything was exceptional from the receptionist, nurse and especially the Doctor. I was in and out quickly and got the care I needed.
Office and medical staff both top notch. I’m in healthcare and have low expectations, but they were all around professional and very knowledgeable- all around a better urgent care experience than I’ve had before.Excellent NPs and PAs, but I’m sure it is facility dependent. Highly recommend if they keep it up here.
Been client since it was PRIMA Care, and continue going there for clinical needs bc the people are professional and efficient—always. And I leave with a written document of my assessment, treatment and meds prescribed. All businesses should be this good. EW
Typical 20 day winter cold flu, these guys got me in quickly and i was a walk in!!!!! Did the normal checks , visited with me on symptoms and got everything I needed to get well !!! Thank you BSAnd W on Mockingbird These people are professional and durn good!!! Thanks!! Dbb12/15/3024
Quick service and wonderful staff. I hope everyone gets the pleasure of being taken care of by Michell. So informative, kind, and fun. The most pleasant urgent care experience i’ve ever had!
Always as good of an experience as can be expected when you are sick. Saw PA Tony today and he was absolutely amazing. The nurses were great as well.Thank you!
Everyone was really kind and patient. They took their time explaining everything and I never felt rushed or anything even though I was there past their closing time. Everyone there made a bad day a lot better.
On my recent visit I did not wait long and when I was seen my issue was addressed in a professional manner. I have been to the clinic a few times in the past and always had a positive experience.
I recommend this urgent care clinic,, the staff was amazing! And I thank the doctor for being so compassionate and dedicated! Doctor who truly cares about her patients!
Went to this urgent care because I have an existing relationship with BS&W and liked I could make an appointment ahead of time. What is alarming is the PA tried to prescribe a medicine with amoxicillin after I told the them (and it was in the chart) Im allergic to it. Luckily cvs caught it and called while I was still there to get a different prescription. The new prescription he wrote can react to something else I have to take and create irregular heart beats which CVS also caught. The people who work there are nice and it was clean but I went to urgent care to get better from a bad cold and cough but feel like I could have gotten worse had the pharmacist not caught it.
Made appointment online and showed up on time. I was the only person waiting, but I didn’t get seen until 30-45 mins after my appointment time. And I had already filled out paperwork online. Total time in clinic was about 1 hour and 45 minutes. If they are short on staff, they should notify patients or not accept/book as many appointments. This is exactly why I very much dislike going to clinics!
Made an appointment for sciatica pain. Promptly seen by a nurse practitioner and had x-rays taken to help with diagnosis. Mostly good experience.
Great front office staff and great care. Waiting was longer than usual, but worth The wait.
Great experience. Front desk person was very polite and professional. My entire visit was great.
The staff was so helpful and nice and got me in quickly to be seen! I was told about all of my payment options and felt very at rest being a patient there. I would defiantly go back should I need to in the future!
Waited over 2 hours after my scheduled appointment time before being discharged. All that was done was vitals, asked a few questions. Took 1.5 hours for someone to come in for a blood draw and another 30 to print paperwork.Extremely slow..
The nurse was incredibly kind, the doctor saw me for about 30 seconds total, and was one of 3 people in a waiting room and didn’t get brought back for an hour after my scheduled appointment time. After being brought back, waited another hour only to have the doctor diagnose me in 20s (which to be fair would be amazing if i hadn’t waited all that time). The nurse at the end made me feel better about it, but definitely look at other places if you are in a rush
Everyone was friendly, and I was seen within the hour, which was a pleasant surprise since I was a walk-in (there were no appointments online).
My daughter came back from a 3 wk vacation with a double pink eye infection. Her PCPs office is closed on weekends and I did not want to do the EMERGENCY ROOM wait at children’s or any hospital at that. So I searched for an urgent care that accepted her insurance and Next Care was so fast to answer the phone and all my questions. This is the most convenient emergency we had ever experienced! Such a beautiful set of staff. The front desk lady at check (I wish I got her name) was so sweet and polite. Definitely will be going back to this location for any future emergencies I have with my kiddos!
Excellent experience! Upon arrival was greeted by a friendly front desk associate. I was seen with minimal wait and very pleased with provider.
Everyone was very nice and friendly. Great location and clean. After I booked an appointment and checked in once we arrived it still took 20 minutes to get to a room and another 30 before seeing the doctor. Will probably try somewhere else next time.
The PA was excellent in all respects. The whole NextCare experience was very positive. I was from out of town & had low expectations. The professionalism & care I received was better than I hoped for. The whole staff performed in an exemptlatory manner. The PAs thoroughness was equal the care I receive from my personal Primary Care doctor of 20 years.
I’m so thankful for places like Nextcare which are open on weekends da and so easy to get an appointment. I visited on a Sunday morning with something that couldn’t wait until a visit with my PCP. I was able to sign in on-line and go at my appointment time.Nice people greeted me and Dr was able to quickly diagnose and treat me. He explained everything well and sent my RX to the pharmacy quickly. Overall a great land productive visit.
All I can say is wow. The team is professional, fast and efficient. Listened to my needs and even though I had to get shots in the buttock, it all worked out.
My husband has previously been to this office before. But the treatment was WAY different. The tech in the beginning was not nice, she questioned why my husband and I didnt get seen together. Why does it matter? Im paying big bucks here without an issue. Then we checked in my son & she was like “you’re making it hard to get your pressure” mind you, my child is 5. Hes so shy he wasnt even moving. How is HE making it hard? the front desk girl seemed to have mixed emotions. She charged my sons visit… when the nurse practitioner told us we were NOT getting charged. Because we were there less than 24hrs prior. Idk why she didnt ask us to charge my card. One moment she was nice another moment she was less friendly and even kinda rude. There was roaches in the room we were in….We never have a problem with the actual nurse that sees us, hes always straight forward and friendly.Previously there was an african american tech that was AMAZING! A front girl she was Caucasian, WONDERFUL!I would think twice to come here again.
Great staff they explained everything and provided plans as well. Loved the services they provided .
I arrived just after 8 and was out just after 9. The desk clerk, assistant who took my vitals and doctor were polite and helpful. Doc clearly explained illness and treatment
My mom has had to go here twice and we have had a great experience each timeCompassionate staff
I’ve never had a visit before where it almost feels like a family member is caring after you. The wait was faster than I anticipated, by far. Check in with as so easy. Nurse M. really interacted with me and made me feel like she really cares. I was overwhelmed with my symptoms in a new city, by myself, homesick and she made my day. The physician was so kind and patient as well and addressed every symptom while clearly explaining further about treatment and after care. Thank you! Highly recommend!!
The staff is friendly and they get you checked in quickly. However, it took over an hour for the doctor to get in to see me. The facility also needs a facelift. There’s paint peeling, The doors are banged up. The walls need fresh paint. It feels very rundown.
I am pleased to recommend to ya’ll the Drs, NP and the Assistants, plus the smiling faces, kind and prompt, Receptionists from this location. I choose myself as a “ Primary care Dr”, Dr Silva who is extremely knowledgeable of every symptom of the patients’s illnesses complaints ! Very professional yet, very attentive to your needs to help you healing fast!!! May God bless them all and please- go there if you are sick- no wait, no appointments, no rejection of any kind!!! 🙏🏻❤️Margareta Fratila, patient
Not sure what is the point of giving patients the option to choose an appointment when you are not timely with the appointment, especially if it is extremely slow. There was one person ahead of me that ended up paying his copay and leaving because of the wait. I had a 2:00 appointment to get to, but I never in life would have thought with a 12:30 appointment that I would be sitting there 40 minutes without seeing the NP or PA. The front desk woman was super nice though and apologetic.
Staff was professional and fun. I totally felt at ease and my condition was evaluated efficiently.
Lobby was very warm and I had an appointment at 5:20 pm and was called to go in the back 61 minutes later. The wait was not long at allOnce I was in a room. Everyone is nice and professional. I just not sure what the delay was about. It wasn’t that busy.
Very good experience. Nurse Practitioner knew exactly what to do to help me recover from bronchitis.
Efficient, professional and caring with phenomenal expertise. So appreciate these characteristics that were exhibited by all staff, especially Michelle.
Friendly place but nasty and only one provider on duty at a time, even when theyre packed. New to Dallas, dont have regular doctor yet. First visited in mid-Dec for first time. Online scheduling said all appointments were full but walk ins welcome. Staff was friendly. Place was not very busy when I arrived. Didnt have to wait long. I was shocked that there are NO sinks in the exam rooms and NO SINK IN THE BATHRROOM where they have you give a specimen sample. GROSS!! I had to gather my belongings, hold the OPEN specimen cup, AND try to get out of the bathroom before I could even wash my hands. Only sink is in the hallway. Second visit was Christmas Eve to get tested due to Covid exposure. Again, no appointments available; waiting room was nearly full and everyone there was getting tested. No one was being asked to wait in cars nor being put into rooms if symptomatic. I used the waiting room restroom, which does have a sink that was filthy. Texted my kids that if I wasnt positive already, I would be by time I left. Test came back within 48 hours as negative. The following Wed., I developed symptoms. Went back on New Years Day for another Covid test. AGAIN, no online appts available. Told receptionist I was symptomatic. Didnt phase her. I told her I would wait in my car (waiting room was full again), which I did for an hour before needing to use the restroom. It was locked; they opened it for me. Sink was STILL dirty in the same places; toilet also looked like it hadnt been cleaned in some time. I had to carefully clean the rim before I would dare use it. Got tested for Covid and strep: strep was negative but I still, 4 days later do not have the Covid results. How is it that I got the results faster over Xmas holiday than after New Years?? Makes no sense! Also, they WILL NOT answer their phone. The receptionist even admitted they wont to another patient who complained about it when I was in on NYD. I called the national customer service number, and all circuits are busy. I will definitely be finding another provider to use because my experience with this place has been so stressful.
My son was seen for cough fever and sore throat. He still has a cough and sore throat. He was not given any meds at all. He needs cough meds and something for sore throat.
I think the front desk staff was probably having a bad day, but I also think that the new standard of greeting you with how much you owe successfully communicates the priority of the facility. I felt a bit like I was being scolded just for showing up. After ruling out strep, I was prescribed cough medicine and out the door. That took 1 hour and fifteen minutes. Just not a great visit overall… But the nurse was very friendly and efficient and seemed to actually care so that’s something.
Excellent care beginning with the courteous receptionist, attentive, caring and thorough nurse and PA, Meg.
I was visiting Dallas and needed to get checked for a respiratory issue. Every location I tried did not accept Medicare!I am profoundly grateful for the immediate and professional care I received. Everyone was so polite and compassionate ❤️Highly recommend this clinic for urgent care.
I was in and out pretty quick and the doctor listen to everything I said in detail and explained everythings well
Always the best staff and readiness. You are great w kids. Really liked Dr. MEG
This location is amazing fast as long as you hold a spot online. The nurse who did my vitals was amazing! I didnt get her name but she was amazing! Staff was very polite and professional. Doctor was also very helpful and listened to my concerns. Way way way waaaaaay better then care now thats for sure!!!!
Edit: My review was for the old Primacare that was here: I would not recommend them for ANYTHING based on my recent experience there and the lack of good advice for my situation. I wont go into personal details but I learned more from coworkers two days after the fact who had dealt with the issue I ended up having and which was not caught by Primacare /NextCare whatever they are currently called. The advice, or horrible lack thereof is in retrospect appalling to me. I would drive right on by to somewhere else preferably your own doctor. I will never go back here thats for sure and regret going. For perspective I have been to this location many times throughout the years and in the past had gotten good treatments. However it had been several years since I visited before this most recent visit.
I came as a walk in for a wrist sprain, and there was about a 10 minute wait. They are fast and convenient . The whole appointment took about 45 minutes including getting xrays. Michell helped us in the back and was extremely nice. I would most definitely refer anyone to this clinic.
The staff was wonderful and very patient I love it the doctor spoked to my daughter and explained all meds to us both she looked at him so intently which was so cute the back staff Danielle and other medical assistant along with the patience of the secretary was amazing great place to go.
I was in a lot of pain today. I was grateful that the staff and NP were quick, efficient, knowledgeable, and kind. I will say, I am still disappointed that this location has not been updated since it was taken over by a new company. While I return to this clinic for the excellent service, I would love to see it renovated the next time I need to return for care.
Use of the facility was required because I was visiting from out of state. An excellent experience. I was fortunate to not have to wait long. The staff—receptionist, nurse, and doctor—were all courteous and professional. The doctor took my symptoms seriously and treated me promptly. A kind and upbeat gentleman. The facility was very clean and neat, which made for a good first impression. I would definitely go there again should the need ever arise.
After realizing a rash seemed to be more than just an allergic reaction to something, I went to the center on Greenville on a Saturday morning. Everybody was fantastic - from the front desk to the medical provider. Turns out I have shingles on my face and was given a script to help, but was also told to see an ophthalmologist ASAP because the blisters are so close to my eyes. He also suggested how to get to one on a Saturday afternoon when all offices are closed. Great Care!!!!
Walk-in, took a few minutes more. Staff was dependably friendly and reliable. Had a cold, respiratory infection, they took good care of me.
The great caring staff and FNP makes an unpleasant experience more tolerable.
Very professionally, attended to my needs immediately. Gave appropriate discharge instructions for home. Would definitely go back!
I was here last in 2019, and it’s gotten lots better! if you can i recommend doing all paperwork ahead of time so you don’t have to wait too long, but the nursing staff is top tier! my nurse was kind, understanding, and helped me feel comfortable the whole visit. i only wish the doctor had a little more time to talk, but it is what it is.
Call ahead. Even if you book an appointment they will also be working on the walk ins to keep them clear and you may not be seen at your appointed time. CALL AHEAD TO CONFIRM THEY ARE ON TIME. DONT TRUST THE APP.Now waiting 2 hours past my 1:20 pm appointment.
I had a wonderful experience! Linda was a very nice front desk person. Michell in the back was soooo helpful! I was treated very well!
I was seen quickly and treated with care and respect. The doctor was terrific and immediately followed up with prescriptions for me. This is where I always choose to go when needed.
We filled out the forms online. When we arrived at the office we were checked in immediately and placed in an examination room. They took our vitals and the doctor was in within a matter of minutes to see us. We were diagnosed and prescriptions were sent to our pharmacy. The whole process took less than 30 minutes. Great staff and excellent Doctor.
Quickly seen, staff is friendly and super professional. I’ve been a few times now and they’re great. The doc has a kind demeanor and listens well. If you’ve got to come to an urgent care center, this is where I’d go.
Appreciate professionalism of the staff. All very welcoming.
Yesterday, I went to nextcare urgent care at the corner of Abrams Road and Mockingbird in North Central Dallas I went because I had what to me appeared to be an ingrown toenail, which had become infected and red. I wanted The area opened up and the past drained out, but the doctor refused to do anything but refer me to some other medical facility and gave me a prescription For a cream and also an antibiotic pill.It is now Saturday mid morning to tow looks And I suspect that I will now have to wait until I can see a podiatrist which will be the middle of next week. My foot could become infected.Needless to say, I was disappointed with the lack of caring medical attention for this what I thought might be a relatively minor problem.. And on top of all it cost me 30 bucks plus the medication’s another 20, and I’m in better shape now than I was a day ago. When I go to see a doctor, I expect the doctor to do something!Made by Richard Kurth
Staff, nurses, and doctors are great and very knowledgeable. We’ve returned to this location because we continue to get great service. One thing that is concerning is the first impression the location would bring to new patients. This location has noticeable items that need to be replaced. Broken cabinets and outdated equipment among some.
Amazing urgent care , they’re very respectful you get in and out fast and they listen to you
Nurse Michelle is the best! My son and I have both been seen at NextCare; we received excellent care. Nurse Michelle took the time to make both of us feel heard and supported. Each step of the check up was explained and not hurried. My son was apprehensive about his blood drawn and Nurse Michelle took the time to ease all worries and hesitation. I highly recommend NextCare for your non emergency medical needs.
Be prepared to WAIT 1.5 hours when I came as a walk in… no signs of getting checked. Asked front desk they said likely will be another half hour. Scheduled an appointment for the next day. Still waiting.Front desk ladies are super rude and cold. No sense of care or warmth. First impressions are important!
I visited the clinic on 10/10/22 and had a good experience. The office was clean and tidy. The check in process was administered via and app. I liked being able to wait in the car and receive a text message when it was time to be called back. I will note the wait time and queue in line was incorrect on the app. While everything went well, my nurse Michell was exceptional! She worked quickly and efficiently and as asking you questions she was very kind and gentle. She had clear directions on what she was doing to give you verbal cues as well as direct and clear next steps to move to the next room or for your medications. She seemed to be the one doing all the work in the office as she buzzed around! She was just super and impressive for how great her service and care was in my short interactions with her.
So thorough and helpful. I was in bad shape and they really listened and gave wonderful treatment. In less than 24 yours I was so much better. Highly recommend.
Operator Ms. Mary was very polite and helpful, she got us an appointment within 30 minutes of our call time at the location closest to us. Staff was friendly, helpful, got us in and out within our appointment time. Place was clean, neat and organized. They got us what we needed within minutes of the end of the appointment. Love it !! Definitely recommend
This clinic has always been quick and helpful. I’ve spent the last 2 days being put through hell with multiple MD Live doctors who clearly knew I had a sinus infection but refused to give me any medication even as my symptoms were rapidly getting worse. I finally mustered up enough energy to drive to the urgent care clinic and I’m so glad I did. They listened to me and didn’t second guess my honesty about being very sick. I got a shot and prescriptions that I really needed the whole time and felt so thankful that they were treating me as real doctors would do, not reading me a script and telling me to drink water and rest. Great place - highly recommend!
We made an appointment and arrived at 1:30pm and it is now 4 pm; we have seen the nurse and doctor who rushed in and out quickly; and are letting us wait again! It is infuriating. For a simple problem. They are understaffed and apparently not well organized. They do not show any compassion or concern for your time. Don’t come here!
Great clinic. Had to come in for some urgent tests very late in the day. They took care of me.Everyone is very friendly. Professional. They make sure you feel comfortable.Thank you!!!!
I had a small little freak, accident that injured my knee. Very painful. Unable to extend my leg. Wasn’t sure if it was broken. Doctors assistant Michelle was so amazing, kind and just lovely bedside manners. The nurse practitioner on staff to very gentle. Thank you.I’m waiting for results. Once the radiologist read the x-ray. Very pleased with the care.
I went in with extreme abdominal pain, filled out all the paperwork and sat for about 20 min double over in pain, then I was told that the doctor LEFT. They left. And there was no one else in the building to help me according to the lady at the front. I left bawling my eyes out from the pain. My dad then tried to call, and he waited over 10 minutes and no one picked up the phone. This is not the first time this type of stuff has happened.
I had an appointment at 9:40am and they took me back at 9:47, pretty good! I saw Michelle for weight, temperature and blood pressure. She asked me what boy symptoms were today? After.recording everything in her tablet, we went to see the Nurse Practitioner, Keisha. Keisha came in the room in less than 5 minutes and examined me. She told me her prognosis and then recommended some medications. She left the room to write the discharge orders and prescriptions. Keisha was back in 5 minutes and I was out the door in 30 minutes from my scheduled appointment. EXCELLENT!
The doctor at this place did not even know the possible side effects of a common drug like lisinopril. I had an allergic reaction a day after starting this medication and was having severe abdominal pain and diarrhea (a listed potential side effect of this drug). I went in and explained the situation (having already informed myself of the side effects). He insisted this could not possibly be caused by the lisinopril and said I had a stomach bug, then prescribed me amoxicillin and an antacid. I ended up going to the emergency room later that day where a CT scan showed I had angioedema, which was caused by my allergic reaction to lisinopril. The ER doctor said even though it is rare that it is a KNOWN side effect. I would hope this doctor learns more about possible side effects of common medications for the sake of future patients. Amoxicillin and an antacid is not what I needed to treat edema.

I scheduled my appointment soon after spending all night running a fever. I was able to get in very quickly. The front desk and the doctor were very polite. I would definitely would recommend this place for any urgent matters!
“Doctor” that came in was very unprofessional, didn’t introduce himself or verify my identity, made us wait a long time but was very hasty with explaining medications and such. Also left the room with an irritated disposition shaking his head like we were an inconvenience. Absolutely bewildering and unacceptable.
Went in with eye irritation. Had an appointment, system was down so long wait. However, staff were extremely friendly and kind and the doctor was great and very efficient. Got exactly what we needed with little hassle. Would absolutely go back!!
The staff here is incredibly kind, helpful and understanding. Nadia at the front desk and michell, my nurse, we’re particularly kind and helpful. I don’t feel like a number like I do at other urgent care facilities. I do believe that they are under staffed and under resourced but doing the absolute best that they can. I did have to wait about two hours with an appointment.
NextCare Urgent Care in Lakewood is my go-to for minor medical issues. The staff is helpful and friendly.I particularly like Michell; she is knowledgeable, caring and effective. I feel as though I am in good and caring hands.
Everyone was very nice and respectful. They diagnosed me and got me taken care of.
Next Care Urgent Care has upped their game. Such a great experience. Dr Brozach listened to my concerns and took great care of me. Will be back
I was seen very fast and the doctor took his time to explain my diagnosis/treatment.
The online scheduling and medical info input was super easy! When I arrived, the reception staff was efficient and kind. I didnt have to wait long at all and once seen by the doctor it was the same - kind, efficient and easy. I definitely recommend NextCare Urgent Care when you dont have time to wait weeks to see your Primary Doc or specialist doc. And they took my insurance so it was less than half the price as being seen by my Allergy specialist! Thank you, Dr. Lakisha and Lakewood NextCare (formerly prima care)!
Ms Michelle, was the best. I appreciate the PA that saw me,she knew that I was in pain and she took very good care of me. Thank you!
I love this location. The staff is more helpful than my PCP in most instances. I prefer going here because I feel the providers actually take the time to listen to me and really figure out the problem. I also appreciate that they don’t over-prescribe like some Urgent Care facilities. They listen carefully to my symptoms and I feel like I truly have an advocate for my health and well being. I have seen 3 different providers here (in the last 12 months) and have had nothing but absolutely wonderful care by each of them. Their support staff, both medical and front desk are also very kind and helpful. I do however, have an issue with the long wait times(even when you use the book ahead service online). It seems Sunday’s are their busiest day(based on the many time I’ve visited over the past 15 or so years) and they are continuously understaffed. The providers do their best to keep up and are incredibly skilled and efficient, but they can only do so much with so many people needing care. That is my only issue with this location. To conclude, I highly recommend this location if you are needing thorough care and a thoughtful diagnosis. It may take you a while but you are in good hands.
The doctor was rather inconsiderate, hasty and unprofessional. He spoke poorly of the other doctor who had really helped me and scolded me for something without reason. He hurried through the procedure and didnt seem to know what kind of after advice to give me. His name was Mark.
Been going here for years and have always had the best experience - they even saved my life when I had a kidney stone and went septic.
Called the day before and completed all paperwork on line wife had a 9:40 appointment. Wife was at the clinic for three hours. Had to sit in lobby and have walk ins go before her..Nurse argued with her that she didn’t have an appointment but finally a Hispanic lady at front desk said that she did actually have an appointment. Nurse that took the ex ray was rude. We have never had such a horrible experience but this place is under new management. We will not come again. This is not the same place your better off in emergency room.
Brought my son here for an injury during football practice able to get X ray and radiologist report, and referral to an ortho within a couple hours of calling. Our other urgent care we usually go to didn’t have an XRay staff that day. Staff was friendly and helpful. Check in was easy. Will come back again.
Made an appointment yesterday for usual unknown allergy? Cold? Bronchitis? Waited only about 15 minutes before seeing the nurse practitioner. He diagnosed as bronchitis and gave me three kinds of medicine and an allergy shot. Appears to be clearing up. I have used this clinic several times and find them a very good alternative when it is impossible to get an appointment with my usual GP. Have recommended them to several other people.
I cant say enough great things. Im in Dallas for a conference and had a rather unpleasant neck issue. I Ubered to 5 places before I had the good fortune of finding Next Care. No one else could address my problem. The staff members I dealt with were wonderful. Linda, Michell, and Sylvian were friendly and very professional. Highly recommended.
The office staff was friendly and I was seen in a reasonable amount of time. The best part was my interaction with Dr. Whittaker. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. I asked a lot of annoying questions lol but she remained patient with me and was able to explain everything to me in a way I could understand. I would absolutely recommend this urgent care.
I got in quickly and easily. Ive been there a few times and the staff is always friendly and efficient. The waiting room is always clean and comfortable. They seem to really care about me. They perform the appropriate tests to make sure that I get the best treatment, and they call to follow up and make sure that Im feeling better. Megan, the nurse practitioner, rocks! I love the make appointment online and check in online option. You can check in and wait in the comfort of your own home until its your appointment time. And you can check the list and see how many people are ahead of you.
Staff was professional, efficient, kind and caring. Michelle made us feel welcome and was very personable. Alerted us to the wait time and brought us snacks and water. FNP Sylvain listened to our concerns and accommodated our requests. If Corporate is reading, please replace your sign! I drove all over looking for NextCare. The building says Primacare. You cant see the small banner if youre going north on Abrams. And you cant see it either way on Mockingbird until youve passed it! While the care was excellent and obviously the most important, the interior could use some updating!
Staff pleasant, treatment appropriate, but not the best experience Ive had there. Even though I made an appointment, I waited nearly an hour to be seen for a few quick seconds. Then another half hour wait for a two-minute test. I was there two hours for maybe 8 mins of treatment, and until I asked, no one gave any information about what I was waiting for. The system allowed too many appointments for available resources.
Open on Memorial Day! Easy process to get appointment online and very friendly efficient staff. Highly recommend this office .
Urgent care was needed when I was injured in an event not my fault and not an accident. The Lakewood facility was thorough with my care, fitting with orthopedic device and crutches and creating the report enabling home care doctor to refer me to specialist.
Thanks to the People what the work there Thanks to Ms mitchell for attendez my husband good bless everyone
This is my go-to place when I get sick on weekends. Everybody there is professional and nice
Took forever no urgency for an urgent care. Took 2 hours for a doctor to come in look st my ear i was irate. Drugs he gave me vlukd be better
They were very friendly. I was having a hard time breathing and they helped me with that. I started having a anxiety issue being in the small room so they allowed me to go to lobby while I waited. I will recommend them
This urgent care just recently got a rebrand and I cannot explain how disappointed I am with it.I came in early on a Saturday due to abdominal pain. The physician, Dr. Silva, spent, quite literally, less than 90 seconds with me. He never once asked me any question about my own symptoms. He read the triage note from the medical assistant and assumed he knew enough to discharge me. He didn’t ask about my history. He never laid one hand on me to palpate my abdomen. He did no assessment at all.I was visibly upset and when I told him I disagreed with his diagnosis, he didn’t attempt to assess me then.I reached out to the company with my complaint and they never reached back out to me. I wasted a copay and you really shouldn’t. Go to CareNow and maybe the providers there will actually pay attention to you.
My experience was great, Mrs Michell provided my daughter with excellent care. I will be returning for my urgent medical needs.
I received no examination or treatment, but was billed. I came in with severe abdominal pain. I was sent to a patient room and a nurse practitioner came in, asked me where I felt pain, then said, If youre in this much pain, you need to go to an ER. She didnt take any vitals, didnt do any physical or verbal exams, and left. She was in and out in less than 60 seconds. I will billed at a code 99203. This code requires three components, one of which is a Detailed examination of 7 body systems, which was never performed. Billing me for providing zero care is purely a money grab. Not at all surprising, but a shame nonetheless. I contacted their patient liaison per their recommendation and never received a response. Its unethical businesses like these that make us rightfully doubt our healthcare system.
We really love this clinic, Michell (back staff) was really great with my son, I love that she, tried to make him feel at home with a few laughs, the service was great and fast, Thank you Michell and Dr. Mark for your patience, time and suggestions.
Im so grateful for my angels Michell, Lou, Jodie, and Dr. Silva, who stayed late last night to X-ray, diagnose and treat my fractured kneecap! After struggling in and out of our van at another clinic that wouldnt take my insurance, Michell was locking the door to close when we pulled up. She immediately got a wheelchair and was so very helpful and accommodating. Im sure they all wanted to go home after a long days work. But everyone stayed to make sure I was treated and comfortable. I cannot say enough to show my appreciation for this staff who went above and beyond!
I came into this location without an appointment for an urgent issue and was seen quickly. Michell was quick to get me into a room and do diagnostics and Dr Silva took care of my issue quickly. I was in and out in less than an hour. The entire staff was sensitive and kind. Definitely my go-to for urgent medical needs!
POOR MANAGEMENT. They constantly tell patients with appointments that they will have a 30-45 min wait when the previous patients waited upwards to 1:30-2hrs. The lack of planning with appointments is the reason why people would rather be sick at home. Do NOT come here if you would like to be seen in reasonable time. All the while, you can hear the medical staff cackling in the back. If they are congregating, who is seeing patients?
I’ve been to this Lakewood location before and was pleased, so it is my “go-to” if I need to get in to see a Dr right away. The gal at the front was very friendly and when I inquired about the wait (they told me when I got there that they were running behind) she offered to text me when they were ready for me if I wanted to leave. The nurse, Michelle, is fabulous! She gets you checked in and ready to see the doctor quickly and she’s so sweet. I got to see the nurse practitioner today and she was an absolute sweetheart! I was loving the all female crew. After testing negative for Covid, the NP even offered to test me for strep just to cover our bases. While I’m still feeling under the weather, this trip to the Dr was as good a trip as you could hope for. Thank you to the PrimaCare team!!
I was desperate for help with a cold and mostly a stopped up ear. Easy to make an appointment for tomorrow and easy to change it to today. I arrived early and checked in with insurance and it was was super easy. Then I saw nurse Michell...she was awesome! She took great care of me. Dr. Nguyen also was great. Considering I felt awful at 5:30 and was dancing out of the clinic an hour later...this all says how great the staff is. The copay was $45 more than my PCP, who is farther away and so much harder to schedule...totally worth it. So very happy!
I made an appointment the day before. When I got there I still waited 2 hours in the waiting room before I was taken back. I guess I don’t understand the purpose of an appointment. Once I was in the room everything moved along quickly. The woman taking vitals was less than enthusiastic (as well as the receptionist)... the best part about my visit was the nurse who gave me a shot. She was the only one who seemed to actually enjoy her job! Needless to say I got what I needed after a long wait. Maybe work on customer service and patient care. Being happy and enthusiastic goes a long way!
———————7-06Update! After 5 more calls made, finally I was able to get a hold of a nurse practitioner. I explained him the situation as best as possible( I am no doctor) and he acted really rude and I was supposed to know what was happening not asking even for her info to check on the report made of the consultation or nothing. Basically just based on the info I was giving, which again, I am not a doctor!. He end up saying she could go again to be rechecked or just go to her primary care physician like we have money to be spending everyday in doctors visitations!Honestly I just feel really frustrated and don’t think this clinic gives a good service in regards of respond or at least listening to their patients.————————————-7-04-22- 07-05My mother went yesterday for consultation and they saw her pretty quick. However, today she called me saying she still experiencing the same symptoms and she is afraid medicine is not working.I called worried to ask if this normal.First, they took forever to respond. Then, the lady who answered said the doctor was seeing other patient and he was going to call me back. I waited until 7:30 when I called again (because by this time I found out they close at 8pm) they took again about 15 -18 min to answer the call and then the guy who answered my call was talking like he was half sleep acting like he was doing a favor. After he took the info he explained someone was supposed to call me. I asked him again before hanging: someone is going to call me TODAY? He say yes they will. It’s 10pm and, of course I am not longer waiting for someone to get in touch with me. Is extremely disrespectful to say that someone was supposed to call and have us waiting on the call when my mother could’ve gone to another physician since she still feeling as bad. Now is too late to find anything open and the emergency room takes forever and is really expensive.I would suggest to have a better answering call system or just don’t promise what can’t be done. I would’ve be fine with them telling me, we’ll call you tomorrow morning. But is really frustrating be waiting on the response of a physician.
This was an awful urgent care experience. I’ve been twice this week and the first time was long but reasonable. I have now been sitting here for 4 hours (after being told a 1.5 hour wait) in massive amounts of pain. I was told I was next only to watch the next patient move in front of me. But don’t worry! I was told I’m next - the room is empty BTW. I’ve already seen everyone else come and go. I would rather drive to another county then come back to this urgent care
Do not waste your time here. I made an appointment for 1020 and even with no one in the waiting room, I wasn’t seen until 1110. The nurse practitioner is absolutely inadequate. I am a registered nurse myself, and it was clear he had no clue what he was doing.
I had the pleasure if being served by Linda for check-in and Michell, the consumate, professional nurse. Then I was passed along to FNP Tientcheu. I had a recurrence of epididymitis. He was hurried and did not ask a bout my level of pain and told me he was going to run a test. I had told him emphatically on my prior visit with him this was not necessary. Next he said he would order an antibiotic injection. Fortunately he eventually realized I was listed as clearly allergic to the medication. I finally asked what he was giving me for pain and inflammation and he ordered a steroid shot. He. And back and said I have scratched out one of the antibiotic medications. When I got to the pharmacy and paid, I found the eliminated medicine was still ordered. I have no confidence in this provider. He is rushed, does not follow standard patient interview protocols, and doesnt listen to the patient,as well as having no attention to detail.
This was the best urgent care experience I have ever had. After I was referred to here by a doctor at CVS I honestly thought it was just going to be a typical care experience. I visited the urgent care at around 6 and it was towards the end of the day. Though I knew everyone might have been tired I was well taken care of by Michell Lou who did the initial check up. I told her about my recurring sore throat symptoms and she gave me a few helpful suggestions. The RN, Lakisha Whitaker did my diagnosis almost immediately afterwards. Jodie and Lana helped me with some paperwork. Everyone in that office was extremely kind to where I have to write a review. I will definitely recommend this clinic to anyone in the area.
The PA was awesome! He took his time with my husbands complaints and was very detailed explaining to us what was going on. We did wait a long time and we were the first ones there. So that was no so fun to wait, and another negative thing was the medical assistant gave my husband a butt injection and was in the incorrect spot. Other than that front desk lady was sweet pa was great! Well worth my money and time.
This was my first time at PrimaCare on Mockingbird. My visit was exceptional. Since they are an urgent care facility, I thought I was going to be there at least 2-3 hours. I was in and out in under an hour. And it only took that long, because I kept bringing other things for the doctor to check. The young lady at the front desk was fast and very efficient at checking me in and verifying my insurance. The nurse and the female doctor were exceptional. They always made me feel very comfortable and were very thorough. They were patient and answered all the questions that I had.
The staff, nurse assistant and Provider:Tientcheu FNP, Sylvain were all very kind and patient. The provider was very attentive, smart and seemed to care greatly about my son’s health. Overall, I’d give more stars if possible and will return to this location.
I have had nothing but positive experiences here. The medical staff here is super helpful and friendly and I never feel like they are rushing me in and out. The nurse practitioner Megan has been really great with my daughter and takes all the time to go slowly and explain things to her. I wish I could remember the names of the nurses to call them out by name, too, because they are equally as great. I do not normally write reviews, but I thought this place really deserved it.
Great experience. Friendly staff and good care. If you’re upset about the wait, just know you should expect that at any Urgent Care, especially in a pandemic. Definitely get online to start the “check in” process to get on the list, and you will likely get an “appointment” time for the day. Much better than just showing up as a walk-in and waiting for an unknown length of time.
Making an online appointment before I left home resulted in a short wait for my appointment. All staff friendly, respectful, and helpful, including receptionist, nurse/PA, and doctor. Doctor listened to me and answered any questions I had. My health issue was resolved. Facility clean and all staff wore masks.
Update:Absolute scammers. We have a credit card statement with a payment and they still sent our bull to collections. Avoid at ALL costs! More of a headache than helpful at the moment. Two hour wait just to get eye drops. I was passed up by two patients who came in without an appointment after I had arrived. Went to the pharmacy 2 hours after, they still hadnt sent the prescription over. Avoid this location if you can. Staff is kind but inefficient. Forget calling the clinic and plan on just driving there for questions, its faster than their phone line.
Great experience as always . We have years going with my children . Michelle the nurse has a lot of experience and years working there . Thank you !
Very professional staff, they helped me with the questionnaire and sent me to my room very fast. Definitely I will choose this clinic if I need to go back
I had a great experience today. Christina at the front desk was super nice and helpful and getting me checked in. Michell was awesome and made me feel super comfortable during my visit and Lakisha did the same! Thank you all for getting me in and out quickly and being so helpful, professional, and kind.
Great experience! Called around looking for an urgent care that could xray my injured ankle. NextCare was nearby and offered xrays. Check-in was easy and fast. After a short wait, I was called back for xrays by Michell (who even stayed past her shift to ensure me and another patient could be xrayed--WOW). She was so warm and made sure I was comfortable for the entire process, even adjusting the crutches that I brought in and teaching me how to properly use them. Dr. Silva got my ankle wrapped and provided thorough instructions on how to care for my sprain. Overall great experience with a really warm staff. This will be my urgent care choice from now on.
Not crowded at all when i checked in. I was seen within 15 min for a work related injury. Clean area, professional people , my doctor was through and had a warm beside manner. He was detailed. This was 3 years ago that i gave this site a 5 star review. The doctor was a wonderful Asian man.Yesterday Aug. 18 I went in for a fall i had sustained . Im 77 years old . The receptionist was unffriendly the doctor needs a better bedside manner and then the X-ray technician typed in the incorrect side on which the X-ray was taken. The doctor never called me back with the X-ray results. I had to call the m 3 times. Il wont return. Its the X-ray technician really trained?
We came here to get a second opinion. We got one that was more consistent with the symptoms shown.Even though we were late, on Medicaid, and didnt fill out our forms correctly, we were very well cared for, and had a pleasant experience. I would take my toddler (18mos) there again, because they were so gentle and kind with him, creating a safe environment and making it possible for me to confidently tell him that he was safe and that they were going to take good care of him.
Here is the type of experience you can expect.I scheduled an 8am appointment, the first of the day. I showed up at 7:55 and checked in online. The door wasnt unlocked until 8:06. I walked in and a nurse at the front asked very curtly if I had an appointment. I shared that I had an appointment that started 5 minutes ago. I was then informed that the front desk receptionist was running late today so I would have to wait to be checked in. The front desk receptionist strolled in around 8:17. I sat there without being acknowledged for another 5 or so minutes. At 8:24 I asked the front desk receptionist if she needed anything further to get me checked in. She asked for my insurance card and input the information. I then asked how much longer it was going to be until I was taken back, and she said not long. Around 8:31 (remember, 8am appointment originally) I had still not been taken back, so I had to leave in order to make it to work.PrimaCare, dont offer 8am appointments if you cant show up to work on time like everyone else.
PrimaCare at Mockingbird and Abrams in Dallas is our neighborhood go-to for most things medical. Most tecently, I needed to take my husband there; with just under an hour, they diagnosed him with a UTI, called in a prescription to our local pharmacy (3 blocks away), and handed us his discharge instructions.During our visit, we spoke with the doctor, who questioned my husband extensively about his symptoms before examining him; then my husband got an abdominal X-ray and provided a urine sample, plus they drew blood to send off to the lab along with the urine sample (to check prostate levels, etc).We also got to see most of the last hour of “The Goonies”. Spoiler alert: The movie has a happy ending. As always, I was impressed with the overall standard of care as well as the professionalism of the nurses, doctor, and front desk staff. If you need medical attention but don’t require a visit to the emergency room, I recommend you head over to PrimaCare.**Pro tip: If there’s going to be a significant wait before you can see the doctor, they will even let you go home or on about your business, then give you a courtesy call when you’re about 20 minutes away from being the next person admitted. I wish this was an industry standard, because it is very definitely a best practice!
The medical professionals at this location are kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Appointments are prompt, facility is clean, and reception is welcoming. The doctor even double checked my heart rate a couple of times because of the rapidity. It was actually this location who referred me to a cardiologist a few years ago after a bout with viral bronchitis because of my fast heartbeat. I recommend this location to my family and friends.
The staff was very welcoming and efficient! In and out.Definitely will be back!Shout out to Michell amazing customer service and work ethic!
My first time at an urgent care facility in Dallas, and I have to say I am impressed. Very friendly staff and didn’t have much of a waiting issue. One thing that stuck out to me was the call ahead to book an appointment if you didn’t want to wait in the lobby, that is beyond great and they see you right away. Thank you to the Doctor as well he was on point and got us out of there quick. Thank you PrimaCare you guys are really good at what you do and it shows. Definitely will recommend.
Wow! Was easy to get in and I was seen very quickly. Doctor n tech were professional and comforting. It wasnt a million $$$ either! Very pleased. I would recommend this spot to anyone needing to be seen quickly but that isnt an ER level of attention. THANK YOU!
I love that primacare has multiple locations that I can go to if my nearest location doesn’t have availability. The staff was very helpful and I love their checkin procedure. I didn’t have to wait long at all. I also like their online booking. My overall experience was great. I would definitely come here again if my daughters doctor is not available same day appointment.
Unfortunately, having 3 young kids Im up here much more than Id like to be. However, its about as pleasant a visit one can have at a doctors office. Place is very clean. Never waited longer than 10 minutes or so. Staff is super friendly. The doctors have consistently been very knowledgeable and have always had a personable and pleasant bedside manner. I honestly have never walked out of there with an unanswered question or, really, any complaint whatsoever. Absolutely recommend this facility *****
Had and appointment set and confirmed before I set foot in the building. I got there ten minutes before the appointment as was recommended and was called in by a nurse in a timely manner. Then I was sat in a room and made to wait on a doctor for over an hour for a simple examination and conversation that took 5 minutes. After 45 minutes I politely asked a nurse how much time was estimated until I was to be seen. They had overbooked themselves and were very inconsiderate of my time. I will not be going to a PrimaCare again. Very poor experience. I do not recommend wasting your time at this establishment.
Everyone that was working on 12-13-2020 was very nice and they followed the cdc guide lines. It took a little while for me too see a doctor but I was okay with that since some of the patients had set up appointments on line. When I finally saw the doctor. He explained the reason why my foot was swollen and he said too me that I had and infection. So they took some x-rays too determine where the infection was and why the infection had made my foot swell up. Overall everything went great. The staff was great and made sure that me and the other patients were taken care of in a timely matter. Great work Staff keep doing an excellent job.
Online form filling and check in was great. Wait was not too bad, and front desk staff was professional and courteous. The nurse practitioner was excellent and I wish I could have her as my primary care physician.
Jodie at the front desk was professional. Michell and Howie were amazing to me while I felt so sick. L. Whittaker FNP took the time to hear me and recommend a medicine that would not negatively interact with my prescribed medication. Overall I felt in good hands.
The doctor I saw was really good. I went in thinking I knew what the problem was, however he diagnosed something different and made a very important change in my wellbeing.
The whole team was great. Michelle was amazing. She didn’t waste one spare moment. If there was something she could be taking care of to make our visit more efficient she did that. The whole staff is positive and warm and welcoming. Highly recommend.
Overall a pleasant experience. The visit was quick- which is what I was looking for since I was in pain, and wanted to get back to bed, but the doctor did ask more than once for clarification of symptoms in case I forgot to mention something. Staff was professional, but not the warmest people. Being given updates about what is going on is always appreciated when one has been waiting for some time, and is in pain-even if its just politely being told, theres no update available yet, sorry. Something to keep in mind is that this is an urgent care clinic, and that most appointments are same day appointments and walk in appointments, so the probability of a long wait is very likely. Would recommend.
Its changed since it went from Primacare to Nextcare .For one, wait time was twice as long, something that wasnt even an issue during the peak of the pandemic. Second, the front desk woman who was here on 07/29 is not the person you want to see when youre not feeling so great. She didnt greet, was rude, and just impatient. On top of being so diligent about masks, she would pull hers down, therefore defeating the whole purpose of wearing the mask. The nurse practitioner was ok, wasnt helpful, and saw me for a minute. Two hours to only be seen for a minute. Im scared I was diagnosed incorrectly and will be documenting my entire experience. The whole experience was just unprofessional. Would only recommend if they still have the people that were there before Nextcare took over.
I walked in after several failed attempts to set appointments at other locations for a covid test. Most others in the area were completely booked or they didnt have the rapid testing available. Although this location didnt have a rapid test available, the very helpful person up front explained I could fill out paperwork and save my spot online, and they would contact when I needed to return. That went as planned and I went home and waited until called back. Both the staff helping with the test were professional and informative about tracking results and setting reasonable expectations about when I would see them.If you must go through with this, I would highly recommend them.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. The doctor and doctors assistant were professional and ready to help me. My doctor explained what was wrong with me and what was going to be done to get me to feeling better. I appreciate all their hard work and dedication.
I have been coming here for awhile now. I always have great experience. People are always nice. I think people get upset about waiting. Well I think if you are injured it’s gonna seem longer. I will continue to come! Thank you so much!!New post from 6-5-2020WOW!! Every time I come here I enjoy it. They have and always do treat me so fantastic. I love that they listen to what I’ve said and reflect with amazing Professionalism. Thank you ladies for helping me again.
Easy to book and was in and out in an hour. I would definitely go back for minor issues since you can get in same day. All three of the staff that helped me, Christina, Michelle and Larissa, were friendly and professional. It was super easy and quick.
Everyone here is top notch. They are always kind and supportive and helpful. I’ve been coming here regularly due to a work injury and it’s always a professional and supportive visit.
We were THAT patient, tonight. We had an urgent care need at 15 minutes before closing time ON A HOLIDAY FRIDAY NIGHT. My wife got a shard of glass lodged in her heel that we were not going to be able to get out at home. This PrimaCare facility admitted us, and gave us care above and beyond the call. I will name Nurse Michelle (correct title?) and Dr. Miller as our angels of mercy, tonight. They stayed for two-and-a-half hours past the closing time to ensure our night ended well. Three X-rays, two attempts at removal, and four stitches later my sweet wife was riding home. It didn’t matter to these professionals what time or day it was. We knew they were exhausted, and they still treated us like the most important people in the world at that point in time.Thank you Michelle, Dr. Miller, and PrimaCare!
This clinic is amazing! I had a few unrelated problems this year- bee sting, Covid, pulled muscle in my left chest and it caused sharp pain in my left chest.. Dr. Cesar Silva is always so calm and not only takes good care of me, also calms me down! Highly recommend this clinic! Life is so good when we have good people on our life!
Megan, the NP was very compassionate, kind, and thorough with my son. I even received a courtesy call the next day. My son was seen quickly without more than a 20 min wait. I was very impressed. This was our first time to an urgent care and it was so convenient.
Truly remarkable, kind hearted, educated, professional and experienced staff! My family and I (mostly I) have frequented this particular Urgent Care center more then a handful of times and I/we always leave knowing we have received the absolute top notch best care. A special thanks and recognition is the least I can do. Thank YOU!!
Been there twice for my daughter, with injuries sustained in a car accident and an athletic event. Both times were great service, very prompt, easy and thorough. The doctors in both cases were very informative and helpful and very nice. Of course it is an urgent care place, you dont expect the same type of personal level of care, but they seem to be very friendly and all of the staff and doctors were very nice and helpful. As for the cost in the case of the car accident they wont file with car insurance but they told me that up front and offered a flat rate to cover all services and I could then file it on my own. The other visit was simply a copay.Visited a third time recently for an acute illness and again received excellent care. Very thorough explanations of diagnosis, tests, treatment, medications and follow-up plan.
I’ve never had a bad experience here until this last visit. I made an appointment here because I could be seen the same day. Ended up waiting in my car for over two hours to be seen. The Dr. was great but I was very sick and left without a prescription. Ok I get that.. they wanted to see if I had Covid which is viral. Once the negative result came in a day and a half later my condition progressed and I’m very sick. Coughing up green mucus which was going on the day I initially saw them. I called the nurse practitioner and he denied me again when I asked for antibiotics. I had to schedule a call with my PCP which is more energy, time and money. Such a disappointment as I always could depend on this place when I’m really sick. These $5 antibiotics ended up costing me $350!!!
We have used this urgent care provider on multiple occasions and have found their medical care to be compassionate and appropriate in every visit. They are my first choice for non-emergency medical care if our primary physician is not available.
We were referred to you all by another facility. So thankful we were. We were greeted by the most caring front desk people. Then we were greeted by a nurse named Michelle. She has a heart of gold!!! She helped us so much with our 97 year old mother. She was caring, sweet and has the best heart ❤️ we would recommend her to anyone. The doctor was the best!!! Thank you all for the care that we needed!
There was a bit of a wait for us but well worth it. The staff were all nice . The doctor really explained things to us and made sure we understood things before we left. They really took the extra time to ensure that we were well taken care of. I would go back there and I live in Fort Worth. If thats not saying something then I just dont know. Thanks for the great service......
Long waiting even with appointment. Basic care, without any explanation.
Have been going here for years. Easy to get an appointment online. Typically about 15 min in the waiting area and about 5 minutes to see the doctor or nurse practitioner. Very friendly staff -as good as you can find anywhere.
Christina at the front desk and Michelle the nurse were both amazing. So sweet, professional and incredibly helpful with smiles and a great attitude. Surpassed my expectations of a urgent care facility like this. ❤️
All employees we encountered here were professional and patient. They were incredibly kind and speedy on Thanksgiving eve... could quite literally not have been a more pleasant experience. Thank you all front-line workers and thanks for making our tests easy PrimaCare!!!
Every single visit is always amazing! The staff is always on point caring detailed-oriented and listen to you no matter how long it takes. They care at this location. Ive been using Primacare Lakewood since 1996 and I would never go anywhere else for emergency care or any kind of care for that matter. Dr. Scott is amazing as is Bill Whitehead. And the amazing Rodrigo Rodriguez expert is an expert medical assistant and everything you can imagine.. HES ON IT! Jody Maria Treveno is incredibly kind funny and caring too....Shes a trained Medical Assistant as well but last visit was at the front desk killing it! Theyre an amazing crew..I love them all.❤💚💛💜🖤🤎🤍💙😉
I was really lucky that this facility was on my Insurance plan. I got great care from the physician assistant thank you!
I would give it negative stars if I could. The front office woman (Jodie Trevino) was extremely rude. She did not greet and seemed to be in a bad mood. I asked her for a school excuse,e and she generated a document stating my child could go back to school the same day and that he was seen in the morning when in fact,t they let us out in the afternoon. When I asked her to please change it, she got an attitude and was loud. My child will now have truancy due to this. The wait time was about 2 hours even though only one other gentleman was waiting to be consulted. The restroom was disgusting. I had to clean it myself to use it. There is dry urine all over the toilet and floor.I will never ever recommend someone here. In fact, I will leave a bad review—the worst experience. The doctor (male doctor) and nurse were decent. But not the front office wome,n Jodi. She created a horrible experience.
With slim to no options in the Dallas area to get tested for COVID-19 even with symptoms, I was able to walk into PrimaCare. I’ve been here before and have been tested for COVID-19 here before so I knew they had all of my info and knew how they operated and I prefer to go places I’ve been in the past. While there was a few hours of wait since I was a walk in - the online system they use is so nice. It tells you your check in time, where you are in the line compared to appointment times and others who walked in before and even after you (with initials only to identify each patient). I went home to rest and they texted me that they were ready for me. I went back and waited in the lobby for about 15 minutes before being called back for examination/testing. Results were quick and they always provide professional service by kind healthcare workers. Will continue to use them as long as I live in this area.
I made an appointment on line and still had to wait almost an hour due to being understaffed for the amount of need, but it was a Sunday morning, so I kind of expected that. Service otherwise was great! People were very friendly and kind. They listened to me rather than treating me like I didnt know my own body like some places do. I will definitely use their services again.
It was 4 minutes before close and they still got me in and were as efficient helpful and patient as they always are!Myself and my family have received over the past years some of the best care from the doctors on staff at the Mockingbird location. We are so grateful for Primacare because it seems our kids always get sick on weekends and after hours! :)
I took my son in sick to get seen and get a covid test as a walk in since they were no appointments available. The lady in the front was so nice and put us in the waiting list within a hr or so we got called in and was seen the doctor and his assistant were very nice! This will be my new location for my son to be seen when sick way better then mesquite location!
Went to get tested for COVID 19, and it went really well. I set my appointment in advance online and was able to see someone within a few minutes of being there. Everyone was very nice and professional and it was a very easy process. I’d definitely go back for other medical needs in the future.
