Doctor Sowby was absolutely amazing! All of her staff in office were so helpful and pleasant to have helped me. The office is very clean which is so important! Also, the hospital staff the doctor works with are phenomenal and everyone treated me with lots of love and care 10/10

I love when a doctor gives you good understanding of what you’re going thru. And give you options on how to help with your situation. For my first time going there. Friendly helpful and welcoming. All good vibes. From front office back office and doctor. Very good vibes. Will recommend friends family to go and check it out for themselves.

Not sure if the doctor was having a bad day or she simply didnt like me, but I had a very negative experience with Dr. Sowby. She seemed very offended that I got a second opinion from a different doctor - when I was just trying to do whats best for my health. She blatantly said I dont know what to tell you when I asked whats the best course of action for my condition. Very rude and pushy to send me medication (when she barely asked any questions) instead of listening to her patient. If you want a doctor who will make you feel heard and understood, shes not it.

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Sowby at Memorial Miramar Hospital, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible care I received. Dr. Sowby’s attention to detail and genuine concern for her patients set her apart. she took the time to thoroughly explain everything, making sure I understood each step of my procedure, which really eased my worries.Her staff was equally attentive and professional, helping me feel comfortable and supported throughout the entire visit. It’s rare to find a team that works so seamlessly together since office staff and hospital together, ensuring a smooth experience from start to finish. Dr. Sowby and her team truly go above and beyond to make sure their patients feel valued and well-cared-for. Highly recommended!

This was my 1st visit as a new patient to the Miramar location.Pros: clean business, nice & welcoming personality among the staff of ladies, Dr. Sowby is a ball of joy LOL when I seen her & attentive to your concernsCons: only has 3 locations that are further south (Miramar, Homestead, & Doral), extensive wait time, better communication when youre scheduled appt time is running delayed by more than an hour!, extensive questions to answer via the tablet in addition to the information thats requested via text!Outside of the cons, Dr. Sowby was amazing and pleasant as a GYN! Id be willing to do the drive to handle my visits for now.... although, the 40 minute drive is mind blowing, unfortunately due to my health insurance.

Great staff for a great doctor. One of a kind, sympathetic to her patients health issues, kind and understanding, patient and very professional. Wonderful human being w perfect bedside manners.

What an unprofessional rude doctor! The doctor did not like that was asking questions about my symptoms and said that Instagram is wrong... mind you have medical professionals in my family that gave me the questions to ask. Will never go back there again.

Dr Sowby was great the first visit and seems very nice, warm and effective. The office however is very disorganized and mis managed. After having sent 4 emails, 3 texts and 2 live phone calls to confirm that I would be there on time, when I arrived for my annual appointment, I waited an hour without comment. Then, when I asked how long it would be, I was told I am probably next. But they took two more patients before me. When I asked if I should reschedule she said your next. They quickly put me in a room took my info and said the doctor will be right in however, I waited another 30 minutes with no interaction. At that point and after more than an hour and a half of waiting, I put my clothes back on, walked to reception and asked to reschedule because I had to go to work. As I waited to do this, Dr. Sowby continued to move from room to room seeing other patients. If the office knew that they had 9 people scheduled at the same time, and that I would have a 2 hour wait time why didnt they- in one of their 8 confirmations- offer to move my appointment to a later time. I feel like they are just taking appointments to be busy and not to provide a decent service to their patience. Consider how much time you have for an appointment before you choose this facility. I have found another one.

Dr. Taralyn Sowby is absolutely fantastic!! Her level of professionalism, attention to detail and overall care have made me a loyal client. Under her care and guidance I’ve seen drastic improvement in my skin. The overall staff is also very welcoming, fast and well-organized. I highly recommend this office if you’re looking for a dermatologist!
