Booked online seamlessly before leaving work. Got the appointment set for shortly after getting home. Nurse that did initial intake was awesome. Very nice, genuine and friendly, despite it being quite later into the afternoon. You would have thought she just got there. Even advised she hoped I got better soon. Seemed like a genuine concern, not a forced response. Wait time always a little longer than I enjoy but is to be expected with urgent care and priority of patients.

The wait was a little on the longer side, but it was so worth it. Everyone was so nice and welcoming and validating. I was treated very well and was prescribed with the perfect medications, making me feel better and back on my feet only after taking 2 dosages. Thank you for the great service. I will definitely return.

This urgent care used to be top notch. Not anymore. They allow you to book appointments and then see you over an hour past your appointment with no apologies or urgency. The nurse said she is only one person and can only do so much. The practitioner saw me for a whole 30 seconds and concluded I was fine. No extensive consultation whatsoever. Felt like I was there to fund the place and not receive any true medical treatment.

My provider is closed on the weekends. My health insurance approved a referral. But three hour wait. Called referral office back and they changed referral to NextCare. I was able to schedule an appointment, completed check-in on line (Much better doing this from home than in the waiting room). Showed up for my appointment 15 minutes early, check-in was a breeze. Staff was very friendly, diagnosed and treated. NextCare is comfortable and well managed facility. NP Laughlin is very professional and diagnosis was exactly what I suspected (as I am a RN). Taking antibiotics and recovering at home.

Went in due to respiratory problems, couldnt breath, high fever, body aches, headaches. After speaking with a doctor via telehealth who suggested i go in for a chest ex-ray and thought that I may have walking pneumonia. The intake lady was super nice. I got there well before my scheduled appointment, but wasnt seen until about 1 hr after. ( no, it wasnt busy) After getting called back the nurse put the oxygen tester on my finger asking me my symptoms. I was having issues breathing and struggling to breath. The nurse looked at the tester and replied well, your reading is normal So concern completely ignored. Next room with the doctor, asked if I had been around anyone who has been sick. I let her know my brother was at my home recently and found out he had walking pneumonia. This doctor looked me straight in the face and told me...walking pneumonia is NOT CONTAGIOUS !!!! So needless to say, I do NOT recommend this place, that doctor needs to be re-educated, and doctors need to do better for the people in need. Over all ridiculous experience.

I can’t say I “enjoyed my experience” - you go to urgent care when you’re not feeling well. However, though the wait time was long even with an appointment, all the staff are friendly and professional. The space is clean and I appreciated the distance between other patients in the waiting room. Once I was called back, my visit was both succinct and thorough.

After calling in to make sure we could get an X-ray and checked for pneumonia and being told yes we set an appointment. When we get there we find out the Dr and X-ray tech are not in and we can only do virtual appointments. The medical assistant was extremely short and didnt even bother asking for all symptoms. Once we finally go to talk to the doctor she went on to tell us that our previous flu and COVID tests are false negatives even though symptoms are pointing to pneumonia and that antibiotics have helped my wife who has the same symptoms. It took arguing with her to admit that she was wrong and to prescribe antibiotics and Prednisone. I told her in the past it takes higher than 20mg Prednisone for me, and she proceeded to give me a script for 20mg tapering down to 10mg after one day. I wont be coming back here if Im not going to be listened to and ignored about how Im feeling and how meds effect me.

The check in process definitely needs to be improved upon. I called early morning to schedule an appointment. I was told 6:00 PM was 1st available. Couldn’t believe it but took it anyway. Arrived 15 minutes before check in and checked in. There were several people in waiting area when I arrived. At about 6:50 PMI asked why I had not yet been seen. I asked if the people here were walk-ins. I was told yes. If you are going to ask (offer) scheduled check-ins then I would think we would be taken at our scheduled times before others (walk in). What is the point of scheduling a time when it appears that you take everyone on a fist come first serve basis.

Would give negative five stars if I could. Ive been to this facility twice in the last 5 years. Each time theyve told me to go see a different doctor, rushed me out the door without caring enough to give me any helpful advice or instructions. The apathetic doctors are nothing more than overpaid paper pushers.I will never step foot in that facility again. Nor will I pay their bill for them to shove me out the door with tears running down my face.

I used Next Care several months ago and had an excellent provider. Today’s experience was very different. I thought I had a UTI which tests ruled out. I waited in a room for an hour, feeling awful, sitting in a straight, unarmed chair. The provider, whom I hadn’t seen before, walked in, leaned against the wall and told me that I didn’t have a UTI. I told her I felt awful and what else did she think it could be. Her response. “I don’t know.” She never introduced herself or asked me any questions about my medical history.I have chronic conditions which should have been discussed and considered. I just wanted to feel we had throughly explored the situation and that the visit was worthwhile. Extremely disappointed and will not be returning.

My mom had a UTI infection the day after Christmas.  This was the third clinic we had been to as the others were either booked or had a 3hour walk-in wait.  Our wait was about 2 hours but the staff was very compassionate and kind.  Meds were prescribed for her and the care giver even told us about a daily dose medication that might be helpful for her frequent infections.  I would definitely go back here.

My visit to this clinic on August 14, 2023 is one of my greatest regrets. Before I begin - to anyone reading this, if youre suffering from anything remotely complex, please consider seeing a specialist or establishing a primary doctor before seeking help from an Urgent Care. If you absolutely have to, please double check their treatment plan and prescriptions with another practitioner. It could literally save you months or years of misery. As I stated before, I visited this clinic on August 14, 2023 for hematuria. I hadnt established a primary doctor yet so an Urgent Care seemed like an okay place to start. Upon being seen the nurse tried to convince me that I had an STD/STI despite not having performed any tests yet and ignoring my medical history (one long-term partner who is also clean). They collected a urine sample for basic testing and part of it was sent off for culture analysis. Before being discharged and without proof, the nurse practitioner diagnosed me with prostatitis and prescribed Ciprofloxacin to treat it. I tried asking questions about alternative causes that werent infection related because it just didnt seem possible, but every alternative was shot down.I was unaware at the time, but Ciprofloxacin belongs to a family of antibiotics known as fluoroquinolones that are highly potent and dangerous. The FDA placed a black box warning on them stating they should only be used when no other option is available.Three days later the clinic notifies me that the culture analysis is clear. Despite the good result they recommend that I finish taking the antibiotic. When I ask why, they push the STD/STI theory again, but this time try to convince me that my girlfriend has been unfaithful. I ignore their gaslighting and very naively finish taking the antibiotic. A week later I started experiencing side effects...In the months after taking Cipro I suffered from central and peripheral nerve damage, body-wide tendonitis and damage to my gut lining. These symptoms were later confirmed by two separate doctors to be linked to Cipro. And my original reason for the visit, hematuria, was actually caused by a busted blood vessel not an infection. The diagnosis and prescription I received from this clinic has caused me a great deal of suffering over the past year and has drastically changed how I view conventional medicine. Im still on the road to recovery and thankfully doing a bit better. To anyone reading, please read the safety information for any medication you take. You cant rely on medical practitioners to warn you.

We waited for three hours with an appt at 530 with a fever and feel awful and then to get called back at 710 to check vitals and tellMe they don’t have the flu swabs. Awful. You could’ve said that at check in. Maybe have a nurse come and triage and then let the patients know instead of waiting for three hours to be told we are not equipped to do urgent care matters. I wouldn’t recommend this nor any of the next care urgent care facilities to anyone.

I had a medical emergency and should have known better than to stop there. Ive worked in an Urgent Care clinic for many years and was surprised they just let me sit in the waiting room, telling me I would be called back after two other patients. We left after 10 or so minutes and still had one patient ahead of me. I went to Barry Road St Lukes ER because (sometimes) every minute counts and the girl at this clinic told me upfront they would send me on.Dont go to this clinic if its an emergency - its ran by appointment like a doctors office. I was refunded my copay.

The entire medical staff was very kind and informative. I came in for a UTI, and they treated me for that. With the urine results the nurse practitioner (my apologies I forgot her name) went further with her questioning regarding my diabetes. She had my blood sugars taken and made a referral to ER. Though that is not what I was expecting or wanting I really appreciate our healthcare at Urgent Care going the extra mile to seek further, evaluate and speak to me as a concerned healthcare provider. Thank you to the staff that worked this evening 12/28/24. Not only was the nurse practitioner exceptional, but the nurse that took my vitals, etc. As well, the front desk scheduler / receptionist took the time to schedule me as I was a walk in. I expected an x ray or something to possibly determine exactly what the pain was, and that concern was just swept under the rug.

I went in last Sunday and had received a test to evaluate my eyes. Loved my intake nurse and the doctor that evaluated me! However, test results like these really matter in terms of days, especially with the progression that organs can have over a week. I was told I would receive test results within 3-5 days, in which I was okay with waiting. I called yesterday, the Friday following, for the first time in the morning, in which I was told that the results were in, and the doctors would have to call me in between patients as they were busy, and the receptionist did not have the authority to read them to me. I completely understood, but did not receive a call. I called back at 4pm, and was told Weve been busy, and we still have until 8pm to call you. As I was polite on the phone, this tone was a little bit off to me to say the least, especially since the test results could result in having to take antibiotics, which time matters, especially with pharmacies closing relatively early compared to 8pm. So I waited again, and called at 7:45pm, as I did not receive a call. I asked if I could get the test results before they close, and they said to me that they had 5 more patients to see, and other patients were going to have to wait to receive calls tomorrow morning too. At this point, this passes the 3-5 day threshold, despite them having my results for 24 hours. For matters that may concern a test, please go to another care facility, and avoid trying to be convinced over the phone that you are being impatient with your test results.Update: Received a call today, the Saturday following my test, at 1:40pm - Specialist on phone was kind and straight to the exam results! But again, if you have something that concerns a more urgent matter with testing, they may not have the capacity to review your results in a timely fashion!

So theres a couple of reasons for the 1 star, but Ill explain the one or two positives momentarily.+Was able to make an appointment 30 min prior to desired time of wanting to be seen. Not bad for a last minute appointment+The gentlemen who performed the initial tests on me (John?), super nice and understandingThats where the positives endIm someone who does not have insurance as of right now, so the price was high for me. Something I anticipated anyways, but Ill get back to that. Paid $350 before being seen, understanding of that process as well. Super nice guy helped me out, ran the tests and put me in their exam room. I waited for about 10 min and then some other woman (I assume a doctor) told me quite abruptly that I tested negative for the 3 things I got tested for (flu, covid & strep). Before coming in, I had a fever that peaked at 102.6 and had an up/down temp for past couple of days prior. My temp was down because had taken 1000mg of Tylenol + Ibuprofen. Before heading in, my significant other and I self diagnosed myself and we thought I had strep. Obviously I need a medical professional to test me for it so I can get some meds. So when I came up negative for this test, the doctor just said I had some viral infection thats going around and Im good to go. She didnt seem to care too much as it was close to closing time for them. Felt like I was just being pushed out the door. She even said something dismissive as, You want me to get you some steroids to help? No, I want some fuckin antibiotics. So I left. My symptoms got worst over the course of 3 more days. Went to another urgent care and immediately got the treatment I needed. Surprise surprise, it was strep. Before going to this other urgent care, I called this one back and explained everything. Symptoms worsened, new problems came up (mouth lesions, coughing (more), etc.). I would have to book an entirely new appointment AND being charged another $350 on top of that. Im unsure if theyre testing methodology is flawed, but seems off that I dont just get examined a second time having spent so much the first time around. The person I spoke with was also not very helpful and rather dismissive when I mentioned potentially malpractice too. So that was interestingDo not go here if you want to get better. Do not go here if you have no insurance. There are cheaper and better options available. The other place by the way was $119. $119 for the same exact level of testing, except it felt more personable and like they cared12/20/2024 UPDATE: Got hit with another $235 bill. So come to find out the $300+ I paid for was just for me to be seen. The additional cost were the tests they conducted. Heres the itemized list:$50 For Flu Test$50 For Flu Test (Duplicate?)$75 For Covid Test$50 For Strep TestI dont know how I feel about getting another bill for this especially knowing the outcome of my visit. I plan on disputing this list especially since they cant make an accurate one; similar to their testing

Not impressed. I showed up before my appointment time, had to wait 30 minutes after my appointment to be called back. I barely got to talk about what was going on with me the girl who did my vitals spent the entire time talking about herself instead of talking to me about symptoms. Then the nurse came in and was not interested in helping me at all, she just wanted to confirm I didnt have what I thought I may have had and was done with me once she glanced in my ears. 10 minutes TOTAL of being seen for NOTHING cost me over $100 and I am leaving with absolutely no help or suggestions besides just keep taking ibuprofenI think what makes me the most upset is the fact I spent less than 3 minutes with the actual nurse. I want that to be an exaggeration but it isnt at all. Literally less than 5 minutes before she was ready to be done with me. This felt more like a scam. She couldnt have spent another 5 minutes to talk with me about symptoms and talk about what steps I should take? She absolutely knew I was leaving feeling not taken care of and even had the gall to tell me my doctor would have seen the same thing. No shit. Of course she would, but she would have also taken the time to talk to me about what might be causing my symptoms. This lady had no guesses and did literally nothing but check in my ears and down my throat. Didnt check my nose, didnt talk to me about symtoms, maybe she would have listened better than the girl that was supposed to listen. I felt talked over and that once they got my money they may as well of been done with me. I have never left a place feeling so untaken care of.

She barely glanced at them and told me they weren’t spider bites and then asked if they itched and I said yes and she said yeah spider bites don’t normally itch….i have 2 veteran RNs in my family and they are both the ones that told me to be seen because they were indeed spider bites and you can do a quick google search and see they were indeed spider bites including itching being a very common symptom of them. I ended up going to a different urgent care and was told by the doctor they were indeed spider bites and looked like brown recluse bites at that so was prescribed medication to treat. So dissatisfied as brown recluse bites can be extremely serious if left untreated so had I taken the first providers word for it, it could have gotten very bad for me. Visited 1 April 2021(Not an April fools joke)I was notified that I had been in contact with someone who had tested positive for COVID-19 so I needed to get tested. At approximately 8am I searched my location for the nearest testing center and results for Next Care Urgent Care came up. I navigated to their website which laid out instructions for scheduling an appointment. I then navigated to solvhealth[.]com which allowed me to select an appointment time, fill out all paperwork prior to visiting the clinic, uploading an ID for them to identify me upon arrival, and inputting insurance information. The site was user friendly and easy to use. Within minutes, I received an appointment confirmation and further instructions on what to do when I arrived. When I was selecting an appointment time, there were availability for every 30 minutes increments from 8am all the way to 7pm (if I remember correctly). I selected 5pm since I was attending a virtual training and would not have time before then. Near my appointment time, I received a text message reminder.I arrived at the clinic and on the door to the clinic there are signs posted with instructions about checking-in. It was a bit unclear since it did not specify if patients should check in and wait outside or check in and wait in the waiting area. Since I was there for a COVID-19 test I decided to wait outside because I could see two other patients sitting in the waiting area to be seen. I didnt want to potentially expose them. After I checked in using the provided QR code, I immediately received another text confirming that I had checked it. Once I noticed the two patients were gone, I went in and sat in the waiting area. I guess my insurance information was inputted wrong because the receptionist asked to see my card so she could make corrections. After a few minutes of wait, nurse Melissa who was very friendly, took me back to triage. It wasnt even a minute after she was done that the doctor came in, had a brief discussion with me, then administered the test. She informed me that it would be about 15 minutes so I sat waiting. This was probably one of thee longest waits ever! I was so worried especially since I had a slight fever. Luckily, the doctor came back and notified me that my results were negative. YASSS!!The clinic was easy to find. They are following all COVID-19 protocols: contact less check-ins, physical space between seats in the waiting area, masks required for all patients and employees, available hand sanitizer and hand washing by staff. It was a cold day and the temperature in the waiting area was comfortable. However, the exam room was extremely hot so the nurse had to keep the door propped open during triage.Overall, the facility was clean, the staff was friendly, and service was efficient.

They only care about money, not their patients.Update: Turns out I have a serious stress fracture and my new doctor said that urgent care NP was very neglectful.

We visited NextCare after my son dislocated his elbow on a layover in the Kansas City airport. The doctor we saw was kind and friendly and took good care of my son. They were sensitive to his pain while trying to get X-rays, and when we ultimately had to go to Children’s Hospital, they called ahead so the ER was waiting for us. We highly recommend NextCare.

The receptionist was not very friendly, especially when we had not understood when she told us something about our insurance. The doctor was ok, not overly welcoming or friendly either but was nice enough. We were confused about what she thought the illness might be, and had to ask the nurse if she was coming back to explain, which I felt awkward about. I wouldnt avoid it, but its too bad they dont make patients feel a bit more comfortable (especially when people arent feeling well in the first place).

The ladies there were very kind. Service was pretty quick but there were no other patients there. I was originally misdiagnosed. I came in for a badly rolled ankle. They took x-rays of my ankle and one of the ladies looked at them and told me there wasn’t a break. She also told me that it was a grade 1 sprain and that I could start putting pressure on it to walk. She said that if the radiologist came back with anything different, she would call me. While I was leaving, she encouraged me to walk on my foot using my crutches and I did. After I got home, she called to tell me that the radiologist found a break in my talus bone, and she apologized for telling me inaccurate information. I’m frustrated that she encouraged me to walk on my foot without knowing for sure that it wasn’t broken. I should’ve just waited to know for sure. I realized after our phone call ended that I had more questions and it took 3 more phone calls to finally get some answers. Overall, I’m frustrated with originally being told the wrong diagnosis. But I understand that mistakes happen. I just hope that, in the future, they decide to wait for the radiologist’s input before giving any instruction on how to treat an injury. I could have worsened my fracture if I had continued to follow her instructions for a longer period of time. Thank goodness that didn’t happen.

Deplorable bedside manner and lack of care from the FNP. Actually appalling. I understand if she examined me and made a recommendation on next steps but she actually did not even attempt to. I believe because I was in a car accident and my complaints were the standard back and neck pain in addition to foggy-ness she immediately discounted me. She actually said “well you drove here didn’t you” because she was eating outside when I pulled up. Regardless of if I drove there or not - regardless of her personal opinions on me based on my appearance or reason for going to the doctor - there is a standard of care that was absent,  insulting and discriminatory. I was in an accident that deployed all airbags, totaled my car and left me in pain.  I just wanted someone to examine me and either tell me I am fine or recommend my next steps. I’m in a state of shock by the behavior and would never recommend anyone trust this provider for care.

Looked in my ears and throat(only thing she did). And said I have a cold. I should have been tested for Covid at least given my symptoms. She told me come back if you have a temperature of 100.4 or above. They hadn’t taken my temperature. I had to ask them to then take my vitals. Many symptoms I’m having are concerning. I was applying for a company that sent me to this facility for a dot exam. My one year dot card was good for another 9 months but the company said I had to take another physical. They sent a group of us over at once and this place rushed you through. I have had numerous dot physicals and they always did one thing at a time. The woman who gave me my whisper test was doing it at the same time she was training another employee to take blood pressure. I am right handed and the trainee was taking it with my right arm instead of the left arm. They were doing 2 things at once. I was focused on the trainee and the First Lady failed me on the whisper test. When I asked the doctor when I was going to get the hearing test later he said you already failed that. So I tried to explain to the trainee that I have been under a lot of stress and asked to sit in the waiting room for a while to then retake my blood pressure she responded that is up to your company. She did the bp retake 30 seconds later and within 15 minutes I was given paperwork saying I failed and that it invalidates my current dot card. So I saw my VA doctor today and was given a blood pressure test by a nurse not a employee trainee and not rushed through the process. Even the doctor did not listen to my lungs with his stethoscope as all prior dot test doctors have done. I definitely felt this place rushed people through like cattle and did not assist to help me pass the tests. Since 1990 I have never failed a dot physical until I came to this place. I wish I could talk to the owner so another person doesn’t experience the same treatment as I felt I was given . This is my blood pressure when given by a nurse not a employee trainee.

Very efficient check in process, rooming, staff communication, and timely discharge. Easy to find location and the sidewalks/entrance were salted appropriately. The reception area was clean and stocked with masks, hand sanitizer and Kleenexes, as well as abundant seating for being busy. I would greatly recommend this location to everyone!Your Liberty location was closed due to not having a provider, which is completely understandable. Feedback on this location is that your MA/front desk/other associate working this morning let six to eight people stack up in the foyer with the door locked, and there wasn’t an update given until about 8:50am. After calling the number listed on the door, it rang to the Leavenworth clinic, and that associate gave me the number to the Liberty clinic (which is not posted anywhere). When the Liberty staff member came out at 8:50, she was very short: “OK, we don’t have a provider, and we don’t know when we’re going to have one. You can go to our sister clinic on Tiffany Parkway.” I asked if she had an address, which she gave me, and as soon as people turned around, she immediately locked the door back up and walked away. There was no greeting, no apology, no closing other than she had “instructed” and promptly locked us out. I completely understand that there is nothing that can be done without a provider, but if the result is being completely dismissive and rude, then perhaps a sign on the door would be sufficient. I can’t imagine this is the first time being rude with it rolling off that easy, either.

On two occasions, they have messed up my prescriptions. The first time they seemed really busy and I think the perception just never got sent and when I tried to call to ask about it, it was impossible to get someone on the phone and I had to go to a different urgent care to get helped. The second time, they prescribed me the wrong medication and when I called to correct it, they told me the doctor would call me back the next day and never did. That was just a week ago and I AGAIN am having to go to another doctor to get the medicine I need. I wouldn’t recommend this urgent care

When my daughter lacerated her scalp at 5:30pm, I was dreading what I was certain would be a long night at UC or ER. NextCare had a 6pm appt available. I was able to easily book and complete paperwork from my phone, get my daughter in the car and drive the 12 minutes to the facility. Once there, Brandy was so kind and got us checked in, Sarah J. met us in the waiting room to do a cursory glance at her scalp without alerting her, Sarah and Ashley prepped her and chatted with her, helping her feel happy and remain calm, and then Kelly applied two staples to the scalp and sent us on our way. We were home in under an hour and each staff member who interacted with our daughter was so extremely kind. Thank you!

I only come here when location is more important than time. It’s closer to my house than other Urgent Care locations. And I have no idea why, but every time I come to this location it always takes forever and it’s never very busy. I’d guess it takes twice as long as any other location in Liberty, Shoal Creek, St Joseph, etc. I’ve waited for an hour and a half before with only three other patients waiting to be seen and several physicians seeing patients. Doesn’t make sense. The staff is always friendly and the doctors seem competent but they seem to drag their feet and it drives me crazy.

People were nice but not knowing that they didn’t have an x-ray person until after we’ve already waited for an hour after the appointment, which was supposed to be at 7:30 after I worked a 12 hour shift just trying to get my daughter seen it was pretty frustrating because now today I get to run around and Figure out where to take her and get her prescriptions because by the time the appointment was done, the pharmacy had closed. A $20 co-pay isn’t a lot but it is when you basically have gained no traction on an injury your child sustained, and is in massive amounts of pain

The customer service at this location was top notch. I had a pleasant and caring experience from intake to treatment. Kelley was knowledgeable and thorough. Danielle was friendly/extra patient with my fear of needles and administered my shot with such expertise, I had to ASK if it was over. I hope I have no reason to see them again soon but it sure is reassuring to know I will get great care if I ever do need it.

The lady at the front desk was nice but that was where the good experience ended. There was one other gentleman in the waiting area the entire time we were there and we still waited over an hour to be called back. At that point the nurse grabbed us and started asking questions about symptoms and said okay if its a virus there isnt anything well be able to do. The doctor had the same demeanor of theyd rather be anywhere other than where they were. Why choose ghealthcare as a profession if you lack empathy? I dont get it. We did end up getting an antibiotic and my daughter is feeling better but we wont be back.

Then month later get a bill saying I never paid. Cant get a hold of anyone to resolve matter. Waiting on hold for 30 minutes no answer. I pay my bills. Now they want me to pay again cause they cant figure out their error. Waited for hours. Then got into a room and the doctor forgot about us for another hour. Dont go to this location.

Whatever you do DO NOT GO HERE! I went to this urgent care on 10/13/19 my knee was 3x as big as it should be. The dr. NEVER touched my knee, no exam, just an xray, discharged me without anything for pain and said - and I quote - the physical therapists have said not to give patients braces because it does more harm. She said my knee was fine, not broken and to go home and take ibuprofen and put ice on it. For a WEEK Ive been walking around in pain until today. I went to the orthopedic urgent care in Leawood... guess what I have? TWO PATELLAS! Guess how many youre supposed to have?? One. ONE! 1!! Guess what NextCare Urgent Care missed? A broken patella! Guess who needs surgery now because Ive been walking on a broken leg and its now separated?! So thanks NextCare for your lousy doctor who could apparently care less about actually doing their job. I have two young boys and youve absolutely dropped the ball! and possibly irreparably damaged my knee!

Horrible experience! For starters the receptionist supposedly checked us when we first got there however each time we spoke with her she checked us in. How many times does it take?! She then hounded me about my insurance even after I told her I had to call and get the numbers for her. After that we waited for HOURS ro be seen. We had a 330 appt and are finally in the back. Its 530. Before being called back I asked the receptionist how much longer to which she replied, you can go run whatever errand. I said no. Then her next suggestion was to reschedule. I told her that wasnt an option either. My son has asthma he needs to be seen now! She then proceeded to blankly state at the computer and ignore me. Very rude and unaccommodating.I dont know how they manage their patients but usually patients with appts are seen first and people with breathing issue take precedence. Very disappointed with this experience.

I contracted COVID and experienced symptoms including constipation, fever, headache, and fatigue. Initially, I was sent to CVS and Walgreens without receiving any treatment or examination. The following day, I found it necessary to go to the ER, where I spent the entire night receiving IV fluids, medication, a CT scan, and an X-ray. The ER provided me with a treatment plan for 10 days.

Horrible service!I had car accident as someone hit my car from behind so I scheduled appointment for check-up. I filled up all required information online and arrive the NextCare Clinic in North Kansas City 20 min early. Went to the front desk to check in and the lady acknowledged and asked for my insurance card. I provided andwas told to wait. After half an hour of wait, I checked back with the front desk and was told that there were still 3 people ahead of me and that will take another hour of wait. I told the front desk about my scheduled appointment and she said if theres someone came in as emergency, that person would go in without appointment. Not sure how the scheduling works here if it is base on first come first serve! Obviously not very effective based on my personal experience. Altogether it took almost an hour to get there, checked in, waited and drove home but I didnt get to see a a Doc/Physician/Nurse. I decided to leave the clinic because it was just a waste of my time. I wont recommend anyone to go there at all. They are totally unprofessional!

Both are named Sarah, one is Sarah J, who took my initial questions and VS plus when she had to give me a shot, it was not felt. The Second Lady is Sarah D, who is NP. I visited the NextCare Urgent Care on Ambassador Rd in Kansas City with the very familiar symptoms of a UTI. After waiting 1.5 hours past my appointment time, the Provider confirmed, from the urine sample dip, that I did have a UTI, prescribed medication & indicated that they would send the sample out for further culture as is normal procedure. Today I received a call that the culture was negative & I could stop the medication. When I asked for an explanation in the difference in test results they told me that it could be the Provider I saw looked at a culture result on file from a year ago!!! This is not only terrible treatment of patients but borders on malpractice if this is what actually happened. I would NOT recommend this urgent care facility.
