Planned Parenthood - Manchester Center

In May 2023, I checked into PPSNE for a standard STI panel. The provider, Kristine Sterling, excused herself from the exam room and a young female phlebotomist entered to draw my blood. The first attempt at the draw was a total failure, such that no blood was even drawn from the needle stick. I ended up on the floor after experiencing a visceral shock and imminently losing consciousness. Never once in a 1,000 needlesticks has this ever happened to me. NP Sterling re-entered the room to see what was taking so long, and her reaction to seeing me on the floor was as if she had seen a ghost, and she excused herself w/o attending to me.I am 33 years old, and writing this review as of January 2025, I still have residual nerve damage in my left arm. PPSNE never documented what happened, and when I tried to follow up with the provider, my messages were intercepted by another nurse. After a sequence of messages in which I made the accusation of negligence from a routine medical procedure--and even pleaded for help--- Dr. Ayiti-Carmel Maharaj-Best, MD intercepted my messages and called the police. She made the baseless claim that I was delusional and required immediate psychiatric evaluation, and according to my medical records, she lied to the police in regards to certain statements I made. The police visited me at my residence and I had no say in being transported to Johnson Memorial Hospital where I was committed to the psych ward. I was discharged after the psychiatric team was unable to corroborate the medical opinion of Dr. Best.After being discharged, I called PPSNE to request my medical records and they called the police AGAIN. This time, I received a call from Manchester PD that PPSNE had requested a protective order. In the following days, I received a notice of being terminated as a patient at all Planned Parenthood offices. Manchester PD had to mediate the electronic delivery of my medical records through MyChart. When I received a message with the attachment of my medical records, I responded by confirming whether or not the MyChart messages to and from the provider were supposed to be included in the records. In responding to a message that they had themselves sent me, PPSNE called the police again and now I had been served a warrant for my arrest. I talked myself out of the warrant after making a personal call to the chief of police, and shortly thereafter I discovered that PPSNE had revoked my access to My Chart and accordingly the messages between myself and the provider where ostensibly the provider NP Sterling had initially acknowledged the injury.I wouldnt be surprised if they call the police when they see this review. But PLEASE BE ADVISED do not seek medical services at PPSNE of Manchester. If they cause you injury and you go to seek a formal diagnosis, no other medical professionals will want to touch you with a 10 ft. pole. And if you personally appeal to them for help, they will call the police on you and the police will unequivocally do their bidding, because Planned Parenthood is above the law.

Dr. Alexandra did not care at all, spoke over me the entire time, and did not take a single one of my concerns seriously.

Came here to have my IUD, with invisible strings, removed, after my doctor gave me a gyn referral with 5-6 months wait time. Jennifer was so kind and patient, reassuring me through the entire process that it would be okay and they’d be able to get it out without issues. And she was correct, I walked out less than an hour later, without my IUD. Can’t recommend their services enough.

Wouldn’t take me because I was 4 minutes after the 10 minute grace period after my scheduled appointment. This appointment was very important as I’m already 7 weeks. There was NO ONE in the waiting room. And a PA or a nurse came to the desk from the back and the receptionist mumbled “could you take her she’s after the grace period?” And the girl shook her head no. They made me reschedule. The staff was not bubbly and considerate of what I was going through and couldn’t squeeze me in, again there was no one in the waiting room. This was an important appointment and they clearly forget that some people have other things going on in there life that makes them late the appointment. I dreaded this appointment regardless so maybe it was gods way of planning a new route for me🙏🏼 Needless to say, I will not be coming back to PP in Manchester.

Brianne was great. She took me in without an appointment after seeing I was in distress and was super quick. She made me flyer l comfortable and like I wasnt being judged. Couldnt thank her enough. She is truly amazing.

Terrible. I called them for an appointment and told them exactly why I was coming in and they confirmed for me to come in at 10:30. Didn’t take me until 40 minutes later and didn’t even provide me with the care they were supposed to! Instead they sent me off to my OB for something they could’ve handled

What a great experience from start to finish. This was my first time ever using Planned Parenthoods services (general STD screening). Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and non-judgmental. I felt very comfortable the whole time. High quality services! Would definitely go back again if I ever needed to.

I had my first visit to Planned Parenthood last week. The new facility at 319 Main St is absolutely beautiful. The atmosphere is very inviting and spacious. However, as nice as the space is, it is the staff that will make your experience the best youve ever had at a doctors office. Everyone from the receptionist to the nurses were exceptional. I was met with kindness and professionalism. I would recommend Planned Parenthood and this facility to everyone. Thank you for such a great experience!

The best PP office i’ve been to, but also the best place i’ve ever gotten reproductive health services! They are all so compassionate and kind, as well as extremely professional and experienced. Thank you for the impeccable care you’ve provided!

This is the second year in a row that I’ve come here for a simple annual exam. Almost everyone is amazing, kind, welcoming, genuine, caring, and friendly here. The staff really puts a smile on my face and are extremely helpful and thorough with any questions or concerns I have had. Dr. Jennifer Love is such an amazing individual. Will 100% be coming here for any feminine needs in the future.

Let me just say that I am BLOWN away with the top notch customer service I have received today.To be transparent, I have done general screening testing many times; and have even tried avoiding it due to the judgement or negative energy I have received in the past.This was NOT the case at planned parenthood in Manchester!From the moment I stepped in I was greeted by a lovely lady named Kyro! Super sweet and kind.I then got called in by a woman named Katelyn and Stephanie, and both ladies were a power team together!Stephanie explained the process so thoroughly and all with a smile. Katelyn drew my blood and finished the process with also nothing but positive vibes!No JUDGMENT AT ALL.I felt so welcomed and comfortable. I almost couldn’t believe this experience as I walked out!My heart was overflooded with pure relief and joy!I will be recommending this planned parenthood to EVERYONE that I know!Thank you ladies so much! :)

The people who work there are very nice, helpful and make you feel comfortable. I couldnt find an obgyn that would take me any time soon because of covid, and they took me the same week I called, so great service too.

I ran out of my birth control earlier than I thought I would. I made an appointment as early as possible and they were kind enough to send in a prescription to tide me over until then. Ive been going to this place for years and theyve always been so kind and professional!

This clinic is a wonderful place. People who think otherwise, have never been here.I was elated to be able to come to PP when I was in my 20s for my WOMANS HEALTHCARE needs and cancer screenings.I saw many older teens, there for STDs and birth control.They are affordable and many people are billed on a sliding scale.This is not an abortion clinic, and the places that do have that, counsel those who are contemplating this, about other ways.One day, you may find yourself needing them, when your insurance no longer covers PAP smears.That is what happened to me and I have (2) sources of health insurance.

Cool place but I have to jump through HURDLES just to get my birth control that’s supposed to be delivered to me but never comes. And i cannot figure out how to talk to an actual person at a desk instead of an automated voicemail.:(

They alienate men and make it difficult for us to be here for a partner make us leave and consistently look down upon fathers who actually show up.

The hours say opens at 830 am its 930 am I have tried to call and get no answers no call center no voice mail. Also called at 630 on a Thursday no answer glad I didnt just show up.
