Came here for our 10 month baby as we were visiting out of state and they wouldn’t take our insurance so we paid out of pocket. They did see us urgently which was very nice but the nurse couldn’t get a reading and kept pushing the temp in his ear. He was really not doing well and it was making him extremely uncomfortable, they need to work on distracting the baby or something! Since we paid out of pocket and had no tests done then the bill should have been closed after our payment. But surprise surprise they did not do apply what was needed and I get statement stating I owe an additional $455, for what?? I called up but you can’t get hold of the actual locations which is really pathetic, so no point having phones on the desk at this point. The call center sorted it out but I wasted my time on this with a baby who needs my attention more. Why have incompetent people working at the desk if you simply can’t do the numbers and bill people wrong figures because you are more interested on being on social media.

Coming from someone who has experience managing an urgent care, if any of the front desk staff were anything like Jennifer at this facility, they wouldn’t have a job any longer. The lack of professionalism is one thing, but the lack of basic manners from her was disgusting. No one should be working in healthcare if they can’t speak to ill people with a bit more compassion. My mom went in my baby sister and she was speaking to her in the worst way. At my mom’s last visit, when the wait was very long, the front desk suggested that she could wait in the car if it was more comfortable and that she would be called when it was closer to her turn. So at this recent visit, she asked if that was a possibility. A simple, reasonable question, right? Jennifer, the most welcoming receptionist this place could find to hire retorts with obvious annoyance, “you can wait where you want but I might forget to call you”. I have trained countless MAs and Receptionists at an Urgent Care where 200 pts a day have been seen. It can get busy, but none of the staff I’ve worked with have been so busy with their reception tasks that their memory was affected and they couldn’t call patients who chose to step away for a bit. Now my mom is a reasonable and very patient person, so she doesn’t complain to me unless theres a reason to complain. Next, she is asked for a copay. She just asks if she can pay after the visit like last time. This must’ve sent our receptionist Jennifer over the edge because she begins huffing and puffing, raising her voice, and says “what, do you not pay your copay when you go to your doctor? you have to pay a copay to be seen”.My mom has been an ED nurse for 18 years. She knows how insurance and copays work. She simply asked if the payment could be made after the visit, like she had done in the past in the same facility. Some comprehension skills from the receptionist’s side would have made the communication at the visit a lot easier. Of course, she pays the copay upfront, because it was not that big of a deal. When being seen, the provider realizes that my baby sister is a patient they had seen previously, and what we needed from this facility at that point didn’t even require a visit. We were aware of this, but chose to go in to make communication easier. The provider was apologetic and mentioned that Jennifer let him know that my mom was “complaining about the copay”. This was funny, because never has my mom been someone to complain about a mere 50 dollars. The provider offers to even cancel the visit and waive the copay for the inconvenience, but that was never a problem. The problem is that a visibly very sick woman comes in with her equally sick child and the staff that is supposed to be trained to be welcoming was quite the opposite. Now I’m not saying we must be constantly cheery and perky. I’ve definitely had my own bad days but that is never an excuse to forget how to speak to people. Jennifer is an embarrassment to an urgent care like this affiliated with such a bigger name and company.

Unfortunately, I can’t say that I had a great experience. The doctor that saw me was very dismissive and quickly diagnosed me without actually asking questions. She Misjudged my condition which ultimately led me to having to go to another doctor and then going to the hospital for treatment. The pediatrician that I encountered on this visit was absolutely amazing. She spent a lot of time helping me and my son understand his symptoms and just gave us some basic tips to help him feel better.

Came in at 9pm on a Saturday night and was out with 4 stitches by 11. The staff greeted me well and were quick to ask the PA if she’d be able to fix the slit I had in my lip from a pitbull bite.PA Raman stitched me up quickly and efficiently. She numbed me so I wouldn’t feel pain and communicated with me the entire time. I felt her patience and it helped me stay calm. The stitches are clean and I doubt I’ll have a scar. I’m really happy with the results. I attached a photo of my lip right after. It’s swollen but the bleeding stopped and the tissue was back home in my lips where they’re supposed to be.Everything was hygienic. I would definitely come back if I ever needed anything. Only regret I have is trusting a friend’s pitbull near my face.

While the doctors maintain a high level of professionalism, the behavior of the front desk staff leaves much to be desired. An incident occurred being on the phone and was asked to be put on hold, however the staff failed to do so and heard the staff laughing due to them unable to pronounce a patients last name. The front desk staff should demonstrate more professionalism and respect, particularly when handling sensitive matters such as test results.

I had a wonderful time from walk in to walk out! Everything was so easy! The staff was wonderful, kind, and caring. They took great care with me and more importantly took their time. Super grateful I was able to walk in and get what I needed to feel better as quickly as possible. Thank you to the entire staff for your kindness and compassion.

Dr chiu was an absolute doll, he was extremely thorough, kind, courteous & professional & has the BEST bed side manners I’ve ever seen! He did not rush like most other places. He literally saved my life with all the testing he did. Thank you for being such a caring doctor & making me feel so comfortable & not fearful. I would recommend him to anyone & he deserves 100 ⭐️

I have such a fear of dentists, but this visit was way beyond my expectations! Everyone was so friendly and eased my fear of the unknown visit I was about to have. Everyone from your front desk, to the nurse that took my vitals, right down to the doctor who took care of me.... extremely patient, understanding and helpful. I went to work immediately following my visit and told my coworkers that I highly recommend your new office!Thank you.

The pediatric doctor here has poor bedside manner. A little empathy for a sick child goes a long way. Youre better off either going to Cohens or the Hewlett location. I would not consider this a true pediatric urgent care.

Quickly I’ll start with saying I’ve never reviewed anywhere in my life. Besides waiting over an hour to be seen, the Doctor who saw me was dead set against prescribing any medication for a terrible cough. I went on to spread said cough to my wife who also went in, was told her “lungs were clear” more or less directed to target for over the counter medication. Just saw our pediatrician who thinks she may have walking pneumonia, I wouldnt go back to this practice for anything.

Excellent Experience. The staff was great, every one of them. I was taken right away, diagnosed, and sent on my way in no time.

My visit was a very positive experience. The staff was friendly, courteous and welcoming. The nurse and the PA were both very professional and demonstrate knowledge about my issue.

The team was very friendly and accommodating. My daughter was not feeling well and even though the check up and getting her temperature and checking her ears, my daughter wasnt a big fan, they were willing to work with us to distract my daughter with baby shark or a show on youtube and were able to get her vitals with no fuss. First time around when we came, they gave her a popsicle - pedialite.Thank you for your patience and help and assistance. Kept us updated when we could go into the room as well.

Clean facilities with fast service. Easy reservation and check in process. New go to urgent care for my family.

Brought my son in for an xray of his thumb. Asked for a copy of the xray to bring to the specialist and the disc was blank. The doctor here also didn’t stress how bad the break was. If I did not go for a second opinion my son would’ve co tinted to play sports in a thumb brace they put on that does nothing and it could’ve broke more and lead to potentially surgery. Pure negligence. Still waiting for a call back 3 days later from the office manager. I’ve called several times and no call back.

Very nice welcoming northwell facility -a large new space for two populations- adults and pediatrics-divided which is good but needs more staff as busier with two populations. Even with an appt i waited one hour. Seemed kids received priority.Once i got carr i was satisfied. The clinician did not introduce herself clearly. She did a history and physical. I left satisfied. Thank you

I would leave a 0 star review if I could. I am an ICU RN for northwell. I took my daughter in at 20:30 for severe ear pain after giving her benadryl Tylenol and Claritin with 101 fever. I was a walk in and the women at the front was nice enough to have us be seen. We waited for two hours which is expected at the evening hours. My daughter was clearly uncomfortable- her right ear was red and she had a cold- likely an ear infection or start of one. Pediatrician Lisa Thomas refused to proscribe her any antibiotics, stating she was on remediation with northwell… the kid left in tears and her only recommendation was Motrin. So let’s wait until my daughter is in unbearable pain to prescribe. Waste of a night and she should be ashamed of her practice. You go into medicine to help people not turn away a sick child.

Dr. Chiu and his MA were wonderful and helped me resolve my respiratory issue. Took his time with me and figured out the situation was in great hands. Thanks for helping me quickly and in a pinch.

Went this morning for a possible infection. Staff was super nice - Candace and Dr Herman C. I very much appreciated Drs clear explanation and the generous amount of time both he and Candace took to talk with me. I definitely recommend.

Made an appt online, check in process was easy, click of a button on the screen to show your here. The nurse and the provider that took care of me were amazing.

I received excellent care from the physician and the staff on Thursday for my urine track infection but on Sunday I when I tried to get my results the date was 08/25/24 at 11:50 am the woman at the front desk put her hand up like a guard said I should wait for the provider to talk too so not to embarrass myself I walked out of the office that is a rude sign I walked as a supervisor in a hospital over 80 people no one would ever dare to do such a thing to a patient doctor and any director. I give it 0ne star

I came in extreme sick and overwhelmed the front desk staff was extreme warm and helpful they helped me when i was throwing up my soul the doctor was extreme cautious and knowledgeable. Overall a great experience all things considered.

Wonderful Experience ! Was well taken care of from the moment I walked in. Warmly greeted by Mary at the desk then in almost no time was escorted to a treatment room where I met with PA RAMANJOT KAUR who kindly and professionally took care of my needs. I highly recommend Ms.Kaur and this facility.

It was a great experience! No lines. We just walked in and they took my son right away after registering him. The medical staffs are amazing!!! The doctor is very knowledgeable and helpful.

The clinician was very attentive and I felt I got a good diagnosis and treatment plan.Stacy, Faisal and Aliyah were all great.

The facility is clean. Nurse Christine is great. The doctor took her time explaining everything.

Loved coming here but after today i would not bring my kids again had me in a room 1 hr and 25 min and going on to 3 hrs and never registered me everyone that was here before left and i have to still wait. They put me in a room and have me waiting My child has a 102 fever this was so ridiculous the girl that checked me in needs more training she never registered me

Medical Assistant Chaz was great. I was feeling very poorly and he helped me to feel heard.

Both the Nurse and Dr helped to relax my son who was a bit panicked with the laceration in his head. The Dr gave us two options on how to close the laceration because she saw how scared he was. We went with the old option of twisting his hair and then gluing it to close the wound. It was painless and she kept asking him if he was ok. I am so grateful that the Dr knew this method so that he didnt have to get staples. She was a lifesaver and if he ever needs to go to an urgent care again this is where well be coming.

Even though I had to wait, the thoroughness and professionalism of the entire staff was much appreciated

Everyone is accommodating.Unfortunately when I was not feeling good they really took pride in helping me.The Drs. are great and the staff.I use this location if needed.I go to New Hyde Park, NY Lake success shopping center.I needed to go another time and every time I go there they’re just very lovely there and so accommodating.For me, it’s convenient with parking. It is so clean. Everyone is so nice

My son’s pediatrician had an emergency, unfortunately had to cancel but my son needed to be seen. I booked an appointment and when I walked in the first thing I notice was how clean it was and someone was going around wiping everything down besides that we got called into a room . The nurse was very helpful & understanding with my son who is vision impaired I really do appreciate people who take their time with special needs children. Later on the doctor came in and she was very polite went over all the information. There nurse took down & gave him a thorough check up, overall my experience there was phenomenal and I would definitely recommend anyone to go .

Long wait (30+ minutes) despite essentially empty waiting room and two physicians listed as on duty. I presented with what I recognized from previous experience to be an eye infection, but the doc I saw wanted to rule out a corneal scratch and the presence of a foreign object in my eye, which he did. So what about the itch and the watery discharge? All he could say was that maybe it will go away on its own. I would have made an appointment with my ophthalmologist, but it was the weekend. Essentially a waste of time.

I needed a doppler of my leg, i wish tgry could have done it in tgeir facility instead of making me go to thr nain hospital, but it was good thry made tge appointment for me. The PA never called me to discuss results though.

Yes, the office is very nice and clean. However, even if it looks seemingly empty, prepare to wait for hours. We came and signed in online and nobody so much as looked in our direction. No hello, welcome, or have a seat and well be with you shortly. Completely ignored.

Ive always Had a good experience with my visits. All the doctors are friendly and informative and knowledgeable.

Was here yesterday 10/13, was informed it would take be a very long wait. I would think this would have been an in and out situation like the pharmacies. I think they should start to implement this.

Very prompt and efficient check-in process. All staff : reception, technician/nurse and PA (provider) were highly professional, courteous, efficient and friendly. Even though it’s the Covid and Flu season, there was no excessive waiting. Patients were seen in an orderly, efficient and professional manner.Special thanks to Darryl Hercules PA.He is attentive, thorough, caring, has a gentle touch (had stitches removed )and a nice bedside manner. A very positive experience !!!!

I waited for 30 minutes while no patients came in or out. The front desk receptionist was rude and slow. The medical assistant seemed very new to her job and was slow as well. The PA seemed caring and knowledgeable but it’s 2 days later and my symptoms are worse and she prescribed me no medicine to relieve my symptoms. Soar throat cough and chest congestion.

Arrived here Friday evening with a bad earache and sinus pressure. After waiting close to 40 minutes in an empty front lobby I went up to the front desk to ask how much longer. The girl literally looked confused and said “oh you can go in room 3.” I entered and was greeted by another woman who seemed to be the medical assistant. She took my vitals and exited. I sat waiting for AN HOUR in the room. The room lights literally shut off 2x because I had been in there so long. I finally went out and asked how much longer as the waiting room was empty. Finally the Nurse Practitioner came in and did a quick exam. She told me my ears looked fine and it was probably an allergy related sinus infection. I again expressed how much discomfort I was in and my history of sinus problems. She told me to deal with it for 10 days and if it wasn’t better then come back. Well, two days later I almost went to the ER with the pain I felt. After seeing another doctor I found out I had a severe ear infection which required antibiotics. I’m also 5 months pregnant and very upset because the pain and suffering could have easily been avoided if I was listened to the first time. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!

Feeling ill, I was seen quickly by the doctor and was happy that a chest xray was taken to rule out pneumonia.

I had a sudden, Unexpected visit to GoHealth Urgent Care in Lake Success and was met by a professional and empathetic staff. The facility is neat and clean. The physician was engaged and attentive.

I came here yesterday after work because I seriously was not feeling well. I had a really bad sore throat. I started having the chills, I knew I had a fever. All I wanted was a Covid, flu and strep test. The front of the facility says walk-ins and appointments, so I walked in and I expected a little bit of a wait time it wasn’t even that packed. I go to the front desk and off the bat, The receptionist was a bit rude. I was already feeling stressed and upset because it was Christmas Eve and I just wanted to be seen but she told me that their were other patients ahead of me and if they showed up, I would be seen in an hour and 30 minutes for me to be seen by a physician. I got tears in my eyes because I wasn’t feeling well and the front of the facility says walk ins so I told her aren’t you guys are walk in facility she said yes, but we honor appointments made in advance. She told me to go to the iPad and click on the link that was sent to my phone while I was sitting down I made appointment for excel healthcare on Hillside and Lakeville Road who took me in ASAP and treated me well moral of the story is do not think about coming here go to Excel.

Two people saw me Saturday...first a young man and then a young woman. Assume both doctors. Anyway they were terrific. I loved talking to them. Quick, and honest healthcare. Also the place is spotless. I recommend for all ages.

Ridiculous service. Couldn’t give an estimate when walked in, which whatever. Told them I just needed a Covid test. Waited an hour and then they decide to tell me when it’s my turn that they don’t cover tests anymore and would be part of the copay. Terrible service to not be up front with a change like that when initially speaking with them. Would avoid this location.

I’m only leaving one star bc otherwise I cannot post! There should be a mechanism to deduct stars!WORST experience ever. My son had an Had appointments at 6:30 was not taken until 8:30 only to be seen by PA bc the doctor leaves at 8.Terrible sinus pressure and discharge - ear ache- headache- only to be told by PA to take a sinus spray and stay home to not go to family gatherings!!!It is Dec 23!!!If you want to waste your time with incompetent people then go there. If you need medication bc you’re really sick - SKIP THIS PLACE!!!!

Visited the Urgent Care. During sign up they asked for my insurance, literal pictures of my insurance card, both front and back, then proceeded to bill me instead of my insurance. I spoke with the billing department when I called up to rectify this issue, which they said it will be fixed and still hasn’t been corrected yet.

Staff and doctor was amazing. Very professional, doctor went above and beyond. One of the best doctors I have ever met.

The level of professionalism was evident. They were communicating with each every step of the way. They really took my health and wellbeing seriously.

There is no way to speak to somebody at the actual urgent care center. Just a rambling long recorded message with no option to speak to a live person. ZERO STARS.
