I came in for a second time in 10 days. The saw the doctor and he really listened to me. I had a chest Xray done with multiple medications that have helped significantly! I feel so much better. And now I have an actual inhaler for my asthma
The facility is very clean and the staff very friendly and professional. The wait time was extremely reasonable. The doctor took his time and was very personable. I will definitely use them again. Thank you.
On Tuesday, November 19th; I arrived at Go Health Urgent Care, located at the New London Mall, early for my appointment. Although it was a busy day; and I had about a 45-minute wait for my appointment, I found the environment to be pleasant, calm, and soothing. Just inside the front door was a comfortable seating area, with large sunny windows, facing the mall stores and lot. The staff members were all calm and professional. They are all young and good at their jobs. I am thankful to the medical assistant who took my vitals. And I am very appreciative of the young P.A. Leanna, who was very pleasant and concerned. She took the time that I needed and was very supportive. I appreciate the diagnosis of arthritis. Im thankful that it wasnt anything worse. It was worth it, for me to take the time, to have my condition checked.
There are always appointments available online for the same day. Its easy to make your appointment online. If youre signed up for My Chart Plus, go Health has got all your info. The staff at New London is super. They are very thorough and take very good care of their patients. if I wasnt able to drive my wife to the emergency room, they were gonna call for an ambulance. I could drive so they called ahead and emergency emergency room was ready when we got there. Who could ask for more I would 110% recommend anyone in need of care to go there especially if you havent been able to establish a visit with a primary care in the area due to the wait times to get an appointment!!We were new to Connecticut and the earliest we could get an appointment with the primary care is February 2025. So New London, Urgent Care was perfect for us. On a previous visit there They got us a referral to the chief of General surgery at Backus Hospital and we were seeing there three days later. Especially if you are who the area I highly recommend when you were in need of treatment that you go to Urgent Care in New London!!
The walk-in center is very much like my PCP since you cannot get an appointment for a primary care doctor as a new patient for a year in Connecticut… They are always welcoming. Theyre careful to review my last visit and update them on any changes… they ask why I am there and the purpose of my visit and they said about in a very focused manner to try to help… Each doctor there has been terrific same with the Support staff and the student medical team,… always helpful and caring….
I checked in electronically and waited 15 minutes for front desk to call (in a near empty room). Finally approached the desk and they said They had no record. Could she have looked around the room and noticed I hadnt been called? Absolutely. But once I was in the office, the care was stellar.
Saw me almost right away. Took my description of things and of possible solutions seriously. Did their own careful assessment and then proceeded with the treatment. Problem solved in time for Christmas. Thanks!
Hartford healthcare suddenly and without notice deleted all my lab results from their MyChartPlus app. last year. I used to choose Backus Hosp. as my go to hospital. No longer. I’m so disappointed in your lack of support.
The doctor was very condescending and dismissive of my sickness. I came in with a sever, multi-day headache that I described as a migraine. I tell the doctor about my symptoms, and then he lectures me about why I dont have a migraine (without explaining what a migraine actually is) and tells me Im doing a disservice to myself for not knowing the difference between a severe headache and a migraine. He then rudely orders me into different positions to check for pain. He finishes by telling me he will put in an order for meds without describing what the meds are and what theyll do for me and tells me Im finished and can leave. Overall, a very awful experience and I will not be returning.
The lady at the from desk was so pleasant her name was Jamelle.I was asked to sign something but the screen didnt show me what to sign. I wanted a print out instead. She couldnt find one, so Gina overheard the conversation and told me I just have to sign. She came off rude and aggressive. I told her I shouldnt sign something before reading. She then proceed to tell the office person that she shouldnt be bullied. As an asthma patient who couldnt catch her breath, they didnt seem such in a rush. Gina then continued to talk and I ignored her do to my breathing. She kept saying mam mam. Im like really. Sorry but Im a patient who cant breathe and your going to be rude to me. Gina said well you have a primary dr right. Im here for breathing issues not a physical. This is my first time here and very disappointed how they treat an asthma patient. You could be considerate when someone cant breathe. Then Gina asked for my name like she is going to make me wait even longer. So unprofessional! Maybe one day you will feel how I feel with my breathing. Its not fun!!!
Wonderful staff. They listened to me and provided great care. Quick and efficient office.
Doctor was very nice, listened to my concerns as well as to my expectations from this visit. I have used this Urgent Care before and have always been pleased with the results. I recommend it to my friends and family
I scheduled a virtual appointment and they never contacted me. They took my money in advance but never called. They dont have a person that answers the phone at the New London office you can only send a message. This is the first time using this urgent care and I am very disappointed. Tried to call corporate to report but it goes to voice mail. Apparently they dont have staff manning the phones. Very frustrating.
Making appointment online was easy as was the checkin process. Was positive for Covid but too late for medication. Did get prescription for cough which worked. Staff and Doctor were good
Great urgent care facility..very professional and pleasant nurses..Dr was great! Definitely recomend and very clean too!
The most incompetent group of staff. My 70 year old mother came in with a broken finger, and they told her they cannot check her in and she must use the kiosk which was not working. Not one other patient was there at this time, and they would not check her in.She left to go to Yale Urgent Care who is always attentive.
Saw me for no more than 15 minutes and gave some surface level diagnoses, but was able to provide aid which helped remedy my ailment. However, when billing came around, they billed my insurance company without consulting the price with me. They then made up an Company Policy excuse for not retracting a claim. They instead blamed my insurance company saying that the insurance company made the claim (which was false) so the claim that they gave my insurance company could not be adjudicated/fixed. On the bill, they also cited my appointment for 30 minutes, which was false. They also billed me the highest amount and billed me multiple weeks later through automatic payment which I did not sign up for. Id recommend going to another urgent care.
The facility is clean, and the wait time was good. I was seen and in my car within an hour. The staff was professional and caring.
Great medical team + care. Facility very nice. No waiting with a scheduled time made online. I would definitely go back!
While on vacation in Connecticut , I suddenly felt ill. All symptoms led to Covid. I tested positive on a home test. I called the Hartford clinic before they opened and was able to be placed in virtual waiting room. About 5 minutes after arrival I was seen and subsequently diagnosed with Covid. The NP prescribed medication for symptoms but due to my cardiac problems was unable to offer Paxlovid and explained thoroughly why I should contact my cardiologist. I was impressed with the entire experience. And am grateful for the attention they provided.
Very quick and the physician was very polite listen to what I had to say and check everything I asked her too and elaborated everything that was going on
This branch is great. Great attention to detail and care of the patient by the whole staff. Excellent work by all.
Perfect go to when you’re not feeling well. Very professional and sincere. Excellent!
The on-line save my spot was easy to do and was a time saver. The receptionist was very empathetic to my situation. After check-in, I was suffering from a condition where I needed the restroom; she ushered me in to the restroom right away. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and professional and the facility was clean.I would recommend this facility for any minor health care issues.
Everything was perfect. Wait time was minimal. Medical staffwas excellent and friendly.
I had a cough and a fever. Without listening to my chest they tell me I need to get a chest xray and that they didnt have an xray at their location, instead I should go to the ER.
Very quick facility. I was in and out in less than 30 mins. Was on vacation and was dealing with a health issue. I didnt have to stay for hours like some of the urgent cares back home. Also, Staff was very nice and thorough.
Great staff , not a long wait. The Dr. was knowledgeable and informative.Feeling better already!
I received excellent care at the HHUrgent care facility in Waterford CT. The doctor that treated me was very professional and competent.
Anytime I have gone, every single staff member has been friendly and I feel truly listens to your symptoms with interest and youre not being dismissed or rushed off.
The nurse and nurse practitioner treated me like I was a child and wouldn’t let me finish my sentences. I was trying to explain my symptoms and they interrupted, telling me it was “just a cold”. It may have been but I felt dismissed and unimportant in addressing my health concerns. I would NEVER recommend this location and would encourage others to go to the ER rather than this Urgent Care. Hopefully, there are other options where treat you as a human and as worthy of their care and attention, rather than a nuisance.
The staff was kind and compassionate, and they offered me exactly what I needed to find relief from the painful condition I was in. Thank you all *so* much for your help. I am grateful.
Things went very well at my appointment . I received the meds that I needed. The visit was quick.
All staff friendly, the online appt was easy and the treatment was excellent! Thank you all
I felt very dismissed and the doctor was very condescending towards me. I had a cold that plugged up both ears and was trying to explain how I felt explaining that I thought my recent flight may have pushed congestion up into my sinuses. He asked if I was a medical expert. Going to my regular doctor later I have now been given an antibiotic for double ear infections and steroid to help with swelling of my eustachian tubes.
Great experience. Diagnosed quickly and got a prescription too. Recommend making an appointment if possible.
Made my appointment time online (they do walk ins also) I was greeted warmly by staff on an early very cold Sunday morning. Wonderful experience. My visit ran on time, I had a caring PA and then a doctor who addressed my needs and questions. Dr. Dinwoodie and staff are terrific. Modern, clean facility. Perfect for when I cannot be seen by my my Hartford Healthcare PCP
Staff was kind, sensitive to my situation and knowledgeable. Location is convenient. Short wait. Nice facility.
Dr. Hartmut Doerwadlt was wonderful. His knowledgeability was impressive, and he was genuinely kind in making his explanations approachable to me.
Honestly do your self a favor and only see the APRN(Katelyn I believe), not the old Doctor that should honestly do the general public and the world of medicine a favor by retiring. This is what I mean, my husband got sick, let’s say 3 weeks ago. Within three days my children were sick too. My children (I took them to their pediatrician and they tested negative for Covid, strep, mono, nothing all negative.) A week goes by and I get sick. I look down my throat and my tonsils are inflamed, Swollen, and covered in puss. I make ann appointment and come in to the urgent care and see Katelyn, She tests me for strep and Mono. Negative. She gives me antibiotics, I bring my husband an hour later. We both get antibiotics. A 10 day course goes by, we are feeling great. Our throats are back to normal and we are no longer sick. However, my poor children, still sick. I bring them in, and when I tried to explain to the “Doctor”what was going on, he literally cut me off. He essentially was trying to get us out of there as quickly as possible. I tried to explain to him that their pediatrician told me that a virus can last 10-14 days. My children where going on more than 2 weeks. I tried explaining to him that their pediatrician told us they should be at the end of the virus. Instead my children are getting worse and in the most condescending voice he said “they just need continuous care at home. I’m not prescribing them antibiotics.” Well, okay I’m not here for antibioticss. What I REALLY want is for my children to feel better. I brought them home and my children continued to get worse. I told my husband “listen, the doctors out in this area are completely useless let’s go back to our area of CT (Central CT) and go to Yale. We take our babies to Yale and right away, they see what’s wrong. My babies throats are inflamed, swollen and one of them had puss. Yale helped my children, and the doctor sat with us and took his time with our us and seeing our children. If he can’t keep up with the times, and act in patients interest it doesn’t matter what big names you’ve worked for. You as a provider have failed not only yourself, but your patient. Our experience has been awful as we are the one who are experiencing our love ones, our children, going through sickness and then to be ignored.
Everyone was pleasant and friendly. No issues, drama or rudeness. I went there after my daughter had a sick visit there and told me how her visit went. They all made the appt better. As sick as I felt, I left feeling better from the experience of caring, calm and knowledgeable staff. I will recommend them to my friends and family. Thank you for the opportunity to share my experience. Sadly, its not the norm these days. Thank you again. 😊
Fast Easy checking no waiting for InsuranceAlready done in the website step by stepBefore your appointment. Doctors, Pa, nurses assistant are very formatives. Get the job done in a good manner. Excellent
Loud music playing and they are super slow. Don’t stick to their appointment times. Staff spends more time on their phones and computers than with patients.
The doctor was easy to talk to. He was a good listener and very thorough. He took his time looking thru my chart to determine which medicine he should prescribe because there are many meds I cannot take. I would definitely recommend him... As for the UCC itself, it is comfortable, clean, well- managed and welcoming.
I always have a good experience with HHC in New London. They are all professional, helpful, kind, and efficient.
Doctor Dinwoodie and the Medical assistant Dimitri took exceptional care of me and addressed all my concerns.
The team of personnel was welcoming, kind, and made me feel at ease from my arrival to my departure.
Best urgent care Ive ever been to. Doctor was thorough but concise and terse, staff was kind and informative about the process even though they were busy. Can either wait or they will give you a time to come back, and if there are openings they will inform you. Facility is clean and modern. Go here if you are in the area and need urgent care. Thank you to the doctor and staff!
I just received a bill for 375. First time visiting and when I presented my insurance cards at check-in reception said NOTHING about not accepting Anthem. I found out later in a Google search. It might have been in the fine print-but I think you should be responsible for being completely transparent. I spent less than 10 minutes seeing an APRN who removed a tick and gave me two doxycycline. I am being billed for 44 minutes-most of it wait time. What you are doing is TOTALLY deceptive. I would have walked out without treatment if you were upfront at check-in. Not only will I pursue all means of contesting this bill-I will not return and make a point to tell anyone who asks for an urgent care rec. to avoid you.
The facility was clean and up to date. The nurses were very friendly and helpful and the treatment I received from the doctor was excellent. Time in and out was less than an hour. Overall your facility is one of the best Ive ever visited, and I have been in quite a few over the years for myself as well as friends and family. Thank you!!!
The medical assistant that saw me was so incredibly personable and professional. I wish Id gotten her name. She did share that she was originally from Puerto Rico. She was efficient and prompt. I you read these reviews, that MA deserves a raise. The doctor came in very quickly and was likewise very friendly and through. I was seated very quickly. Good job 👏
Chris the assistant was so nice. The physician was also really helpful. The check in receptionist was also very helpful and kind. Its a clean place and I didnt have to wait.
One of the worst visits I’ve ever experienced with a HHC facility. The receptionist/intake woman was INCREDIBLY rude and condescending. She was sarcastic and snarky with her comments and at one point my husband and I looked at each other kind of in shock as it’s not very often you receive horrible customer service like we did with her. We don’t typically complain, but this lady was horrible. In fact, when my young daughter asked “how do I know if somebody is in the bathroom?”, she replied “You knock…” in her sarcastic tone. I get it, yes it is obvious to an adult that we should knock, but she made my daughter feel like a complete idiot and it was just plain rude. Then we finally got back to the room and waited a long time (which we understand since it is a busy time of the year for sick visits). So that wasn’t an issue. The doctor (an older male) came in and looked at our daughter’s eyes and asked what was going on. I mentioned that they woke up with goopy eyes and that I assume it’s pink eye based on the fact that 3 of us have it. He glanced quickly at her eye and said “Who is the mom here? You? (As if there was anybody else it could have been) Do you see any pink in her eye?” I said no, it isn’t right now, but it’s very crusty. “So it’s not pink eye.” Ummmm ok. I can count numerous times that my children have had pink eye and their eyes weren’t blood shot every one of those times. So now I have to deal with their school and the kids most likely being sent home again tomorrow because of their “not pink eye” eyes.Lastly, flu shot time. Very impatient and not at all empathetic towards the children. I asked him if there is a way we should hold the 3 year old to help, and he looked at me and shrugged, then proceeded to jab her in the arm while she screamed. Obviously kids don’t like shots so I didn’t expect her to be smiling through it, but this experience made it so much worse for them. As we were leaving, I asked if there was something I would be able to show the school to show that the dr said they do not have pink eye. Once again received a very rude, condescending response from the lady at the desk, “Yes that’s why I gave you access to MyChart…” I work in healthcare - I’m aware of MyChart. I was asking for a note for their school, not an after visit summary.I have been bringing my family to the HHC urgent care facilities for years. Never again after this visit. Go anywhere else but here.
There was an elderly man who fell across the street at Marshall’s. I ran over to get assistance and no one came over. I was told to call 911 after I ran over to get some help. Again, no one even cared enough to come help the man who was bleeding from his nose and clearly hurt. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Clearly, they won’t go above and beyond for people in need if it isn’t convenient to them. Disappointing.
Went to Urgent care needing a Tetnus shot as I accidentally cut my finger. Was told you need an appointment and we are booked. Okay, this is Urgent care?? This would be Urgent... do I need to call if I was in a car accident from the scene to make an appointment? This is the new face of health-care, great...... No suggestions on where to go just sent me out the door like, sucks to be you, Tetanus is painful and possibly deadly, good luck with that! Thankfully my local supermarket pharmacy of all places took care of me. I like HHC, but not this location, terrible for Urgent care.
I cannot say enough nice things about this group. We went in last night, very close to closing time. My daughter had a rock in her ear (dont ask). They were absolutely amazing and gracious, getting her in and taken care of quickly. The nurse entertained her with lollipops and stickers to put her mind at ease, and the doctor swiftly solved the problem. I am so very grateful for the whole experience! Also, its a beautiful facility and sparkling clean! Thank you thank you to the entire staff!!!! I would give them a million stars if I could!
I cannot say enough great things about this care center. Excellent staff -- as small as it is -- and very clean. The receptionist was both professional yet affable, even when a few walk-ins seemed to grow irate at having to wait. For those who do not know this, please do yourselves and the small staff a huge favor: book a time-slot appointment online (very easy to do); otherwise, upon just walking in, walk-ins have to wait til those with appointments are seen. EVERY doctor in the area it seems sends their patients to Urgent Care if they cannot squeeze them in (in office), and the situation isnt an emergency, so that Urgent Care -- especially later in the day -- sees a lot of patient traffic.
I was referred in for an electrical shock by nurse hotline . I have been on a submarine for over 7 years in the Navy. Every time someone gets an electric shock they need to go in to get monitored. This doctor asks me what happened and I told him. He said normally they don’t do anything for small electric shocks and that nowhere in the country do they monitor for small house electrical shocks. I said normally in the navy and at navy medical center they monitor after electrical shocks. He asked who sent me and I said I was referred by nurse advice hotline. He said they have an EKG but it’s only a 3 second lapse so it won’t do anything. He sounded hostile asking questions and I said you know what it’s fine, I’ll just call them back, I’m going to leave. My significant other was a Navy Electrician for 13 years and he also agreed that they send you right away if you are active military.
This place is the worst, I went in with my 6 year old child extremely sick. For some reason my insurance was not working so I was told I would have to pay 120$ for the visit and if I couldn’t pay they couldn’t see me. I agreed to pay, once in the room the doctors comes in and doesn’t even touch my child. He first asked the nurse if she did a COVID test and the nurse said “no, they are self pay “. The doctor continued by telling me that I would have to pay for a COVID test and a streptococcus test. I asked the doctor the cost and he said he didn’t know. So, I agreed to the streptococcus test. In the mean while, this doctor didn’t even touched my son, didn’t listen to his chest or even his ears. At this point, i am super annoyed ! So, I asked the doctor “ can you at lest check his ears just to make sure if doesn’t have an ear infection? “ he replies by “ sure, I guess “. So then I asked him, “ so if I did not have the money you would not have seen my child to which he replied “ this is like a restaurant, if you don’t pay, you don’t eat”. He was extremely rude. Can’t believe he is comparing a child’s health to food. I was stunned, what kind of doctor will make comment like that.
Had contact dermititus that I couldnt shake with Lotrimin AF. Made an appointment with the Frontage road location, filled out my paperwork online and was in and out in 20 minutes with my scripts. This is how health care should be.
APRN Taryn Bishop & the staff at HHC GO URGENT CARE in New London are EXCELLENT! Easy, online appointment made, & caring & informative staff. After diagnosis, Ms. Bishop suggested an antibiotic & a cough medication for my chest condition, which improved immediately! Feeling so much better! Thank you, Taryn, &HHC GO URGENT CARE!Frederick SpindlerOld Lyme
Front desk here illegally signs you up for autopay without telling you. Do not sign the little signature window without getting an explanation. Theyre not telling you they can pull 250 from you which is illegal. Reporting to attorney general.
The APRN and all the staff were very attentive and proactive. They did not mess around and after all was done to be safe recommended a trip to the ER. Everything was explained fully and I felt seen & heard.
Fast, friendly and kind provider and staff. Clean, convenient and close to home. I rather go there instead of spending two hour in the ER.9/19/18 This is my second review and time using their services. I was at work that Sun not feeling well and since they are across the parking lot I decided to try them again. At the time of my visit the receptionist/assistant was very friendly and kind. The provider Meghan is very proficient in making sure she understood my concerns about my visit that day. I was comfortable speaking to her about my illness. She listened and I didnt feel rushed. She ordered some labs to be done and called me back two days later with my results and to check up to see how I was feeling. Thank you! Ive also taken my two daughters here in the past and have no complaints. They are awesome! Highly recommend if you dont have an emergency and cant get a quick appointment with your PCP. This is the place to go!
From when I walked in till I left I felt welcomed and treated like a person, which doesnt always happen at walk-ins or ER. Getting the spot online made it all the easier too.
The staff was seriously incredible! Im a military wife and I meet new doctors everywhere we go. This is the BEST experience I have ever had at an urgent care! Thank you so much for taking care of me. My doctor was soooo kind and has excellent bedside manner. My nurse was so personable and made me feel like I have known her for years! If anything scary happens in the future, I will be going here! :)
Took tests on me, sent to lab, they would call with results, never called back. When I called for results I was told I would have to come back and have another visit charge. I went to my primary instead and he also told me to be careful of these places.
Friendly, professional and caring staff. Thorough with my care. Two thumbs up!
I had a very positive visit. The lady at the desk where you first walk in was extremely courteous, professional and helpful. She was very polite, and to everyone that I saw entering the facility after me. I can not say enough kind words about her. The doctor I saw that day was just as nice, professional and helpful. I read a few negative reviews on here, but in my experience, I could not have had a better visit. Thank you to the doctor, and a big thank you to the lady at the desk for making my 1st visit there very pleasant!
Easy and quick to set up an appointment, lots of slots available at a time that worked for me, and the staff were all very helpful.
This place is ridiculous. They dont offer many services and are probably going to send you elsewhere after they see you. Even with insurance (Cigna) or otherwise they require a credit or debit card before you can be seen. Youre better off going to Community Health Center or Pequot Medical.
I was very impressed by my first visit to this urgent care clinic, which was over a holiday weekend. Its a beautiful facility. The staff were all very friendly and efficient. You can check in online, which shortens wait time once you arrive. The prescribed treatment was very effective. I was also impressed that they called a few days later to see how I was doing. I would definitely recommend this facility and I would not hesitate to return there myself.
Providers are thorough professional and friendly. Most of desk Staff lack warmth, very monotone, just the facts nothing but the facts, but the job gets done and you only spend a minute or two with them. Taking care of in a timely and quick manner, the providers do not make you feel rushed through the process. They listen and are attentive. I always go here when I am short on time, you can make an appointment and you can be seen very close to the time of your appointment instead of waiting 30 to 45 minutes to even see a provider.
I am greatly satisfied with the high level of service, care and concern. Dr Chandrasekaran and her entire staff are the best! From the Dr carefully explaining my treatment plan with focus on how I am feeling rather than all numbers and statistics. The nurse and reception staff are cordial and flexible to my work schedule. Great Job by all! Have a great week! Sincerely, Tony Sutton
Everyone i interacted with was so kind and patient. i spent an hour in the parking lot trying to come in due to severe anxiety but the pain i was having was unbearable so i went in and when i started crying the medical assistant was very understanding and so sweet and when the dr came in he was very patient and kind and apologized for the wait when i was leaving, then thanked ME for being patient. please remember on the hard days when it seems like it will never end and every patient is testing your nerves, someone appreciates you and a simple smile or kind word could be life changing for someone. thank you all so very much, you are so great!!
Visiting from out of town and got sinus infection. Made an appt online, arrived 30 min later and was immediately seen. Staff was very friendly and they called in prescription. Time from making appt until I had prescription was 90 min. Super easy and convenient.
Charged me 400 to Send me to another office for a chest Xray. A doctor coming into the office to listen to your chest and send you somewhere shouldnt cost 400 dollars. The chest Xray was 94 Dollars and total bill 494.00... This is the problem with our world today!
The Dr was good made sure he listened to my complaints sympathetically!!
There should be some type of privacy glass so you cannot hear the doctor & nurse/MA discuss a difficult patient when others can hear. It makes you wonder if they speak that way about me or other patients. The front desk associate could me much more pleasant while checking people in. Being an HHC employee, I know what is expected, and these things should be addressed. No one was rude or mean, just could have been more professional and friendlier. Reserving a time slot for patients is an excellent feature!
Clean environment, masks available at entry, and a very courteous , and friendly staff.Having a time set aside was a plus for someone like myself.Online pt intake was a timesaver as well👍🏼
Excellent customer service! Quality medical care!
I thought the nurses, doctors and office staff were very kind and professional.
My experience was good the staff there was very nice. and respectful
Firstly, this was not my first visit here since the pandemic. I just want to thank the ladies (as Ive only seen ladies) in this office for their work ethic and professionalism. The woman at the front desk with the curly hair, Ive interacted with on each occasion and she is SO efficient, friendly and wastes not even a second greeting you when you walk in even though shes answering phones, etc. Both the PA and nurse that I saw on this visit and my first were so helpful answered all of my questions and quelled concerns, as I was there for covid testing. What I want to clearly communicate to the staff here is how much I appreciate being treated with kindness and respect even though its clear how busy how you are and how much responsibility you carry. Many, many thanks! 🙏🏽🥂
The entire staff from reception, intake and doctor was handled very professionally yet friendly. Even the staff that werent working with us were friendly and helpful. The diagnosis was concise and treatment explained in an understandable manner.
I had to take my baby here Sunday December 5th and I would not recommend to any one. The receptionist was an older lady and she was so rude. She looked so annoyed just as I was walking in. Her facial expression you could tell she did not want to be there AT ALL and did not want patients. She said “Yes?” When I walked up and I told her I was here for my son. She said she needed ID and insurance. No greeting besides asking me for that, no smile the whole time i was there, very very unfriendly. I had my sons health insurance number but not the actual card. I told her this and she was super annoyed. The urgent care in Norwich was super okay with using the heath insurance number so I’m not sure why this bothered her so much. However, I did have somebody bring his insurance card. I do understand her being annoyed I did not have what she wanted, but her whole experience she gave me before that was so negative. When I brought it up to her, her mood did not change. She was still very annoyed and unpleasant. While I had my sick baby this is not the service we should have received. I am in disbelief. However, the doctor and nurse did take us in very fast, so they did GREAT with timing. Altogether, I would not recommend taking a baby here ever. I will not ever be returning as well.
Its very clean, the staff was very caring and considering the amount of patients, they were pretty quick taking care of us. Staff really made me feel at ease regardless of the pain I was in.
The absolute #1 Best Urgent Care Clinic in New London County!!!
Arriving at the sight promptly at 8:09 am I was told to wait in my car and it would be about a hour till I got a text alerting me to go in. It is not 10:12 currently, I still have not been seen and it was made very clear I was forgotten about. I called the center after a hour and 45 in the parking lot to be told to come in, which further proves they were taking additional walk ins prior to me being seen. After I’ve sat in the lobby for another 30 minutes two guests have been taken prior to me and the one that Most recently checked in was told the wait would be very short as there’s only 3 people in front of them. I was not bumped up on the waiting list after having waited 2 hours and 30 minutes, I have not been shown any kind of sympathy or respect, nor have I been given anything to assist in my further discomfort. Not to mention, I am a Hartford healthcare employee and made that clear upon arrival where my care was clearly not made urgent or prioritized. At this point I am still waiting in the lobby while all employees eyes clearly avoid my own.
It was so efficient! We booked a time and when we arrived we were called immediately. We were seen in the room without delay. Each service was provided quickly and professionally. We were in and out in 30 minutes. 😀
The black gentleman who sometimes works as a receptionist has horrible bedside manner— his attitude reeks. When I asked him if his day was going OK because his attitude was so bad, he told me everything was fine so then I was stumped as to why he was treating me with such disrespect. I then let him know that his bedside manner wasn’t up to par and that his customer service wasn’t very nice. He then asks me “how” is bedside manner/attitude wasn’t satisfactory instead of apologizing. I have worked in customer service all my life and I know enough to reassure a customer that I apologize if I have offended them in any way shape or form. Instead this man tried to belittle me and tried to be argumentative with me. His attitude all around was just very displeasing… something needs to be done about it.
Go-Health Urgent care has an amazing staff! Very professional and kind. I had no wait time and the medical assistant was very knowledgeable and sweet. My PA was professional and to the point, and also had a sense of humor! The office is always clean when I come in. Highly recommend Go-Health!
Every time i come to this clinic the process is efficient, the building is clean, people are professional and exercise safety practices. All are friendly, understanding and supportive. They are always there for you.
After being diagnosed with thr flu last week and treated with upmost care and support I unfortunately got even worse and went back today. Same exact level of compassion and care. While this time I had to drag along my toddler the nurses were smitten by her and helped me out while I needed a breathing treatment, showering her in stickers to keep her occupied. Highly recommend!
I brought my mom here on Sunday 11/22/20 at 3:00 pm for vague COVID symptoms. I couldn’t get an appointment on line but when I went in Terry the receptionist said to bring my mom inside. Terry then quickly and kindly got us checked in. We only had to wait a short time then my mom was seen by the nurse who explained about the testing and walked her through the testing procedure. Her results came back in less than ten minutes which were given to us by the APRN with her instructions to come back again for testing if her symptoms continued over the next 2 days. In general, it was a quick experience with efficient and kind staff from start to finish!
This is a great urgent care center! I generally don’t write reviews but the staff here were all awesome. I went there the other day and all of the ladies were very thorough, efficient and very professional. I couldn’t have asked for a better staff to help me feel better. The facility was very clean and had up to date Technology. The nurse and RN had excellent bedside manner which is often hard to come by. I would highly recommend this center!
I made an appointment and still had to wait for an hour and 45 minutes, with my energetic toddler. All I needed was a PCR covid test so my son could go back to daycare but I have yet to receive my results, 8 days later. My UnitedHealthcare insurance was not recognized by their system so I had to pay out of pocket and submit for reimbursement. This has never happened to me before and my insurance is active. Literally, this was the worst urgent care experience I have ever had.
Front staff was fine for me, but the doctor who saw me wasn’t very attentive and was a bit dismissive. A very expensive 5 minutes. I’m not sure what makes this urgent care center different from the Physician One urgent care center in Groton besides the company name, but this 5 minute appointment cost me $375. My much better visit at Physician One was over $200 less. Thought they were same company when I made this appointment. Won’t make that mistake again. Better service and apparently a lot less money for non emergency visits with my insurance.
Front desk was very friendly and helpful! Provider listened to me and actually cared. X-ray provider was also very kind! I made online appointment, when I arrived I was seen right on time. I wish all Dr offices could be like this!Roxanne
Upper management called and confirmed the employee. They also apologized for the unprofessionalism of their member. It was nice as a patient that everyone else she treated that way will not have the same encountersThe lady working at the front desk on oct 17 around 1030 was probably one of the rudest people Ive encountered. I was just here for an appt 2 days ago and had a really good experience where today the lady at the front was not kind, polite, or helpful. She didnt help answer questions, she wasnt helpful at all.
Brought my 2 year old in with a small laceration on her head, the bleeding had stopped but we were worried about leaving it open. The front desk person was not very friendly and was yelling back to the nurse, right in front of us, to ask if they were okay with treating her. The doctor came to the lobby to talk to us and said they would not treat, that she needed 4 stitches at the hospital. We went to the ER where they were able to close the wound with a single sterile strip, in and out in less than an hour. The refusal of treatment alone was fine, but not once did I feel like they actually wanted to help us. It felt like they were just trying to get us out the door. The two stars is simply for the doctor advising us without taking a co-pay.
I was seen last week for heart palpitations that I could not get to stop for almost 18 hours, and noticed I was getting short of breath with minimal activity and a bit dizzy. I do have anxiety and have had panic attacks a few times in my life but this lasted much longer and not even resting in bed and my medication was helping. I became increasingly worried about it possibly being a cardiac issue as my previous palpitations were never further investigated but did not feel it was urgent enough for the ER. I was worried about going there and not being listened too, so much so that upon arrival my hands were trembling. I didn’t want to sound silly or be embarrassed. The receptionist quickly noticed my symptoms and instantly got the on call nurse practitioner and got me in a room. I felt comfortable talking with them and they were very thorough and did an EKG and talked to me and even finally calmed me down enough to go from a heart rate of over 130 at arrival to a very normal 70. I quickly felt reassured it was just anxiety and after a normal EKG they even ran some blood tests just to be safe. I felt I was taken seriously and no judgement at all. The nurse practitioner, Kate-Lyn Birchell, was absolutely wonderful and easy to talk to about personal things. I hope management sees this and commends her for being such an asset to the clinic. I left an hour later feeling almost back to myself, and reassured I was indeed just anxious. I can’t say enough about how much I appreciated their compassionate care at a very scary moment.
Not a very long wait. Attentive staff and doctor
An excellent overall experience. Corina who took my vitals and administered my Covid test was awesome. Professional, sensitive with a very comforting way about her. Well done. The PA ( Elizabeth) who went over my test results was much the same. Very professional and thorough in her explanations and able to answer any and all my questions. Thank you both for your professionalism and caring sense !!!
Extremely rude front desk staff, she was barking out orders in an extremely condescending tone to all who entered. Then left for over 15 minutes while people were waiting in line, then called another patient and completely ignored the woman in front of her. Including yelling at seniors with complete disrespect. It was a very long and very crowded wait. Social distancing was not practiced here, hipaa violations all over. You will shout your address and personal info and ailments for all to hear. Your business will be spread through the room. There is no patient info on lab cups (juice cups) and are pretty unsanitary in general. The nurse was decent and quick as was the tech, but there was no point of scheduling an appointment since it was almost an hour after that I was finally seen. Pretty bad all around actually. I would recommend finding a better place to seek care if you are able.
I agree with all of the other 1 star reviews. Receptionist was extremely rude and condescending. There was an issue with my insurance and instead of being helpful and understanding she couldn’t wait to tell me to leave. I was already back in the patient room when she discovered the issue and instead of walking 6ft back to the room to discuss- she started screaming the nurses name, even he looked completely mortified by her behavior. I’ve had better experiences at an over crowed ER then at this completely empty urgent care. I would never go back there.
The wait time was reasonable and the physicians assistant was personable knowledgeable. I received very good care.
Very clean walk-in. Always a good experience when I come here. Never a long wait. I usually always schedule an appointment online on line if I need to come and I feel that gets me in quicker than if I didnt. Theyre always professional and courteous here. I get all my Covid-19 test done here(scheduling an appointment online for this is required).
Dr gave me his cell # in case antibiotic didnt work. I reluctantly texted him two days later when symptoms hadnt improved. Within five minutes doc responded and resolved the problem. My own primary care never responded at all. She is also HHC, btw.
Great service, very kind people. From registration (I used the online component) to the medical technician and on to the Nurse Practitioner, I was treated with dignity and respect. I received a thorough exam and I’d recommend this service to everyone!
The staff at the Hartford healthcare clinic was extremely nice and helpful! The doctor assigned to me was very knowledgeable and took her time! She listened and answered all my questions. For not feeling well it was a good experience!
Very satisfied with visit and ease of pre-registration. Minimal wait time. APRN was very pleasant her diagnosis was on point.
When I first arrived staff was very friendly and attentive. Clean facility. However, thats where I end my good remarks. Was told by Kate-Lyn (APRN) to wait 5 to 6 days to hear results for Covid. Right now at day 7, called in to check, Lisa who answered, she was able to see about whether my results were in, but they were not. Lisa was very kind and informed me that the lab my test was sent to is running behind, and NOW finding out that 7 to 8 days it may take. I understand that many are getting tested, because there are those showing symptoms, or even scarier, the ones who do not. Have been staying home, because for fear that should I be positive, would not want to spread to anyone. Also affected is my husband, his job has protocols in this realm as well, and my job too. Both our employers are need to know. I highly suggest that it should have been stated that the lab they send to is running behind, and tell others that 7 to perhaps 10 days is more realistic when to expect to see find out. To be more exact, it should not be stated for a possible 14 day quarantine, but rather 21 to 22 days being quarantined, because of waiting for the results first. Thank you Lisa again!
I was so relieved and happy to get such great care and a healthcare professional who was very skilled and capable. Also great bedside manners!
I will not be returning to this urgent care anytime soon. I came here for a Covid test for a procedure I will be having and the lady at the front desk was so miserable. I wasn’t sure if I was at the right place, she had such a negative attitude. You may want to rethink who you have placed at the front desk. But I do have to say the staff were wonderful. They were very pleasant to talk to.
We were in and out of there quickly. The doctor was amazing. He really took his time explaining everything to us...the place is very clean and everyone was super friendly....
Treatment and resolution were great. Staff was courteous, personable, and professional. Was lucky, though, that I walked in right when they opened, because walk-in slots for the whole day were all used up in less than an hour, largely due to Covid test traffic.
I had a very positive experience with go health in new london. Making an appointment was easy, the receptionist was pleasant and helpful, the medical assistant and provider were both thorough ,caring and professional. I got the care i needed promptly and efficiently.
I was able to walk in and receive medical care fairly quickly, the doctors and nurses were great and answered all my questions.
We were traveling from New Jersey to Rhode Island and my 2 year old suddenly took very ill. We found this this urgent care was close by(Amen Google!) and took him there. It was a Sunday evening and they were almost closing. The person who checked us in was super courteous and had a lot of empathy. Meghan was the name of RN who saw us and was so amazing with my son. She patiently heard us out and checked him and noticed that he had an ear infection. She prescribed the right antibiotics and also gave us a script in case the pharmacy was closed. It really helped that she caught it in time and the baby was feeling better pretty quickly. The urgent care is brand new and was super clean. While I hope nobody should ever have health problems but if you’re close to this place and Are looking to get checked up, I would totally recommend it!
I was very happy with my visit! The staff were all very nice and worked quickly. I scheduled my appointment 20 minutes before going in, and hardly waited at all to be seen. The facilities were clean, and the care was top notch.
I went here for a Covid test because my job referred me here. I do not have insurance until Feb 1st and I told the receptionist this. She said its not free here and its $200. But then when she ran my old insurance card and it didnt go through, she rudely said that will be $150. Debit or credit. She didnt treat me like a human being at all. Maybe the people behind the receptionist are better but she needs to learn how to be more sensitive to people who are coming in because THEY DO NOT FEEL WELLL. I will never come back here.
I couldnt be more disappointed. After going here and explaining my symptoms (severe back pain, vomiting, nausea) the doctor insisted that I was suffering from back spasms. I explained that I hadnt done any anything in the last week that couldve injured my back. I also expressed my concern over having a kidney infection or stones, stating that I have had multiple back injuries in the past and this pain was different from anything Ive felt before. I dont expect doctors to have a crystal ball and be able to diagnose every patient correctly on the first visit, however, not running any tests to even attempt to find a solution seems grossly negligent. Especially when the patient expresses concern about a specific issue. Anyway this story concludes with me going to an emergency room 10 hours later only to be diagnosed with kidney stones, the exact issue I had expressed concern for at this facility.
The experience there was positive. However, we never got our lab results back. We asked them multiple times and at each time they simply said that it was the lab responsibility and not theirs. I am sorry but I disagree. The lab may be responsible but you are too. It is the lab that you work with and you sent the specimen to them. So, at minimum, you are responsible to enquire/solicitate the lab about the test. I went there physically and they simply game me the number of the lab, which was obviously useless because you cant talk to anyone. To summarize, patient care good; customer care negligent. Update. Quest said that the specimen was given to them three days after it was collected. Nice!!!
This place is uncaring. I went due to my primary being out on vacation and after having symptoms of a preexisting condition. I knew what it was related to and needed blood work in order to then change my dose on my medication. I explained this to the nurse. I forget her name, an older blonde with short hair. And she rudely told me, why don’t you order the test yourself? Before I even spoke, my face was in shock after her reaction. How could someone be so uncaring? Her colleague stepped up, a young nurse and said, she can’t order labs herself, she needs an order from a physician and she just told you she has insurance. The older nurse then said, well you’ll just have to wait until the doctor sees you. As if I was asking for some special treatment.I never went back. I felt awful. I went home and sent a note to my naturopath who wrote me back the same day and sent me a lab order. I had to wait for Monday then to get blood drawn and guess if my medication dose had to remain the same. It turns out, after my tests results came back, I needed more meds. If only people are caring and actually listen we would have a better health system. I wouldn’t got to this place again. Especially if the same people are there.
Being able to pick a time for your appointment and get seen sooner is what made my visit go smoothly. Definitely recommend!
Long wait if you dont have an appointment. They give you an appt and send you on your way until hours later. Mine was booked online and still took well over an hour for a rapid covid test needed for surgery.
Came in and without even saying hi how are you the receptionist asked for my insurance card and Id. She didn’t even ask me what I was here for. I told her I was having a serious reaction to something and she ignored me and continued to worry about my insurance and Id. I cannot recommend this place at all.
I’m sorry to say that you guys are the worst health care center I’ve ever seen!!! You play with peoples lives without a blink. I still can’t believe that all those people including me, waited for hours in front of the center because we had appointments starting from 8:00 am but the center WAS CLOSED!!! Yep CLOSED!! People had appointments for covid test for surgery, clear return to work, etc…. But they decided to close without any explanation from the manager who we tried to call and never even apologized or explained to all these people why the heck they’re closed!!!!! You don’t deserve to be called health care providers!!! You’re absolutely the opposite!
I had a great experience. Making the appointment was easy online, the staff was friendly and they were not patronizing. I definitely felt they had my best interests in mind and cared about me as well as about solving my medical problem.
The person taking in patients was very rude and wanted me to come back the next day when I made the appointment when no one was in the building to be seen. The provider spoke up and said she could take me. The exam wasnt very thorough. They sent me to get an ultrasound a couple days later and tell me to call them back. I called them back over 30 times - no one answers the phone - and it goes to a voicemail that is full. They put a note in my chart that they called me and left a message for me to call them. Again - unable to reach ANYONE when you call back.. so if I want to talk to them - do I have drive physically back there? Ridiculous!
Walked in because I suspected I had the flu. Walking textbook case. The wait time was short, but the X-ray tech that took my vitals and did my intake wasn’t very friendly. I explained I had a fever last night and she was kind enough to inform me that I didn’t have one now. She definitely seemed like she really didn’t want to be there. She told me she would be doing a nasal flu swab and I expressed concern that it may be nasopharyngeal (because that hurts like heck). Her response was to hold up her hands and say she didn’t have to do it. Could have done without that and her frosty demeanor. Maybe medicine isn’t the field for her?The talk with the provider was short and to the point because my flu swab was indeed positive. Rest, fluids, Motrin, Tylenol and see you later. In and out in 30 minutes.
I walked in Harford healthcare. They welcomed me very politely. I needed to be treated for a haematoma from a bite I took to the side of my mouth. Very painful situation. I saw Doctor Robert and he was very humorous and funny. Thank you doctor for letting me know my diagnosis.
The receptionist Naddi was unbelievably rude from the moment I walked in with a same day work related injury. She said because I didn’t have the address of the workman’s comp or the adjuster (who hadn’t been assigned) that she was unable to complete the registration process and was told to drive to the ER with a known head injury and possible concussion.
Even with a busy waiting area, I was seen pretty quickly. The doctor/nurses were very attentive and thorough in their testing.
I recently took an elderly family member in for an appointment. Neither of us had ever been there before. I was very impressed with the care provided. The doctor was extremely thorough and respectful to my family member. The care received exceeded my expectations.
Young lady sitting on the front desk... I do not understand how you can be so rude and unprofessional. Been here twice, not going back there at all. I hate the fact the people choose this type of job and they hate what they do. Went there to do my test and I ask her a few question due to the fact that I was traveling out of state need it to do Covid-19 test.. Awful!! Very rude and impolite. Both times I was there same lady same attitude. First time there i was thinking well people have good and not so good day maybe she going thru a situation, second time i was there she was same way!!
It was easy to register online, when I got to the Urgent Care greeted by receptionist and nurses. Waited about 20 minutes to be seeing by a doctor 👨⚕️ She did a great and complete examination, very compassionate and professional.
Highly recommend making an appointment on the website of the location where you want to be seen. You’ll be called in much more quickly. I was in and out within 15 minutes last Sunday morning. Rx was called in within an hour. Pcr test results ( negative) we’re on my chart later that day.
I had to get a Covid PCR test for an incoming surgery. Everything was great! I was able to make an appointment online very easily in advance. The checkin at the facility was easy too & the staff was friendly & helpful! I would definitely recommend this HHC Urgent Care facility for all types of health care!
Very unhappy. The provider did not do a full examination and was too worried about labelling me as high risk to treat my symptoms that I have had for over a month. Told me not to talk and voice will come back. I am full time employee and a mother of a toddler. Not talking isnt exactly an option, and again its been a month! My ears and throat were not looked at when they have been pain and problem sights for me. Nor was I asked about any symptoms by the provider. The only thing she asked was if I was a diabetic, which I am not and how often I cough. I told her not that often, so she gave me a prn cough med and told me to take it only if I need it. I didnt need it my symptoms are not cough! All she did was repeatidly tell me that I am obese so Im high risk. I am normally a very healthy person. It takes a lot to get me in the doctors office. I have been in the healthcare field for 10 years and this is not how I or anyone else should have been treated. My blood pressure normally runs very low ( even when I was pregnant)and it was very high during my visit. I was told it would be checked again before I left as the nurse could see it was out of the ordinary and this was not done. I feel discriminated against and that my symptoms were completely disregarded by the PA Marcel because she was too hung up on the fact that I am obese... Which I know that I am. But that doesnt mean you dont treat me like anyone else and help me get well. I have never been so unhappy with medical care that I have received, as I really received no care. My open wound on my leg was only told to wash w Epson salts and seek further treatment if necessary. No dressings or advise to help heal it. I hate giving bad feed back but this...was necessary. I would not recommend seeing Marcel. I followed up w my primary care and was treated appropriately.
While the receptionist was kind and gracious & service was SUPER fast, Marcela Bernal, PA-C was extremely condescending and judgmental. If you are someone who likes/wears alternative styles and aesthetics, immediately request someone else if you get stuck with her.I went there because the area around a piercing got infected. When she asked what was wrong and I revealed I had a piercing, she quite literally turned her lip up and said “ugh! why would you do that?!”- clearly, unabashedly disgusted with me. After a brief, stunned pause I tried to explain that I enjoy adorning my body; she proceeded to talk over me about how piercings are bad and a foreign instrument in the body (-I GET THAT) and how I need to remove it immediately after the area healed. She was adamant that I take it out and chocked it up to “preventative measures”. I was honestly just waiting for the “but if you’re going to anyway, here’s how to protect yourself” speech but it never came. So I tried to explain to her I knew the risks and also to add context (it’s summer so I’m sweating a lot more, I’m more active in the summer and it’s more exposed, I’ve had the piercing for 2 YEARS & it’s my 12th of 13 piercings currently, I know what piercing rejection is, etc) but she barely listened to any of my concerns except enough to dispute everything I said. There were obvious thick, ideological undertones in her rhetoric- she compared getting body piercings [and them *inevitably* getting infected] to “[constantly] jumping off a building” and why would I continue to “hurt myself” like that? Then she put her hand up and kept saying “that’s my advice you don’t have to take it”.She had her mind made up the minute she learned about a piercing. As her patient I felt ignored, talked down to and worst of all shamed. I was on the verge of tears (from the pain) and she decided chastising me about something as common as tattoos (& tattoo complications) was more important than listening to me?That woman needs a training in bedside manner ASAP.
The nurse at the reception desk, nurse that greeted me in the treatment room and the Physicians assistant that helped me were all friendly, compassionate and knowledgeable.
The best clinic in the area. They are as fast as possible always friendly this is my 3rd time and we’ll definitely be back when needed
Super nice people; very clean and tidy facility. Zackary saw my kids and me together, making the appointment very quick and stress free. The young lady who helped check us in was super sweet and understanding. Would definitely recommend.
What a great, thorough, old-fashioned doctor, who was absolutely terrific
Everyone was wonderful. The 3 stars due to paying $100 copay and being sent to Pequot because there wasn’t an X-ray tech
Everyone was very nice and professional. I was able to get treated quickly and efficiently.
I had an ear piercing to move backward into my ear lobe. My ear was infected and soar. I called urgent care @ Hart Ford health. They were very professional and kind. They were able to get the earring out without cutting my ear. Believe me, I went home happy! Thanks a bunch....
I wish they could be my PCP. Hurt my ankle, made an appt for 30 minutes ahead of my looking them up, filled out my intake forms from my phone, checked in on a touch screen, waited 5 min to be seen, got treatment (including xrays), and was about about a half hour after checking in. The receptionist was very sweet and pleasant, and both the doctor who saw me and the xray tech who saw me were absolutely wonderful. This is the only walk-in that Ive ever had nothing but positive feelings about after leaving.
I went to this clinic because I suspected of having a pulmonary infection. I really needed a quick diagnosis. The doctor checked me out and told me that I was fine even though my cough was nonstop and the color of my phlegm was green. The next day, I went to my primary care doctor and was diagnosed with bronchitis and put on strong antibiotics. Conclusion: Stay away from this clinic if you dont want to be misdiagnosed. I wasted time and money on this clinic. Save yourself the headache!
The care is good, but the system is lacking. They wasted my time and income when waiting for results to come back. Don’t expect them to call you to find out results for anything. You have to be diligent and keep calling to get results back.
Id give a Zero stars if possible. Dont go here and expect to get professionals. You also might want to avoid if you work in R.I. and rely on TDI for when you have an unsuspected injury/illness! They will REFUSE TO FILL OUT YOU TDI FORM!!!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!
Everyone was excellent from the providers to the staff. I will definitely use HHC for my urgent care needs. I also appreciated how my primary care doctor was informed about my visit and the results. 5⭐️
I am a manager next door at PetSmart, and a gentleman came to us after he was denied help at the urgent care. They refused to call 911 for him, so we did not hesitate to call 911 when he came into our store for help. Disgusting he was not helped.
The APRN provider was very kind. I was treated with respect from the appointment creation to the end of my visit.
So rude who ever answers phone. I dont think people are happy being sick and to have to deal with miserable people who are suppose to make you feel better is bad. How are you an Urgent Care and dont take walk-ins refuse to take a 78 year old sick woman because the wait is an hour. Something illegally sounds wrong
After getting rejected from 3 different walk ins this morning and feeling super defeated and on the verge of tears because I just wanted my sore throat to go away, Hartford health took me in. They were all so lovely, caring, and attentive. I definitely recommend this walk in clinic to everybody.
Checked online for the closing time. It said that they close at 8:00pm and that there was a 1 minute wait time. Arrived at 7:30 and was told that they were not seeing any other patients because they were full and they would not get out of there for over an hour. It seems that they put their needs to leave for the night before patient care. I will not be going back or recommending this Urgent Care facility.
Extremely rude front desk associate. Never been more appalled at healthcare workers. These times are difficult for everyone if you can’t treat people with basic human decency you should not be working with the public. Very disappointing that my 5 year old has to bare witness an adult talking to others that way. Will only be using affiliates of Yale New Haven Healthcare now.
Check in very efficient (completed my part of the pre-registration prior to arrival). Service for my injury was extremely professional and efficient.
These people are the kindness care professionals I was blessed to get help addressing a immediate health care issue I had, the kindness did it was quality care service, thank you.
Dr. Doerwaldt in New London was very caring and went all the way to take care of my case. He also spent a length of time to make phone calls for me and wrote a very detailed notes posted in MyChart.
Super friendly people, they are very professional. They got me in and out, I made an appointment and when I checked in they were ready for me. I’m uncomfortable in medical spaces and they were very caring.
Pleasant experience. Friendly staff, doc was great. Made appointment on line and moved through quicklyThank U
Just stopped at the urgent care center open til 8.pm with elderly father. She sent us away saying provider wasnt there? Open til 8 pm! She asked if we had appt? What a waste of time. Next time will just go to L&M emergency!!
Outstanding service, the onsite personal from the receptionist to the on site physician are remarkable thank you so much
The first initial phone call I had was abruptly disconnected. It was a youngman answering whom I believe might have been familiar with system. The 2nd call about a minute later was a womans voice and she was professional to move the ball along to an appt. The tech that took the info before seeingRachel Corcoran was great at her job.Rachel Corcoran helped me a great deal with my issue and went steps further to suggest different products after using prescribed meds.I do have a question regarding follow-up with Rachel Corcoran..How might an ex patient pose a question. My Chart? When I called the clinic and asked to speak with her the person answered my question but not sure if she was qualified.Linda Caldwell
Not an URGENT care at all... See its in the name... URGENT care usually needed urgently.... Was turned away from a walk in because they just couldnt today... Thank god i wasnt looking for anything URGENT....
I love that I can visit the website to make an appointment and I am seen promptly. The staff are nice and professional.
Clean site, very friendly and focused staff. I am so glad there was a site open on a weekend near my house as I had a minor injury and wanted to avoid an ER. I like that online checkin is available and will use it in the future, if needs arise. I like that wait time is listed in the waiting area.
I am grateful that GoHealth Urgent Care is a part of the VA network. Ive been to both the New London and Groton clinic for separate injuries. The facilities are of the highest quality, the staff is friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. My expectations have been exceeded every time.
I like the appointment system which seems to help the flow of patient to doctor ratioI was seen on timeDr Dunwoodie is veryattentive, focused and easy to speak with
The staff is great! Easy in and out. They took care of me fast and efficiently. If I ever have a health issue it’s nice to know they are mar by.
I went there a few times for the same reason and was misdiagnosed. They seem to not care and I felt like I was being rushed. I called once to see if they were taking walk ins and the lady on the phone was extremely rude! She said no were not taking any and hung up before I could say anything. The service is awful! Never again will I go there!
Excellent experience. Very personable and caring. I didnt feel rushed in or out just for turnover sake. The registration process was convenient.
Staff members were welcoming, efficient, patient and ensured my family was provided the best care.
I went to the clinic in the morning and they sent me home with an appointment for 1:15 & I finally was seen @ 2:30
Very professional staff. Short wait time. Will go there again
Very good service from start to finish. Knowledgeable , friendly and thorough. I would go back if in need and highly recommend Go-Health/ Hartford Healthcare😊Thanks to the team.
Always easy to schedule an appointment and be seen on short notice
Scheduled an appointment. I was in within 5 minutes of my appointment. Staff listened to my concerns. No feeling of being rushed.
Check in was fine, service was terribleThey didnt take my insurance (which was fine)She told me to go to another place that took it, I called my father, he said just stay there and we can work out insurance later. She said, no go to another place. I said my father wants me to just stay here, she said. Let me talk to him there was no way I was going to give her my phone or even talk to my fatherShe said, you can come up to me when you have calmed down what?!
The urgent care centers are great. The rest of the system is awful.
Usually it’s a quick visit. Today there was over an hour wait because there was only one provider. During such a busy sick season they should have more than one provider. Everybody is super nice and efficient though.
Excellent facility. Very clean and welcoming. Being able to check in online was a great timesaver. I was seen within 20 minutes of arriving and taken care of quickly and efficiently. Would definitely go back!
It was exceptional visit, from making the the initial appt online to seeing a competent medical professional in the urgent care facility.
Staffed by very nice people.
Tried to go as a walk in because I work from 7am to at least 5pm sometimes as late as 7pm or 8pm and this was the only one open near me. I get there for 6 and they just arent taking in anymore walk ins according to a sheet posted on the door and appointments are set out for 2 days. Whats the point of being called a walk in if I cant just walk in?
Arrived with severe back pain that required staff to come get me from the parking lot. Everyone was very helpful, kind, and honest. They helped me in a time of need and I appreciate their service.
Good Service, Good People, Efficient Service the facility itself was down from original polish with burnt out lightbulbs, reception area computer with error message and less than clean sitting areas noting hair strands on side table services. Needs some TLC and attention.
They were effective and efficient. I Appreciated their positive attitude, and easy to understand directions/instructions. There was a smooth process through the visit.
Ashley was the best ever!!!! Stitched me up nice and pretty, didnt feel a thing and she was just awesome
Very short wait time, very compassionate and knowledgeable staff.
Dr. Doerwaldt was very kind and most helpful. He even took the time to Google a vaporizer he thought I should have to help with hypersensitive cough.
The staff were very kind, the Dr very efficient and genuinely wanted to help.
I booked my appointment online and didn’t wait at all. Everyone was friendly and professional. Highly recommend.
Center is supposed to be OPEN until 5pm arrived at 4:30 doors were locked and the receptionist very rudely informed me that all the rooms were full, and if they let me in they would be seeing mem after 5:00 so I would need to come back tomorrow.so my question is what time does the walk-in actually close? So if at 3:30 the waiting room is full do they then randomly lock the doors because patients might end up being seen after 5:00? if your website States that you are open until 5:00 then you uld be open until 5:00.
Dr. Doerwaldt was very nice and treated me with respect and dignity. Excellent bedside manner.
