I wish I had seen the other reviews here before I visited. My experience unfortunately matches what others have described.I visited this urgent care center on 05/14/2023. I was extremely disappointed by their billing practices. To begin with, they sent the bill almost 18 months after my visit, which seems incredibly late and makes it difficult to recall the specifics. They initially refused to provide an itemized bill and then charged me $383 as a base charge with no explanation. This felt like a scam, especially since the billing department couldnt detail what this charge covered. When I contacted them, they were unhelpful and told me to speak with the clinic front desk. When I called, I spoke to the office manager Mr. Paul, who was rude and threatened to send my bill to collections if I didnt pay $250 in the next 10 minutes - a number that seemed to come out of thin air.I am writing this review to warn other patients about this urgent care centers billing practices. I hope that my experience will help to prevent others from encountering similar issues. I urge potential patients to be cautious and request a clear explanation of all charges before receiving any treatment.
If you ever have a sick or hurt child, PLEASE do not waste your time here while you are already dealing with the heart break or stress seeing your child is in discomfort.I brought my daughter who got a cut and was bleeding to this urgent care because it was the nearest I could found. They have a sign that says walk-in appointment from 2pm-5pm, and I arrived at 4:50pm. When I walked in, the guy asked me if my insurance takes their urgent care. I said I am not sure, I don’t know. To be honest, as a worried mom at that moment, I didn’t have time to check if their urgent care is in network with my insurance. The guy told me that I should go back to my PCP or call my insurance to see which urgent care is within their network. And then he added, “WE DO NOT TAKE INSURANCE.” I was very confused with what was going on because firstly, if they really do not take insurance, the guy doesn’t need to waste so much of his amylase aka saliva and time and energy, he could have just told me we are cash patient only, do not take insurance. Instead he kept asking me to call my insurance to check or go back to my PCP, all while my child was bleeding. Secondly, if I came at 4:50pm and it’s hindering them from getting off work, he should have just told me we are closed. Lastly, i feel no empathy at all from medical clinic, they gave me a feeling they are just a money sucker clinic, no medical professionalism at all. By the way, i have been to so many medical clinics, hospitals and urgent cares and of course I have met some rude medical personnel in my life but never once they prompted me to write a bad review. This is my first time in my life to write a review.
Beware of Surprise Bills!I received a bill 1.5 years after my visit, even though my insurance had already paid at the time. The amount was completely unexpected, and there were no details about what I was being charged. Additionally, the bill didn’t include any insurance information, which it should have. Avoid this place to prevent surprise high bills!
Stay away from them. I went there in 2023 with headache, got wrongly diagnosed by doc, prescribed me heavy pain killers. I had sinusitis, which requires different approach.Lastly I got billed 2 years later out of nowhere, delivered 11/8 and payment was due 11/7.AED wasted almost two years and now I have zero days for review? My insurance provider processed it in timely manner, but those guys delayed it without a reason. Now I try to pay from HSA account and payment is rejected by their portal.STAY AWAY!!!!
Went to there once at 8:00am in the morning, had to do a blood test, a guy who apparently have no idea how to do it did it for me, my blood was all over the place and I have been unconsciously shaking during blood test ever since. They told me their staff that do this work normally start working at 11am so he had to do it…. Unbelievable
BEWARE! Sketchy billing practices!Went in June of 2023 to “AFC Urgent Care. And November of 2024 I received an invoice from “AED Urgent Care”. As others have mentioned, they either need to hire a new billing team OR they are scamming patients. My guess is on the later. Seems like they changed their name from all the negative backlash of their extremely late invoicing practice. The bill they sent didn’t even include my insurance. I have different insurance now so I was a bit stressed. Luckily, after a few calls with the insurance company I had last year they reassured me that it is on the urgent care to cover/eat the cost. AFC is in network with the insurance I had last year, and from their records they never ever submitted a claim. They most likely wait to bill so that the patients see the tight turnaround invoice deadline and panic pay.Be aware! Take the time to call the insurance company. It might take some time out of your day but it’s so worth it to save from wasting hundreds of dollars. As of the care itself from this urgent care… not great. I waited 45 minutes (no one else was waiting). I didn’t even get a call back of my results from the test. I’m still unclear if they ever even looked at my x-ray.
**Beware of Fraudulent Billing Practices!**I am utterly shocked by the fraudulent billing practices of AFC Urgent Care. Recently, I received a bill for a COVID test I took back in 2021, demanding an outrageous payment of $3,200! This is completely unacceptable and feels like a scam. How can a simple COVID test from two years ago suddenly cost this much? There was no prior communication about this charge for two years, and now they expect me to pay an absurd amount. This is clearly a case of trying to take advantage of people with unethical billing tactics.Avoid this place at all costs if you want to avoid being blindsided by outrageous and fraudulent charges!
I was turned away by the main doc who was also working the front desk checking people in. He said he doesn’t take our insurance because he’s still waiting on an outstanding $18,000 insurance payment from that same insurance and continued explaining the financial strain of accepting insurances such as mine, as if that is any of my business at all while I’m in the waiting room with a sick toddler. He was incredibly unprofessional and it was a blessing in disguise to be turned away. This man is unethical and unkind. I understand having to turn patients away but at least treat them with some sort of dignity.
They told me to come in at 2pm for walk ins. I get there and they tell me the doctor does not get in till 330pm. Furniture has rips and disgusting stains. They even had this huge billboard inside selling beauty services like eyebrows and such. Stay far away from this place. Dirty and going out of business I am guessing.
Stay away from them . Wish I could give 0 star. They send you a bill years after your visit for a bloated amount without sending the claim to insurance. When you call they are rude and say that insurance did not approve the claim. Whereas, there is no record of them sending a claim to insurance. They are now open only in the afternoons due to their lack of business. No wonder! Looking at other reviews it is clear that I am not the only one affected by their fraudulent practices. Wish the affected ones join together, file a law suit and shut this place down.
This place sends out fraudulent bills. They already billed my insurance company, yet sent me a bill demanding payment. When I tried calling to inquire about it, the person on the phone was extremely rude, yelling at me without even letting me state my name. He insisted that the bill was correct without knowing who I was or the details of my bill. How can he be sure theres no issue if he doesn’t even know my identity? Clearly, they are mass-sending these kinds of bills.Ive reported this to my insurance company, and they are refusing to cooperate with them. My insurance company is now taking legal action against this scam clinic. Please count me in if anyone is starting in ajoining lawsuit
My insurance paid them over $1000 and they are requesting more money two years later I have full coverage insurance I tried calling them to discuss this bill doctor is always busy also my insurance called them and they said they don’t talk to in network providers doesn’t make sense you guys want more money from me after you collected your money two years ago . This was for a Covid test that was free
These people are scammers guys beware I received 383$ bill even though i gave them my insurance Information when i asked them what is this bill for they rudely said ‘we don’t answer questions do you want to make payments or not’. I mean seriously guys are you guys there to treat people or slave people or are trying to run a medical mafia of some sort.
Fraudulent folks. Same as experience mentioned by others . They charged me $550 for normal cold mentioning that they were not in my network. After 2 years , they have sent me another invoice for $966 . They have changed their name from afc urgent care to aed urgent care.
** AFC URGENT CARE IN NEWARK - BEWARE OF THEIR BILLIING SCAMHas anyone else like me and my children, visited AFC Urgent Care in Newark (5763 Stevenson BlvdNewark, CA 94560-5301) for Covid Tests back in 2020?!?Back then, due to the pandemic worldwide, these tests were FREE. We went to AFC Urgent Care in Newark to get tested and provided our insurance when standing in line out in the parking lot for a swap test by a front desk employee, next to their banner “FREE COVID TESTS”Almost 4 years later we received their bill this week demanding THOUSANDS of dollars, or else “NO ACTION WILL GIVE US AUTOMATIC PERMISSION TO FILE LAWSUIT TO RECOVER OUR BILLS PLUS CHARGES TO FILE THE CASES”We tried to reach out but there is no phone number listed on the bill. This SCAM must be reported and stopped ASAP. I’m planning to file with BBB tomorrow and hope people receives bills like this from this office (Saloojas Inc) will NOT simply pay their ransoms.Did a Yelp search and there are a lot of people are being scammed like this in about 4 months ago.We will NEVER visit this office and will do everything we can to advocate people to stay away instead of being victimized. This is a health clinic, the last place any of us would expected to be victimized and scammed. Shame on you, AFC Urgent Care Newark and Dr Parmjit Singh!!
My experience at this facility was beyond frustrating. They falsely claimed to be in-network, but I later found out that wasn’t true. When I called to address the issue, Paul, who answered, was shockingly rude and dismissive. He made no effort to help and spoke to me in a condescending tone, which made the situation even worse. I was seen for less than five minutes, only to be told they couldn’t help with my ear issue and that I should go to the emergency room after misdiagnosis my ear. To add insult to injury, I was charged an outrageous $578 for that brief visit. When I questioned the cost, Paul smugly said, ‘Well, it’s California, it’s expensive,’ and then had the audacity to mention their $27K rent as if that justified ripping people off.
My car insurance paid for the full amount of my medical expenses yet they come back a year with a bill of the same amount stating it is due!!! What a scam and a shame. This medical department needs to be closed.
Please be careful, their billing is a disaster. I paid my co-pays in person and confirmed I dont owe anything. Months later, I keep getting bills sent in every direction. When I call, they say to ignore. When I ignore, they continue to bill my insurance and send me bills. I cant even explain how frustrating it has been. I would never go here again for that reason.
Filling out the forms was easy by doing it on my phone. The Dr visit was very painless and informative. I would highly recommend AED Urgent Care Network.
I am sorry to say this , the diagnosis was completely wrong and my wife suffered for 3 days. If you are not sure what’s wrong please don’t prescribe any antibiotics which will weaken the system. To give the complete story, my wife was down with ear pain for 3 days and we visited this urgent care since the pain was unbearable. Waited for 15 mins to be taken inside the room but after that waited close to 45 mins even though there were no patients. After 45 mins an intern came and asked several questions and later the doctor came and asked the same questions. Not sure if we were like a testing equipment for them to ask questions again and again .Later doctor checked the ear and said there is a perforation in the ear and it is causing bacterial infection. We were very scared to hear about this diagnosis, he also showed this to his intern and said this is how the perforation is . He prescribed some antibiotics and the only good thing he did was to refer to a ENT specialist to take a close look at it.Upon taking those antibiotics my wife was down with fatigue and also felt very dizzy, luckily we got an appointment with ENT after 3 days and upon examine the ears there was no perforation 🤦🏻♂️ and it was due to fungal infection. He removed the infection and my wife was perfectly fine within next 2 mins. Ent specialist asked us to first discard the antibiotics and just use a ear drop.If you are not sure please don’t conclude and give some wrong medications.
Terrible billing practices. Got a bill for two visits, each time they scanned my insurance card and suddenly out of nowhere I receive a bill without the insurance deduction applied. Patient services team is unresponsive. Save yourself trouble and don’t bother going there.
Looks like they changed their name from AFC to AED after getting exposed as a scam. Their billing system gets flagged as fraudulent when trying to pay a bill. Also, how are you going to charge people $2400 for FREE Covid testing from 4 years ago?? I will NOT be paying this bill and this has been reported to the BBB. How this place is still in business is beyond me.
They are charging me $885 for taking a covid test that was FREE and COVERED in 2021 just got the bill today. They did FREE COVID testing in 2021 i remember waiting in an hour line! Now they tryna get me to give em $885 outta they mind they must be broke
Aside from the vagrant billing and awful scare tactics, be aware that theyve very much lied about their hours. They are functionally closed until 2, and close early at 5, unless you call to make an appointment, and they are constantly unexpectedly closed even in the small window of time they claim to be open.
I got a bill from this urgent care saying I need to pay 385.00. Even though my medical insurance covered it. Upon going inside to ask why I need to pay the lady was very rude and didn’t even let me finish of what I have to say. Instead she points me to wait. Upon asking how long she doesn’t even give me proper answer. Please do not go to this urgent care!!!!!!!!!!
So happy with my visit.. I would definitely recommend to my friends and family. If you want the best care for your loved ones. And they have great staff, very warm and friendly. And their doctors are professional, and compassionate. Especially Dr. Sandy Kaur- SHE IS AWESOME! My kids love her.
If I could give negatives stars I would. Sent me a bill out of blue with no context ON THE DAY IT WAS DUE for a rapid COVID test I got here over 18 months ago. They claim I didn’t pay and “there is a glitch in the system” that caused them to find out that patients hadn’t paid their bills. When I called them and pressed them on why it wasn’t brought up over the last 18 months, they wouldn’t give a straight answer. Stay away at all costs.
As like many others we also received a bill for their COVID tests. Since many people will see these reviews, I am hoping that acknowledge against them will be taken and shut them down completelyThe people working there will find a new job and I am unsure Noone wants to work for a place that scams their patients
Beware! Before you have any medical treatment done from them you better make sure that they are in your insurance network and what your out of pocket cost is going to be or you will be in shock when they bill you. I have received (2) bills that were from two years ago. The lates bill they didn’t even contact my insurance for the EOB and were charging me for the full amount. Hopefully my mistake of not checking if they were in the network before being treated will help the next person from making the same mistake and save you a lot of money.
This place offered free Covid tests in 2020 just like the drive through ones and we stood in line were swabbed and left. We never saw a doctor we’re never evaluated just swabbed and left. Now this place is sending bills for “new patient evaluation” which is classic since we never talked to a doctor never discussed symptoms with anyone. Just straight vanilla Covid test. What a scam.
Totally agree with other reviews that this place is scam. Got billed for $6000+, for 6 COVID test visits back in 2021~2022. They charged the full cost to me, claiming insurance didnt pay them. I checked with my insurance and it turned out that the insurance has fully paid the amount after insurance discounts. After I sent the documents to this place, they changed the bill to $2000+, saying I still need to pay for the difference of insurance discounts because they dont acknowledge these discounts.I would say this place is just trying to make a fortune out of COVID. I would give them 0 star if I could. Especially for below reasons:1. At the time back in 2021, they had huge banners claiming Free COVID testing and had long lines of patients everyday to do the tests. Now they are eating their words and charging huge amounts for these services.2. I never heard of any medical provider claiming they dont acknowledge insurance discounted price, and charge the difference to patients.3. For each COVID test they charged $1000+! Thats insane. My insurance ended up paying $600+ with the discounted price, which is still very high. All other medical providers I went to just charge $100~200 for such a nasal swab COVID test.
Recently got billed (08/2024) from a service that was performed FOUR years ago saying it is my responsibility for a Covid test that was advertised as “free”. Now they’re saying my provider is OON, when they failed to do the proper eligibility check! Unprofessional and not the patients responsibility! Spoke to Tanisha on the phone and she was incredibly rude. Will never come back here.
Same situation as people have posted. My husband n i Just got a bill of $2549 n $1560 for 3 covid tests in a tent in a parking lot 3 years ago !!! (during the peak of pandemic 5/2021, July n August ). They were supposed to be free. They never filed a claim to insurance. N charged us back then as well. We paid them the amount of $149 or $234 something back then as well for these just to get it over with. N they still after us now 3 years later with false claims. ( medical services , new patients n materials as if we actually used their services.) Very shady n unethical.
If I can only give 0 star for this place.. I would!! Customer service is poor. And they send out bills eventhough I already told them that my insurance paid for that visit, I even emailed them the EOB as proof stating that bill has been taken care of. They still keep on sending bills and threatening me that it will go to collecrtions if I dont pay. READ THE REVIEWS!!
My personal dr is on vacation for the rest of the summer. The local ER will make you wait 4 hours+ to be seen, the only other urgent care I can go to is walk-in and also takes hours to be seen. I thought I got lucky by being able to find a decently rated place that takes appointments. I even downloaded the app, uploaded my docs, and did e check in. I show up and they tell me they arent even supposed to have my appointment slot available. Okay, why did no one call me then? No one else was in the building. Waste of time and now I really dont even know where Im going to receive healthcare.
COVID-19 test provided for free in 2021. They actually mailed me a 992 bill this year. How to deal with this? I want to know if you have no money to pay your salary, and then cheat the people who tested COVID-19 before us. The main thing is that my insurance said that it had already been paid
I bring my family and myself here when we need urgent care. The doctors have all been kind and helpful. Good bedside manners. Quick to get prescriptions to the pharmacy and run tests. Which I appreciate! The front office staff can be less preoccupied / grumpy and be more supportive to value a patient’s time and energy while they are sick!Billing department really needs to do better with providing transparent and timely billing. Viewers please check if you are in network or not each year because you will not be told if things change and you are a returning patient. The website does not say that they close for lunch but they do. They are often good with time but today I spent almost 2 hours from arriving before I was on my way.I go back for the good Drs that help us get better. Thank you!
Billing scam! Got a legit covid test in 2020, fully covered by insurance, with written confirmation by the provider in advance that I would have no out of pocket charges. Got a bill 4 years later for $900 and a threat of taking me to small claims court. They charged me for both a new patient visit and an existing patient visit. Horrible. They should be shut down. Ive reported them to OIG and CFPB.
The doctor we saw was ok and the facility was fine, but the wait was ridiculous. We were the only people in the waiting room and we got moved to a room fairly quickly, but it felt like they forgot about us after that. We were there for an hour and a half for a five minute consult and a really badly formatted note for work.
I wouldn’t even rate this Dr. They sent an invoice after 3 years. I went there for a carona virus test back in 2021 and got the invoice in 2024. When I called the clinic, the lady that answered the phone said that the accountant was on a break and she was not able to answer my questions. I called my insurance and they told me that they had paid the invoice when the claim was filed. They have sued the insurance companies for getting money for providing the carona virus tests that were free in 2021. This care provider is a crook… please be careful.
Was quickly admitted and evaluated by Miss Chau (PA-C) who was very receptive and genuinely concerned about my wellbeing. Overall a very pleasant experience.
Stay away from this sad excuse of a medical practice! They are committing fraud billing practices by billing their patients four years later as what they advertised as “free Covid testing.” In addition, I requested my medical records over a month ago and never received them. I was questioned by one of their employees as to, “ why I needed them.” I hope the owner gets what he deserves and this place gets shut down!!!
Fast forward- 2 years!!! FOR THE SERVICE IN AUG2023!!!Received collections notice************************Because we went to this center for covid testing and had positive experience , we visited urgent care for a stiff neck issue for my son.We saw a NP, Service was ok, we ended up paying more than drop-in rate because the insurance didnt cover and they charged different rates than the walk-in! . I visited twice in a week for same issue , unaware that followup visit will be charged and infact charged more than first visit !!! no one told that I need to pay!! felt rip off !!Still , I paid and settled in full with second payment in person but the system was not updated and kept receiving message for 78$ (Even after Paying 569$!!!)Spoke to the owner of the facility DR Singh, few months back and still same issue.sent them email , will update soon ...if this is taken care atleast now.
This place is a complete scam! In 2021, my husband received a COVID test here, and I was the primary account holder for our insurance. In 2022, we were billed over $1000 for what was supposed to be free COVID testing. After numerous phone calls, we managed to resolve the issue with our insurance company. Now, in July 2024, Ive received another bill for the same amount, but this time theyve listed me as the patient—even though I have never had a COVID test from this place. This is blatant fraud, and I will be reporting this facility and the doctor to the BBB and the state medical board.
Made appt for my 16yr old athlete to have a potential shoulder dislocation / subluxation examined. Was able to book an appt very easily via their website (5-star).You’re asked to arrive 10min early for new patient (understandable). We did arrive early & waited 30-min past our appointed time. One other customer in the waiting room when we arrived. After 20 min, that customer was called & left within a 10-min turnaround period. Our time with the “doctor” (I use that term very loosely) was 10-min also.My son is a water polo athlete with a shoulder injury. (Not his first one, either) Other than a rudimentary exam of how high can you lift your arms; no questions about WHAT HAPPENED (shoulder popping out of socket) ANY SYMPTOMS of tingling, numbness, lack of strength… nothing. He didn’t even ask him to remove his shirt to visually inspect/compare his shoulders. When I requested an X-ray; I received pushback & was denied. (Their website states they offer digital X-rays onsite; my reason for choosing this facility). As soon as we walked out my son said, “mom, this is NOT a muscle bruise… I know my body, I wouldn’t ask to go to a doctor for a bruise”If you’re in need of basic care (ie. Stuffy nose, minor bump/bruise) you may find their experience beneficial. In short, we waited 30 minutes for a 10min appt to be denied the Xray I wanted ($199 for 10min)Hope this review is helpful to any athlete parents.

Excellent Urgent Care!! I took my mom ( visitor from India with visitors insurance). Appointment scheduling, check in and care were all seamless, the physician spent good amount of time for diagnosis and recommended appropriate next steps, also prescribed medication. Overall great experience!!!
Dr Yang provides really good service and speaks ChineseEdit: this place is a scam. just received 2 full bills so I called this urgent care and they said the insurance company didn’t pay. So I called the insurance company to verify which told me this urgent care did not provide them correct and full information(the doctor I met was Doctor Yang and the insurance company received a non existing doctor called Doctor Singh)BTW urgent care’s billing office never pick up a single call.
The staff member Michelle was such a treat. Very kind, considerate and really respectful. She was a great help and made me feel comfortable and secure. Really made me want to leave a good review for her. Thanks a lot.
They sent me the bill 2 years later. When I went to the payment link, they were using the general Clover system for medical payment! (I guess they are not familiar with HIPAA.) I was not sure how they would associate the payment with my account. I called them to pay over the phone, they put me on hold for over an hour (they asked first if I tried online; I said I dont want to). I lost patience and finally went to pay through Clover using my credit card (instead of my HSA; I dont want to be in trouble with the IRS for using HSA card to pay in Clover). Even that didnt work (Payment wasnt completed. Try again later.). Now called them back and waiting....They are extremely unprofessional and unsecured. Do not go there.
Don’t go! They are scam. They said they accept insurance, but actually they don’t accept any insurance. They bill you 50 at first, then send you a large bill of hundreds or thousands of dollars many months or several years later! Don’t go to this place! Will ask friends help to find a attorney to sue this place
I did a Covid test back on 2020 and I got a bill with $480 after 4 years. I spoke to the provider then I was told that they didn’t want to fight with my insurance. They forced me to pay immediately otherwise my case goes to collections. Please be aware.Updated- Got another bill $1000 for a FREE Covid test was done during pandemic in 2020. Don’t trust them and never go there. The website was malicious and don’t click any.
We also just received a covid test scam this year, and they gave us a billing phone number that has been unresponsive. Do not come here, do not use their service.
This Urgent Care is fantastic! I was able to get in very quickly, and the staff was extremely friendly and professional. The doctor I saw listened as I explained my symptoms and clearly broke down what she thought the issue was. I was in and out within 20mins, and once I had my prescriptions filled I started to feel better. It is unfortunate that I live out of town, as this would become my new go-to Urgent Care.
My parents came here in 2021 for FREE covid testing, let me repeat FREE covid testing, and just got a bill in the mail for $1400 for one covid test!! They went to the clinic to dispute the scammy charge, and the billing person there dropped it to $1000....huh?! Theyre not going to pay $1000 for a FREE covid test that was done in 2021! If it wasnt free, they shouldnt have advertised with big banners saying FREE covid testing! I dont know what these people are doing. This is ridiculous. Feels like a scam!! Dont go here!
Scam pls help this is my [email protected] was from 4?years ago i went here for FREE COVID test and now they charging me $2,000
Super quick, nice staff. Dr. Wen was extremely nice.** UPDATE: just received a bill for two basic visits for a common Rx renewal from over a year ago. They charged my insurance over a $1,000 for a basic visit. Now I am left paying $300+? I could have paid cash for $200 out the door. This needs to resolved immediately. And yes I paid copays.
I had a great experience this morning! The lady at the front desk was very helpful and kind. The doctor was also very helpful, kind, knowledgeable, and compassionate!I would definitely go there again and I have already recommended them to family!!
I visited this urgent care last week and i had an amazing experience the P.A Michelle was wonderful she was attentive, patient, gentle, and she explained everything thoroughly and made sure i understood everything she was saying. Her assistant Emily was amazing as well she was great at assuring me that i was going be okay she even provided me extra after care advice she was also so kind she even pronounced my correctly and made sure that I felt heard. Would definitely recommend this urgent and their service. They even told me to give them a call whenever if i have any more questions or concerns!
Exorbitant fees. I was charged over $380 for a 10 minute checkup. Better stay healthy and avoid this place.
These guys are scammers, they send fraudulent bills and threaten you with collection agency, when u ask for itemized bill and services provided information..very rude call centre , not sure why they are not still behind bars even after so many credible testimonies.., our insurance is filing one lets see.
I wouldnt even give one star if I could.I had something in my eye they you could clearly see, and the doctor says he doesnt see anything that you are okay. I go to look in the mirror and see it still there. Very unprofessional. DO NOT trust this urgent care. I will never go back there again.Update: they referred me to a specialist. Turns out I have a really bad infection. Specialist said if I had left it alone like the urgent care doctor told me to do specialist said I would have lost my eyesight within two days. SHAME ON YOU GUYS! That’s how bad the infection was, turns out I had a piece of plastic lodged in my eye! You could see it and he acted like there was nothing there! There was a grey lining on my iris (I have light green eyes so it was insanely visible) with a black dot in the middle of the grey lining. Absolutely horrible urgent care. If you value your health, I strongly urge you do NOT COME here if you care about your life, please don’t come here! If I would’ve listened to the “doctor” I’d be blind right now! That’s what the specialist told me. The specialist was visibly upset at the dr. They shouldn’t be in business at all. This place should be shut down I’m taking this all the way to the top . I’m talking news, magazines and I’m going to call the California board of medical licenses to let them know the horrible reviews. They’re going to end up killing someone if they stay open !!
So I visit this doctor on a Saturday a few weeks ago. I got met by this nurse practitioner that was the only one at the clinic that day. Waited two hours or so could not comprehend what he was saying I tried to explain my issue a smashed finger in a lot of pain. I asked him if he could give me something stronger than ibuprofen as I was in a lot of pain he said he could not prescribe anything as I would be an “addict”. So he prescribed me antibiotic for a bone infection and ibuprofen. I leave with no help and same pain level he said I needed to see an orthopedic surgeon and have surgery he would not touch my finger. I went and saw an orthopedic specialist which he immediately questioned why I was prescribed antibiotics that I did not need which I had been on for over a week and why a doctor at an urgent care couldn’t attend to my injury or at least provide some pain relief. Long story short my insurance was billed $915 for that visit leaving me with a $820 bill. The bill and codes used make no sense I will attach picture. I hope the owner or patients see this because this is not right. They bill for a large sum of money for very little help please please be aware. I also read other recent reviews and whoever the owner is doesn’t seem to have the most appropriate responses to concerns. We shall see if I can get in touch with them and ask why I was billed this way? It seems the billing is a common issue with this facility.
We had to wait an hour or so but the doctor was excellent. She was kind, good with kids and explained my son’s ear infection thoroughly so I could understand what to do.
This place is scam with their billing practices as others noted. There are nearby urgent care within 5-10 minutes.
This place is a total scam. Sent me a bill more than a year later asking for hundred of dollars. I had insurance and the bill said I do not. It seems similar complaints have been posted by other people. You can find the similar complains from yelp and Reddit as well. We need to get this place out of business before they scam other people.
This people are scammers of the worst type DO NOT FOR ANY REASON SEEK MEDICAL HELP FROM THEM they will try to extort you and harass you by E-mail and mail if they get a hold of your insurance and addressThey used to go by AFCAnd they change the name for the bad reputation they already haveThey are trying to extortion me and hundreds of people to paid them fraudulent Covid 19 tests almost 1000$ dollars for test
I came to urgent care because of swollen eyelids. As soon as I walked in , the front receptionist was so welcoming. I was there no more then 10 minutes when the doctor called me in. She was able to diagnose me quickly. Give me clear precise directions on how to treat my symptoms it made me feel very comfortable. I was in and out in 30 minutes. My experience here at urgent care was awesome!
We went for walk in care for kid. Dr yang has been really nice and patient and given professional medical adviceA follow up to this provider. They dont file claim with insurance properly and they charge ridiculous amount for service under 30 mins. The bill doesnt show up until 16 month later in mail.
Emily and Javier did an amazing job helping me check in, fill out forms and making sure I got through my long list of required testing. To make my visit even more efficient they optimized my procedures so that when they had finished with another client they would finish my fit test or blood work or eye test in-between. I cannot thank them enough for making my experience enjoyable, stress free and productive!
This place hasnt had Urine Strips for over 2 weeks. Ive been trying to get a D.O.T. physical at this location for a couple of weeks now. Very Unprofessional. The lady at the front desk is very unfriendly and unhelpful. I would rather wait 5 hours at Concentra. At least they have Urine Strips.
I would give this place -10 stars if I could. THEY ARE NOT CONTRACTED WITH ANY INSURANCES! They do not tell you nor is any insurance info on their website (if it is, its not easily findable). I know it’s ultimately up to the patient to check if a provider is in network but at no point did they indicate at all that they bill out of network. Highly unethical. We also didn’t get a chance to ask anyone as we were asked to stay in the car and didn’t get to speak with anyone at the front for clarification. We only saw the provider who obviously didn’t care about front desk admin items. My wife and I are anticipating a bill for 1800 dollars for basically a swab, some questions and prescribed medication. I’ll update when I receive a statement from the office but my EOB is suggesting I should anticipate a $900 bill. Total rip-off. Also We’re apparently being charged for an outpatient visit and outpatient care, separate charges at $300+ for each. Do yourself a favor and go visit a more modern urgent care facility like carbon health. Higher quality company with better transparency than these jokers.
SCAM!!! Dont go here! They are all scammers and will overcharge you!!I was here for a quick 10-min visit and sat in my car the whole time. They confirmed that I would only be charged $210 for my visit since my visit time was below 30 min. However, when I received the claim from my insurance, they charged me $387 for a 30min visit fee which was ridiculous cuz I was only there for 10 min. I submitted an appeal for this claim with my insurance and its in processing. Later, this urgent care sent me an email charging me $587 and put me into collections, saying theyve sent me bills multiple times which was a lie because I had never received any bills (emails, phones, mails) from them. I will continue with the appeal process and will not pay those scammers these unreasonable fees.Claim fraud in this place
I really needed to see a doctor. Bcz of an Ear infection. Luckily my friend brought me to AED URGENT CARE... I was quickly registered into the system. And was the last patient seen yesterday. The Doctor was knowledgeable & thorough. Before leaving my pharmacy texted me my script was ready for pickup. Wow! Awesome!
People are nice but they don’t know what’s going on.I went there for flu symptoms and I had to do the exam from my car instead of a room? Not sure what the point of rooms are in an urgent care if you can’t use them if you are sick? The doctor used an infrared thermometer (least accurate) while it was windy outside making it colder on my face so she was convinced that my temperature was 98 despite me testing myself before and after with an oral thermometer and got almost 103 both times. When she checked my lymph nodes she admitted that I was burning up (but reinforced that my temp was of course 98) so she recommended that I don’t wear my sweatshirt, because that must have been the cause of me burning up.Flu & covid tests came back negative so she said I should wait 3 more days (I feel terrible now?) and then I can get antibiotics for “whatever infection you have”. We didn’t do any more tests, she just winged it.I went to a real urgent care where they did real tests and found I have something that antibiotics wouldn’t have helped with at all and need specific medications.I wouldn’t go here if you value your health and don’t want to let these clueless doctors give up and make a guess about what you need.
They said they prescribed me two medications, and oddly the prescriptions didnt both arrive at the pharmacy at the same time.. Then I found out theres potentially very DANGEROUS side effects of taking the two together, which the pharmacist wouldnt have been able to tell me about.. The whole thing was weird, and I just dont trust them now.
My daughter did two Covid vaccines back on 2020.They billed my insurance with different procedure codes and billed me over $400. And after over two years another bill of $909.Please be aware and DO NOT GO!!!!
I came here with my kid because we both weren’t feeling well. The staff were friendly and helpful and we didn’t have to wait too long to see a doctor. Very attentive and listened to my concerns. Definitely will come here again if I need!
This clinic is a complete fraud. Let me explain how. We went here for a covid booster, stood outside in the cold and got our shots. The next thing we find out, they’ve billed our insurance $832 for office visit, urgent care services and some professional service. And we owe $172 out of pocket for a COVID VACCINE. They bill as SALOOJAS INC. It’s clinics like this that are wrecking the entire medical insurance system of this country. We deserve better 🇺🇸I’m attaching the breakdown here for those who don’t consider this a fair review.
I want to personally thank Javier, Michelle, and Vineet for helping my Mother and Father. Their assistant made the visit go very smoothly and quickly as well. My parents were very pleased with the service given and satisfied at the end of the day.Thank you
This is a terrible place I went here in 2020 for a Covid test during the pandemic. Four years later I’m receiving a bill from them saying I need to pay 400 dollars or they will send me to collections for my Covid test. They add hidden fees stating it’s for get there care and another for visiting there clinic. It’s ridiculous they had a tent set up outside when I got my test I didn’t even enter the building but somehow that is enough to be charged for 400$ originally is was 800 but my insurance covered half. They reach out now in 2024 charging way more for a task everywhere else was doing for free. This place is a scam. Do not go here.
Horrible experience I was sent an invoice for 385$ , when I had provided them the insurance information on my first visit. These guys are scammers stay away. I will drag them to CFPB for this
Surprise bills. After 1.5 year a cryptic bill has arrived. I see enough complaints here for a complaint to the regulatory authority.
The doctor and staff is so rude. They barely talk to you and try to force you out
Beware! AED, previously AFC are scammers! They will charge you close to $800 if you do not have insurance for a simple urgent care visit and refuse to work with your insurance if you do have it. The room I was put in had hairballs, dirt, and dust in the corners and on the floors.I waited 3 hours even after making an appointment and the clinic only had a couple people waiting before me. They allowed walk-ins to go before me. I was completely misdiagnosed and if they had just listened and cared this could have been avoided. I confirmed with front desk that they accepted my insurance and they tried to rip me off. This place needs to be shut down for fraud, they make their own false positive reviews and if you check the 5 star reviews you can clearly see they are rapidly produced around the same dates. Please go somewhere else that provides legitimate care! Do not make the same mistake as me.
Hands down the best clinic. Came across this place after having two previous urgent clinics turn me down. They took me in, no appointment needed. Fillers out all my form through my phone while on the way, which made it 10x faster.Greeted by the gentleman, kindest welcoming. Made the registration process fast and easy. But best of all, Sandy made me feel heard and taken care of.Not only did she make me feel comfortable but she handled all my concerns.I highly recommend this clinic for your healthcare needs.I do wish it was closer but worth the drive 100%.Thank you!
Went in there for a covid testing and I can promise this is the worst test site I’ve seen, extremely poor customer service , shabby facility and clueless staff or understaffed site. Owner of this facility should stand up and provide a better customer service. Avoid by all means. Wish I could give negative rating.
Great service. Staff are great and so are the Doctors. Dr. Wen and a young lady doctor (forgot her name) also very good Doctors . I really recommend if you need quick assistance. Also!!! I really suggest registering before getting there that was you can get help right away.
I cut my right pinky fingertip from my pet cats claw that required stiches. I didnt even call I just walked in and Emily the receptionist took me in right away and brought me to a room where I was promptly seen by Dr. Sandy and Vinny. Dr. Sandys awesome bedside manner helped this situation while they were both polite and professional. They cleaned it well and took great care while working on a delicate cut. They had me on my way in a short time. Outstanding and quality care is what I received as I could not have asked for anything different, it was great from the time I walked in until I left with follow up instructions. Thank you very much Sandy, Vinny & Emily! You have a great team AED!
I had an excellent experience during my recent doctor visit. Dr. Sandeep Kaur was not only highly knowledgeable but also incredibly compassionate. She took the time to listen to my concerns, thoroughly explained the diagnosis and treatment options, and made me feel at ease throughout the appointment. The staff at the clinic was friendly and efficient as well. I highly recommend Dr. S. Kaur and the Urgent Care off of Stevenson for their exceptional care and professionalism.
SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!! Stay away from this place. Like many reviews I too got a statement for a COVID test done in 2021.
I’ve been to this urgent care twice now and both times were a great experience for me. Everyone is nice and helpful. They are quick but efficient, which is exactly what I want. In all honesty this is the best urgent care I have found so far. Thank you to the whole staff here. Sandy specifically is sweet and will take good care of you!
I’ve been coming here for the last 6yrs. Getting my CDL PHYSICALS, they’re professional , & very courteous to patients. Best place I’ve been for physical, & fast. & I’ve been driving now for 24yrs. Wouldn’t recommend anywhere else!5 STARS for sure!
Everyone was super helpful and friendly to me and respectful. I would definitely recommend this Urgent care to friends and family
The urgent care center is quite clean and nice. The staffs are very friendly and nice to me.I really appreciate the receptionist Heidi ‘s help and patience since I can’t speak English well and I have the insurance confusion. She is very friendly talk with me and made me feel at ease. The doctor Mr. Robert is also very nice to me and talk slowly with me to make sure I can understand him. Anyway, good experience in this clinic.
Received care 11/28/23 & 02/20/24. 02/20/24 was great service. So was 11/28, however, 11/28 was for double patella fracture and they DIDNT issue a leg/knee brace. Which my insurance covers. When I saw my orthopedic surgeon two days later he was flabbergasted that no knee brace had been issued. He did give me one.
My wife went here for urgent care in oct 2021. They didnt tell her that they were out of network for our PPO insurance. Even though we had met our in network deductible, had to pay out of network deductible. Even after paying their bill in jun 2022, they sent me another bill today in 2024 for double that of what I already paid. In total, they are trying to charge more than 1000$ for a urgent care visit done in oct 2021. Not sure whether its a mistake or what. Just putting out there, if anybody else is getting these new invoice statements for more money for old paid claims.
AVOID AND BEWARE. THESE GOOGLE REVIEWS ARE PHONY AND COERCED. Provider does everything they can to pressure you to pull out your phone and write a good review on the spot regardless of the quality of care they provide. You can even tell the most recent reviews are one sentence reviews from people with no other google reviews. The provider dictates the review to the patient after exam, which not only is the point in time where patients are most vulnerable to coercion, but also way too soon for anyone to properly evaluate the results of the medical treatment they just experienced. This is the only reason they have over 4 stars. They need to counter the LEGITIMATE reviews detailing the poor service.Google doesnt allow 0 stars, but they did earn one star anyways because the front desk staff was friendly, professional, and efficient. Would love to see them at any doctors office.Thats where the positive part of my experience ends completely. The nurse practitioner was a hack. First of all, his English was so broken that we could barely communicate. This is not a prejudiced comment because a handful of other reviews on here say the same. Communication is important to provide URGENT care. It was extremely difficult.I went in there for a health issue...he examined me for maybe 20 seconds and very quickly said I need minor surgery. He gave me a referral and wrote me a prescription. He gave me no instructions on how to alleviate my situation in the mean time, which is crazy because I found a wealth of information online afterwards...things I def should have been told by a health professional to do and not to do but was not told due to lack of concern.I called the surgeon he referred me to...wouldnt you know the receptionist spoke exactly like he did. Im about 80% sure he was so quick to refer me for surgery because he is giving his friends business, regardless if surgery is actually the best option or not. The surgeon didnt have an appointment available for about a month anyways. I called the urgent care provider back to get a different referral. At this point he didnt seem to care and just said Oh well just google someone. I guess if I wasnt going to his buddy, it didnt really matter to him. This annoyed me.He told me my prescription would already be waiting for me at CVS. Of course it wasnt. However the pharmicist was confused and wondered why a physician would ever write a prescription for this particular medicine because providers should know that the exact same medicine is much cheaper and more readily available over the counter. So the provider almost had me waiting and paying $50 for something I quickly found on the shelf for like $7.AND THAT LEADS ME TO THE BIGGEST ISSUE WITH THIS PROVIDER. It turns out that after some rest and self-care (thank god the surgeon I found wasnt available for another week) my medical issue slowly cleared up and surgery wasnt necessary at all, despite how definite his attitude was and how quick he was to refer me to a surgeon who I strongly feel was a friend or relative. When I called to cancel the surgery consultation, the surgeons office said that it was, in fact, unusual for someone to consult a surgeon for my issue before allowing some time to pass to heal myself. If it were up to the urgent care practitioner, instead of rest and self-care for a week or two, I would be spending thousands of dollars on surgery that has a painful recovery time of around a month.I did not go through insurance and paid for the urgent care appointment myself. They told me I pre-paid in full. After reading through these REAL reviews (not the fake positive ones they try to force out of their patients), I fully expect a mystery bill in the mail for a whopping $900 or so. They might as well save on paper and postage because if I get a bill like that, it will be tossed in the garbage and I will never give it another thought. With the exception of the front desk staff, this urgent care is a prime example of incompetence and lack of concern for patients.
These clowns send fraudulent payment demands years later trying to extract money from previous patients who dont know any better that their demands are groundless. They used to be AFC Urgent Care but are no longer affiliated and now operate under Saloojas Inc. Do not pay them and report them to the Consumer Financial Protection Agency. They are also leaving fake positive reviews here.
They say they take Medi-Cal but I think they deliberately push you to go to the ER with some ridiculous excuse for why they cant treat you if this is your insurance type. Every time they told me to go to the ER the ER told me urgent care could have handled this issue. Either that or they have no business calling themselves an urgent care because they are apparently incapable of treating even basic illness.I also specifically asked them to refill a couple days worth of a muscle relaxer to just help me get to my doctors appointment. I called and asked if they could refill the muscle relaxer, they said yes. I showed up and was shockingly actually seen for once and again just asked for a few days worth of the muscle relaxer for a couple days until my appointment with my doctor. I made the mistake of showing them all the medications I had recieved from the ER previously and they just completely zoned in on the pain killer, babbling that they cant refill it, ignoring the fact that I did not ask them to refill it and also ignoring the meds I did ask to be refilled. I was in a ton of pain. I couldnt sit or stand, there was no where to lay down which was the only position I could stand to be in and I just wanted this taken care of so I could get back in the car and lie down. They decided I must be a drug addict though because Im sure thats how they feel about all Medi-Cal recipients. I finally just got the surgery I needed a few days ago for the medical issue Ive been experiencing which is why I was prescribed those pain killers. I dont think I will ever come back to this urgent care. Also the first time I was here they didnt even take a full history of my medical issues before prescribing me medication and I thankfully read the side effects before taking the medication because it literally could have killed me because that medication was not suppose to be used by anyone with asthma, sleep apnea or any other breathing problems. I have asthma and I potentially have sleep apnea. It would have made me stop breathing while I was asleep if I had taken it.
I am mostly impressed everytime I visit urgent care in Newark. The receptionists that are there are somewhat knowledgeable 5/10 times. Costumer service seems to come and go with speed. The doctors are extremely helpfully which is where were I am stunned about the time they take to make sure they have proper understanding for ones visit before providing any proper medical treatment. Which is extremely relieving. That doctors are just prescribing just to prescribe medications to their patients. They wait time also vary so I suggest if and for anything arrive early tends to get pact around mid afternoon. Overall I am extremely satisfied with my visit socially, yeah some things they can work on yet minor fixes. Nothing to serious. I recommend this place as a go to for the time being of for minor to average emergency.
I have been in this office 3 times within the last week due to an injury. The doctors have been great and helpful. I have no insurance and have been in twice for follow ups where I have been charged $179 each time just to be told looks good and given a new band aid. My visit yesterday had the manager at the front desk and he knew nothing. I understand if he was new but he didnt sound like it when telling nurses they had to stay a longer shift instead of going home to their family. When I went to check out, he told me I had to wait for someone else and I did for 5 minutes just to be told I am fine to leave. And then asked me to make this review! I was in shock but gave a 4 star because the 2 doctors had seen were nice and caring, very respectful. The way the clinic is ran though is the reason why they lost a star.
Great customer service! The staff at the front desk was very helpful. Patina Kaur, PAC knew right away what was wrong and she was very good in explaining to me the issue. The nurse was good in administering the shot, didn’t even feel it. Everyone at the clinic were efficient!
Our go to place for any issues for the past 2 years for the whole family . Stopped going to Stanford etc as it is never that easy to get treatment in case of emergency or for that matter normal care. Dr.Wen is very good and knows his subject. Diagnosis is highly accurate .
Dr Yang speaks Chinese and provided good service.Pro:- Service was very quick, even on a Sunday- Reasonable chargesCon:Dr Yang semi-coerced me into giving a 5-star review, despite the service not finishing yet. So I downgraded it to 4 stars.
Great local urgent care! Dr. Wen was very nice, and the front desk provided excellent customer service.Update:I had to return due to a medical concern. I saw Sandy who was excellent, knowledgeable, and addressed all my medical concerns. Thank you Sandy!
Top notch care services rendered! New method of appointments totally eliminates sitting around for hours waiting to be seen.
They told me they dont take insurance anymore—I had been here 2 times prior with no issues. Would have appreciated to have known this beforehand prior to making an appointment online (which asked for my insurance information.)
Fast service, friendly staff and easy to book appointments. The doctor was great! Stars for the service but less for the outrageous price.Update: Warning this place charges A LOT. They billed my insurance for $915, insurance paid $532 and I paid $348 plus $35 co-pay. This was all for someone to check my ear for pain I was having.
Went here to get our immigration medical exam and vaccination records (I-693). It was a walk-in and the check-in process was smooth. Was not an extremely busy day, so they were able to get to us quickly, point out what tests we needed to do and also what vaccinations/vaccination records we needed to provide.Once the test results were out, they were able to turn it around in just a couple of days and they met their deadline.Special kudos to Vineet and Heidi. Especially Heidi who seemed to be busy whenever we met her(2 times), but was still patient, calm and efficient at the same time(and she seemed to be managing both the front desk and stuff on the inside).
The doctor and clinic is pretty quick and easy paperwork. Diagnosis is done and small test or procedures are done there and then. Really satisfied with the experience and highy recommend this urgent care
I have been coming to Urgent Care in Newark since Covid started, staff are fabulous; they provide quick and safe testing. Tonite my provider was Sandy, super professional and took the times to ask questions n qualify my answers- We have used the Antigen tests to keep us up to date during this Pandemic, it really puts our mind at easy, knowing we are keeping family, friends n co workers safe
I had been throwing up for a month on and off and the service here was amazing. The wait time was short and Dr. Michelle and Tanisha provided excellent service! Definitely come here if you need assistance
Loved it here. My visit was very quick, I didn’t have to wait long to see a doctor. I needed to be seen ASAP and unfortunately my normal doctors office was booked til the end of next month so I’m happy I was able to find a clinic that accepted my insurance. My doctor was Sandeep and she was so nice! Thankful to have been able to be seen and treated.
I would give 0 stars if I could. I was in so much pain and needed to see a doctor ASAP, even left work early so I could. Once I got there, I felt like I was part of a parody and the doctor was just pretending. The staff is nice, and the doctor was too but I am sorry to say that I do not think that he was at all qualified to be seeing patients. No one took my vitals, I was led into a room and he left the door wide open. He proceeded to ask me questions and didn’t even pay attention to my answers, just found a random piece of paper on the desk, flipped it over and started drawing squiggly lines on it. He didn’t properly examine the area that I came to get checked, and he couldn’t understand what I was saying (didn’t seem to know english very well). At one point he pretty much just gave up even trying to understand what I was telling him. Proceeded to prescribe 800 mg ibuprofen and told me to take it for a week and if i dont feel better get an MRI. No diagnosis, nothing. Felt like he genuinely did not know what to do. Even when i pointed out to him where the pain was he still didn’t get it. Tried to explain to him that the area was hardening up, and he completely ignored it. The whole appointment lasted like 5 minutes.I ended up going somewhere else the next day and turns out I had a huge cyst that needed to be dealt with. No need for an MRI, it was immediately visible to the naked eye. I had two nurses and a doctor confirm that immediately. This doctor really felt like a fraud. Now after reading other reviews, I am dreading the bill that is gonna be sent my way for basically nothing. I am sorry but I do not recommend coming here for urgent care, ever.
Do NOT go here, its totally a scam. Only the one star ratings are real reviews. I took my daughter here last month because she had abdominal pain. Paid my $50 co-payment. We were in and out in about 5 mins. Only talked to a nurse that asked a few simple questions and she recommended that I take her to ER. Now I got a bill for $915. I called the patient services number on their bill. They took down my info and pretend that someone from billing will call me back but never did. The bill was to Saloojas, Inc. which doesnt make sense. Extremely shady!!! Class action lawsuit?
Very helpful and friendly staff. Was well taken care of by Dr. Sandy. I was helped by Emily as well who was very patient, took much time and care to work on my impacted ear and removed almost everything. Great service; speedy and professional.
Front staff was kind, accommodating, and patient. Barely any wait time.I was experiencing intermittent fever and other symptoms and AFC Newark was ready to service me, but I had to re-park at the side of the building for an outdoor evaluation. It didn’t affect my overall visit, it was just a change of location.Sandeep treated me and was extremely thorough! My discharge notes were really detailed. I had many questions and she answered all with a smile.
Would definitely return to this urgent care in the future if needed. They have a very efficient system so I didn’t have to wait long. The staff were friendly and the Physician Assistant, Sandy, quickly determined the best treatment plan. Thanks
Dr Yang is very professional, careful, and efficient. He has taken care of my mother, my husband, and my son so far. Highly recommended!
SCAM URGENT CAREI had some issues for which I had to go to an urgent care. I went in here, they didnt let me in and some nurse checked on me while I waited in car. She gave me a prescription and thats it and they send me a bill of whooping $915.This is not the worst part. My insurance covers out of network and they are out of network. They filed a claim to my insurance which they rejected asking for Medical records for certain procedure codes they claimed to have performed to which they havent replied for 2 months. I talked to their billing department multiple times and I am not sure how inefficient or shady they are but my insurance provider has not received any info from them yet. This is a ridiculous urgent care which clearly has a lot of fake google reviews. Stay far far away.
Last year July my car back was hit by another car while stopping at traffic lights. Just to make sure everything is correct, I go to this Urgent care to do a simple physical test.On that day, I showed them the fault drivers policy ID and name including his auto insurance company info. And this Urgent care said information is sufficient and conduct a very simple blood pressure measurement to me.Now half year passed and I received a $915 bill and said they have contacted a non-existed person/information (not the one I gave them) and said they have to bill me.This time I went to their place, and they ask me to provide the document that can prove how my name is linked with the fault drivers insurance information!!!Fortunately, I kept the emails where I get my car fixed from that insurance. Then I printed the documents and went there again. Guess what? Now they ask me to provide the fault drivers birth date. I then have to call the insurance company and told this Urgent care DoB is private information!!!And I am a customer, not the assistant to help them get the money! And I would like to say, when accepting a customer, you said the information I provided is sufficient, and you lost this information!!! (I did not see it correctly in the bill) And now you bill me the payment, you ask for proofs link my name to fault drivers. insurance, and the drivers DoB. This is a super ridiculous and unpleasant experience. And especially, they conduct a like-nothing screen. Stay away from them!
The staff was decent on Sunday when I had to go in, but they had no idea how much to charge for my copay. I paid $50 to cover it. I found out my copay was $30 but figured it was no big deal because I had to come back today. Lady was extremely rude behind the counter and wanted to charge me another $30 and attempted to lie and make excuses why they would not credit the overage that I already paid. To the rude lady, maybe you should look for a new line of work, to the two that treated me on Sunday. Thank you. I Never got my follow-up, which is fine. At the end of the day, they made an extra $20 off of me. I guess they need that more than treating patients with respect. I never even got to see a doctor. Find another place to go. The doctor waited two days after seeing this and called my phone asking who I was. Then called me a liar and asked why I wanted a refund for the money I was overcharged. This continues to reinforce my review. Again, do not go here. And to the doctor calling me, maybe you should focus on patient care instead of calling to harass unsatisfied patients.
We are extremely frustrated and upset with a recent situation where we went for an emergency visit. One week later, they called us to inform us that the lab test results they performed and billed us for were fine. However, they are now charging us 750 dollars for a mere 3 minute call that they made, labeling it as Telemedicine. This is crazy and an outright robbery.Update. After taking to them and my insurance, the problem was with the codes they used for the billing. In process of revision and hopefully will be covered by my insurance.
Absolutely sketchy, disgusting clinic. They will use the incorrect EIN number so that they are billed as out of network and squeeze more money out of you. They wont even let you see a doctor. They will ignore your appointment time and make you wait for HOURS. They will allow other walk in patients to be seen before you. They will misdiagnose you and give you horrible medical advice. They will give you passive aggressive responses to your complaints and say youre out of luck.Their 5 star reviews are clearly fabricated. I wish I checked them before sending my wife here. Go somewhere else and see a real medical professional, not a scam artist.
We had a wonderful experience here at the Newark clinic. Robert and Sandeep treated both my daughters who I brought in for different issues and they were both quick and very thorough. Dr. Robert was patient and kind to my bickering kids and answered all our questions. This will be my go to for unfortunate instances in the foreseeable future.
Dr. Wen and Tanisha were both so helpful for my visit :) been having an ongoing ear infection and they both treated me with lots of care. Got in for an appointment super quickly as well. Thanks so much for the help 🙏🏻
It is false that this AED urgent care doesnt take any insurance - it is indeed probably out of network for most insurances (if not all), but if you have PPO or EPO, out of network insurance should cover urgent care as if they were in-network. Check with your own insurance for more details of course.I was able to come here and have only a 20 dollar copay with Aetna PPO. Doctors here seem nice and they prescribed me medications which helped relieve my symptoms. I would recommend here for fast services.
The staff exceeded my expectations, very professional and courteous, facilities are clean and very well organized. Very satisfied with my experience, cant thank you guys enough.
Do NOT go to this place. I called in multiple times and never got any feedbacks, and the situation got worse. That’s why I have no other options than posting my experience here.I visited last year. I have an Aetna plan and I was told by the front lady that they are in-network, which means I only had to pay $50 copay according to my policy. I paid that before I saw the doctor. And then the doctor saw me, did not solve any issues, and claimed that I was not feeling well because I was stressed. It turned out that I had something serious and I had to go to ER after the day I visited this urgent care. The ER only costed me $100, and they actually gave me some proper treatment. After I thought this was a done deal. I received a bill from this urgent care, saying that I still own them. I called the patient services number on the page and asked about it. They said they would check with the office for me. After a few months, instead of receiving the feedback, I received the same bill. I called in again and got the same respond. Here comes the ridiculous part: I received the bill again, but they increased the charge, without mentioning the reason. Enough is enough. Whoever is managing the comments, please give me someone who is actually useful to contact about this situation.
I strongly advise against visiting this urgent care facility! I visited the urgent care in December 2022 when I suddenly developed painful and itchy rashes on my lower waist. Since I have very good PPO insurance (Anthem Blue Cross PPO), the front desk nurse charged me a $30 co-pay and assured that my visit is covered by my insurance. The doctor spent a mere five minutes examining me and confirmed that my rashes were not shingles. To my dismay, I later received a bill from the urgent care for $885. When I contacted their billing office, they promised to investigate the matter, but to no avail. Unfortunately, I received the same $885 bill again recently and have been unable to reach anyone at the billing office.
Great experience! Sandeep was so nice and cleaned and fixed up a dog bite I got. The reception area was so friendly too, with Neshei and Tanisha doing vitals and helping me with paperwork. A great experience and they accept many different insurance providers
Had been to this clinic. Sandeep (PA) treated me for an in grown hair follicle, she was very quick in diagnosis and explained the problem in detail and gave the medicine very quickly. Very good service! Thank you.
Misdiagnosed me, my second opinion literally laughed when I told him about it.
I went for my daughter ear infection checkup and got bill of 539$ and total bill was 578$. It is insane, 539$ for just ear checkup. do not recommend it!!!
The doctors are very dedicated and I have been here three times. Each doctor explained the condition in detail, was very professional and patient. Making an appointment online is very convenient and timely.12/13/2023
I’ve had several positive experiences here over the past several months with my family. The staff have all been friendly and helpful, and we’ve always experienced short wait times. The PA or doctor spent time to talk, examine, and prescribe needed medicine. Definitely better than the ER for minor urgent matters.
My provider Sandy was so helpful and sweet. She made sure I understood the plan of action for the symptoms I was having. I highly recommend this place there was no wait time I was in and out in less than 30mins.
Didnt mention anything on my insurance and ended up with a sky rocket bill.
My father-in-law fell on the plane on his way to visit us so took him here. Was seen by Dr. Sandeep who was efficient and quick. She referred us for an X-ray and provided a prescription to help him sleep easier. Great experience.
One months ago I was coughing a lot and my insurance had a problem and I visited here, there was a nurse he told me to you have to pay 200 dollars, and I paid and a nurse was came and said: wait outside the door and ask me to test outside the door of the clinic He got corona test and it was negative and he took a picture of my mouth right there! and she told me I will show to the doctor and you can go. we will call you, and I went, a few moments later he called and gave me the address of the pharmacy. It was very stupid for me when he took my money and examined me outside the door of the clinic and did not even examine me she just took a picture and said he will show it to our doctor. ridiculous!
This is the second time I have been to AFC urgent care. Both times the office reception staff and the providers provided fast and efficient care. My wait time was only 15 mins and I was able to see Crystal NP and get the medication I needed. Front desk staff were welcoming and got my insurance squared away promptly. Thank you Ne’Shei and Tanisha!
This urgent care is absolutely ridiculous. They bill $749 just for referring to a specialist!!I visited for red eyes. They said its Conjunctivitis and prescribed some eye drops. After taking their medication for 10 days I still had the issue so went to them again. They referred me to an Optometrist. I got better very fast with the medication prescribed by the Optometrist.A few weeks later I had an abscess and again visited them. That time, they just told me to visit Emergency services in Washington Hospital.Fast forward a few months and I get a bill of $344 for first visit, $749 for second visit and $749 for the third one too. This is absolutely insane! They are billing $749 for just referring to specialists.Even the Optometrist and the other specialists I visited charged less that this!My mother-in-law who had no insurance visited a different urgent care for wound care where they even bandaged her wound and that costed us $150. How can this UC make up such insane charges for so little value provided - what a lack of ethics.Avoid them and go anywhere else or directly to Washington Hospital emergency department if needed.
I love this doctors office, especially Dr. Singh. Ive been there twice in the past few months. They provide prompt service, great reception staff. The office and exam rooms are super-clean and organized; very professional. After both visits, they even called me a few days later to make sure my condition had improved. I havent experienced (or even heard) about such a high level of care since I was a kid - and that was a long time ago!
Don’t have a good experience with this place. 2 years back when my husband needed to travel because my mother in law was in icu. They charged almost $900 for a covid test. To see my mother in law in such a dire condition held much more importance than paying such a hefty amount for testing. The other occasion when was my one of the urgent care I had been couples times referred them to this urgent care . Though it says walk in welcome, but these days the way urgent care works is ridiculous. To see a doc in a right time is like a winning a lottery. Making story short, when I called around 2:45 pm and ask if they are taking more walk ins. This lady said “ yes before 3:30”. When I reached there by 3pm, she initially told me to wait 2 hours in my car. I said sure but how would you call me when it’s my turn. She goes well checkWith us in 2 hours and then we will let you know if we can take orNo. I was so dumbfounded, I asked why I was given such information then. She replied mam I told you to call back in an hour. I could have mistaken with calling in hour or so but not with “ taking walk ins till 3:30”. Anyways that’s how pretty much the urgent care in bay areas are.Reading all these reviews, I am glad I get chance to turn away from horrible care. The reason I was there to see them, if misdiagnosed I would have been busted. Thank you god.
Walked in no appointment got served expeditiously, paid my little bill and left happy, without a huge hassle or bureaucratic red tape that feels like having a stethoscope shoved inside you, What more could you want? How about a super friendly and sympathetic staff who remind me of how the medical industry USED to be?Oh and the inappropriate fondling thing which has happened to me personally in other Doctors rooms. None of that here.Which is more than I can say for the big corporate medical offices fully owned and influenced by BIG PHARMA. Sandy made my day by offering SOLUTIONS to all my current problems. Emily at the desk was also helpful. I didnt feel creeped out, ashamed, none of that ugly stuff.I only wish I had found out about this place sooner, I couldve saved myself a lot of drama & trauma of some of the other clinics that seem to implement a more predatory approach of practice
Everyone was really nice and helpful. Emily was the one who did my test and the whole experience was super fast and easy ☺️ would definitely come again!
Dr Yang is very professional and nice. He speaks fluently Chinese he is good taking care the patient. I feel so comfortable and satisfied.
We went to urgent care today it was a pleasant experience. We came in and we didnt wait no more than 5 minutes got treated doctor Sandeep was a great doctor took care of business gave us great information. Glad we came we will come.back if we need to.
Short wait times. So far this place has met all my families needs including our kids needs for a hand injury and pink eye. Definitely a much better option than the ER where one usually has to wait 6+ hours to be seen.
Doctor is very good. But the administration at the front desk is careless and not paying attention
Do not go here. Long waits in the waiting room for no apparent reason. No doctors anywhere to be seen. Lost x-rays and all paperwork indicating they had even happened between visits. Exam rooms left open the entire visit. Misdiagnosed. Mistreated. After confirming all bills had been paid multiple times, I was sent a bill for over $400 dollars more with a list of charges that not only didnt make sense, but werent even calculated correctly on the sheet they sent me. After multiple calls, I convinced them to reduce the charges by more than half, because they were indeed unfounded. Paying the rest just to make this go away because it is not worth the legal fees to fight it. This place is 100% a scam. Ended up having to get treatment elsewhere. Do not go here.
Couple days back came to this facility as my mother was having a cough for a long time and making it very difficult for her to sleep. They did the standard FLU/COVID test and the results were negative, however the doctor that came afterwards just saw her for under a min and without a diagnosis just prescribed her medicines without even asking any previous medical history or checking her throat or lungs.I did not feel satisfied that she received the care she needed so will be going to another doctor. If you plan to visit this center expect below par quality of healthcare and avoid if you can
Scam. Doctor asked you to roll down the window of your car and no exam was taken. They charged you for $915. Stay away from this place. They didn’t even contacted your insurance and asked you to pay 100% out of pocket
It’s a people friendly center for your health needs such as chest x-ray. The staff are accommodating and helpful. Things done accordingly. Keep it up!
Robber! cheater! You are in my medical plan network, but you bill to my insurance as out-of-network, and try to rob more than $700 from me for only several minutes ear wash (washed by an inexperienced trainee and almost made my ear infectious) No way! I will sue you AFC if you didnt revoke the bill! Everyone, never come here, they wont provide correct medical service to you but will only make your situation worse, and after that, they will bill incorrectly to your insurance to grab more. I dont understand why such a fake urgent care exists in bay area!
Loved Dr Sandy and the care of her team Tanisha i am from out of town and I recommend this Urgent care for all those in the area n out of the area. This will be my #1 go to place when in need. Thanks guys❤️
This possibly the worst quality clinic of all time doctors and staff are extremely rude say mean things about your health charge criminal amounts of money for procedures that should be free I paid 2000 dollars for a Covid test they also got partial payment from my insurance so I owed a lil bit they then pushed the issues for me to pay what the insurance had already paid so they STOLE money drone me as well They’re couldn’t be in first clinic in the state. Avoid it at all cost for your heal your self esteem and your wallet
Horrible facility with very questionable practices. The doctor was behind closed doors and never met us even after the nurse acknowledged after the initial diagnosis that the doctor needs to be the one to treat the condition. The nurse told us that a minor invasive procedure was needed and the doctor can perform it immediately, but then pushed us to try anti-biotics for a week first even when we agreed for the doctor to perform the procedure. The said doctor was nowhere to be seen to acknowledge this change of treatment or for anything else. I honestly suspect that the doctor wasnt in the facility at all, and left their nurses working. We had to go to another doctor to get the required medical procedure performed to ensure the health issue was taken care of properly. This facility then had the audacity to bill our insurance more than 4 times the amount they charge patients without insurance for the same visit even when there was no doctor to be seen, let alone address the health issue. They also tell you they are in-network when you check in at the front desk and then charge under another providers name that is out of network. Blatant liars.Such a shady place that tried to exploit us in multiple ways when we needed time-sensitive health coverage the most.
Manpreet Kaur was amazing!! She was punctual, listened to all my concerns and knew exactly what to look for.. Thank you so much!! 5 Stars, one of the best and quickest experiences at a hospital ever. She is great!
Everyone, keep away from this place! This is definitely a scam and robber facility. All the one stars are true.I got a bill for almost $1000 for my Covid vaccine, which should be free. Besides. they are shown as in-network from my insurance, but they billed me as out-of-network. I’ll definitely file claims in CA Depart of insurance and BBB for the scam.
TANISHA & HEIDI both were very kind . HEIDI was kind & TANISHA was very quick in giving TD injection. She is very skillful . She is very kind too . Totally they are awesome
I rarely give reviews, and the only reason Im giving 2 stars is because the rest of the staff is respectful. The Doctor I saw would be rude to his own staff on many occasions. He was also quite rude to me during most recent encounter. I also requested a specific document for enrollment requirements and was not provided with what I had outlined during the visit. When I asked the doctor he said the one they provided is normal. Lo and behold my school (which is very knowledgeable about health care requirements) rejected the document and now I will have to pay out of pocket yet again. Definitely will not be returning to this clinic and I recommend you look to other places.
This was one of the best visits to a medical provider I have experience in quite a long time. This includes many visits to Kaiser. I was seen promptly by a very friendly, kind, professional personnel. The doctor saw me within a reasonable time period (especially as I was a walk-in). Dr. Singh listened to me carefully and considered what I told him. His medical assistant fitted me with hand braces making sure they fit properly and making sure the excess materials was trimmed. She went further than my M.D. at Kaiser or any other Kaiser medical assistant ever did for me. I felt absolutely embraced and comforted by the treatment provided to me at Doctors Express Urgent Care Fremont at Stevenson Station and with our proposed plan for treatment.I would recommend this location to anyone. Thanks for the opportunity to express my observations.
They were great! Smith was very kind, explained what she was doing, and offered water. The PA was also very nice, listened to my symptoms, and didn’t brush them off. I got an accurate diagnosis and felt well taken care of. Highly recommend this place!
Dr. Sandeep Kaur maintains Caring, smiling and welcoming atmosphere for patients. She listen to us attentively and answered all our questions patiently. I was very well taken care of. She also proactively offered prescription saving card. We highly recommend Dr Sandeep for urgent care needs.Only downside is, AFC management should decide to come in network for Aetna, Cigna etc insurance companies (they are out of network for now)
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!I came here for COVID vaccine 4 months ago, they took my insurance info, and now I’m charged $1000 for it. My insurance company told me they were claiming for some urgent care stuff that has nothing to do with COVID vaccination. I can’t imagine a legit urgent care place does this. This is THE WORST experience I’ve had EVER. I wish I could give zero start.
I had a great experience this morning at AFC just off of Newark. I needed to go in for a rapid test for work, and they were able to get me in almost immediately. As some may know, these are not the funniest test, as it feels like they are tickling your brain with the Qtip needed to administer the test. As crazy as it may seem, it was not as bad, mainly due to the fact that Smith, the tech that provided the test, made me aware of how it would feel before she did so. Even though it was still uncomfortable, it made it much easier knowing what to expect. Thanks, Dr. Smith for the excellent customer care.
Sandeep was great and very attentive to my injury. She recommended a great routine to heal quick and get back on my feet. Would definitely recommend
I have found myself at this clinic on multiple occasions and have had excellent service each time. I have recommended this location to my family members and will continue to do so for our urgent care needs. I see some people may have had issues with wait times but that is not something I have ever had an issue with. Dr. Sighn and his staff were very professional and answered all my questions and explained my medical options. They are also aforable for an urgent care. Which is important for those of us paying out of pocket for all our medical bills. I am very Happy with my experience.
Front desk were super nice/friendly.Went as walk-in after check in, I only waited for 6-8 minutes. I was well taken care of by Sandy she answered all questions and concerns. Thank so Much for a fast and easy experience!
The service was good especially since we noticed that they were UNDERSTAFFED. So please if you go to this location for COVID TESTING PLEASE be PATIENT with them. We are going through a pandemic after-all. The doctor that took our samples was professional and kind. Even when I called them a couple of times to get our results for my whole household(6 individuals) they still treated me respectfully and were not annoyed by my multiple calls. So please be respectful towards the staff as they are doing a GREAT JOB!!! Remember these people are being exposed to potential Covid-19 Positive patients. So if you are not a PATIENT and UNDERSTANDING person please go to another location where the service might be to your liking.
Sandy is amazing! She’s brilliant, smart & so kind. She throughly knows her skills and it shows! I want to see her anytime i’m in urgent care.
I just dont get the point. I am here seeing URGENT care. But the businesss system just want to delay me as much as possible with paper work. Their system asks for over-detailed personal information like your gender identity, race, employer, marriage status, etc and pushes for downloading their app and giving them good ratings BEFORE you could be seen.
Scam , reporting to FBI and Fremont PD. same story as several others pointed out- fraudulent covid test bills from 2020 which they “waited” 4 years to “collect”
Dr. Yang is fluent in Chinese and consistently provides service that is not only highly responsible but also exceptionally caring and attentive to individual needs.
I recently visited AFC Urgent Care and I was satisfied by the services they provided. The wait time was low, complete hygiene was maintained and the staff were polite, understanding and well-trained. I would definitely suggest this clinic in case of urgent care is required!
Charging me $600 for a Covid test, I went to this place during the pandemic, I gave them my insurance and continued with the test. They said I would get a result in a week, it was longer than a week. A couple of months later I get a call saying that I have a $600+ bill for the Covid test. Who in their right mind charges that for a Covid test. For people looking to go here, go to an actual hospital, not some clinic in a shopping square.
Dr. Wen was very professional and nice during my visit, staff were quick to assist & very friendly too! Facility was clean and organized.
Initially they say $0 and wont change you. Later they send you bills
First visit, lived the paperless system.Sandy who attended to my needs was very nice and handle my case ver well, explained to me whst I need to do, asked all questions to understand the pain Im going through.Service is fast and didnt wait long in the line .
Sandy has been very professional and very friendly with me. She made sure my needs were met. Its always a pleasure seeing her.
I called ahead of time to check if they have facilities to treat concussion and take MRIs, they shamelessly said yes, upon arrival got seen in like 10 mins, to have the doctor tell us they cant handle concessions, and we need to go to a different hospital, and that 5 minutes of doctors time is apparently worth $915 that we received as bill. Luckily i know my insurance would cover most of it, but its absolutely unethical to charge close to $12k an hour, especially after scamming us into thinking they can handle it. Cost us critical time in the midst of handling a childs concussion
PA Sandy was amazing! Thorough, caring, helpful, understanding and very competent! She took wonderful care and we were out of there in minutes. Thank you AFC! A special thanks to PA Sandy.
This location was in-network with my insurance and before my consultation I even double checked with the front desk. I went in on December 16 2020 and was told that my insurance will take care of the rest, next thing you know a year later I received a bill for $383. My claim didnt get processed until Dec 17 2021 and was told by multiple representatives that the person who entered my claim did not entered it under the correct EIN which is why a bill was generated and showed out of network. From 2020 until now, it turns out that there was a change of ownership and that no one knew how to handle my case. I even spoke to the new manager Napoleon who told me was gonna call me but never did. Long story short, after I followed up with him a month later he transferred me to billing and was informed that they are no longer in network since Nov 2022. To close this case, their solution was to reduce my bill to $175. I just hope i never have to deal with anything like this, this is a huge inconvenience.
I went in to get a specific type of physical for a class that Im planning to take. I told the person at the desk the type of test that I needed (spirometry test) among other things. She told me that it could be done and charged me $79.I waited over an hour only for the doctor or PA to tell me that it couldnt be done and I would need to get refunded. The issue here is the front desk cannot issue refunds and it would need to be done by the manager. They told me i would get a receipt by email and a refund will be issue in 24 hrs. Nothing happened. This occurred about a week and a half ago and Im still waiting on a refund.I went back into the office multiple times and Ive been told the same thing by different reciptionist. That they cant issue refunds, they make a copy of my receipt, and will inform the manager to get it done. Throughout all the visits I had here, only one receptionist was professional. So if you plan to visit, be prepared.Im going to still try to get my refund but it may be a lost cause.I think its great that theyre offering walk in covid tests especially during this time, but they seem to be overloaded with it.
Overcharged by $750+ for a COVID test in November 2020, only now billed in March 2024 with threats. Avoid this scammy place.
Scamming, same story as before, really awful and try to bully you into paying fraudulent fees months after a basic appointment. DO NOT GO HERE
BEWARE!! Charged my insurance as a different provider Dr. Parmjit Singh which is out-of-network. $700 for a 10 min visit. Who is Dr Parmjit Singh??????Update 11/10: my insurance has reached out to your billing department for several days now to sort this out and no one is answeringI chose this place based on the rating and if you sort the reviews by date carefully, youll notice they received over 100+ 5 star reviews in August 2023 with no comments. Interesting 🤔Update 12/6: billing department still hasnt responded yetUpdate 12/30: still unable to reach anyone
Robert, Tanisha , Monique did a wonderful job taking care of everything I didnt to get done today at clinic. Very respectable and very professional. Highly enjoyed my visit here
I have gone to this facility about 5 or 6 times this past year. I have had nothing but good experiences. The office staff handle their jobs well and the doctors are all extremely knowledgeable and well trained. If you need a place to go when you cant get into your own primary care physician or as an alternative to using the emergency room, please check them out. I dont think youll be disappointed.
Dr. Robert and Tanisha were very helpful and prompt to get my daughter seen as quickly as possible. They didnt turn us away even though it was past the time of their last customer check in.
Great experience, end to end. Went to AFC Urgent care physicals. The team ( Vinit, Mandy, and everyone else ) was super helpful and clear in their communication.
Pertaining to COVID testing, a lot of people are complaining about wait times but its obvious they are under staffed. Besides the wait time I thought the process was very smooth. We showed up around our appointment time, filled out some quick paperwork, and then had to wait a bit for the doctor to free up. While waiting they gave us all the info we needed to access our results. The test itself took less than a minute for our family and we received our test results within 2 days! Given the circumstances, people need to stop acting spoiled and realize AFC urgent care is doing us a huge service.
Terrible service. The clinic is a fraud. I called them in advance to ask about TB test prices and double checked every single detail via phone. After we spent 40 minutes to drive there, it appeared that in order to make the test we would need to order additional doctor consultation that costs $200 extra. We had to drive back without the test.
It was a great experience to meet with a team of medical professionals as well as front desk staff during my visit to check up for COVID-19 aftermath symptoms treatment. Specially Dr. Akunna Ogbu listened to my problems with attention, explained the tests shes going to perform to make sure my Lungs and Respiratory system out of danger zone, and gave me proper advise. I was very impressed with the service provided to me with care and respect.Dr. Parmjit Singh - I didnt get a chance to meet with you but l just want to let you know that your team is doing exceptional job by taking care of COVID-19 pandemic patients during this critical health crisis.I would highly recommend this team if someone looking for health care professionals.Thank You for your service. GOD bless you all.
If there is a Zero star I would have probably given that. The Provider has his own style and protocol on the medical service.I went for my severe back pain on june 13th. I clearly explained how it happened. I tested positive on june 1st and tested negative on June 9th with the instant kit that I had. He said its not possible that I tested negative, I am still contiguous and they are in high risk and it will kill them. He also said these instant Kits are fake and not accurate. He was super rude and sarcastic and not bothered about my back pain.He made me check the rapid antigen test and pcr test but the sample was not sent to lab. I got only the Rapid antigen test result. My question to the Doctor is how come I tested negative in Rapid antigen test? He did argue that I will be still positive for 4 weeks. He really scared me a lot and did not solve the purpose I went. And most important is that the Doctor who was so concerned about the safety of the covid was not wearing a mask. For my back pain he gave only ibuprofen 600 mg. And I told him I am allergic to that medicine but he still gave me that with omeprozole. Next day after taking that medicine, I had severe stomach pain for 2 days.
Quick and friendly, I recently dropped a star because of the insurance bill I received after the fact, they did not call us to see if we had additional insurance but just sent a bill.. Ouch. Thank goodness we had additional insurance. We were seen here because my husband got in an accident where someone rear ended him really bad and his head broke the glass in the back of the truck so we had to make sure every thing was ok with him. Just shocked when we got the bill even though it was covered by the other insurance.
We had a good experiance with the staff and the doctor, my wife had a fall from the bike and hurt her knee. Dr. Singh examined her thorughly and suggested the best treatment. Wait time is really very short.
