After a year of no success, my OBGYN recommended surgery for suspected endometriosis due to my debilitating periods. Testing showed my tubes were open, and surgery revealed stage 1 endometriosis. Unfortunately, surgery is the only way to confirm this diagnosis.We tried naturally for another year, but with no success and no clear answers, we were diagnosed with unexplained infertility. My husband’s sperm was healthy, and our full health exams revealed no issues. Thankfully, my OBGYN referred us to Dr. Sundheimer at Kindbody, and I’m forever grateful for the care we received.Infertility is one of the most isolating and challenging experiences, but Dr. S and her team made us feel supported and cared for every step of the way. They patiently answered all our questions and worked with us to create a plan tailored to our needs. Their specialized team ensures you always have someone knowledgeable to assist, whether it’s billing, medication, or after-hours support.We started with one round of IUI, which was unsuccessful, and decided to move straight to IVF. Due to my endometriosis, I went on Lupron to suppress inflammation, which I believe made a huge difference. We did three embryo transfers: the first failed, the second resulted in a chemical pregnancy, and the third brought us the miracle we prayed for. We are now 16 weeks pregnant and overjoyed.Special shoutouts to the Kindbody team: Kiana, Emilia and Joanna were pillars of support during countless pelvic ultrasounds, blood draws, always lifting my spirits. Aphril always ensured I stayed on track with medication and protocols, and the front desk staff, Tea and Isabel, greeted me with positivity every morning. Dr. Armstrong performed our final transfer, and we felt completely at ease with her care.Kindbody’s clean, beautifully designed facilities made a difference on stressful days, creating a calming environment. Although I was sad to graduate from Kindbody, I’m thrilled to continue my pregnancy journey with my OBGYN.If you’re seeking a fertility clinic, I highly recommend Kindbody. I cant imagine my IVF experience without Dr. Sundheimer. Going the solo motherhood route can be harrowing, but never felt like I was alone having her as my doctor. She consulted with her myriad of resources at Kindbody when my first egg retrieval didnt go as planned, causing the second one to result in two healthy embryos, and a successful first frozen implantation. Dr. S is always kind, respectful, thorough, and gentle. I would recommend her and her team to anyone in a heartbeat.

I came across Dr. S at Kindbody Newport Beach while looking into freezing embryos. I had an initial consultation with her and she provided me with all the information in such a friendly and warm manner. I am very grateful with the experience I had at this clinic with the entire team. My egg retrieval process from the initial consultation with Dr. S and the multiple office visits was nothing but amazing. Dr Sundheimer helped me stay proactive in my fertility journey. I went to Dr Sundheimer looking for guidance on how to prepare myself for a successful pregnancy instead of passively waiting to try up to 12 months. Dr. Sundheimer recommended the Saline Bubble Test and found in the process that I have polyp(s) in my uterus. She explained that while this usually doesn’t pose any health risks, polyps can decrease success by up to 50%. Within the next 2 months, her team scheduled me for the hysteroscopy procedure and removed the polyps. The procedure went very well and Dr Sundheimer adequately prepared me for exactly what to expect. I was able to get an initial pregnancy test result immediately in the first month of trying after this procedure. Throughout the process, Dr S. was extremely patient, providing key and comforting information for someone who’s going into this process with very little medical knowledge in this area.

I just recently had a two cycle procedure to freeze my eggs and I am so glad I was able to meet Dr Sundheimer , she is great I had a wonderful experience.Thank you so much Dr Sundheimer!

Dr Sundheimer and her team are amazing! They are very comforting and good at what they do! I have had both my babies thanks to Dr Sundheimer and I’m 39. She is very thorough and explains everything and makes you feel like apart of the family. I would highly recommend working with her. I have already recommended a few of my friends also.

Dr. Sundheimer is the BEST! She listens to you as a whole person, takes in your history and your preferences, and works with you to find the right pathway for you. I found Kindbody and Dr. Sundheimer through my insurance, and I really like it. The facility and facilitation are excellent, and Dr. Sundheimer provides so much support that makes me feel good about the process. With all the professional suggestions and procedures, we were fortunate not to even go through IUI and IVF to achieve a natural pregnancy. I had the best experience freezing my eggs with Dr. Sundheimer’s help. I was hoping to get my eggs frozen as quickly as possible and Dr. Sundheimer made time in her schedule so we could meet my goals. She is so kind and informative and most importantly she made me felt taken care of and safe.

After frustratingly seeing multiple REs on the east coast, I was recommended to Dr. Sundheimer by a colleague. After a 20-minute intro call, my husband and I looked at each other and went: shes literally perfect. The next month, I flew to LA and completed an IVF cycle. Dr. Sundheimer monitored me so closely the entire time, talked through every issue and concern I had, and knew how to get results while maintaining the highest standard of care!! I am currently 13 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby girl, who would not be here without the help of Dr. Sundheimer. She was worth traveling 3,000 miles for and I cannot recommend her enough.

Dr. Sundheimer is absolutely amazing.We are so incredibly thankful for her as she made the whole IVF process less scary and helped bring our precious baby into this world. We drove from Ontario all the way to Newport and it was worth every mile.Before finding Dr. Sundheimer, we saw another doctor where we had a difficult time with treatment. We had multiple failed IUIs and developed serve OHSS at another clinic. We came to Dr. Sundheimer after two years of trying and two miscarriages. She was so patient and caring. She listened to all of our concerns, was extremely patient with all of our questions and made sure to tailor the treatment to my needs to prevent another OHSS.

Dr. Sundheimer and her team are super professional, responsive and helpful. I went through 2 IUIs and 1 IVF treatment with them. No complaints. Im turning 40 in several months and am now about 3 months pregnant. Super grateful!

There are not enough good things for me to say about Dr. Sundheimer and her team. Every interaction was kind, empathetic and incredibly efficient. Dr. Lauren Sundheimer and the patient care specialist team were incredible - The process of egg-freezing can feel overwhelming, complicated, and (for some) quite long but theyre guidance and support made for a smooth and encouraging experience.
