The doctor I saw was exceptionally compassionate and helpful. I am editing my review to reflect that my concerns about an unwelcoming scribe were addressed in a timely manner and resolved with a higher up who saw my original review and directed me to where I can provide more information. I am very impressed by the level of care this team shows in regard to their patients— not only health wise! It’s obvious when things aren’t up to standard, the priority is ensuring that they will be for next time. Very appreciated.
So so. I came here on a sunday night around 7. Checkin was easy at the kiosk and the guard was super nice. The waiting room has tea and water which is a plus. The furniture and desks however are not clean. I saw food crumbs on various chairs and the floor looks like it hasnt been mopped for a while. They have a tv which shows you patients ahead of you and how many exam rooms have patients being seen. I also saw the option of booking a slot in advance online, highly recommend it. Some employees at the front desk are nice while others look absolutely miserable. Karen was friendly and had a witty sense of humor but was pretty loud. I think when people are sick it doesn’t create a calm atmosphere. I also think patients that had no copays weren’t happy to hear that they needed to give their card info . Karen said to just look at the sign on her desk from corporate. My wait time was about an hour. It’s not major compared to wait at a hospital. I just didnt see many exam rooms and staff on site to begin with. They were rotating between 3 exam rooms. The “scribe” Sean had professional bedside manner but was a little cold in nature. When i had my vitals done (blood pressure heart rate and temp at the same time, totally rushed) i got to see the PA Anna. She was so nice, gentle and caring with my foot exam and was able to tape my toes in place and gave me a comfortable post opp boot to heal properly. Getting a script for the x ray was easy and she gave good instructions on what to do and expect next. I would say seeing her was the best part of my experience here . You can tell she really cares about her patients. She looked me in the eyes and said she will stay on top of the results to get a final diagnosis . What prevents me from giving 4 stars and up is how the website isnt up to date. Apparently they dont do xrays. The front desk said they have reported the issue to corporate but no apology beyond that point. I was so mad given that i chose their clinic solely to have the x rays done. Looking back at this situation I should of went to another clinic. Now I have to go to their eltingville location tomorrow morning to finally get testing done for my toe. No urgent care is perfect but there needs to be clear updates on the services they provide
From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and efficient, ensuring I felt comfortable and cared for. The facility was clean and well-organized, creating a calming environment during what could have been a stressful time. The medical team was professional, attentive, and thorough, taking the time to listen to my concerns and explain the treatment process clearly. I appreciated their compassion and expertise, which made a significant difference in my overall experience.
I love that its 24 hours. The receptionist was very nice, as was the doctor. However, I went in and got my vitals taken. I was asked my weight and got my pressure taken and my temperature in my LEFT ear. Then the doctor came in and we spoke and she prescribed something. The next morning I woke up at 5AM with severe ear pain. I had to pay again to go to another urgent care. In which I discovered I had an ear infection in my LEFT ear. (the same ear I got my temperature taken) This doctor prescribed more medication for the original issue I had gone in with at this place and now my ear infection.Very unsatisfied. I literally just paid double the amount and if time had been taken to really get my vitals taken and speak without rushing, maybe I wouldnt have had to waste more time
The facility was clean. I was a few minutes late, but still in the queue to be seen since I checked in online. My wait was that long. Maybe 30 minutes. There were a lot of walk-ins. The nurse was very nice and attentive to my symptoms. He was very thorough in documenting my information. It was a relief that he didn’t try to touch my brain during a nasal swab. The doctor came in a few minutes late. She checked me and listened to my symptoms. I received a prognosis soon after and she checked if I could take medication because of nursing. I even received a referral to a specialist. I would return to this place and I do recommend.
The staff was accommodating, professional and comforting to all. From the moment a patient arrived you were greeted and spoken to with respect. An overall good experience. Karen, at the front desk was kind and helpful.
I recently visited this treat and release facility to check for RSV or pneumonia due to my severe cough. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing and frustrating. The facility advertised that they offer on-site x-rays, which was one of the main reasons I chose to go there. However, after waiting in pain for over 2 hours, I was informed that they actually do not perform x-rays or test for RSV. This felt like a complete waste of my time and money. The long wait time was particularly unpleasant given how unwell I was feeling. To then discover they couldnt even provide the basic diagnostic tests I needed was incredibly frustrating. I ended up having to pay for this useless visit without receiving any meaningful care or answers about my condition. Overall, I found this experience to be misleading and unhelpful. The facility failed to deliver on their advertised services and wasted precious time when I was in need of medical attention. I would not recommend this treat and release center to others seeking prompt diagnostic care for respiratory issues. Patients would be better served going elsewhere for more comprehensive testing and treatment options.
If you feel ill do not go to this place, not only will they not do crap to help they will tell you “go to the ER if you r feeling that unwell” My mother was there today that is exactly what they told her and they didn’t even prescribe her medication to help. “Take an orange Gatorade” - what type of doctor says that?!! God forbid someone is actually sick and goes to this place, they will probably recommend you get a Dunking refresher to cure yourself. Now I work at a pharmacy and I see sick people everyday, my mother definitely needed a prescription to make her feel better. Too sad to see doctors not caring enough to help their patients.
I appreciated the cleanliness of this urgent care facility as well as the care that everyone who worked there took to keep patients safe from catching viruses and other infectious diseases, by wearing masks. The wait for a reserved appointment was only 10 minutes. The caregivers were thorough, kind and knowledgeable, answering all my questions. There was a follow up phone call two days later to be sure that I knew the results of my tests and how to proceed with self care.
I am very impressed with the service at this urgent care. Michael was my PA he was able to diagnose, treat and educate in an efficient manner. I was in and out in 21 minutes on New Year’s Eve!
So two days before we came here my mother went to emergency room because she felt sick and weak couldn’t walk or talk, they gave her IV and some medicine she got better, after two days she got sick again but this time wasn’t worst like the last time she only felt weak, we went at gohealth in hylan boulevard thinking they will give her any medication, we waited for two and a half and after that they didn’t gave us any IV no medicine nothing the doctor just did covid and flu testing and told us go home and relax drink gatorade, my mom started complaining more because she felt weak couldn’t walk and all he did is told us go to the hospital.
Easy to make appointment on line. Great hours. Pleasant, helpful staff. 5 minutes from home. excellent alternative to PCP when you need immediate non-emergency attention. Great experience all around, oh and ample parking! thank you
Everyone was so nice from the receptionist to the young lady who did my tests & bloodwork (she was so good that I didnt even have a bruise on my hand where she took blood) and the doctor. I would definitely go out of my way to go there again, if needed.
We were greeted at the door by a very pleasant security guard. I signed in and was taken immediately. The doctor assessed and treated my problem.I would definitely use this walk-in facility again
Doctor Nicole was great,Nurse Kasha was very personable.Ms. Karen at the desk was compassionate about my situation.
I visited the facility with a cat bite issue and I’m so grateful for all nice people working there. They were so kind and attentive. Thank you so much and hug you all.
I went 2 times, once for a Covid test and once for an infection I developed. The 1st time was great, they were quick and not busy. Probably because I was being tested for Covid was why they were quick LOL. The 2nd time, however, it was super crowded, I had to wait an hour to be seen when I was in pain, and the secretary was kind of rude to me. Mixed emotions about this place.
They were efficient knowledgeable and kind.. they were also very thorough didnt cut corners and explained everything they were doing and why it was necessary to be done ... Thank u
I home tested COVID positive. I had a sinus infection. PA refused to prescribe antibiotics for sinus infection which I knew I had being I have a history getting it with flu like symptoms. Stating since I was COVID positive it cannot be prescribed. I never heard of this. I went to urgent care for this reason being that I couldn’t get to see my pcp for a few more days. I then called my family doctor to ask if this is true and he said no. I can take antibiotics with being COVID positive. He then sent prescription electronically to pharmacy same day. I should have called him first. I do not recommend this place . CityMD may be better.
Very professional and caring, but they should have more physicians attending due to the heavy flow of patients .
I was seen after a reasonable amount of time. Everyone was courteous and professional. My problem was correctly diagnosed and treated.
The staff was very helpful with me. They are very nice and kind and very informative. Also, the doctors are awesome. They are very nice careful and attend to your needs very professional and a clean environment. I will recommend going there so all my friends and family because they take care of you.
I was diagnosed with an infectious wound to my left ankle that has not healed in over two months. I was given an an antibiotic and a prescription for same which I filled an hour later. I was also instructed to make an appointment with the local Northwell Health Burn & Wound DNP, FNP-BC.
I was literally in and out in 10 minutes. The office was not crowded. I was greeted by staff every step of the way. PA Rosaria and Medical Scribe John were awesome. Exam was thorough diagnosed my health issue and got me what I needed and I was on my way! Feeling better, by the way!
I visited this Northwell Urgent Care and was treated by PA Nicole. Not only was she kind, caring and professional, she actually called me the next day to follow up and see how I was doing.I cant say enough good things about the care I received and how much I appreciated the concern Nicole showed for my issue.
My experience with Dr Tess at Dongan Hills is exceptional!!! I will say, though, at any location that you visit.l, the system always has issues which requires me to supply all information repeatedly, even though I have visited there over half a dozen times recently. It’s disturbing to have such an inept system for matters that are of high importance and urgency to us. PLEASE UPDATE YOUR COMPUTER SYSTEM!!
The nurse practitioner was so friendly to my little daughter! She was professional, experienced, and also funny! She made my daughter comfortable and relieved the stress associated with doctor’s visit. Thank you!
The staff is very nice I would recommend them to anyone who needs urgent care my family goes there all the time
I have bee treated at Nortwell Health for quite some time now and for the most part it has been a very good experience except for some very rude PCA and a few Residents whom seam to lack people experience.
Easy to make an apptointment, smooth Check In, clean comfortable setting, pleasant staff.
I loved the entire experience. I walked into the immaculate Urgent Care on Donegan on Staten Island, and was met with the front desk receptionist who was so patient and kind. She immediately directed me to an examination room. The attending physician came in soon after. She was very understanding and made me feel so at ease. She did for me what my previous primary care provider would not...she made me feel as though I was heard and she addressed all of my concerns with compassion and patience.I would recommend this particular clinic to any one of my loved ones!!
The receptionist was super nice and professional, the NA was wonderful and the doctor was great, she knew what I had and prescribed the right med. I started to feel better the next day. They also offer free tea, which is wonderful when you are not feeling well. Thanks for the great service.
The doctor was amazing, great bedside manner. Rare for an urgent care.
Very knowledgeable, professional, highly skilled, short wait, there is even tea.. Very good place. Did i mention the tea, and very friendly.
They have very nice people that work there and they dont keep you waiting to long to see a Doctor.
Nicole Sullivan is THE best , made me feel super comfortable, was very caring about why I came in to be seen and literally just love her I really do. 20/10 recommend her
Quick and thorough service. Professional and personable staff.
The quickness, the staff and especially Vanessa who registers you. She is a true asset to your establishment
I had recently visited GoHealth and was treated by P.A. Chan. She was professional, caring, thorough and compassionate. She even contacted me several times after hours to check on my condition! I have never experienced this type of care in my life. She is an example of what healthcare should be for everyone.
I came in after 10 pm they were the convenience is signed in the quickly i was getting for my symptoms and got results in minutes vey friendly happy team i will defently go back but ihope not i dont wanna get sick again
My unfortunate covid related visit was effective, courteous, clean and really quick. The save my spot online option is a very nice and productive feature to help move things along. The whole process was very quick, much much quicker than I expected at an urgent care. And staff was very nice and courteous. Thank you very much for a 5 star service.
When I reached to urgent care I was very sick. I had good care within 1/2 an hour.Health care team was excellent. Their kind attention is remarkable. Very good reception service also have to be high lighted.
I was seen according to my scheduled appointment time and the staff was very professionally
If I could give 0 stars I would. I was sitting waiting to be called for over an hour, mind you it’s Sunday and I arrived at 3:40 prior to my injury at home. I finally get called at 4:30 and was told there is no X-ray.. When someone checks in as injury this should be told right away. In addition someone was taken before me because they used to work there so maybe if they weren’t so busy chit chatting they could’ve told me.
I went to this urgent care tonight, and the waiting time was acceptable, and the service was excellent. The nurse Karen Hegdal, and the Nicole Sullivan, the Physician Assistant treated me so good, very gentle, even though I was feeling so bad, they made me feel better with that excellent service.
Just a warning to anyone that doesnt have insurance, just to walk in is $120! Should make that known ahead of time.
As long as you make your appointments online, you go in right on time. Very helpful staff very understanding highly recommend.
Everyone is really nice and they take the time to explain and go through everything. Ive been here a few times over the last few years and Ive never had a bad experience. All the doctors are patient and kind. Highly recommend this urgent care :)!
Ana the doctor bedside manner her concerns followed up with me the following day and also checked my results and followed up with me today 10 star isnt enough you dont really get doctors like ana anymore
I appreciate everyone that helpedme it was easy signing inThen next got seen right away and the nurse was so kind to ask about my medicine that I take and they made the test easy for me and the results.
Very good healthcare as soon as you walk in, they treat you very nice. The doctors and nurses are excellent. I will recommend it 100% family and friends.
What a pleasant experience it was. From the time I stepped in the door until I got back into my car.Staff was very friendly, helpful and personable. Also well informed.I met one of the providers whom worked on stitching me up, she explain everything prior to working on me. And everything to do afterwards. She was assisted with great staff whom was superb. I even got a apple juice drink! This was my first ever urgi-care visit, great experience! Thanks all!
I had a good experience. The assistant was a little rough in the beginning but the provider was great.
Every UrgentCare on Staten Island that Ive been to has had great service, and yesterday was my first time at the DH location. Quick sign-in process, and the nurse (Jessica was her name?) was very patient and efficient in pre-testing. Eventually I saw Dr. Juhyun, who was very thorough in her procedures and diagnosis. Easy 5/5.P.S. I work in eye care, and Dr. Juhyuns Gucci glasses are fire lol
Had a great experience at this location. The things I liked the most are: Wait time, cleanliness, professionalism, explaining tests, answering questions, taking my input into consideration. One of the best experiences I’ve had at an urgent care. Would def visit this urgent care again in the future.
Had an emergency with my nephew last minute they were able to help me. Everything went very smoothly. You can tell that this place really really cares about their people and their patients they were very caring very clean very nice very organized. I would highly recommend this place and I will definitely if I ever have an urgent matter. I will definitely be coming here again.
Was seen almost immediately. My issue was taken care of and I was on my way. Great staff and provider. Very personable, courteous and professional.
This is the best urgent care. Super clean, staff very friendly and accommodating. I usually make an appt online as well as the I r check in which gets me in and gets me out within an hour. Only place I go!!! Highly recommend great job guys
Everyone was so nice, helpful, got out fast good place to go
Very professional and courteous.pleasntly surprised compared to past experiences
I was a patient 10 days , I was a walk in. Before being seen , I asked many questions such as out much out of pocket for sutures , the visit and my follow up . The PA Nicole Suvillan and the receptionist at the front desk , explained very clear that the $270 I paid out of pocket was included forthe visit , the sutures & I asked is there a fee when I come back to take it out , ms suvillan and the receptionist said that will be included in the follow up . I asked for it to be in writing and it was verbally said once again , it’s included in the visit charge that I paid for . Once day 9 came to come take out the sutures , I walked in and waited 2 hours to be seen , just to be told the dr didn’t do a good job basically with stitching me up and it wasn’t fully closed so they didn’t want to chance it to take out they stitches since it was on a joint bad place on my hand . Not to mention 2 stitches fell out on its own so that’s why it wasn’t fully closed smh no good . So when I went that day the PA Christine said to me I will not be charged for this visit , because it didn’t get the stitches taken out and wasted my time anyways , when I could of been told from jump can I show them how it look so they knowIf it’s ready to be taken out . I asked her before leaving will I be charged since nothing was done and she said no .That day no one mentioned anything about a payment . So today 12/22 I had an appt for10am . I come in and it’s mentioned to me that $50 needs to be paid . I kindly explained to them the details in regards of that and it was explained the $270 was paid for which is included in my follow up . I’m not paying $50 and it was told to me that it was included in my follow up visit . So I didn’t get my stitches taken out , they need to communicate better with patience and have it in a writing the fees and stuff people are paying for . They didn’t do a good job on my hand anyway . I will never come back here . Y’all need to get better with patient communication and being clear to what needs to be paid for when it comes to a DR visit . You guys lack that and now look .
Best Urgent care I’ve been to on Staten Island. PA Nicole was super attentive, very patient, kind and took her time. She genuinely seemed concerned and truly cared! The other physicians and staff were super kind as well, 10/10 recommend.. they made my experience much better despite my illness
I went in there yesterday in a panic , I had an allergic reaction to a peach that I didn’t know I had . Worst part was that I had my 5 year old with me . The lead nurse was TESS I believe , she was amazing. Her and the other girls took care of my daughter while they treated me . I couldn’t have asked for people better in a potentially life threatening situation. My daughter and I are grateful for them . Thank you
Even though they were short staff, betta yet REAL SHORT STAFFED, meaning one doc. She patiently delivered and was on point. Love her!
Took Mom for a swollen painful leg.She was advised She needed a Sonogram to rule out a blood clot. The staff was able to get her an immediate appointment avoiding us hours of waiting at Staten Island Hospital. Sonogram was done and Office worked efficiently to get diagnoses. No blood clot just a badly bruised muscle.. Mom and I want to Thank You all for helping expedite her treatment. We will return if needed down the road. Hopefully not anytime soon. Thank you again.
Great experience, wonderful care, and professionalism you will appreciate. My first encounter was two days ago and unfortunately, due to newly developed issues I made the decision to schedule a virtual appointment. Both encounters were very positive. The staff are caring, friendly, and really listen to their patients. I would definitely recommend Northwell Health-GoHealth Urgent Care. Much respect to the caregivers for doing what they do during these trying times. Thanks for your care of me.
No one wants to, or knows how to, do their job anymore. This urgent care lost my test results and took no accountability for it. The staff associate I spoke with stated she will note that I was dissatisfied with the service (before I could even express that I was dissatisfied at all). This is not the point. I paid a costly copay for inconvenience. Patients pay their copays and are at the mercy of these people who have minimal regard for patients welfare. Patients have to deal with the mismanagement of their identifying information and confidential test results because of incompetency. The manager was supposed to call me, never did. Its their mistake, and patients feel the brunt of it.
Went first thing in the morning. Quick service, got all my questions answered and all the help I needed
I went to Urgent Care and I am very satisfied from the time I met the front desk until I met the health provider Nicole Sullivan. I felt that everyone especially the provider cared about me and listened to my health concern and got my diagnosis right. If we have more people who work and care like them it is a privilege. Please keep up the good work. Sorry, I couldnt remember all the other names that helped me on 06/06/2023.Thank you Urgent Care Team!!MJ
The physician was very informative on point and dedicate to my sons needs and your front desk person. I believe her name was Cathy Rodriguez was also very helpful, informative and worked carefully and efficiently. I would definitely repeat the visit.
This is the definitely the best urgent care on Staten Island. I’ve been here in the past and they have always been great. Checked in online and was called in soon as we arrived. Today we saw PA Rosaria. She helped my 89 year old mom hear again! She was super patient and attentive. Thank you so much for a great experience.
Been here a couple times and the experience is always out of this world! From the moment I walk in everyone makes me feel very comfortable as a young mom. Very respectful and very helpful! I would recommend here to anyone! Thank you so much everyone
Ease of scheduling online appointment to save spot and avoided any excessive wait time. I waited briefly in an empty clean waiting room after quickly checking in on kiosk. Was promptly greeted by friendly check in staff and quickly placed in room for exam first by nurse then by PA Frank who was thorough and knowledgeable and treated me correctly. Thanks to medicine prescribed I’m starting to feel better. This will be the urgent care me and my family use from now on. So far best I’ve ever been to on Staten Island. I highly recommend. If I would have known this was going to be such a great experience I would have avoided initial Teladoc appointment which turned out to be useless since they didn’t treat me properly. You really do need to be seen in person for appropriate care. Thanks Northwell Health team!
We were a little nervous at the beginning but the staff make us feel at home ,the appointment time was very accurate which says a lot about the place they were very accurate and knowledgeable and friendly we are glad that we visit this place for our personal needs thank you
1217/2023 went there seen dr.Reyhan Suleymani swollen eyes. She Prescribed Ofloxacin 0.3%. For eyes. After 2nd still very painful my wife called them back for help. They said call my Primary doctor. My primary prescribed something different that seemed to work. Next day went to see dr Ray eye doctor, He said that prescription that the doctor gave me at urgent care was too strong and was making the matters worse. I will never go back there again. I never experienced so much pain.
The staff were super nice and friendly not to mention highly competent, brilliant, and professional at what they do. It was such a quick and efficient visit from beginning to end. The Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants are super brilliant but yet, so friendly, down to earth, and relatable. I’d go there again in a heartbeat !
!....EVERYONE from when I walked in the door was very nice and professional..PA Sullivan treated me...put in my stitches and everything went well...she was very nice...courteous ...and professional.I was on vacation from Florida and if I ev er need Go Health service again I will not hesitate...ThanksJohn Candler The professional ...friendly..concerned treatment I got.
I went to get a PPD done I had clearly told the receptionist my name I didn’t think nothing of it but something told me when I got home look at the paper and long & behold it had a completely different patient’s name and birthday. when I called all that was told was oh you got to come get another paper sorry about that like that’s it How can you make that mistake? It’s not like the place was busy. God forbid it would’ve been personal results to someone else. This is so bad.
The staff dr and nurses are very good and attentive to all details! No waiting time! The nurses are very niceEspecially Karen! My kids love her
Made an appointment. Arrived early, was seen before appointment time. Very friendly and professional staff.
Great experience from the moment I walked through the door. The facility was clean, staff was welcoming and so so kind. The Dr. I saw was amazing and the staff was so supportive. It has been the best urgent care experience I have ever had! Will continue to come back to this location from now on.
The whole staff was very caring and helpfulEven the very next day I called to switch pharmacies because the CVS didnt have my prescription in stock and the nurse or doctor that I spoke with was very nice and helpful and sympathetic. She had me smiling over the phone she was very genuinely caring. We need more people in that line of professions like that crew in hospitals and urgent care’s. Have a blessed weekend. Respectfully yours Darlene m. Cacerez ( mother of the patient Joslyn Caban )
Immediate warm receptionDetailed information through diagnostic and solution meds and procedures- very thorough
Absolutely great people and very professionalism the lady doctor who had diagnosed me . She was from Egypt sorry I couldn’t made up to ask her name . And thank you to all from doorkeeper to all the staff members are very welcomed and concerned to the patient. 👏🏻🙌🏻🫶🏻
I was recently forced to go to an urgent care after ignoring my severe hypertension after work. Most urgent cares were closed and although this Northwell Health was closing within the half hour, I was taken in immediately and assessed to be a risk that needed hospital care. The professionalism and kindness of all the workers there, from the front desk to the Dr and technician who administered the EKG was stellar to say the least. Thank you for forcing me to the hospital for immediate treatment. I was told I was a walking possible stroke. I will take all of the warnings you told me very seriously in the future. Thank you.Highly recommend this facility!
The entire staff was very friendly and professional.
Short wait time, doctor and admins were very helpful - Workers, speed and care - overall one of the best Urgent cares on the Island!!
What a HORRIBLE experience with the front desk staff member.the urgent care auto system text you a thousand times , you follow directions and text “here” when you get there, you receive a text that your message has been received and they will be with you soon. You wait in your car for an hour, walk in just to check your wait time to be greeted by the NASTIEST human being you can imagine!! And when you ask her if she can pass along information about the text messaging (THAT THE CLINIC DOES NOT ACTUALLY RECEIVE) the receptionist says no sorry that has nothing to do with me. And I said yes but your patients that are following instructions from the text messages are waiting- she interrupts me and says “well people just normally come in” BUT THATS NOT THE POINT!!! ALL SHE NEEDED TO SAY WAS NO PROBLEM ILL LET SOMEONE KNOW- PRETEND TO CARE WHILE IM AROUND AND GO GOME AND TELL YOUR CAT ABOUT THE PROBLEM!!!!!ALSO I made and appointment for an X-RAY and they don’t have a tech!! I wasted so much time this morning and needed to attain a babysitter for the visit.**Side note- the NP and nurse were very nice and helpful
I had no problems with check-in, was called almost immediately and attended to by friendly, personable and professional staff, received the medical care that I needed, prescriptions forwarded to my preferred pharmacy which I picked up and went home to recover. Easy peasy!
I recently visited this particular facility because my own doctor was not available nor calling back. I must say I was very pleasantly surprised from the minute I walked in. Everyone from the person who checked me in, the to PA that I ultimately saw was great! Awesome bed side manner, listened to everything that ailed me and withing minutes had me properly diagnosed - they even sent my prescription immediately to the pharmacy while I was there. Received a print out of my visit, the medicine I was prescribed and a reminder to follow-up again because of my blood pressure.I was literally there for less than a half hour! I wish regular doctors offices were like this - would make it so much an enjoyable experience. They also have plenty of parking . So glad this office opened.
Everyone was very courteous and professional!!!! The service was first rate!!
Initially everything was great! I signed up online, walked it and proceeded to the room. Was seen by the provider almost immediately.Everything is great so why 2 stars? When I went to the pharmacy prescription never made it there. Ive spend over an hour on the phone trying to reach someone in that location. The place was not busy at all when I left. No one picked up.That was my first and last time visiting.
Staff were great answer all my concerns
The entire staff was polite & professional from intake to medical care. My doctor was kind and informative. He was able to address and treat my emergency. I thanked him and hope he understands how grateful my daughter and myself continue to feel. Thank you all!
I had an appointment and still managed to wait over 2 hours. Understaffed greatly. I felt rushed while I was there and I feel I was misdiagnosed because they made me leave and wait for an email to find out if I had covid or not. Then I was told by the PA that I couldnt get a doctors note for work until the results came in, which resulted in me having to return (while having the flu) to get it the next day. I also asked the PA to test me for strep throat and he didnt. He completely disregarded my request. Im sure I have it as I am not feeling any better and still have severe swollen glands. He prescribed me a weak antibiotic that isnt working. Im very annoyed that I will need to go to another urgent care to be correctly diagnosed and given the correct meds because Im feeling worse than when I was originally there.
Pa Krista is hands down the best service provider Ive ever encountered. She takes the time to listen and make sure she gets all the info before responding. She is very thorough and in-depth without wasting too much time. She made sure I had all the information I needed prior to leaving and even went ahead and printed additional resources for me to keep. She is truly one of a kind!
No long waiting timeThe staff were professionals and kind
I took myself and my teenage daughter their on a day my dr. was on vacation and we were both sick with colds. Feeling crappy, we went there. Great service starting from the front desk girl to the physicians assistant. No waiting and quick service. Beautiful facility, clean and modern. We were seen and examined thoroughly. Sent with instructions and medications to pick up at our local pharmacy. Within a few days we were feeling great, as we had a wedding coming up. I have recommended this facility to everyone I have spoken to. They even called to follow up to see if we were feeling better. Last week I went for a minor infection and the staff and office staff were friendly and calming. Was seen quickly. Kristen saw me and was very informative and thorough.left with meds. She called to follow up to see how I felt. I am feeling better thank God. I highly recommend their services.great professionalism and friendliness when you dont feel so well.
This was a very nice and clean facility. The receptionist was pleasant and willing to go the extra mile to accommodate me during my visit. The technician who took x-rays of my foot, was very helpful and knowledgeable about how the machine worked. He was also patient with me as my foot was in soon much pain. The doctor was professional, yet understanding and empathetic of my situation. She also explained in detail the possible causes of my pain. It was only a couple minutes before I was treated. Very efficient and caring staff. Unless its an emergency, I will definitely recommend this facility over going to a hospital. In a word......Excellent!
This is the only Urgent care that I will go too. Everyone are so helpful and very professional. I had a PA preform an extraction that not even a dr would. I am always impressed when o come to this facility… can’t thank them all enough
Experienced, compassionate care with thorough examination of problem and right temporary solution until I was able to go to my Ortho doctor for further treatment. Highly recommend the Hylan Blvd location. They treated me like a person in pain.
Awesome, helpful, and super friendly staff. Been here a few times and have always reserved my spot beforehand and never waited over a half hour. Most recently, P.A. Mike examined me and provided me with a quick and painless rapid PCR test, and I asked him for some advice regarding a family members COVID care. Called me within an hour with my results and followed up to see how my family member was doing. Love the care and compassion here!
Do not go to this location if you need an X-ray, you will be sent to a different location which is very inconvenient and lead to extra expenses for me to pay for taxi. I was in this location about a year ago for my injury and there was no X-ray here, though website misinforms you that there is one. Today I am here again for my child injury and still there is no X-ray. Its very disappointing for me.
I have been going to this urgent care since 2019 that I moved to Dongon Hills. Today I went in with an injury ( that I got at work) on my head. When I was explaining what happend to the nurse.. since I mentioned that I got hurt at work.. and I did not know if I wanted to go through workers comp… the PA came on and told me that she could not help me unless I put it through a workers comp claim or I would have to pay out of pocket for the visit( I have a great insurance carrier) so basically the protocol is to force you to put the claim in or they refuse service. Or you have to pay out of pocket.. I will not be returning here. Very distasteful for someone who was hurt and in pain.
Rosaria was amazing and so helpful to getting me on the right track to feeling better ✨
Ive been to this Urgent Center a few times in the past, and never had to wait more then 10 minutes. I sliced my finger open last week, and needed stitches. I went to this location to get them done quickly. Dr. Kim and the young lady (I wish I knew her name!) that typed up my summary were so great. This was the first time in my life that I ever needed a procedure like this, and Dr. Kim tried to make it as painless as possible. They both had such great bedside manner. A week later, I went back to have my stitches removed and my finger is as good as new. Thank you Dr. Kim!
The staff at Northwell Health-Go Health Urgent Care were extremely polite and timely! I also found the staff was informative and confident in advising me for my particular ailment. They took their time with me, not making me feel like they had anything better to do. No question that i asked was to trivial and the Dr wasnt annoyed in the slightest to answer any one off my list. I left the facility and then realized I had one more question. I called back, and was given to the dr who treated me! When does that happen? Again, she was happy to answer me. The Dr who actually treated me did a follow up of my condition via phone a few days later which is more than I could ask of my regular providers. I had reported my condition, and she again, assured me and advised me of what to expect and do in a few days time. Overall, it was a wonderful a wonderful experience.
The provider who saw my Mother was thorough. She took her time to explain her diagnosis and was genuinely concerned. Everyone there was very professional. As a healthcare provider myself, I can tell you, I felt extremely comfortable with the care my family member received. Thank you.
I went there due to a toothache and it was causing earaches and sleepless nights.. I got pain meds and antibiotics and a referral to get the tooth extracted since my dental appointment was way off. Overall the staff was great the doc and his assistant was so funny and pleasant. Tooth out Im recovering and thankful there are still great people out there.
I looked at previous reviews and also how long ago they were written because I understand as the days go on healthcare facilities are under more and more pressure. However i still felt compelled to review a simple phone call to a person at this facility that doesnt know how to speak to people. I was directed by my primary Northwell Dr. office to this Northwell urgent care facility for a non corona virus ailment. Im sure people are walking in urgent cares without calling but I decided to call first to make sure of the situation there. Its a good thing i did. The person that answered the phone was very disinterested and quick to refer away from her facility without even knowing the full story. She tried to say I was referred to the actual hospital ER when I was not. My doctors office is the one who gave me this facilitys address and phone number. Then I told her I has pain near my Kidney area and she said We dont do that here. You dont do pain there.....LOL? Isnt purpose of Urgent care is to see if you need further treatment somewhere else? Wouldnt it make sense to be examined first????????? Either this women was having a bad day, maybe scared of catching the virus or shes just not fit for patient/customer service. After putting me on hold she came back on to say that i have to go to the hospital. Im not trying to get anyone in trouble but wouldnt even be writing this if this women had an ounce of people skills and maybe a bit of compassion. Im hoping the manager responds to this review and then a followup by phone.
The staff was very friendly and the dr I saw was awesome! I felt 100% better as soon as I got home! The wait wasn’t too long either. All in all It was the best urgent care experience!
When you first walk in you will see how large, welcoming, and clean the layout is. There is minimal paperwork during the whole process. The wait is 2-3 minutes the most. The last few times there was no one else in there. The staff and ESPECIALLY the doctor were so sweet kind and compassionate. The doctor answered all our questions and made sure we were ok. They called us 3 days later to ask how we were feeling and they were amazing with my TODDLER son who was very hyper and loud. I love it here. Its a hidden secret. We wish we could go here for everything. Thank you so much from Robert K, Gina and Nicholas T
The provider was wonderful. She made me feel comfortable and showed a genuine concern for what I was going through. The guy at the front desk who signed me in was also very welcoming. The office was very clean and service was delivered with almost no wait time.
The PA I saw was great. Took her time with me and was very knowledgeable. The MA who took my vitals and did all my tests was so sweet. Always easy to get and make a appt at this location
Went here for covid test with my 2 kids. This is my kid’s first time do the covid test. Just walked in without appointment, but the line wasn’t that crazy. One patient done and leave, the staff call next patient to the room. You could tell they are doing their job not like some urgent cares ( some urgent cares staffs chatting without working). Anyway my kids super nervous and scared. But The staffs super friendly and professional! Really patient! Thank you!
Went to this place, worst place Ive ever been in my entire life. The receptionist was so disrespectful and nasty since I got to the place. Brought my son there because he was sick, she didnt accepted my child because she needed a card that I didnt had at the moment, When clearly I had all my sons info on my phone! And She still refused to accept my child to be seen by a doctor. I dont know why they called it urgent care. Im really angry at this moment because they refuse to see a sick child for no reason. The address of the place is 1700 Hyland Blvd, Staten Island NY 10305
The PA Josh was professional, knowledgeableAnd compassionate. He listened to my ailments and addressed accordingly. He was very attentive and thorough. Thank you kindly for your level of professionalism and care!
I know, we are in the middle of a pandemic, our world is in a different place right now. I went to see my primary care doctor who told me to go get a COVID-19 test to just make sure I didn’t have the virus again.(I had the virus in March) I had to make an appointment because they were not taking walk ins due to the new second wave or uptick in the infection rates again in my area. My appointment was made for two days later at 1045 am. I get to Northwell and check in at 1030. I was told I had to wait in my car. So I went out and waited and waited and waited! Not once was I called or given an update. I tried calling their number an hour and a half after I had checked in and NO ONE picked up. In fact the call went to a voice box that was full and no longer taking messages. I was able to leave an email on their site and again I heard nothing. I waited another ten minutes when I finally decided to leave. About 20-40 minutes later is when I got the call if I was still outside and ready to come in? So obviously they knew that most likely I wouldn’t be there. I was quite angry and annoyed, but again, I am trying to be sympathetic to today’s world and our healthcare providers and their selflessness. I just don’t think it’s right, fair or professional to keep a patient waiting this long without an update. I didn’t go into an emergency room, I made an appointment into an urgent care facility I have used many times and whom I have given great praise and reviews for in the past. Sorry Northwell, you dropped the ball this time, and I’m disappointed.
Took my dad there and he was seen right away. No wait time and the PA was very thorough and provided a print out of the diagnosis with exact follow-up instructions and prescriptions. The place was very clean and the staff was very respectful and pleasant too. A good place to go to if you are not able to get an appointment with your primary doctor right away.
I have gone here twice so far, both times very happy with the service. Both PAs who helped me were very attentive, gentle, and informative. The facility is comfortable and clean. No waiting time is a big plus for me! I was seen and treated in an appropriate and impressive time. They also have parking available in the lot. I will definitely go back here when needed and I HIGHLY recommend this facility!
Wonderful staff. Friendly and thorough. Place is clean. Doctors have cured me within days of diagnosis. . My prescriptions are ordered immediately and ready by the time i drive home. Waiting has been minimal everytime I have been there. Thank you to everyone there for a great job!
Very unprofessional. The man who read our results was more interested in discussing tattoo placement and appropriate piercings to have with the female employees than reading our results properly. I came in with my family of 4. He handed each of us our papers saying the results to each of us. He read mine wrong!!!! Told me negative, and handed me my results that said positive. Unbelievable, he was rude and had no damn “bedside manner”.
Front desk focused on her cell phone, not customer. Great job training your front desk to ignore customer so all other employees can relax. We end up went to CityMD which has great service.
The place was very well run, clean wonderful front desk staff and the nurse was great. Eric, the PA who tended to me was awesome. I was seen pretty much right away, was so easy saving a spot on line
I liked the care they gave to my daughter. They did every test to reach an accurate diagnosis. They examined her very carefully. They treated us with courtesy and kindness. I highly recommend this place to everyone!
The hospital was clean, the staff were very professional and the wait time was not as long as other hospitals. I felt like the nurses & doctors really cared. The waiting area was comfortable with a variety of snacks to buy. All staff showed politeness and professionalism. Thank you
Excellent resepinast. Great Drs and very clean office
When I first went here for a covid test with my husband, we were triaged by a woman who wasnt very pleasant, like at all. Large white lady, brown or black hair. Didnt really get her name. She wasnt personable or welcoming or nice at all. Now I dont need the nicest people all the time or be babied - but this woman was kind of miserable as soon as we went into the room. Maybe she was having a bad day. Maybe not. I get it. Pandemic - life. I get it. Upon entering the room she had made me extremely uncomfortable and then I felt my heart started pounding (I have anxiety). She then proceeds to check my blood pressure as Im informing her of my nervousness. My husband trying to comfort me - she interrupts and says - no shes gonna have to see a doctor or specialist. That is alarmingly dangerous. Way to nurse, lady! Way to treat someone who is visibly already quite nervous.Thankfully I have NEVER had to be seen by this nurse since that day. Hopefully she has found a better suiting area in the medical field for her personality and approach to some individuals. Perhaps something with billing lolRecently, I had the pleasure of being seen by lovely ladies named Catherine and Sarah. For one, THEY WERE NICE! Just a reminder - it costs NOTHING to be. They were professional. They were thorough, talkative throughout the process and never made me feel at all uncomfortable. They exude the personality of a nurse and embody what it actually means to be one. Bravo to them. I no longer am afraid to go back to this office - as long as Im seeing one of you!(My blood pressure is fine by the way - apparently being very nervous can alter the reading. Big surprise!)
Amazing visit. The PA that treated me saved me from getting stitches in my finger by Gluing it closed. She was amazing and I was in and out in less then 1/2 hour.
The place is big and clean. Staff and P.A. were all good. For walk-ins you have to sign on the kiosk as you enter. And you will see in the monitor your name as you register from the kiosk and other patients as well and there you will get to know for how long your name will be called/checked. Im glad they accept my insurance. I highly recommend this Urgent care.
Nice and care place. Very welcome and professional staff and great doctor.
Great place for a quick non urgent care! I brought my children in two different occasions. (A fall and high fever) We saw a PA and a RN, both were very gentle and efficient with my kids. The front desk, however, not very courteous. Its a good thing they are not in charge of your health. They do make a follow up home call to make sure everything is ok. A nice touch.
Great staff! The moment you walk through the doors, you are registered and seen quickly. No long wait in the waiting room. Doctors attend the patients very quickly and get results fast.
My family and I had a great experience at northwell health. It was 1.2.3. we were in and out the staff there were great very kind and helpful. My daughter wants to go there for now on she said she didn’t even feel the needle at all it was painless .... I recommend this place to all my family and friends thanks again for making us feel welcome especially at a time like this.
I took my 3 year old to the urgent care because Because she woke up with a swollen face, red eyes and itchy nose. I took her in at 10 am and the lady at the front desk was very sweet. When she saw the physician assistant, he told me my daughter had nothing, it was just allergies and he didn’t even give me a prescription. The next day my daughter woke worse, then I took her to her pediatrician and her pediatrician told her she had a sinus infection! I am very disappointed from the service I received. Stay away !!!
You provide a valuable service. easy access to experienced, thoughtful and caring health care services. I have always had a positive experience at your office over the years. Great staff as well. I appreciate you.
I took my son today, May 5, 2017, due to frequent and clotted nose bleeds. As soon as I entered this urgent care, I was greeted and taken care of right away. The receptionist, technician & Physician Assistant are all very professionals, efficient, and have very good bedside manners. PA Christina Marino was very thorough in examining my son and even ordered a stat blood works for him to rule out any clotting problems and of course for my peace of mind. Since they are affiliated with the Northwell Hospital, the result was called in by PA Marino this evening before the office close. I was very pleased with the services offered by the staff of Northwell Go Health Urgent care. I have been to two urgent cares in Staten Island. This is the first time Im truly & highly recommending an Urgent Care facility, because the staff here exemplifies professionalism, good work ethics; and, the facility is new, clean, and tidy.
I’m here at the moment for an infected Tragus piercing my earring got embedded into my skin and I was told to go the ER and was given antibiotics! Everyone I know went to Urgent Care for things like this and the PA by name of Nicole gave no relief all she did was ask me questions and tried to push my earring through the skin which made it hurt even more!! The conclusion was an apology, antibiotics and to call a plastic surgeon by the name of Dr Pacifico I guess she forgot about telling me to go the ER which one is it? WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!!
From the beginning when I spoke with the receptionist, I felt very comfortable. I was seen by Dr. Malizia and he was extremely thorough in his exam and explanation of my illness. He had a comforting bedside manner. I would highly recommend this facility.
Quality care provided! NP Tessa and Cindy were the best!! Very knowledgeable and super helpful and friendly staff ... Recommending this Urgent Care...I would give 10 stars if I could!
The friendly receptionist checked me in right away and i only waited about 5 minutes to see the great doc. Im 38 weeks pregnant and was concerned about a swollen throat. This place was worth the visit. Thank you so much.
Our PA, Krista Gregory was professional and efficient. She made my visit the best experience Ive had at an urgent care or emergency room. Thank you again to her and the support staff.
The staff was very knowledgeable. The ability to make appointments online made coming in and being seen easy. The location is convenient. It is very good place for a last minute doctors appointment.
A fantastic and courteous staff....from start to finish. Finally an urgy center where patient satisfaction and patient outcomes are put on the forefront by the practitioners. Each member of the team happily explained all steps and interactions in my experience there. I am a critical care nurse of 28 years and felt TOTALLY cared for!!! Where does this happen nowadays?!?!?!! Thumbs up to Josh the PA.
Very professional staff. They took me in very quickly and gave me the treatment I needed. They were also nice enough to fax the scripts to my pharmacy, so I was able to get the medication on time.I would highly recommend this facility.
They were very kind and patient, clean environment. Was seen at a decent time frame. Id highly recommend it
If you go there please pay cash. I went there and they gave me a prescription for an antibiotic and the situation cleared up but the days post visit they were blowing up my phone. I called days later and told them the symptoms were resolved. The receptionist said ok I will tell PA and if they have anything extra to tell me they will call me back but if I dont hear from them everything is ok. I never herd back from them. Next I got a bill for approximately $11. I gave them my CC to pay my co-payment and the $11 bill I received post visit. Today I opened my email and I noted that Monday they will charge me another $7, with the CC I gave for my co-payment, three months after my initial visit, for what I dont know. NEVER GOING BACK!! I would highly suggest going to your primary care doctor if you have one vs this leeching money place.
I was just in this morning with the extreme sore throat. I was up the previous night drinking tea and honey. I went to this urgent care and the front desk was wonderful. I saw the physician assistant and was told I had no strep but to go home, take tea and honey, spray with chloraseptic and take motrin. I also payed a copay of $50 . The PA doesn’t agree with giving out antibiotics if no strep. I proceeded to do this for several hours but began to develop phlegm and tightness in my chest. The day progress and I began to feel much worse and I couldn’t even cough with my throat feeling as if I swallowed glass. I called back and explain to the PA I felt much worse and maybe needed an antibiotic. She told me it was not possible and to go to the emergency room if it got worse. I said why would I go to emergency room and pay $200 when I just gave you my coverage and paid $50 copay. I was practically crying with the pain and explain to her I am not one to take antibiotics but I feel worse. She said come back tomorrow. No compassion or understanding said she was closing for the night. I will never go back to this urgent care again. Ivy Urgent care had more compassion when they stood alone. Horrible attitude
Had a great experience. Went to this Urgent Care Facility on Sunday January 23, 2022. My eldest son had a ring stuck on his finger, at first they thought they couldn’t help us but Ana Contarino stopped us before we were able to head out to the E.R. She was so caring and diligent in finding a helpful solution for my son Xzavier. After many failed attempts with a ring cutter they even tried contacting the police for assistance but was unsuccessful. Then Ann had one more idea for getting this ring removed. At the end she successfully got the ring off his finger and relieved the swelling that was occurring. All the staff there was extremely helpful during this process. Tess Studholme was another medical staff who assisted in helping Ana Contarino with my son. Hilal Yurtseven made the check in process smoooth and easy. The entire experience was a blessing and I’m very grateful to this pleasant and professional staff.Thank you 🙏
Quick and efficient blood draw. Was in and out. Saw Elma. She was great !
Great staff, quick response and knowledgeable doctors. I came in with part of my face paralyzed. After a short 15 minute wait, the doctor saw me and diagnosed me with Bells Palsy, gave me some steroids and anti viral medicine.I’m fully recovered thanks in part to the doctor here. I’ll keep coming here whenever it’s not a serious issue as opposed to going straight to the ER.
Thanks to Northwell GoHealth Urgent Care, I didnt have to go to the ER for what turned out to be a Pneumonia. I was able to get checked up and have x-rays done without needing to be shuffled around between departments, like at a hospital, or do any inconvenient traveling. Everyone involved in my care was patient and polite, and I felt taken care of from start to finish. This was the first time Ive ever been this sick, and to have felt looked after/diagnosed properly went a long, long way. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I was a walkin , only waited 30 miutes. took covid test got prescription and feelig better
Professional and kind people especially the pa and Dr. Nice and clean facility.
The gentleman who did my Covid swab was great but the other people were all unprofessional. One of them was my PA and I believe the other one was also a PA. Bickering back and forth about how I was positive and she should come tell me to which I replied I could hear already since Im not sure anyone in the building couldnt. Very rude and unprofessional. Beyond embarrassing. Front desk was rude and not hospitable. You should probably seek all new staff going forward because this is not a comforting place for people whatsoever. Never again.
Jessica the PA was wonderful, she made me feel at ease, was a great listener and diagnosed me correctly. She went the extra step and I had my answer from the lab quickly along with a caring follow up call.
The PA and the tech were very accommodating understanding how sick and concerned I felt. It was a positive experience. The receptionist was also very nice and helpful. It was at the Hylan Blvd Staten Island location.
Came for a covid test.Should be at no cost .They charged my insurance 550 dollars for doctor visit and 151dollars for test.My insurance paid 434 dollars and Im stock with 267 dollars. On my complaint that I never saw a doctor I was told that its a company policy to charge, because doctor signs the results of covid test.Be careful, they want tell you upfront the cost, pure medical fraud.
I have never been to an Urgi Center. My mother in law was not feeling well and her doctor was not in. We decided to come and what a great experience. The staff was wonderful as we approached the desk. Then we saw PA Christina, she was absolutely excellent. Her exam and bedside manners were nothing we have ever experienced. She took her time and was extremely reassuring of her diagnoses. PA Christina is a great healthcare provider and now we know where to go!! GO HEALTH. I highly recommend to everyone. Everyone should experience Go Health Urgi Center !!!!!!
I will go back to you for sure, because your staff care. You’ve helped me before with my emergencies, and acted professionally . When I left your premises to get my medications , they were ready with my pharmacy . I also came for a Covid-19 test that was done quickly and will tell anyone who needs one to get it done with you
My go-to urgent care. I have been here for myself and my two kids and keep coming back. Whether its an illness or injury I recieve the same amount of attention and care. All the PAs are wonderful as well as the MAs and Xray tech. Its very clean and spacious. They take their time when they are with you and are very nice. I have recommended them to many family members.
Great experience. Please anyone who has an emergency illness please don’t waste time in thinking which urgent care to go to. Just go to this location. But in general I wouldn’t want anyone to get sick but God forbid if someone gets sick please go to go health.
I love this place. Unfortunately I have to travel overseas very often; because of work. I always do PCR COVID test with them and also, been there, for two emergency issues. Extremely professional and kind Medical stuff. Thank you NHUC for all your help, you are highly appreciated. I wish I was able to use them as my Primary Doctor. Wonderful to have a place in our community, full of professionals, that really care.
I had been going to them when they were on Richmond before they moved a few blocks to Hylan Blvd last year. Hardly any wait time, very friendly staff. Best physicians on Staten Island, I wish they were my regular primary care physician.
I came in with an infection and was greeted by Melissa and taken care of by Santos. Great clean very professional and very quick. not that Im looking forward to getting sick anytime soon but if I do I know right where to go.Thanks for you professionalism and speeding service.
The place is nice and clean. The service is on time and very professional.
I have been to Northwell only twice, but both visits have been the best urgent care experiences Ive had. Clean facilities, no long waits, and professional and courteous staff. Northwell will be my go to urgent care place from now on.
Minimal waiting, polite staff and was able to get diagnosed very quickly and efficiently. Highly recommended.
P.A. Nicole is a rockstar. The staff was professional and friendly. Wait time was minimal. Facility and equipment is top of the line. I was diagnosed, treated and released within 1-2 hours (was also given an IV). My prescription to the pharmacy was send right away.5 STAR.
The woman at the front desk, Annalise went above and beyond to make my preschool aged child comfortable from the waiting room to when my little one was afraid to take the strep and covid test. As a former employee of Northwell, I am aware that employees like this are taken for granted in a corporate setting.Worship her, shes a godsend.
My doctor was wonderful!!!
The man at the front desk was so unhelpful and refused to get an office manager for me to speak with. My 6 year old has been there before but for whatever reason, she wasn’t seen. I’m pretty sure there system has her information in there but since everyone’s fixated on the Omicron variant, regular illnesses are unimportant. My child is 6 years old by the way. They definitely could use a training in bedside manner.
The wait was very short and the process of filling out the forms on my phone while in the car was simple. The doctor that spoke with me was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to others!
The nicest and helpful medical staff I’ve ever met at an urgent care or medical practice. Timely and attentive. Would recommend.
Very professional, fast service, takes appointments online.
I am very concerned about the level of qualified medical personnel working at this urgent care facility. I brought my son to this facility earlier this week. He was presenting with a high fever. Upon examination I was told he had a massive ear infection, so bad that he would possibly need IV antibiotics to treat it. Additionally I was told he should have a chest X-ray done even though he was not presenting with any upper respiratory symptoms. While I did not agree to the Xray, I did walk out of the urgent care with a prescription for antibiotics which I was told he must be given right away. I gave one dose of the medication before bed and an hour later my son vomited. I decided to take him to his regular pediatrician the next day before giving him anymore medication. To my utter surprise no more than 15 hours after a serious diagnosis my pediatrician found no sign of an ear infection. He was diagnosed with a stomach virus and is currently doing fine and back to school.
Office was very clean and up to date with state of the art technology. Staff were friendly and kind. Went above what they had to and doubled checked things for me. There was little to no wait time. Was in and out in about 25 mins. I would absolutely recommend northwell to anyone looking for quick but professional care.
Was in and out. The whole team was very nice and made sure my unfortunate visit was pretty pleasant. They even did a follow up call. My own general doctor doesn’t even do that. I totally recommend them.
Very professional all of the staff but a special thank you to the provider Chelsea G. She was wonderful. Very calming, direct and to the point.
When I am sick, or my children we always go to this urgent care because they are efficient, and always on time. The staff are really nice too.
I had PA Jessica. She not only was extremely knowledgeable, she asked me in-depth questions about my illness. I felt comfortable with everyone especially Jessica. She is a true gem and a real asset to our community.
I dont normally like this urgent care. I had a bad experience last year but this time I had a really good doctor. Anytime I go back, I will ask for him ONLY!
Its a very clean environment and the staff is really nice. The doctor actually listened to everything that I had to say and answered all of my questions. As well as took her time explaining everything very well.
The staff was kind and friendly, professional, and very efficient in their medical knowledge. And no wait time at all. They gave me excellent advice, for which I am most thankful!
I brought my elder sister i who had just had an accident (fell in Shoprite) and was greeted by a very snotty curt receptionist. My sister is 77 and I am 65 and when the receptionist asked for a phone number I assumed it was my home number and got in a huff when she said she sent the demographic form to my home.Once we got past her the PA and tech were great. As it tirns out my 77 year old sister broke her patella.
Deep cut on my finger could not stop the bleeding, went to GoHealth Urgent care, staf friendly. And treated me great
They dont know how to talk to kids.
Frank was a great help to me and my health journey he made sure I wasn’t dehydrated, gave me and IV and a pillow so I was comfortable! Very impressed I will be going to this urgent care only super nice people
I have never written a review about any establishment, but this place is such a disappointment. My child was misdiagnosed. I was told he had a virus when he infact had pneumonia. This establishment seems to focus more on technology/ overall look rather than the quality of services rendered. The PAs should confirm their diagnosis with actual physicians.Proceed with caution.
I did not receive any medication, it has been a week and I am still sick. I m pretty sure the insurance was billed, but I got no treatment. They told me just to take Motrin.
Horrible front dest, she should be fired for how she treated a sick person who has multiple sclerosis! Telling me why am I here ? Like cause I’m sick? Or wait cuz I just love to come and waste my time at a doctors office. & when I tell her why I’m there because I’m coughing her response was “great” like excuse me? I had to go to a different urgent care because she literally made me cry. #shameONher #karamaisaBHope you get what I got! Upper respiratory infection!
Excellent staff and timely treatment
I went in feeling very ill and they saw me right away. Was in and out within a good timeframe. They also made sure i had the proper medicine for covid to make sure i felt better
I will absolutely go on record to say this is the best Urgicenter on the South Shore. I have been to other Urgis on the South Shore that were an absolute nightmare. Northwell is just the best. Any family or friends needing to be seen by a doctor? Send them to Northwell Urgi on Hylan and Garretson and they will be taken care of🙏❤
I usually don’t leave reviews but I feel this is warranted. I’ve usually had good experiences here and I don’t know what happened today, but the staff was very rude, combative and unhelpful today. When I expressed my concerns they actually laughed at me. I really got the feeling that they couldn’t be bothered with me. Not what I’m looking for in a health care facility. Will not be returning here.
I was very happy with the Dr.& Staff. They saw me very fast. The place was very clean. I highly recommend this urgent care to everyone. Thank you for making me feel better.
I’ve been to this place about 3 times and each time there was no wait. The PA’s and staff are wonderful and are great with listening while offering alternatives to medication. I will always visit this office should the need arise. Highly recommend
I visited their location on Hylan and had a great experience. Prompt service. Professional and thorough staff.
In and out in 20 min. Took my 9 year old to test for strep and get an evaluation for flu like symptoms. Everyone was great, Dr. Kim actually listened to my opinion, unlike most MDs who think they know better. Did not push meds, antibiotics or Tammiflu. Highly recommend.
