Yesterday we had a great visit. Unfortunately the last time my son went to Midwest - the doctor scraped inside of my son’s ear and it bled. The doctor that time checked to make sure nothing was damaged and he was okay. However, he became terrified of going to the doctors. We would walk in to a wellness visit and he would freak out, so when we went to Midwest yesterday I explained to both nurse and doctor he would be nervous/upset because he is scared to get his ears checked. Both the doctor and nurse did so well and were patient with him! He felt great afterwards. Best experience there so far! Thank you!
I went to the clinic yesterday feeling very sick, my throat hurt a lot and I had fever. The doctor told me that she was going to send a prescription over to the pharmacy and I should be able to pick it up in half an hour. She never did, I had to call the clinic the next morning to ask about my prescription and they said that the doctor didnt send it over. They didnt even know what the name of the prescription was because the doctor didnt add it to my chart, so they told me they needed to look into it and call me once the prescription was ready. The staff did call me back promptly, but I think they should pay more attention to their patients.
I always have a great experience at Midwest Express Clinic. They are truly better than a typical urgent care— the wait time is minimal, and the staff is incredibly friendly and professional. The whole process is smooth and efficient, and always feel well taken care of. I highly recommend them for anyone needing quick and reliable care!

My left ear was clogged with wax. I couldn’t hear out of it and it was very uncomfortable. Even after getting it flushed out, there was still a stubborn piece at the back of my ear. Rebecca was patient and kind with me and she continued to work at it until it was removed. Thank you so much. I greatly appreciate you and your team!!!
I had my first experience at this clinic yesterday and I highly highly recommend this clinic for any medical need! Staff was very professional and kind. Scheduling was quick and easy, and I was seen very quickly after I checked in!
The Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.The nurse was very knowledgeable and attentive.The doctor was very helpful in explaining my issue and explaining what was going on with my knee. She also was prompt in following up with me regarding my x-ray results.The entire staff was Great!!
I came here on a Monday morning when they first opened. I only waited about 25 minutes to be seen, as there were 3 patients ahead of me. The receptionist could NOT have been nicer. She explained things in a manner that made me feel at ease and not rushed. The intake nurse who got my vitals could NOT have been kinder. She was very discreet and understanding. And the provider who saw me, did the exam, went over my test results and talked to me could NOT have been more informative, patient, friendly, thorough…etc. you get the picture. I told her that I was amazed by how well her team treated me the entire time I was there. They are absolutely awesome, and I plan to go back to this location next time I’m in need.
I’ve been @ this location 4 times in the last two years for myself & my toddler & honestly 10/10 all across the board, make sure to register online prior to just walking in! All of my visits have been in & out! Very little wait time! Facility very clean, All the staff are very nice, great listeners & very informative! I love it here!

I brought my little girl for an appointment close to closing and the staff beginning with the front desk to the nurse, doctor and other staff were amazing. They were so kind, welcoming and made my little one feel so special. Qale of the front desk, was extremely friendly and welcoming. She went above and beyond and gave a special gift to my little one and sent us home with one for her brother too. The doctor was so sweet and patient and calmed her immediately. Thank you all for the kindness and for helping us.
Never come here!!! Avoid this location at all cost. Common sense is not SO COMMON. Qamar Saleh avoid that Dr at all cost. They literally want your funds with no progressive treatment. I came in because I shattered a candle in my hand. I asked the receptionist before I was seen. Will I be fully treated here? She said yes once I get to the back, the doctor cleaned my hand and said they didn’t have x-ray and sent me to the hospital I could’ve just went to the hospital so then I said I don’t feel like I should have to pay a co-pay for a second time because. You offer the full service of getting an x-ray but for whatever reason it wasn’t available today. A doctor I’m assuming with a degree said that I could go home and come back tomorrow with glass in my hand. This is what a Doctor or nurse practitioner said to me I expressed my frustration Because I feel like it was a half job I pay $50 Then in the same day within the same hour, go to emergency room to pay another hundred dollar. These people that doctor, they do not have your best interest medically. I’m a shame of this location because I use Midwest express Of my medical needs I’ve never hit the ball just dropped on me medical emergency this way.

Took my son there to see a doctor. The doctor and staff was amazing. However, the wait was over an hour with a two-year-old. I was told I would get my test results back from quest diagnostics within 2 to 3 business days then when I didn’t get the test results, I called back and they said it was 4 to 5 business days, still didn’t get the results. Called back four days later and they said they had the results, but they couldn’t share the results with me because my email was used for some other place. And I have to come all over again just to go over the results.Please make it a bit easier for mothers and people with children to come in there. Not everybody has transportation not everybody has time What if my son needed antibiotics right away and wasn’t able to get them because I had no way to the office. It’s 2024 cmon
I came in from out of state to get my DOT physical the staff was excellent treated me like I been coming there for years i will recommend them to other drivers and i will return there for my next physical
First thing I did was fill out the preregistration information online. Anything to make the wait shorter which helped immensely. Was called back in a reasonable amount of time, waited. 26 minutes for the NPA or APN(?). to come in, but realizing their were 3 patients before me, I didn’t think this was too horrible of a wait. Once she came into the room it was quickly business which was great. NPA was quick to diagnose and get done what was needed quickly.Overall, I walked out feeling so much better than when I walked in. I had a great experience… thanks!
Visited recently for a respiratory illness & was impressed with the quickness, quality, professionalism & kindness of the care I received from the entire staff...from the receptionist Alycia, to MA Jacqueline & Amar the NP who treated me & also a very efficient XRay technician (whom I didnt catch her name). Thanks to all of them & their kind care, I am on the road to recovery! I would definitely go there again should the need arise.
Zarri is the absolute best . Very respectful well mannered she always handles me with such care and always seems to uplift my spirit. We need more people like her in the world especially in the healthcare setting. Shes very professional she listen to all my concerns and offered me extra resources. It’s amazing how one person can have such impact on your day . She may not be aware of this but im glad i cane in today and she happened to be on the clock . A scam for tests.I came here for some tests and don’t have the best insurance, sadly. So I have to pay out of pocket mainly, okay fine. I figured this would be a good place to get this done.I took the tests and they basically corner you to schedule a follow-up appointment in order to received your test results. You don’t have any other option besides scheduling a follow up.I didn’t think much about it until I was forced to pay nearly $200 just for a follow-up! They didn’t do anything to me, just gave me my results and I left! That’s ridiculous!! Sorry, but no. Not coming back.

Was in for a laceration in my hand. Showed up on the day they switched to a full online system and so because they were not trained properly to handle this change I sat in there for four hours only to be lied to by the “doctor”. Four hours for her to tell me she saw exposed tendons and sent me to the ER to get me out of there because they were behind due to their own incompetence only to spend another three hours where they finally took the 30 minutes needed to put five stitches in my hand. Would only make sense for an issue like mine they would take me back and at least look at it before making me wait then be sent elsewhere.
I did the online check-in which was really simple once the ID upload stopped glitching. The wait time was very minimal. All of the staff were friendly. I saw Nurse Practitioner Ashley Novy and she had a great bedside manner. It was nice that she didnt push antibiotics and steroids like Ive seen at other urgent care centers. Overall my visit was great and I highly recommend.
Came in on a Sunday for a teenage sports physical for school that was needed, it was so easy to book online, & so reasonable. 30 dollars! I called around at all the other clinics & Minute Express had openings on a Sunday! We only waited 10 minutes & had a few simple patient history forms to fill out. The office was very clean, front desk was so polite, & the doctor was kind & efficient and even walked us out to the front desk & handed us all our needed paperwork for the school. I will definitely be bringing all 4 of my kids here if we can not get into our regular pediatrician. Very impressed & located in a great area next to Starbucks which is a plus for tired Moms.

If you dont have insurance I dont recommend coming to any of these locations. I specifically chose to go to Midwest Clinic because on their website it says they offer the procedure I need done. I wasted $125 for nothing, the only thing they did was refer me to go somewhere else when I couldve just went somewhere else to begin with & actually had my money go towards getting help.

My Daughter hurt her ankle while playing a sport at school...so I took her to Midwest for xrays and to get her ankle checked out...we were in and out, back home within an hr and they called about her xrays and told me that she is okay and its just sprained!! What a relief that was. The ladies and gentlemen that work at midwest are amazing and they always great you with a smile and they take the time to explain. And your NOT waiting 5 hrs like you would at a hospital. I will always recommend Midwest to my family and friends.

First time going to urgent care ever….I arrived and did not realize I was at the location I wanted to be at, but when checking in online checked into the wrong one. Ooops. But the woman at the front desk and the NP are Wonderful! (answered my questions and nice to my son) Great parking and office is very clean!
Literally worst place ever. my son was seen, given xrays then pushed out the door without any results. turns out his finger is broken and wasnt splinted or immobilized. took 24 hours to get back to me with his xray results. How is any of this immediate care? Seriously DO NOT GO HERE.

My visit was Great due to the Receptionist and the young lady who Triaged me. Very professional and fast check in. I would have given a five star. But unfortunately it seems once your Triaged your on the Doctors time the wait was terrible.

This was my first time at Midwest and I have to say I was very pleased with how fast I was in and out in (30 mins) Everyone was very friendly and professional. Definitely will be back next time I’m sick.
I think MEC is the future of urgent care! They had an XRay tech/machine on site so I was registered as a new patient, had a pregnancy test, examination, and X-ray, all done within about an hour! WALK-IN! Wild. I predict a traditional ER or Urgent Care would have taken between 3-4 hours to get all that done!
If you want to sit in the lobby for 25 minutes then wait another 1 hour before you get seen come here. I had to leave without getting seen by a doctor after waiting almost 2hours. Their excuse is they only have 1 Doctor or 1 NP.. HIRE MORE PEOPLE THEN. I won’t ever come back here.

Took my husband to this location after being referred by another health care professional for care.Nurse Practitioner, Ashley Novak should not be licensed to practice. Ashley IS a walking medical malpractice suit waiting to happen. She lacks medical professionalism, integrity, & ethics. Misleading, lied (verbal & written documentation), misadvised on medication being an antihistamine, & suggested we go see a street pharmacist.
I want to say that I have never been to an urgent care facility from the time I walked into the facility I was greeted the receptionist was very pleasant I was treated with the utmost respect from the technicians to the nurse practitioner everything was explained to me step-by-step on what was going to happen what procedures they were going to perform I thought this might be an all-day process but thank you Midwest I was in and out in an hour and a half if I ever have to come back God willing I would go to Midwest Express
I saw provider Ashely H and I was thoroughly impressed with the level of care I received. From the moment I walked into the office, I felt welcomed and valued as a patient. Ashley is not only professional but also incredibly attentive; she took the time to listen to all of my concerns without making me feel rushed. Her knowledge and expertise were evident as she addressed each of my questions with depth and clarity. What stood out the most, however, was her genuine care for my well-being. Its not often you come across a physician who combines such professionalism with a heartfelt concern for their patients. Thank you also to the NP’s assistant Ms. Danita for her professionalism as well.

This clinic is great!! We’ve been here at least 6-8 times since it has opened. Each time the front desk is nice and efficient, getting you ready and in to see the dr quick. The facility is clean and well kept. The nurse practitioner each time was thorough friendly and very knowledgeable. This is a perfect example of an emergent care clinic giving great care!! Everyone was very kind and polite. They accept many different types of insurance. The waiting room had a Disney movie playing which entertained my 5 year old. The facility is immaculately clean. I would definitely recommend this clinic to everyone!

I come in weekly to get a B12 injection; the wait is minimal and the staff was very courteous. I received my injection and was out the door. I make an appoint for the next week with ease.
Biggest rip-off. Be sure to ask what the cash prices before you even disclose the fact that you have insurance otherwise theyre going to completely rip you off. I went in to get a covid, flu, and strep test when I thought I was sick. I was maybe in the building for 20-30 minutes at most. Disgusting greed

The ladies in the office were truly amazing and easygoing. Most time when you go to a clinic, it’s either take too long, have nasty attitude or simply just don’t care..but not this location! I loved it. I went for my DOT medical card renewal and was done within 30 min of arriving.

This is one of the worst clinics. My father came in with cold sweats and a high fever and they still released him said everything was perfectly fine and never called back with any test results.(they did not do their job) they did not care for him. Now we are at a better hospital and they took him in as soon as they got his results. If we had waited any longer he would not be here. DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC! We are Hispanic and they did not care for us.

Im not the type of person to normally leave reviews, but I felt compelled in this instance. I took my son in around 7 pm because he was sick, fever, lethargic, not eating or acting like himself....congested, etc. The NP who I believe was named Lauren who examined him was maybe in the room for about 5 min, asked about his symptoms but didnt really seem to care or was even listening. She proceeded to try and look into his ears, all the while having me put my arms around him almost as in a headlock and using my other hand to hold his face which just felt wrong. He started to cry really badly and she was getting frustrated, I could tell and upset because I wasnt holding him tight enough....well yeah, Im not gonna hold a 19 month old toddler in a headlock, its just wrong. I was very confused about this method. She took forever to look in his ears and he was crying in pain so I questioned if she put the probe too far in his ear, and she said she didnt and she seemed upset I questioned her. After that she loosely says Oh, his ear looks red so Im just gonna say its an ear infection, Im not gonna bother looking in his throat. Ill send a couple of meds. Exit is that way. Im just literally in shock at the whole thing. Im starting to get mad, my bf tells me to calm down. Well, my son does not have an ear infection, he isnt even touching his ears and they look completely normal. The only thing I saw in his ears was small abrasions from where she was poking at him, not even in the right place! And yes, they were not there before I brought him in. I ended up contacting his pediatrician who gave me BETTER ADVICE, showed more COMPASSION and EMPATHY...so I followed that and now he is doing much better. I am just disgusted and amazed that medical providers can be so uncaring and selfish and get away with working like this. So the only star Im giving this place is for the MA who was kind and the quickness of which we were able to get in. Thats it. I plan on taking my urgent care business elsewhere and hope to God that NP doesnt treat any other child - or adult for that matter - like that AGAIN.
I thought I might have had Strep, I made an appt on line. You take photos of ID and insurance on the website. Which are now saved for the future. Almost no check in when you get there. Went to triage quickly. They did rapid strep test. I left within a half hour with a script sent right to my pharmacy. For a quick test, it’s fantastic!

I was very impressed with the level of care that I received. They were very kind and compassionate. I highly recommend Midwest express and I would definitely use them again if needed. I was informed to call for my lab results but all they did was email them to me. I was unable to understand what they meant. It would be nice if someone talked to me about the results.

Amazing experience. The front desk lady, medical assistant, and doctor were all extremely kind and knowledgeable. They figured out the cause of my ear pain and found ways to help me manage it. This place is definitely the place to go if you need to visit an urgent care facility.
I registered online at a different location, when I called to ask a question about holding my spot in line, she told me it’s not an appointment, it’s only to hold your spot for registration and the wait is 1.5 hours. So I called this location before I went in and they told me the wait is 45 minutes. I get in there and they told me I have to wait 2 hours. I decided to wait because the wait didn’t look so bad. I sat there for 2 hours until triage seen me and then she told me I needed to wait another hour to see a provider. I walked out and left. Don’t waste peoples time and staff needs to communicate clearly to each other. Another person walked in while I was there and called ahead of time, when she showed up, they refused to take her. My case was extremely minimal and I knew what was needed and they couldn’t help me.
Office was okay, but the receptionist computer monitor was held together with tape. The test results are handled by a 3rd party website (Quest Diagnostic). I needed to make an account and then it asked me to confirm the year and model of my car, and my college. I didnt appreciate my results being locked behind something so invasive.
The office got me checked in quickly and the Nurse and Nurse Pracritioner were both very kind. I needed a doctors note for work and she was happy to oblige. I will definitely be back.Thanks
Update: service definitely went down hill. Brought my daughter in bc she fell of bleachers and couldn’t move arm much and pain near clavicle. NP comes in and examines her. Moves arm around saying it’s not broken. Just badly bruised. Doesn’t feel comfortable taking an xray. But will if I want. I said yes and was told to sign consent form. Reiterating that it’s not a break. Calls later with results saying it’s not broken.Fast forward 5 days later. She has swelling in clavicle and still not able to move arm much. Different NP examines her. Says same thing. It’s not broken. Read the xray herself and said it’s badly sprained. When I mention swelling said she’s need to see ortho. They should do an mri. She doesn’t want to put her through more radiation with another xray.Fast forward another week until can get in to ortho. Who took another xray bc cd I was given was blank. It shows clean break. When I pulled up original xray with QR code from Midwest she says it shows break in their xray.My question is do they not radiologist that read these X-rays? I understand it takes a trained eye like radiologist or orthopedic that are used to reading X-rays to catch it. But my main issue that upsets me was they kept telling me she’s just scared to move it and to help her move it around to get muscle moving. Which could have made her break much worse. Do NOT confirm it’s not a break unless you know how to read an xray. And definitely don’t tell them to move it around. Very disappointed in service with both NP.Original: Brought my 6yo in for possible pink eye. She was so patient dealing with my daughter. So sweet with her and made her feel comfortable and not scared. She went home laughing and excited she received a tiara, sucker and sticker even though she knew eyes drops were coming when she gets home lol.

UPDATE: An antibiotic prescribed to my 10 yr old son by a dr at midwest clinic caused him to excessively vomit and caused diarrhea that was horrible. When I tried to call for help on what to do I was told they couldnt do anything because the dr my son saw was at another location and they would have to contact that dr to get another antibiotic prescribed to him. I was told they were contacting that dr and they would call me back that day before the end of the day and not only did I not get a call back THAT day but they didnt call me for 2 more days either. I finally called back for a 3rd time after no one from Midwest called to update me. My son was violently ill obviously from the dosage of the antibiotic they gave him and they couldnt even call me back to tell me to at least stop the medication (which I already did of course anyways). Currently I am still since on hold bc no one can give me any info or a straight answer about who I talked to before at the front desk that took my message and why no one called or followed up with me to prescribe my son a new antibiotic option. After answering me they are still trying to reach the other dr (3 days later) and unless we come back in and pay for another visit to see a different dr they will not prescribe him a different antibiotic. Now I have to wait to be seen by my sons pediatrician instead bc this was a waste of time to help his infection and delayed the process of getting him cleared of the infection by another 3 days and 2 additional co-payments and 3 visits later hes still sick and all we did was spend 2 days trying to relieve the symptoms of the medication he was prescribed...
Went in on Friday and Reilly thought that I had a spider bite, gave me antibiotic salve and pills. Got worse. Went back on Sunday and thought that it was an allergic reaction from salve. Went to my regular doctor on Monday and was told that I had shingles and he put me on medicine for shingles. So very unhappy that I didn’t get the right diagnosis to begin with because with shingles it is important to start the medicine right away. Also the shingles are on my eyelids and eyebrows and if left undiagnosed could lead to blindness in the eye. My doctor knew as soon as he looked at me that it wasn’t a spider bite.
Bit of a wait but worth it. They were extremely busy but all very nice and did their best to get everyone taken care of while still being patient and pleasant. Dary attended to me and fixed up my finger and gave me a tetanus shot. She was amazing! 🤩 So great that this is my first ever review! Will recommend to everyone. Wow this place was super friendly and fast. Literally right after I turned all the check in paperwork in about 3mins later they called me in. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, even the lady at the front desk. I was at Ingalls family care center in tinley on 159th and the experience was horrible, the lady was rude at registration and didn’t answer my question weather it was a urgent care center so I left and came to this place and they really had brighten up my day. This place deserves more than 5 stars.
KNOW YOUR INSURANCE BENEFITSThe first time I went to the location in Tinley Park I was told my copay was $50 to pay upfront. I didnt think it was right but it was my first time and they insisted thats what it was when they pulled my insurance. Months later I see an EOB that says my portion should have been ZERO dollars. I was irritated but figured at least they now know my actual insurance coverage and I went through the process to get my refund from the clinic since they dont automatically issue them without request. Today, I go in for a similar sick visit and they once again tell me I need to pay $50 to be seen. I explain what happened the first time and they said they cant see i was issued a refund only that I need to pay $50 to be seen . The manager came out and said the same thing. I asked if we could call billing together, thry said they wouldnt do that and I would have to call billing on my own after insurance is billed. Even showing them my EOB from the previous visit with proof my insurance pays these visits in full wasnt good enough for them. I was repeatedly told I needed to pay to be seen, so thats what I did. After leaving my visit, I called the billing department and explained the office insisted I needed to pay $50 based on the information they got from my insurance. The billing department looked in my account and said that that shouldnt have been the case and that I should have questioned it there in the office so they could have billed me correctly. I told her that thats exactly what I tried to do. So now I would like a refund. The billing department said they put in a request to refund me within 24 hours, and that there is now no on file that I shouldnt have to pay anytime me or a family member goes for a sick visit. Although Im not sure I will be returning, its unfortunate because they are the closest and the fastest express care near me but I just cant believe the way this was handled. I advise that anyone whos been there check their EOBs and make sure they are not due a refund.

She was filling in from Cicero & I wish I could have her as my go to primary doctor!!!!!!!!

I was in recently due to strep. The front desk staff was very kind and professional. The wait time was about an hour before I saw the nurse practioner but a wait is always expected with any type of urgent care, they did have options for check in to have set appointments which is awesome. The triage tech was great and listened to all my concerns. The nurse practioner was quick and kind, listened to my concerns and immediately sent in a prescription for me to start. I havent had many good immediate/urgent care experiences in the past, this was by far the best one Ive ever had. 5/5 stars.

Dont even have to make an appointment! Just go to their website and check-in so they already have all your information. Then you just walk in at your convenience. Literally took maybe 5 minutes to fill out online information. Once arriving at the office we were in and out, 20 minutes max! Plus prescription had already been sent to the pharmacy. Definitely the best clinic visit I had ever been to.

I chose this urgent care clinic based on previous glowing reviews, and in the end, I was not disappointed. Everyone I interacted with was professional, friendly and kind. The clinic was clean, pleasant and cheerful, my waiting room time was surprisingly brief. And then there was my actual experience with treatment, which was exceptional. I had an embedded tick removed from my finger, which involved some necessary pain. My NP along with an assist from another very kind & patient healthcare practitioner who guided her and held my other hand through the procedure. A prescription for antibiotics was quickly called into my pharmacy. If I ever need urgent care in the future, absolutely this is where I would go. Thank you everyone! Five radiant stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💕
I used the Midwest Express Clinic in Tinley Park. They provided fast service with a smile. The young lady at the desk was courteous. Both the nurse and nurse practitioner were great. My wait was not long and they provided fast and excellent service. I would definitely use the Midwest Express Clinic again.

Daughter was misdiagnosed. I had to pay for a 2nd visit 1 1/2 days later because her condition had worse. Also had to pay for a 2nd medication since the first did not work.
On Friday I went to the lakeview location because it is near my work and they were fantastic! I was treated with respect, tests were run, I was prescribed medications, and received a diagnosis. The next day I developed a fever and my symptoms did not improve. I decided to go to this location, near my home, that was a mistake. I do not feel the provider at this location listened to my concerns and provided poor patient care. Her recommendation to me was to monitor my fever and apply a cold compress she also kept suggesting I had covid, even though I had already been diagnosed with an infection and prescribed antibiotics at the lakeview location a day prior. She did not repeat any testing or recommend any additional testing such as bloodwork, which had not been done yet. She kept trying to push covid on me and asking if I was sneezing and coughing, which I wasn’t, those were never symptoms I was experiencing. She told me to go home and take Tylenol. So I did, and then I had to go the ER because my fever got worse and was in fact related to the bacterial infection in my body and was not because of covid. I needed to receive IV antibiotics and was prescribed additional oral antibiotics by the ER. I will never go to this location again.
The front desk is very friendly and efficient. I came in and was the first one. Then another person came in and was able to fill paperwork out faster. I figured I would have to wait longer but I was called first.The PA was very friendly and knew exactly what was going on. I was told what to do and prescribed an antibiotic. Will definitely go back if I need immediate assistance.

Did not do ear irrigation lying saying that she would blow my ear drums. She could have done it softly other provider say you can clean your ears weekly. She really didn’t want to do it. But it’s cool Amazon will have my money not Midwest express had me wait 2 hours to not provide anything but some flimsy nasal spray. Sorry facility

My husband went in and voiced his concerns to the doctor, who dismissed everything he said and then refused to do any further testing or labs. She then decided to tell him she was also sick and still at work, in an attempt to downplay his symptoms and told him he was fine to be at work, which my husband works a very physically and mentally demanding job that doesn’t consist of being in a warm office, telling patients their symptoms aren’t real or not as bad as they think, but that’s beside the point. The whole appointment felt very transactional, as I said before she wasn’t even paying attention to him while he told her his symptoms, she seemed to be in a hurry to move on to the next patient, appointment was all of 3 minutes.
I feel compelled to share my recent experience at Midwest Express Clinic to ensure others are aware and hopefully prevent anyone from encountering similar distressing circumstances. As a healthcare provider myself, specializing in psychiatry, I approached my visit with the expectation of receiving professional and compassionate care, especially during a delicate time as I was experiencing a miscarriage.Upon arriving at Midwest Express Clinic, I was greeted with concern by medical assistants and Nurse Practitioner Sandeep regarding my health condition. Sandeep was compassionate and assured me that my Hcg level would be drawn shortly. While I understand clinics can get busy, I had been waiting for an hour, feeling dehydrated, and endured several unsuccessful attempts by medical assistants to draw my blood (all of whom were kind and understanding, despite my difficult veins).Feeling emotionally and physically exhausted after a full day of work and patient care, I requested water from the last medical assistant, who informed me that NP Sandeep would come in to try. Instead, Naila entered the room without introducing herself and proceeded to inform me of the difficulty of my veins. Frustrated, I asked for someone with experience, to which Naila responded by stating she did not appreciate my attitude and raised her voice, declaring, I will not be spoken to like that! and Im not drawing your blood!Shocked and upset by her behavior, I asserted my rights as a patient, stating firmly, Excuse me? Im the patient, and youre the provider. You cant talk to patients like that. Naila then threatened to call 911, claiming I was hostile. She continued creating a scene in the hallway, insisting I leave or she would involve law enforcement.Feeling distressed and emotionally drained, I took a deep breath, walked out, and approached the front desk to request the patient advocates contact information. This encounter left me feeling neglected and abandoned during a critical moment of need, as Naila’s refusal to provide necessary care violated fundamental principles of patient care and undermined trust in healthcare providers.I did reach out to the patient advocate, and Madison was exemplary in her response—empathetic, attentive, and apologetic, agreeing that no patient should be treated in such a manner. Later, another patient advocate member called apologizing and empathetic which I appreciated. As healthcare providers, we are trained to be empathetic and caring towards patients, and we are taught how to deescalate situations, not escalate them.It is my sincere hope that by sharing my experience, others will be empowered to advocate for their own care and recognize the importance of professionalism and empathy in healthcare settings.
I have not yet secured a primary physician and was feeling poorly. I did the online registration and went to the clinic shortly after they opened. The experience was top drawer from reception, to intake right through to exam and prescription.

I was at this clinic two days in a row. One day was afternoon and next day was early morning with my son. They got me in and out within 30 minutes if that. And day two with my son, I was literally seen at 8am and walking out at 8:15! They are exceptional! I will always take the ride to go see them instead of the urgent care closer to me! The ladies were also kind and happy to do their job!
The place was busy but in the middle of cold season it can be expected. Was in an exam room within a few minutes of my appointment time which was a good thing. They were fast and professional.I would recommend them.

I loved this place for the convenience of how close it is to us and how exceptionally nice the employees were especially after working in an urgent care setting prior they were amazing. But the downfall is that if you don’t want to be charged the same as an ER for a simple glue fix to an eyebrow or anything of that nature don’t come here. A little shady how they charge. I worked an an urgent care setting for over 6 years and we did many lacerations, sutures, casting you name it and they were never billed as the same as a ER. If I would’ve known I obviously wouldn’t have gone there for something so simple. And this has nothing to do with insurance. We have one of the most widely accepted insurances and I spoke to the insurance company regarding this matter and it’s 100 percent how they coded and billed it all for more money.
Wonderful staff! I think I waited 40 minutes as a walkin. Really not a bad wait. And was seen right away when taken into the back. Prescriptions were sent immediately to my pharmacy and Ive already started to feel better.
Day 4 of RSV 😷Kyler is feeling much better but his breathing is still not well. We need to continue breathing treatments and antibiotics. But so happy he is finally walking around and talking again. He really scared us when his oxygen levels dropped into the 80’s and glad we didn’t have to take him to the hospital thanks to Midwest Express Clinic and Dr. Anita. We can not thank you enough for the care and treatments you helped our little guy get through this. After getting in the car leaving the visit Avery says she loves that Doctor ❤️
I wish there were a 10-star option on here because the Midwest Express Clinic off of Harlem in Tinley Park deserves that!! We were very impressed with the Midwest Express Clinic!!! We had just moved to the area, had two sick little ones, and over an hour from our pediatricians. So appreciative of the quality of care my boys got here!!

I hate going to the doctor for anything so I’m always apprehensive but from the moment I walked in I felt comfortable and I had preregistered so no annoying paperwork. They took me right away and my Doctor made me feel relaxed. I had a bad sinus infection and she checked me out, prescribed medication, answered all my questions and told me by tomorrow you’ll feel better. She was right and hopefully this thing will totally clear up soon. Thank you Doctor Derry!

I have generally had a good experience with this location....I Recently (July) got a TB test through Midwest Express Clinic (Tinley park) that was required for employment, everything went very smoothly in the office. I was told I would be contacted with the results with in a week or so. I called today to find out that they dont have a record in my file of taking a TB test. The receptionist was nice enough to look into it further to find out their diagnostic center does have a record but didnt have enough specimen (blood). I was charged as well having blood drawn for a service they didnt make a record of in there own system? Where is my blood at, why was I billed, and why was I not contacted are all questions I have right now.Im disappointed and kinda shocked to say the least.
The Doctor was extremely thorough, took her time to answer my questions. She was compassionate, had bedside manners. I had several vials of blood drawn for tests, my veins were rolling. She made small talk and jokes to lighten up the stress. Highly recommend
Made an 11am appointment for a DOT physical and was told your appointment doesnt matter until you actually check in and get in line so I called ahead and asked how many people are waiting and was told 3. Got there 7 minutes later and there were 10.Was told I could wait in my car because there were people coughing and the place was like a sardine can. Waited in my car for over an hour and went inside to check how much longer the wait would be. She claimed they called me and it went directly to VM and they left a message. I showed ger my call log and VM and she says sorry i have to put yiu back at the bottom of the list. What a joke. I walked out. Wasted almost 2 hours

I dont go to doctors or clinics since the covid situation and had to go to get a concerning nasal issue looked at on Easter Sunday. I was happy to see masks were not forced and the staff was very pleasant. Its a new facility and was clean and beautiful. I would definitely visit again if the need arose.

What a knockout staff! My son & I have to visit frequently due to the autoimmune disease he has, but the Tinley Park location of Midwest Express has made both of our lives much easier & comfortable. The desk staff always greet us kindly & readily. The waiting time is so minimal, we barely need our cell phones to kill time. I’m sure there are many names to note, but N.P. Caryn has been so caring, sweet & thorough. I HIGHLY recommend Midwest Express for quick healing wrapped up nicely in smiles from all of their staff.

The entire process was very quick and done within an hour. I checked in and filled out my paperwork as soon as I got there. The nurse quickly checked my vitals, gave me my covid and flu tests that I initially came in for due to concern about my covid symptoms then walked me over to the room that Dr. Riley soon came to speak with me in. Everyone was very pleasant.

It was very easy to pre register for the appointment and when I got there everything was set up in the system. I was the 3 rd person in line it took about 15 minutes to get triaged and then another 10 minutes before the doctor came in.Doctor was very professional listening to my symptoms and checking me overe. Al’s in all it was easier than going to my regular doctor.

I took my one year old son, one week ago , to this clinic. They misdiagnosed him with an ear infection and prescribed him antibiotics for 10 days. I know he was misdiagnosed because 2 days later after visiting the clinic, his symptoms were not improving, just getting worse, so i took him to emergency where 3 different doctors looked at his ears and confirmed to me that he has no ear infection. In fact he had a viral infection that didn’t require medication. Im very disappointed by this clinic.

I use urgent care twice a year, or so, for acute sinusitis. It can get quite severe. Anyway, as I was getting sick I B-lined to the urgent care I have used in the past which is a few miles from home. They were closed, of course….so I googled up the newest alternative and Midwest Express in Tinley Park turned up. I called, and the lady/nurse that answered was sweet and kind, and she informed me things were quiet at the time, so I B-lined straight there. The receptionist was very sweet and kind too. Then the nurse with whom I spoke on the phone took me back to an exam room and did all the vitals, etc., then a few minutes later this absolutely beautiful woman in a white lab coat walks in and introduced herself, Josiah, perhaps different spelling. But she was amazing and gave me the exact treatment I needed to stop the acute sinus infection. I hope she reaches all of her aspirations as a physician and more.

6 months ago my rating was 5 stars! Yesterday I went in and I was literally refused complete care by the nurse practioner! I went in for multiple reasons. From my ears and throat hurting to a visible stye on my eye. To waking up and not being able to walk or put weight on my ankle. I was TOLD either I get the top or respiratory part of my body checked out OR I get an X-ray done. I had to chose ONE because insurance will think they are trying to defraud them and will not pay for my visit! I chose the X-ray because I was worried my ankle may be sprained. Even after expressing the need for a simple physical Check up. My other concerns were dismissed & not addressed. Ive been taking over the counter medicines for days. Yet the pain isnt getting better and the stye isnt fully healing. Not a hypochondriac but what i have something that requires antibiotics. But Id never know unless I go see my pcp; whos didnt have openings; or if I go to a hospital; which is made for more severe emergencies. I thought thats the purpose of an URGENT CARE to get FULLY taken care of ASAP. Staff was nice but not enough to fully do their job. Because I went home and was told to do what I was already doing. Which hasnt been completely working which is why I went there in the first place!

My 10yr old was seen for a cough that came from Covid. He listened to her lungs, nothing else. Said I’ll give her a prescription for cough syrup. Went to pharmacy to pick it up- he gave her an anitibiotic in pill form. I had to call back to have him send in a liquid form of cough syrup. Went to pharmacy again, he prescribed amoxicillin. Another antibiotic. She didn’t need antibiotics, she needed cough syrup as he said he was going to prescribe. Now waiting to see if he can send it the right medicine. Meanwhile I have a 10yr old with out any relief- would not recommend. Kind of scary just writing off wrong meds not once but twice .
The nurse and the dr were both very nice and funny and caring. It was a good experience, and Im glad I have this option so close to home when I need it.

This was honestly the best experience I have ever had at a clinic. I usually get pretty nervous but I felt much more relaxed after the visit and lab tests. Great experience!
