Needed to have wax removed from my 89 year old Mother’s ears. It was impacting her ability to hear. They were very gentle with her and the process. Showed care and patience. They also cared for her earlier this year with another health issue. Always treat her health with care and kindness. Signing up for an appointment and seeing staff was easy. Same when we checked in.
My mother had a wonderful experience with NP Laura. She had been sick for weeks and Laura was very quick a precise with her exam, and sent her for a chest X-ray. Even though the radiologist said they didn’t see anything, Laura looked a little closer to find inflammation in her lungs and decided to treat her anyway. We could not be more grateful, even after just over 24 hours of antibiotics, my mom is beginning to improve. Laura is the type of health care provider who looks closely and cares about her patients. A huge thank you from my mother and I both.
I was very happy with the service. They didnt look like they were busy but they had a steady flow of patients and they kept things moving. The staff was polite and professional and nice to be around when your not feeling well. They did a great job!
Brought my 4 month son here to get help as his eyes were red and had yellow discharge, made an appointment still had to wait 35 minutes, talked to the doctor she didn’t tell me his diagnosis just told me she would call in a eye drop. Went to go pick up said eye drops and it was an eye cream instead she didn’t mention anything about a cream or how to use it or any instructions on this eye cream. Front desk girl on her phone the whole time she even had a little stand for it to charge on she was more worried about her phone then getting people in and helped in a timely manner.
First time going to this Urgent Care and it was a good experience! I get anxious going to the Doctors and they made me feel comfortable. The staff and Gina Wilkins FNP were very nice and helped me ease my nerves. I’ll definitely be coming back here for any future emergencies!
Booked an appointment for 12 and arrived early as i was asked however i was not seen until 12:50 and three walk in’s went ahead of me to be seen. receptionist and nurse i saw were great. however, the practitioner on staff was awful. zero bedside manner and seemed upset to write me a 3 day doctors note for work since i tested positive for covid. she had an attitude that i had never experienced at this location before. she assumed i had no heart conditions and when i told her i had a defect she downplayed my situation by saying “when you say defect i think you have a hole in your heart”. quite literally brushed off what i had to say. very displeased with her. the two stars are for the nurse and receptionist ONLY
Was a walk in appointment, there was only 3 people ahead of me and I only waited prob 30 min at most. They actually took the time to ask me what’s going on to diagnose me rather then just giving me prescriptions. Staff was friendly and seemed to genuinely care. Would def go back. The advantage program was super helpful with keeping the cost down.
Two months later with no help from next care I have paid $256, only I have since received an exam from another doctor, they actually examined my injury and helped me. It was a complete different experience and I could tell that the new doctor and office actually cared. The $256 doctor at next care just gave me muscle relaxers and a work note but did not perform the same examinations or tests and I am still suffering two months later. It is my opinion that this entire visit was a waste of my time and money.Another update: wasted 20 minutes in person to have the woman argue with me and tell me to go online to make the payment. I asked several times for her to swipe my cards and take the payment but walked out because 20 minutes is too much time to fight someone to take a payment. She told me I should have paid day of. I did pay day of, they updated the balance later. You call me when you want the payment.Update: I called again and pushed the number that is not for payments or the operator, and I spoke with someone. Must go in person to the location I was seen at in July to make a payment.Impossible to reach anyone to make a payment. I’ve been calling for hours, after being on hold for between 5-22 minutes per call someone answers and hangs up. Every single call. No one answers. Payment online doesn’t work.
This location is not worth your time. I had to take two children about two weeks ago, dealt with the hour wait, despite having an appointment because my kids were sick and it was four days before Christmas. Now I had to return because one of the two is having pain after ten days of antibiotics. I made an appointment for 1pm and I arrive to check in, they tell me someone else has the appointment. I show my text confirmation and she says sorry, its not you, and I can be added on as a walk in. I ask how long that will be and she says that theres 8 people in front of me. The nonchalant attitude makes it all the better too. I ask to talk to the manager and she said that she already knows because its been happening for several days.At this point my day is so chaotic, I have another appointment for another child at 2:40 and have no choice but to reschedule. She puts me in for 10:45 the next morning and I receive the confirmation text.I wake up to get ready to go and I see again the confirmation text for the appointment. Then I receive a message saying that they are CLOSED today, and then I get a message saying that the appointment is CANCELLED!How can the receptionist make an appointment for a day when the building was CLOSED?Honestly, Ive never been a fan of this company and I avoid Nextcare clinics like a plague, because they always look dirty, the floor is disgusting, and I feel like Im going to get sick just walking in. However, they are close to home and the holidays were approaching, so I thought Id suck it up. This is a reminder to just drive the extra miles to go somewhere better. The 3 Stars are only because once seen during my FIRST VISIT the NP was very kind and helpful, as well as the MA.
Although scheduling an appointment is preferred, the first available was about 7hrs wait. We were told the challenges with walk-ins but that they would do their best. We were checked-in and called back in less than 30mins. The staff is extremely kind and knowledgeable. I have been to this location before and have always had a positive experience. When you are sick and its tough getting out of bed, its a big relief to get reliable answers quickly!
Signing up for an appointment was easy. Times to be seen by someone, in our case a Nurse Practitioner, were very reasonable. We were seen within 45 minutesOffice staff is very friendly and helpful.Paperwork can be done in the office, or as we did, completed on line. Were happy to know their office is close by.
Poor service today. My husband went in for a recheck after his workmans comp visit and the receptionists misplaced his paperwork, filed it under personal instead of workmans comp, and made us wait over an hour to be seen Despite him having an appointment. Due to them putting his information wrong in their system he had difficulties getting his medication from the pharmacy as well. The actual physician was good. But the receptionists made for a unpleasant experience.Edit to update, Nov 18th. Husband had to go back for the mandatory recheck a week later and his scheduled time to be seen was 10 AM and he didnt get seen until almost 11:30! That it absolutely unacceptable and very unprofessional. 3 weeks straight of mistakes and extravagant waiting times of ocer an hour each week. What is the point of making an appointment if the staff completely disregard it and waste our time. Once his workmans comp visits are done we are never returning here and warning all our friends and family about this place.Final edit 1/8/25 my husband had his final check up for his workmans comp.. they lost his appointment in their system supposedly and he waited for Over 2.5 hours today... this is now multiple times they claim to have errors when its clearly a staffing issue. The disrespect and unprecedented lack of professionalism is abhorrent here. Id rather drive 3 times the distance into tucson than ever step foot here again. Worst customer service Ive ever seen in a medical business in my life.
I made an 8 am first appt but the gal didnt even arrive until after 8 to unlock the door. I waited 25 min before I saw a nurse who was rude and dismissive. She tried to get a swab test for strep but instead of having me at her level she was using a very fast downward motion, gagging me . We finally moved to another room and i sat on the table where she was able to get a better angle and she did it slowly instead of a rapid fire test!! The doctor came in and was very nice which was a relief. Why let people schedule on line when the staff doesnt arrive early enough.....not good business.
Scheduled an appt to get meds for my ongoing cough. Super easy to make an appt on their site & complete all the forms. Short wait & great care at each step. Friendly & efficient! I will be back next time I need care!
If I could give this facility -20 points I definitely would! Do not get sick or hurt where you would need an X-ray because they never have a technician to operate the machine!! We have been there many times, and they NEVER have a technician!!! Save your time and go straight to the ER. You may wait, but you will receive the right treatment instead of sitting at Nextcare for 2 hours to be told... There is nothing we can do. Go and see someone on Monday. Thank goodness it is Urgent Care right...you can urgently get care at the ER NOT Nextcare Urgent Care.
The nurse who saw my father-in-law was fantastic and had a great bedside manner. She was very professional and personable. However, I can’t say that much for the office staff at the front desk. The disrespect I received when I brought my father-in-law in was abhorable. The younger girl who sat to the right had an attitude because I didn’t have a chance to finish the link she gave me for the new patient forms.I was extremely busy and so I asked her if she wouldn’t mind giving me the forms to fill out there and then. She was clearly upset with an attitude and smarted off and said “no, those forms need to be filled out through your phone.”I tried to do it with my phone and my phone automatically filled in my information since it was my phone and not my father-in-law‘s. My father-in-law doesn’t have a smart phone. He’s 87 years old!I told her this, then I asked her once again if she would give me the forms to fill out as I had asked in the beginning and lo and behold, the blank forms were right there all along. Again, and in a very nasty tone of voice, she repeated that this should have been done prior on my cell phone prior to coming in.I told her that I literally couldn’t as I run a company and have my 87 year old father-in-law to take care of. I also explained to her that I didn’t need her attitude and that she really should’ve given me the paperwork all along instead of making it a big deal. Why so mean? Why should I be made to feel that I owe an explanation to office staff who treat people this way?She was so angry I called her out that she handed me the clipboard fast and furious and knocked over the large basket of pens that were there on the desk! She left the pens all over the counter the whole time we were there. Yikes!“Ms Nazi” with an attitude at the computer clearly should be written up. It would do us all a favor.
Everyone was very caring and attentive. I was able to get an appointment and was in and out in less than 45 minutes including getting strep test results and multiple consultations.
I visited the Silverbell location in Tucson this morning after signing in through the app and reserving an appointment. Ara at the reception desk was so sweet and friendly. Then Jen checked me in and thoroughly went thru my information and vitals. She put me in a room but came back shortly to move me because she was concerned that particular room was too cold (so kind). Then within a few minutes Jess (my provider) came in. She figured out right away what was wrong and sent in a prescription for me. These 3 women made it a great experience for me…which is saying a lot about an urgent care facility.
They should really take off X-rays as services provided and then take your money before they tell you, “We know our website says that, but we don’t have a tech, sorry.” I was there for an hour and fifteen minutes for a Referal to the ER and still in pain from clear trauma to my to my right hand. It was the big waist of time and money. Definitely would not recommend and will not return.
We had to take my daughter in for an ear infection. We made an appt for 6:30. Arrived at 6:25 with the paperwork already filled out online. We didn’t get taken back until after 7. There was only one other person in the waiting room and she was taken back shortly after we got there. After being taken to an exam room we waited another 20-25 minutes. The PA came in and saw us for maybe 3 minutes total. Not sure what the hour waiting was for. If my appt is at 6:30 i would assume I’d be take back within a few minutes. This is not our first experience at this location. It seems to be the norm to have to wait at least 30 minutes after your appt to be seen. I felt bad for my daughter since she was feeling so bad and having to sit in those uncomfortable waiting room chairs.
The prescription ordered was sent to Costco in Texas. I live in Arizona. When calling Next are no one would answer the phone. Tried several options. I ended up waiting for two hours in Costco trying to get my prescription transferred and filled. Costco was awesome. Next are not so much
The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The actual appointment was very rushed and they did not take much time to discuss symptoms and did not have time to answer my questions. It was a really disappointing appointment and I did not feel heard or like any time was taken to understand.
Absolutely HORRIBLE. I booked an appointment for my 2 girls to be seen at 3:40pm and 4pm today and we received confirmation texts that the appts were booked. Then we arrive and the receptionist says they DONT have appointments and that she can put them in as walk-ins with 6 other people in front of them!!!! I have proof of the appts and she says theres nothing she can do! So there are adults being seen before my little girls who are sick!
Apparently the front desk/receptionist is not able to check someone in as a walk in. I was told I HAVE to go on my phone and either download the next care app, or create an account online through the website… just to be seen? There was not one other patient in the office. Why even have a receptionist if they can’t help? If everything is online?I went to Northwest Urgent Care instead, and received amazing service, and they were very glad to check me in.
Great ⚕️ staffing and service. However, I checked in online per their website and even though I got a confirmation the I had to check in again. I did not have to wait long at all.
Dr Smith was a pleasure . She was very nice , professional & answered all of my questions . Thank you NextCare. Happy Holidays ! She has a friendly sense of humor that eases those who dont enjoy doctor’s offices / visits.
Staff didn’t follow up on a positive strep test in our son. We are incredibly lucky he didn’t get seriously sick as another clinician in a different city identified the mistake 6 weeks later.
The receptionist was very helpful with the paper work. And the nurse was very friendly and the doctor was very thorough. I highly recommend this place . I will definitely be going back if need be.
I made an appointment online and was seen and out the door within 30 minutes. The staff is so kind and caring. They made my family feel very comfortable. They have been awesome every time we have come to this urgent care. We will definitely be returning when we need quality healthcare!!
Attendance clerk was very helpful and knowledgeable. She helped with understanding our situation and keeping very calm. Very thankful and grateful for being sympathetic in these Urgent Care situations!
Wait time at this place is crazy! Had a sports physical appt at 3:00 p.m. for my son. Arrived on time, waited 40 minutes beyond appt time for them to call him back for vitals, then they sent him back to the waiting room and we waited another 40 minutes for a room to finish his physical. Completely crazy that this place is the “preferred” location for sports physicals. Ended up being a 2 hr ordeal for a 10 minute physical.
Was able to get an appt same day and wait time was reasonable but Doctor was horrible, I’m pregnant and was having issues with my arms and referred me to ER. I didn’t understand why I needed to go to the ER and while I was waiting for the note my primary doctor called me back and stated I didn’t need to go to ER. So I asked the doctor if she could please just write me a doctors note and my primary care got back to me. She refused and was very rude, which forced me to go to ER since I needed a doctors note for missing work. The ER did nothing and was even surprised they they referred me. Also costing me over 300 dollars in hospital fee. Would never recommend this urgent care or doctor. Horrible.
NextCare Urgent Care was great! I was able to get an appointment right away and my daughter was taken care of quickly. The staff was very friendly and the doctor was great. This has been our go to office when our regular doctors can’t see us. Great urgent care!!
I have not had any negative interactions with any staff. The doctors that have helped me in the past never felt dismissive and always ask follow up questions when I tell them my symptoms. The nurses and desk staff have always asked me if I need help with stuff or things like if I wanted a wheelchair.
Do not go here if I told my experience u wouldnt but it was so bad I dont even want to get into it. I wasted my time and for sure wasted theres as it was obvious I seemed such an inconvenience. Had the most unprofessional experience in my life I left crying I was so mad disappointed and upset. 355 dollars later left with nothing to help. And would like my money back. You should work on your bed side manors and professionalism and how u treat your patients.
The entire visit was less than an hour, very kind workers and very efficient. They also have an app so you can check in before you go and display wait times and how many patients are ahead of you.
Stood at the desk for about 5 mins before anyone even came to the front desk. Appointment was at 540pm and didnt leave until 730pm. The Dr looked at my daughter and asked what ear had the ear infection. We were there for a sports physical and allergic reaction. The nurses that did the vitals was the best person in the office. Other seemed like they didnt want to be there and the Dr was short with us and didnt even explain the medication he gave to my daughter.
This place is horrible. I get they have to deal with a lot of different kinds of people everyday but my experience from beginning to end was terrible. The lady at the front desk had rbf the entire time. I fell and hurt my foot and could hardly walk, was in extreme pain but she offered no assistance as far as a wheelchair or anything to push me back into a room. I felt like the doctor was very dismissive and told me they don’t do X-rays there so sent me to an another urgent care. She said she would call me back that same day with the results from my X-rays and it’s now Saturday. I went in on Tuesday and still haven’t received a call back! I ended going to an orthopaedic doctor on Thursday in terrible pain where I was placed in a cast for my Injury. Shame on you!! I also had to pay 2 different co pays. Won’t be going back.
Waited about 30 mins past scheduled appointment time, it was the day after Christmas so no real complaints! Once we got called everything was fast and our needs were met!
I went to NextCare with a URI which I’ve had before (They are not fun!). The PA suggested a simple sinus rinse for which, frankly, I was skeptical having ‘hoed the row’ before. But (big ‘But’!), here just 24 hrs out, I am cured ! ! THANK YOU NEXTCARE ! !
Setting appointment online was easy! Reception was super nice! Jenny, NA, very caring and quick diagnosis. Thank you very much!!
$335 to have my son seen for an ingrown toenail to be told he needs to see a podiatrist or some other professional to have it cleaned out....why not tell me upfront that you dont clean out ingrown toenails? Oh wait, then you wouldnt be able to charge me $335 for a 2 minute conversation! Absolutely ridiculous! My advice is to ask them what they do for your issue before paying them to be seen for the issue. I let them know the issue beforehand, but didnt ask if they provide a service for it. My bad for assuming that they had the moral aptitude to let me know pre-payment that I would be paying an absurd fee for basically nothing.*UpdateI see your response to my review and for the public you make it sound like I am saying somthing not true? You have my contact information, why not reach out to me? (That would be the best way to handle an upset customer if you truly cared.) The PA said that you do not clean out ingrown toenails infected or not. And, this was after I informed the check-in person what I was there for. And of course, after my money was taken.
Friendly staff and easy Check in process. They take time to listen to your issues and not just rush you in and out.
Staff was very friendly, considerate, professional. The meds the Dr prescribed relieved my pain. Very grateful.
The team that is working, there are absolutely phenomenal. I will go nowhere else. They are patient. They listen. They understand the trauma and pain that you’re going through and they are there to help. God bless everyone of you.
I was sent there for extreme back pain and muscle spasms. I made my appointment online which helped a lot and was seen fairly quickly after my appointed time. A lady that greeted me was very friendly and Sherry and the nurse practitioner was fabulous. She listened to me and recommended appropriate treatment. I am extremely impressed with my visit.
Just moved to Arizona and was pleasantly surprised at how easy this location made my visit, from scheduling to check in to staff friendliness to the care I received. I havent found a doctor yet so Im so glad to get such great care at this location.
Quick easy last min appointment. Quick in and out. Great nurse practitioner! Extremely friendly and knowledgeable!
Staff are all very nice but it is extremely slow. I made an appointment, arrived on time for my appointment and have been here for over an hour now waiting for the doctor. I’m still in this room, have not been seen yet and the system is sending me this survey.
Croups no fun for kids. Online appointment show time, to treated and out the door in about 1.5hrs. Doctor was thorough and explained/offered options.
My son came in with a piece of a splinter stuck in his hand and the ladies that helped us were amazing and quick! Awesome place and quick to take us back to help us! Thanks ladies you were awesome!
The NP I saw was very nice and knowledgeable, the admin staff and nurse/tech was not very friendly and seemed annoyed to be there. We walked in and nobody was at the desk and there were no other patients in the lobby, we had to call the office from inside the building to get someone to come up front. I will say I was there at 12 noon so it was lunch time but a simple note or something would’ve helped. They also gave me another patients drug test results when they handed me my paperwork.
Great experience. All the staff were super friendly even considering how busy they were.
Able to book an appointment right away, and Solv told me to get there 15 minutes early, so I did. Didn’t get a confirmation text that I was checked in until after I sat for 23 minutes and then it was as a walk-in but I had proof of an appointment. Finally taken back for intake and they didn’t have access to ANY of the forms I had filled out online when making the appointment. After being taken to a room, I waited for another 45 minutes without anyone checking in on me. Nurse practitioner came in, asked similar questions to intake and stated if I wanted imaging done she would have to send me to a different location, determined that I needed NSAIDs for pain (which was already determined by the virtual nurse practitioner I saw earlier in the morning), approximately a 5 minute conversation, sent in the intake person to give me a shot of NSAID pain killers and had to wait for 15 minutes to check for a reaction (no issues with that!). Then sent to the lobby again to wait to be discharged- another 10 minutes of unnecessary waiting. There are either not enough staff at the location for the amount of appointments that they are scheduling for or the staff needs to be quicker in moving through patients (not rude, just quick).
My son came in for an ear infection, and was seen by the FNP Shawnna Jenkins. She said she was going to prescribe him a 10 day antibiotic, Cefdinir (he has had this before).I went to the pharmacy to pick up the antibiotic only to realize once I got home that I had been given an antibiotic that was only enough for 3 days with a higher dosage then my son has been given in the past. I called the pharmacy to make sure that they filled the correct prescription given by the doctor, to which they said they did but that the dosage is high, and not typically given to children of my sons age (he isn’t even one year old yet), and advised me to call the doctor again to make sure that’s what she wanted for him.So I then called my next care location and was able to get ahold of the FNP’s MA (who was very sweet, and friendly) and she told me she’d talk to the FNP and call me back. She called me back to let me know that it was a mistake, and my son needed Cefdinir at a lesser dosage, that would last for 10 days. The MA said the FNP told her to tell me to stop using the antibiotic I had immediately and hold off for two days to give him the new prescription they’d send in for with the correct dosage since I had just given him a dosage higher than he should have for his age, BECAUSE THAT WAS WHAT WAS PRESCRIBED.I understand this FNP is a human and people make mistakes. My issue is that I never was given even a simple apology. Just “discard of it, we’ll send in for the right one, here’s the side effects that could happen. Expect possible diarrhea, etc. that is extremely hard on a 11 month old and not ideal. I wouldn’t be leaving this review at all if she would have just talked to me personally instead of having her MA let me know this, AND I was given an apology. Mistakes happen but how you handle it when you know you made a big mistake is what sets the tone for feeling taken care of.Also now because the same prescription was sent in twice in one day, my insurance does not want to pay for the same thing twice, since they see it as I already got it that day once.So now it’s the weekend, and my son needs the medication. My pharmacy has now went above and beyond trying to help override the insurance not wanting to cover the cost for the antibiotic again. I’m frustrated this has happen and all the phone calls and customer service automated machines I’ve had to go through to try and get my son his medicine, that he should already be on day two of, instead of dealing with all this because of a mistake on the FNPs part.Again I want to reiterate I know people make mistakes, it happens, but an apology would’ve made the difference, and probably making sure this was all taken care of and I got the medicine instead of leaving me to deal with all this because of their mistake would have been ideal.
They were so nice and caring with my toddler and made her experience not as scary. They were making sure she was okay and even tried to cheer her up. It was a great experience.
I found NextCare online while looking for a nearby urgent care. The sign up and scheduling processes were quick and straightforward. I was able to schedule an appointment to see medical staff within 30 minutes. The online sign in also showed me how many people are currently waiting to be seen which was nice. I arrived before my appointment time. On my arrival there were 3 people in the reception area. After finishing up the sign in process with the receptionist I waited another 15 minutes prior to being seen by medical staff. The remainder of my visit went smoothly. Once inside the exam room, I was seen by a Nurse Practitioner who listened attentively, and asked probative questions, as I described my medical condition. The NPs bedside manner was pleasant. The NP gave me a thorough exam, provided me a diagnosis and treatment plan. I paid my copay on the way out and was done with my visit in under one hour. From my observations, it appeared that the facility has minimal staffing. Given the time of day, and the number of people in the reception area, I could have received similar service from my primary care physician. I will likely use this NextCare office again because of the convenient location and the level of care that I received.
Laura was great. She listened to my concerns and had me taken care of very quickly.
They only care if you have COVID. Once I tested positive, they seemed scared of me. The only thing they did was test me, listen to my lungs and prescribe Paxlovid. It made me so sick. I was down for two weeks.
Dont come here if you can avoid it. The service is terrible, I had to return to this location 3 times over mistakes they made with my preemployment drug screening and I had to wait for half an hour or more every time.
I felt we had very quick and thorough service. Both my husband and I are feeling better this morning
This urgent care is the best! I have been here several times over the years and never had a bad experience. This visit was the first time I was a walk-in, close to closing, and I was still very well taken care of. I saw a PA named Rhonda Sawyer who was more than competent and very kind. She also made sure my prescriptions were sent in quickly so I could get them filled before my pharmacy closed. Thank you to all the staff that helped me.
Nice office. Very clean. Chairs were especially clean.Check in was via a text link sent to my phone. Easy for me to use. I did have to take photos of the insurance card when prompted, and I had to enter all the information manually. Im slow at this kind of stuff but it was pretty quickly done. After I submitted the check-in file, I was called within five minutes. The medical check-in was quick and the triage nurse was knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor. The Dr was in the room within 5 minutes utes and was polite, nice, and kind. The whole thing was over in 10 minutes, but she asked questions and did a physical check. I was happy with her diagnosis.I was checked out by the front staff in a matter of minutes. The whole visit was great, except I was sick.
My daughter had indulged herself in a few too many chocolates and the wonderful staff was very fast and efficient to get her what she needed. The wait was minuscule and each of the staff brought a smile with them that they carried throughout our interaction. I would recommend this urgent care to anyone in need of fast friendly knowledgable service.
Front desk lady could use some customer service training. The doctor was great and friendly. Office was freezing cold. Didn’t think I’d have to bring a jacket. lol!
Both app and website were down but I was able to make appt by phone and was seen that day. Provider was professional and addressed concerns. Clinics location and hours are very convenient.
Dont bother making an appointment because it apparently doesnt matter. Still waiting an hour and a half after appointment time to be seen for a simple sports physical. Thought making an appointment would help expedite but apparently not.
Scheduled an appointment for 12pm and didnt get seen till 1pm. Only one Dr on site. The receptionist is never in the front always taling with the nurses just laughing when theres a room full of patients. Why schedule ahead to sit there an hour. If i could give 0 stars I would. This is not the 1st time this happens
Very happy with treatment personnel and treatment. We were surprised at our arrival to find that though the sign on the window said “walk ins welcome” , we needed an appointment. Fortunately one was available in 10 minutes.Paperwork was much easier with the ability to photograph insurance and Id documents rather than manually input the info.
The provider was both knowledgable and personable. There was minimal wait time. My son’s prescriptions were ready for pick up at CVS as soon as we arrived. Very positive healthcare experience!
I really like the staff at this urgent care they are good quick and really take the time to listen to whats going on with you.
Slow as heck. Waited over an hour to see an ear. Was told appointment time is just a check in time not my actual appointment time lol. What is this?
Clean facility, pleasant, helpful staff. After test, I was given referral to ER. where I was able to have tests done that were not available at the urgent care facility.
I made an appointment online and I was able to get in with a short wait. I am grateful for the doctor and nurse who listened patiently and helped diagnose my back pain. Within a day, I was feeling better.
Facility was clean. The staff was very nice, but I was lied to. On the website when I ordered my lab work, it said one to two business days for results. When I Went in for my appointment they said no it’s more like 324 days for results. I am now on day, six and still no results. I really truly hate false advertising and lying. Either their phone system is messed up or they are not answering phone calls. I have called many times trying to get a hold of the clinic to find out about my results. I had to call another one of their clinics leave them my phone number and then the Silverbell clinic finally called me back. They said the lab results were there, but waiting for the provider to sign off on them.
Very clean, Very respectful and very fast I have been here several times and have always been happy with my care
I had tha BEST urgent care experience to date! Not only did they address my moms needs quickly I observed the staff handle a critical patient brought in from what I observed to be a stroke. They swiftly, professionally and privately called the patient back to a private area with the entire family and had an ambulance arrive within a few minutes all while assisting me with check-in and paperwork. The doctor was able to give my mom the RX she needed for a UTI she has had for over a week and from the time I picked up my mom from her assisted living and returned her with her RX filled it took less than 3 hours out of my day. I was on 2 days of insomnia and was dreading this urgent care trip and was oddly blessed by the time I left. The staff was kind, attentative, competent and very professional.
I’m extremely disappointed in the organization and work ethic provided at this location. I came in last night as I thought I had fractured my arm, they told me to come in the next day when technician was in the office, I was fine with that because that’s understandable. I set up an appointment for the next day. My paperwork was filled out ahead of time to make it more efficient. They told me “you have 5 people ahead of you so we don’t know when we’ll be able to see you”. I waited an hour for an update but I had to go into work. When I left my treatment room, all of the assistants were just sitting at the station, and they gave me an annoyed look when I expressed my apologies and told them I have to leave for work. I still don’t know if I have a fracture or not.
2:40 appt for a physical that needed 10min of the Drs time. 2hours total. Never again.
The staff were very nice and thorough. Great way to make the appointment, check in on line and we didnt have to wait to go back. That works when youre not feeling well
This is a wonderful urgent care. The facility is always clean and comfortable, the staff are friendly and kind, and the providers are caring and highly competent.
Simple wound requiring seven stitches. Zero complications. Refused to treat. Sent me to ER down the road.
I expected to be a walk in (as walk in is plastered all over the windows and doors from the outside) they are no longer accepting walk ins. The receptionist told me I would have to wait for an appointment time so I did. As soon as I got checked in the receptionist looked me in the eyes told me she needed to do something and if I can tell anyone who walks in that it will be a minute before she comes back. Super unprofessional to ask a patient to do your job. When the receptionist returned she started talking on the phone with her friend talking about when they are going to see each other and other personal things. When she returned she was asking patients in the waiting room about insurance and copays, which wouldn’t annoy me usually, it was the fact that she was talking across the room that made it feel so unprofessional. My appointment time came and went their excuse was because they were taking care of another patient who needed to be sent to the emergency room. This also made me uncomfortable because there was no need to tell the entire waiting room what was happening to another patient. When I got called back they took forever to get to me even though I was the second to be called back. I felt that the doctor was very dismissive and didn’t want to take the time to truly address my problems. I had to give a urine sample and the bathroom looked very dirty. Medical tape was all over the walls turning gray from people touching it so much. The sink had yellow rings and it smelled like urine in the bathroom.
Everyone was nice and professional. It was quick for a walk in. Great team and staff
We were walk-in and it was a very short wait and everybody was very professional and attentive. I had called to get some information about the visit and they called me right back with the information. Thank you!
I went in having bad abdominal pain, and the lady who cared for me was named Rhonda. I was telling her what was wrong and she was extremely rude and very unprofessional. She acted like I was dumb when I was trying to explain to her what was wrong. She didnt seem to care I was in pain. She gave me the option to give me a shot for the pain and I was unsure and she said well you think about... then told me she had another patient to get to and never returned. Literally the worst doctor ever! I feel bad for any person in her care! She shows no sympathy and is in such a rush.
I was diagnosed correctly within several minutes of the visit. I was super lucky to have the physician and nurse. This was my second visit to an urgent care (the other being MHC where I was improperly treated and diagnosed). The staff was efficient, empathetic and supportive.
Ive always received prompt and compassionate healthcare at this facility! The staff are highly attuned to patients needs! Its so nice to have a top-notch, patient centered care!
Friendly and helpful staff! This is our go-to spot when we need to receive help quickly for minor health concerns.
Everyone was very kind. And fast. I had my problem taken care of in a very nice way. I appreciate it.
Walked in for a sport physical at 1130 they told me they could see me at 145pm and to come back. Went back as sat there for almost an hour waiting to be called back. I dont even know the point for me to come back for an appointment when your going to make me sit there anyway... Doesnt it say walk ins welcome?? Not happy will go elsewhere.
Everyone was nice amd professional. The DR was quick and thorough. Kids sports physical was great priced.
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Took my grandson there and was in and out in a very timely manner.
Front desk always very stand offish; doctors rush through symptoms and prematurely diagnose or refer to the ER and still charge for office visits.
I used the location on Silverbell in Marana. The check in was very easy and done using your own phone. They got me back swiftly the nurse who does your vitals was super sweet and friendly. The Dr came in and confirmed what I was being seen for ...talked to me about it and I was out the door 5 min later! Easy. I love that this is here when I cant make it to my Primary all the way across town. Excellent service.
Visiting the kids from out of town and caught a cold on the flight down which got worse so I made a visit here. Had about a 30 minute wait, which was fine. Very helpful from desk staff at check in. Nurse did a good job getting me set up and Dr. Laura was absolutely fantastic. Exam room was ver clean. Would highly recommend.
As always, your team is wonderful.Everyone is so polite and helpful and kind and knowledgeable. We appreciate each and all of you so very much. I always feel good and safe about bringing my kids here. Thank you for the excellent care.My sons neck already looks better from how it looked earlier. Thank you, Erika
Most horrible place on earth!!! My 7 Yr. Old Grandson was diagnosed with an ear infection. I requested the prescription to be sent to Fry’s in same shopping center as we had taken an Uber from our Hotel. We walked to Fry’s in 110 degree weather to find they didn’t send it, we walked back they informed us it was sent to Walgreens across the street, we went there to find it was sent to Walgreens across town, we went back to clinic, they again apologized and promised they would now send, I asked for proof they had done it correctly this time and they refused. We went back to Walgreens and they again had not sent it. By now we are sun burnt and exhausted from walking back and forth, I realized they were not going to ever send it. We had to find another way to get his prescription. I did not want to even give them one star on this post but they force you too
For starters this is the first time I’ve ever felt like leaving a review. When me and my girlfriend were looking for an urgent care to go to, we chose this place based on proximity despite numerous bad reviews. If you are in my boat and deciding where to go, do what I didn’t and listen to the reviews. The convenience was not worth it.
Did not like filling out form on I- phone. Constantly have to put in 6 digit code. Very annoying to go back and forth from form and text. Code doesnt always work had to put it in three times.
I had a great experience at Nextcare Urgent care in Marana. I made an appointment and the nurse practitioner that diagnosed my problem, was very professional and diagnosed my condition quickly and she sent in my prescription quickly to my pharmacy and give me instructions on everything that we talked about in the office and information on my condition. I would recommend this urgent care to others.
A week with horrible cough and fatigue. Decided to be seen before the weekend and glad I did. Made appt in the app, did all forms and insurance info on the app too. Walked in, waited maybe 5 or 10 minutes and was on my way home within 45 minutes. Antibiotics and inhaler scripts waiting at my pharmacy. Very professional and kind staff. Spacious and clean office. Glad I went instead of waiting hours to be squeezed into my PCPs office.
Provider Rhonda was wonderful, but the most standout employee was front office, and I feel like a jerk because I forgot her name, but it definitely started with an L…. She was sweet, funny, and personable, in spite of the fact that we were there right up until closing time (our wait was next to none, our timing is just poor lol). Working in healthcare is hard, on a good day, but doing it while being genuinely friendly and sweet is next level. After having our closest urgent care closed, and banner refusing because they were too busy to see patients …. 10/10 recommend.
We were a walk in and they were able to get us in and out quickly. The doctor was thorough and to the point.
Got in and out quickly and efficiently, but the place had a thrown together feel. Almost as if they built it up like a pop up restaurant. Lots of sick people coughing with no masks. Made me feel like I might catch something else. 🥵🦠💉
It’s been awesome experienced to visit my poison ivy plant reaction. On the desk the clerk and nurse and physician are extremely bright kind with well knowledge of their job.I was grateful to visited.Sincerely, Hannah McManus2024.04. 03.
I needed to be seen as a walk-in and was very light headed and drowsy, but was told the only way to be seen was to go through this online check - in then wait over an hour to be seen for total of 15 minutes of the Dr time, they did run few tests but was very deal with it type attitude when the tests were negative. I will not go back to Next care again, they use to be more caring and personal, sad that changed.
Sick? In pain? Hope you dont mind a process just to get in line because to be seen at Nextcare you have to scan their QR code, download their app, log in/ sign up then maybe get in line I didnt get past the sign up part so I dont know how many more steps but I am guessing after all that I would have had to go back up front for ID, insurance and copay. The receptionist didnt even ask why I was coming in before telling me the process to get in line and only found out I needed XRAYS because I started calling other urgent cares asking if they had xrays and she overheard and told me they dont have an xray technician at that time.
Went in for what Im pretty sure is an ear infection. Thirty minutes and a $35 copayment to have the PA tell me she couldnt figure out whats going on with my ear, and I need to see my PCP and maybe an ENT specialist. She even went so far as to blame her equipment...she said, Your primary-care provider will have better equipment, we dont have the best equipment here. That told me I was dealing with an incompetent. I will never be back to this, or any other, NextCare facility.
Day 1: 😇🤝🏾Clean environment, 👌🏾great customer service.😘 Very friendly staff. 😅I would wanna go visit again😁🏃🏾♀️🥳😘Beautiful Lady at the front desk was very helpful, The Doctor was comforting especially since I dislike shots😅😇🤝🏾Highly recommend👌🏾😇Day 2: yaay, I visisted again, I didnt find Lucinda🥺, but there was another kind lady at the front who had a welcoming personality too.😁I had the same doctor, Jeniffer🫡. I had some blood drawn out of me,but it wasnt as bad, because she made it look like a piece of cake. 😅🙏🏾Thanks for your kindness, keep smiling.😇
Staff was excellent, wait was reasonable and PA Rick had great people skills as well as being a Terrific listener!
I went in with my arm red and swollen, expecting it to be cellulitis. The Dr came in took one look said it was staph arthritis and I needed to have it drained. I asked about cellulitis and she discarded it and said I had to go to the ER to be see. I explained I went to urgent care because I couldnt afford the ER. She refused to do anything and gave me a referral to the ER. Needless to sat, the ER confirmed it was cellulitis, gave me a script for antibiotics. Said there was no reason urgent care couldnt have take care of it. Very disappointed in doctor and over assessing the situation.
My wife was turned away becuase they were closed and werent open yet. We sat in the lobby and were turned away. I asked if they knew where I could go and they said no. Antother worker came in trying to get us to leave. I told her i just needed to Google the nearest medical facility and we would leave right away.
Customer service at the front desk was amazing!!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I took my niece here because she was so sick she had a fever wasn’t eating and definitely not acting like herself I let the DR Rhonda S know that her symptoms were not getting better they seemed to be getting worse she finally prescribed an antibiotic but said not to take it unless her symptoms did not get better. She told me she was fine and could return to school the next day. We went home and she started having the worst cough fits ever she wouldn’t eat and all she wanted to do was sleep. The next day I took her to northwest urgent care on orange grove and river (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) and found out that she had a sinus infection and needed to start taking an antibiotic right away on top of that the DR Leonard A gave her a cough suppressant. Will not be returning and definitely would not recommend that anyone gets seen here!
I strongly recommend this location. Each time I have been here, whether the care be for my child, husband, or myself, the staff has always been wonderful. They’re very polite, kind, informative, and helpful. Today, the nurse was by herself and remained cheerful and focused despite what looked like a busy day.I had gone to a walk-in clinic earlier and felt brushed off by the staff. I felt welcomed and cared for here, I greatly appreciate your services!
Horrifically long wait times, unhelpful staff, dirty environment. Bad experience overall.
Unable to create a NextCare account so when and if I have to return, all my information, medical prescriptions, Allergies is there. It takes forever to complete all the paperwork using the scan.
I waited no more than 10 minutes. I was checked in seen by Doctor and out the door in less than 40 min.Staff was helpful and friendly
I am very very disappointed I was refused care this morning for nausea and vomiting. The girls at the front desk were very nice however, whoever the provider was refused to see me because I had been vomiting for over 36 hours and was forcing me to go to the emergency room instead. There is absolutely no reason she could not have seen me and given me a shot for nausea. They sent me to an emergency room to sit there for God knows how many hours. Or maybe I was refused at this location because I told him I had no health insurance as it will kick in in 15 days. Either which way, they did not do me any favors this morning. I am a nurse and would never ever ever in my wildest imagination refuse somebody care who was actively sick! And you say you provide healthcare, I beg the differ. And by the way I had been on hold for over seven minutes this morning waiting to speak to a receptionist to see if they could even help me Before I made the trip down there and they never even answered the damn phone
Whether I bring my children or this visit was for myself, the entire staff is so great here. They are always so fast, and just great help and best of all they always have such a positive attitude! Definitely appreciated very much!
The doctor was great!!! Very informative and listened. Very personable.
Other than a little confusion with appointment times, our visit was easy, and the staff members are always amazing
My 93 yr old father was taken here by my daughter for chest pain after a fall. Tho she made an Appt for this - she was not told till: after theyd been in the place, checked in, and seen - there was no X-ray machine available so theyd have to go elsewhere. Were sent to an even slower longer wait to find out anything. An appt made for 8am turned into a 2 place appt for 3 1/2 hours..for a chest X-ray.WOW - not sure why this one is even considered fully functional or why ANY are called Urgent Care. It really is a joke in the healthcare industry! Very sad!
I came here a couple of times before, when the clinic was under a different name, “FastMed,” and I never had any complaints. The facility is clean. However, the receptionist at the front had a very poor attitude. There was a lot of eye rolling and face palming on his end, along with a very irritated tone. The nurse who took our vitals, was very kind. She was definitely the highlight of our visit. The doctor had a very sarcastic and irritated tone, which changed (slightly) for the better towards the end of our visit. However, she said she’d order us lab work and never did. And when we got our paperwork summarizing our visit, she gave advice on symptoms that we did not have. The entire visit and 2 hr wait was for nothing. We left without a solution and without any kind of knowledge on what to do next. I will try my very best to avoid this clinic in the future.
The nurse practitioner i saw was so patient with me and my fear of needles, and gave me clear instructions on how to treat the issue i was having and what signs and symptoms to look out for going forward. every experience i have here is a pleasant one. thank you!
Wow. The medical professional Rhonda Sawyer I saw was cold, rude, and rushed. Never saw a smile on her face for even a fraction of a second. She Neve asked me my symptoms and she cut me off 3 times when I tried to tell her my symptoms. She spent 2 minutes or less with me. Told me I didnt have COVID, checked my throat, ears, and lungs so Ill give her that, but she never let me tell her my symptoms, she only knew about a cough. She is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Told me to take Zinc and Vitamin C. I asked about a cough suppressant while she was literally rushing out the door, telling her I was afraid my heart failure would get worse because I cant sleep. She said Im taking too many medications as it is (I have multiple medical issues) and she cant add another prescription to it. I get that my medical issues like heart failure make it so that I cant be treated as the average patient, she suggested an OTC cough syrup. She spoke so quickly I had to ask her to repeat what I could take OTC. She was irritated and kept repeating Ill write it down in your discharge papers. That is not good enough. What if I had questions about what she suggests to take? I did after reading my discharge papers cuz she wrote things she didnt talk about in the 2 minute visit. What if I had questions about how to take care of myself when it comes to my heart failure and how to take care of myself now that Im sick? I still have no idea if Im supposed to increase my fluid intake or stay with my liquid limitation. I DID HAVE QUESTIONS! However she never allowed me to ask any of those questions. She tried to leave the room more times than minutes she spent with me. She made me feel as though I was an addict when I asked about a cough suppressant. It was her wording and tone. I take a lot of medications but most of them are heart medications and vitamins. 2 are for my migraines of which neither is a narcotic. And I got heart failure from a VIRUS like I have today, not from drugs. I asked her about a cough suppressant, I didnt argue with her when she said no use an OTC.I know she didnt read my file from the nurse who took down information because she suggested I take Sudafed in the instructions. I AM ALLERGIC TO SUDAFED. Is she trying to kill me? Reason for visit it lists cough. Thats it, cough no other symptoms. Nothing about my many other symptoms. She never told me what I had she said Youre text is negative (for COVID). You have what everybody else has thats going around. Cool, and what would that be? A cold? A virus? An infection? I had to read it on the discharge papers and google what her diagnosis meant.Everything is discharge is worded If you have high blood pressure, If you have... Cool, again, if you would have read my file or even asked me about my medical conditions youd know if I have high blood pressure or not. And her suggestions were eating cold things, which is a good idea, but she lists things like ice cream and popsicles. Really? Im diabetic and cant eat that stuff (sugar free sweets are just as bad for me because the artificial sweeteners give me a horrible migraine) She would have known Im diabetic, if she would have asked me one question. None of her instructions were for me specifically it was all ifs and generic nothing specific to me or me being sick with my particular medical conditions.Every time she tried to get out the door in the entire 2 minutes she spent with me wasnt due to being busy she was uninterested in me and irritated I had questions. I still have questions I never got to ask. No question I had before I came in got answered except that I dont have COVID. The only reason being she wouldnt allow me to ask questions. I was clearly flustered and irritated, she didnt care I had questions.I never got the opportunity to ask her about vials for breathing treatments for my asthma.Disgusting.
The staff and the doctor were amazing, after spending 3 1/2 hours at Northwest hospital and them not doing anything, the doctor at Next care took really good care of and I am feeling great!!
The assistant and the PA were helpful and considerate. Receptionist were rude.
The time I was physically there was great. However, I had to go back the next day to pick up a referral paper and they were closed even though their doors said they should be open. Now I will have to return a third time due to this issue.
Front staff was nice but provided spend less than 2 minutes with me. Did not seem to care. Just wanted to get me out of there. If she had bothered to listen, she might have actually been able toHelp me.
Happy with the employees. Very polite and helpful. Good office.
The wait time was a bit long but staff caring for me made up for that. The people that actually dealt with me once I was taken back into the clinical area were fully capable, friendly and treated me as a person not a statistic. Both the student nurse and the doctor were very pleasant and professional while treating me. The doctor actually listened and considered my suggestion as to what I felt the problem was.I will gladly visit this Fast Med office in future, as needed, due to exemplary caring service I received from them.
Very nice and took the time to answer my questions. Very thorough explanation of what and why, and just what you hope for when going to the doctor. There was a bit of a wait time, but it’s to be expected when walking in without an appointment. The front desk clerk was very nice and personable. If you need urgent care, this is a good place to start.
Waiting area and rooms are clean. Online registration was very easy. Very quick but were thorough and caring. I will use this location again.
Barely a wait. The lovely front desk lady updated my preferred name in the computer. Doctor was straightforward and was very concise with her words. I appreciate that.Edited to 3 stars because despite on the paperwork asking about a preference in pharmacy, they didnt fill it anywhere near my preferred pharmacy. Why ask if it makes no difference and youll fill it where you want to?
The wait was long but to be expected for a walk in and with our over burdened medical field. The receptionist was very friendly and kind to every person that came in. Our NP, Breen I think, was absolutely amazing. Very kind and patient with our nervous toddler. She was also great about not putting her through unnecessary tests, just the ones that made sense to what she could treat. I would come back just for her!
We walked in to the clinic and the front desk young lady Jasmine, and the young lady that did our vitals, we very nice and the PA that saw us she was very professional and answered all our questions.I have been to Urgent cares in Tucson. This one is Clean, Fast, and very professional team.We wont go anywhere else.Thank yoy
My experience here was quick and efficient. The staff was very nice as well as knowledgeable. I would recommend this facility and will definitely receive future medical care from here.
The staff at NextCare Urgent Care were helpful and professional. I highly recommend making an appointment online and completing the easy to use forms. FNP, Patricia was knowledgeable and comprehensive in her treatment and customer service!
Brought my son in due to a gastro upset. My son had an accident on the way and the staff was accommodating in letting us clean him up in the restroom and putting us in a ro close to the restroom for quick and easy access. They offers to connect us to a 24 hour pharmacy. The front desk receptionist, the MA, and the NP were all very thoughtful, attentive, accommodating, and personable interacting with us and my son. They lightened the mood, the NP was thorough and eased our concerns. They did not rush us as it was close to closing time. I really appreciate their care and customer service.
Great staff & I really appreciated the time Nurse Jessica Napier FNP took to see me. I was a walk in & the wait was short.
The provider was helpful and knowledgeable. The facility itself was understaffed and took over 6 hours for the prescription to be called into the pharmacy.
Amazing! Staff caring, professional, and knowledgeable. I received treatment within minutes of arrival and my right eye injury was diagnosed and treated within minutes. And pain was eradicated!!! Plus I was given a lollipop (instead of August calendar) inside joke; for being me❣️Thank you all for my wonderful care rendered!Ps Rhonda you did well😇
I usually rate my experience here with the doctors at 5 stars. Unfortunately today, I checked in the night before for 8 am sharp. As soon as the doors opened I was there with my two kids. However a walk in was given priority over my online check in. I was forced to wait an extra entire hour with my two toddler aged children. However, I return to this clinic because the doctors are always really great. They do a great job. They seriously need to prioritize online check especially within 15 minutes of eachother. In my case this morning, was checked in exactly the same time but wasnt given priority.
I go to this clinic when my pcp doesn’t have an appointment soon enough for my issue. They have always been great. Friendly, professional, and fairly quick. I definitely recommend them.
This facility is so conveniently located. When I got there the front desk staff was attentive right away and got me checked in fast and efficiently. Very friendly too.The gentleman that checked my vitals was amazing as well, very friendly and professional. The doctor, again like the rest of the staff, was awesome! I felt very comfortable being treated there and I felt like I was important and they cared. I highly recommend them! For sure will be going back if need be.
This Urgent Care has got to be the slowest Urgent Care in Tucson. I made an appointment for my daughters physical for school to play sports, and not only was my appointment changed, but it was not honored. My appointment time was changed from 3:10pm to 3:30pm. There were 2 people sitting in the waiting room and we have waited now for almost an hour. I hate this Urgent Care, but because the school requests the physical to be done here, we dont have a choice. If you feel like sitting for a ridiculous amount of time for something as simple as a physical, by all means, come here. 10/10 would not recommend. Ps. Im sure they know exactly what theyre doing because I already paid the fee for the physical, and were still waiting. I will never come back to this Urgent Care.**Side-Note: We were just called to the back, and they took my daughters vitals only to stick us in a room and tell me that the doctor will be in to see her in 20 mins. This is dumb.I will never ever go back to this Urgent Care ever again! This is NOT a positive review because it was NOT a positive experience! Please be sure to read my NEGATIVE review in its entirely Melissa Johnson (Office/Clinic Manager)
Absolutely horrible. I called Nextcare last night and they said they could do the test and provide a script for medication for today and in the future. After I paid my copay the amazingly rude doctor said that was not true. They do not do the test and she could provide me what amounts to ibuprofen.
The young girl at the front desk was very nice and attentive. The Physician assistant was quick to help us and pleasant. si recommend this place. The wait wasn’t ver my long .
Staff and doctors are very friendly and take their time to actually figure stuff out with you.
Very good experience. The Doctor was most helpful!
Convenient location, didn’t wait long, happy with prescriptions.
I started at this Urgent care and have to use them before. They are very nice but this time I had an appointment at 9:20 arrival time was supposed to be at 9:05 I Arrived at 9:12. I was seen at 10:39 then told no x-ray tech. So disappointed this was never like this before. Possible told they are running behind. When I made the appointment I should have been given a choice due to no x-ray tech.
Exceptional staff and nurse practitioner!!Positive attention and responsive
I truly appreciate the professionalism and friendliness of the staff at Fast Med. The waiting room has social distance spacing, the environment is clean, and surfaces are continually disinfected. It is best to set up an appointment then the waiting time is no more than 5 minutes. I have not had an issue seeing a doctor or physician assistant within that reasonable time frame. The health care professionals are caring, listen attentively and do all they can including x-rays if deemed necessary. During Covid 19 it can be difficult to see ones family physician. I am extremely pleased with the care I have been given when those occasions have arisen when I needed tests or other urgent care.
Beside having to wait two hours to be seen the staff was so sincere and down to earth. They took great care of me and gave me fast results.Going to give another star back. This place is awesome. They took great care of my lil man with an ear infection. Fast in and out and got our prescription two hours after. Thank you NextCare team!
The facility was very clean and everyone was incredibly efficient. That being said, the support staff was wonderful. Everyone was professional but still friendly and chatted amiably with me while treating my wounds. The doctor was also very friendly and informative. I left with no questions or concerns. The wait was shorter than the average Urgent Care. If I need COVID-19 testing or fall again, both of which have pretty decent odds, I would definitely go back to see them again.
Went there for gout issue and was giving one day supply of gout medicine, which does no good. The physician that I talk to stated that she knew that it’s two pills, one day and hour later another pill, and then two pills after that until the goat has been relieved, I went to pick up the prescription. The prescription was for three pills of colchicine kind of upset and concerned that the physician would give me one day supply medicine to take care of something when I wasn’t told that .
I was seen within a half hour of arriving, the front desk girls were great greeting me as soon as I stepped into the building. The Physicians Assistant asked probing detailed questions to get to the root of my issue. Not only did he explain things thoroughly but in a manner I could understand. Also provided some additional information with my discharge paperwork.
I was a walk-in with no appointment scheduled and there were absolutely other appointments scheduled ahead of me. I waited 40 minutes for my insurance information to be fully verified, and then another 25 waiting for the MA to bring me back. They did so, got my information and general overview, etc., and then within another 10 minutes I was being seen by the NP.Overall, I am satisfied with my care. They related to me multiple times on a personal level, were clear and concise, and were compassionate. The medical staff was excellent and skillful. (Shout-out to Kevin for being amazing with my blood draw!)The areas of improvement I could see (coming from a medical background myself): Wait times could be better estimated/communicated, insurance verification can absolutely be quicker with dedicated personnel, and introductions could be made. I had to ask for their names halfway through a conversation and only knew I saw the NP by way of the office visits notes. Still, overall I am pleased by their service. :) 4/5 stars!
My experience with this FastMed was not what I was expecting it to be. I came into this building and there was not a patient in site so I arrived at a good time. The girl that was working the front desk was polite and kind and did her part as the face of the office she greeted and helped me. When I got to the back and was put in a room with Danielle, she began asking questions about what was going on and I starting explaining what was happening and what I have done so far about my issue. She had the nerve to look at me and express and attitude with her face and hand gesture and tell me so what do you want us to do about it? That alone already had me in the mindset that I am not going to get the care or support I need from this office. The doctor came in and asked what was happening and I again explained my problem and she had me lift my shirt so she can examine my back and said there is swelling to the affected area and stated that she doesnt understand why i am stating to have pain in my upper spine and in my lower ribs. She asked what we would like to do. I said have an appointment Wednesday with my chiropractor but something just doesnt seem right. I would like an x-ray to rule out any issues with my ribs due to a previous history with rib displacement. She did the x-ray, and came back and just said that everything was clear and doesnt see anything wrong. She said that there is nothing she can recommend because I have already done all things she would suggest. So my concern of the x-ray was answered somewhat but i was left with this unsettling feeling that my visit was rushed like they had somewhere else to be. She rushed out the door quickly. I walked out of the room and didnt know if there was anything else I needed to do since she didnt advise for me to head out or was told i could go so I walked out to the front and asked the girl if there is anything else needed of me and I expressed that I would like the name of the MA and doctor because my encounter was rude. I feel like this was more of a money transaction to get paid for a 5 minute service than of patient care. I work in the medical field as well and patient care and concern is a must.I ended up in the hospital and was diagnosed with Degenerative Disc Disease pending surgery. I know I went to an urgent care that has limited sources, I just dont feel like beyond the front desk patient care or concern was taken. So I will never use this FastMed ever again or recommend it. But again I give credit for the front end receptionist who made the entry welcoming 5 stars to her but otherwise my view on the rest of the visit was a solid 2.
Entire experience was great. We are transitioning from military to civilian healthcare and are not knowledgeable about civilian care, and I needed to be seen. Your website and on line sign in were user friendly and easy. I was greeted warmly by Heather and dealt with patiently. So kind. My health care was professional and knowledgeable. I got fantastic care with both the medical assistant and the nurse practitioner. I feel so much better now. I was seen and treated in a timely manner. Social distancing protocol was in force. Easy in and out with ample parking. We are so fortunate to have such a great urgent care down the street. They are wonderful!!!
Ladies at checkin were really professional. Physicians Assistant never looked inside my nose at lesions/mucus from upper respiratory cold I’d had since end of November til first week of January, maybe due to safety concerns for herself and the staff. She kept a good distance from me. However, she did give me a topical antibiotic to speed along healing of lesions she could see near my eyes and eyebrows, which she said could also be inserted into my nose
FastMed Urgent Care was great! The online check-in made it quick and easy to get in. Using the sign-in tablet was great, as well. You didnt have to write your name and info on multiple forms making it quick and easy! The staff was fast and efficient. I received great care from the Physicians Assistant. She listened to me and was very through. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend them.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Ive been there many times and Ive had excellent service every time. The only thing thatCould make this better is if they had a x-ray machine but that can be pretty expensive for an operation like the urgent Care
Fast service, friendly care. Very pleased with the experience.
Excellent service. Provided timely and effective medical help. I was on travel, away from home when I got sick. The staff was professional, knowledgeable and caring. I saw a PA within 10 min of arrival and was done in about 30 min total. Medicine was sent electronically to a pharmacy and was easy to get. It’s hard to be sick, harder when away from home but a huge relief to get someone who cared that could help get my health back on track. I definitely recommend this FastMed Urgent Care!
Everyone was super nice and the process was fairly quick.
I was seen as soon as I was done filling out the info they needed. The young lady at the desk was super kind and despite the pain I was in, she made me feel incredibly comfortable. The Nurse and Dr Matthew were incredible!!!I was so nervous about going in due to the extreme pain in my foot and they were so quick to make me feel comfortable and ease my concerns. The Dr made me laugh at a time when I really needed to and explained every detail of what he was doing and what I needed to do once I was back home. I’m so grateful for the 5 star service & care they gave me.
On Friday morning, before the clinic was even open, I made an online appointment for noon. I arrived early, as requested, and filled out the paperwork (again) ahead of time. I waited more than 2-1/2 hours to be seen, during which I heard the receptionist tell multiple walk-ins that the wait time was around two hours. No water in the waiting room, damned uncomfortable chairs, and no masking enforcement. When I was finally seen by the physician at 2:45, he spent all of two minutes with me and prescribed an antibiotic. Oh, we cant prescribe cough syrup, sorry, which was the reason I came in. This used to be a decent clinic. I wont be coming back.FOLLOWUP: The owner suggested that I make an online appointment next time, and that this step would have eliminated the ridiculous wait time. As I said in the original post, this is exactly what I did. It was a waste of time, as the walk-ins were treated as quickly as the scheduled appointments.
This NextCare Urgent Care location is outstanding! The staff is incredibly friendly and patient and the Provider Darlene is one of the best providers Ive been seen by! Her knowledge, kindness and compassion made me feel better instantly! Should I need Urgent Care services in the future, this Location will be the only one on my speed dial! Thanks to all of the amazing staff!!
Olivio was great and understanding.. gave me grest comfort
On time for my appointment and great care! Thank you!
Dont waste your time or money!I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I gave it one star simply because the receptionist at the front desk was nice and professional.I went several times in December and January and was treated very unprofessionally by the NPs. Two different NPs refused to listen to me try to describe my symptoms, and instead acted with condescending god-complexes. The first prescribed antibiotic didnt work, and neither did the second two weeks later. Another doctor at a different place later told me the OTC medicine these NPs suggested at the time actually made my condition worse. But they were happy to bill me $300 each time and lecture me on my Covid vaccine status and my blood pressure. They really didnt even want to examine me or help me recover, so I decided that we wouldnt ever go back.Fast forward to today. My son has been sick for a week and appointments at two other urgent care clinics on the NW side didnt work out, so my wife took him to see the NP at NextCare as a last resort. The NP lectured my wife and son about getting Covid and flu tests. When they refused, she barely looked at his Pink Eye infected eyes and told them it was just a cold, but I can give you medicine for pink eye if youd like. We called our pharmacy 5 hours later and discovered that even though it was on this discharge paperwork, they never called the prescription in. I was on hold with Nextcare for 40 minutes and decided it would be faster to drive my son back to find out what happened with the prescription. They claimed to have sent it in the first time, then sent it again, but our pharmacy had no record of the first prescription ever being sent. To top it off, the NP sent the most expensive eye drops they could find. Thankfully, the pharmacist gave us a discount.Do yourself a favor and go to one of the other urgent care or minute clinics on the NW side, and avoid this place like your life and bank accounts depend on it!
Greeted very kindly at the front desk. Med assistant was friendly and did her job quickly. The Nurse Practitioner was very personable and I felt she listened well to my worries on why I was there. In all, I am so glad I decided to go in. The location is very close to my home so it was very convenient as well.
Front office was very nice and helpful. Medical assistant was okay. Provider that helped me was horrible and didn’t help me at all but to give me a prescription and tell me what I already knew going in. I was told I couldn’t be helped at that clinic and should go the er if I felt I was sick enough. She stood at the door way, didn’t exam me or ask what concerns I was having, Then walked out of the room, didn’t say we could leave-we continued to wait 25 more minutes before giving up and walking out to ask if we were done. Waste of two hours!
Dr. Sylvia was exceptionally kind and professional. I went in for something that could have turned into a conversation full of “you should have known better” and reprimand. Those conversations never occurred. I was greeted with compassion and was educated on ways to assist my burn in the healing process. Dr. Sylvia’s staff was thorough and answered any questions that I may have. With COVID-19 still active, their precautions that were taken were outstanding!! Very diligent care for the cleanliness of the clinic seemed to be the highest priority equally comparing to the care of the patients that were being seen! I would HIGHLY recommend this Urgent Care!! Thank you all for your loving kindness!!! 😀
Nextcare Urgent Care Marana: Receptionist is wonderful and Patty the nurse practitioner was so helpful and kind and thorough. Next best thing when you cant get into your PCP. The only downside was waiting so long to be seen, even after making an appointment, they seemed to see all four walk-ins before me. They may have been more urgent than me which is fine. Still got great care though!
Excellent service. Friendly staff. Every person I talked to was a pleasure. I feel love I was well treated and respected.
The receptionist seemed ready to go home. The doctor got irritated when I wanted to find out if my insurance was going to cover the medication, Dr. Rhonda should not be a doctor if she only cares about the money, and the lobby was extremely hot. The co-pay here is more than other urgent care centers because of the area.
Absolutely ridiculous. Everywhere says walk-ins welcome but that is not ture at this location. You are forced to download their app and make an appointment to be seen there is no walkin. After you make an appointment to get care you will still wait 1 to 2 hours for vitals check, where you will either be returned to the waiting room or sent into a room to wait some more. After they call you again(or youve been left in the room) only to have you wait in said room some more. All you can hear is the staff carrying on, laughing and yelling, from the back of building. Even with an appointment waits times are averaging 2+ hours for the 5 people here. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.
I was seen at NextCare in Marana. The care I got was fine. I have a problem with the wait time. I made an appointment, did my paperwork online and arrived 15 minutes early. They took 5 walk ins before they called me. You can follow who has an appt and who is a walk-in on the app. After the 4th, I questioned the receptionist who told me they were really behind and I would be next. Then they called another walk-in which cleared everyone waiting except for me and another person with an appointment. I waited almost 50 minutes after my appointment time. Total time 1 hr 25 minutes. I think if you are going to advertise an appt system that allows you to be seen quickly, you should honor it. I would go there again if I had a minor problem and couldn’t get an appt with my PCP. I would expect to wait.
Day after Christmas busy than normal, system went down, fire truck came. The crew handle it very well things got done in timely fashion regardless. Good crew!
Provider is completely useless. She refused to refill my medication to last me from now until I can see my primary provider. I have just moved here and no one will help. The Dr said it’s a liability but I am literally asking for 1.5 months of medication until my primary can see me. She told me to go to a different urgent care! Shame on this place.
Front staff was amazing let’s just put that out there! They were so helpful and understanding. The Dr there was horrible! Not the nurse practitioner just the Dr. herself. She totally disregarded how I was feeling and what my pain level was. I waited for 2 and a half hours to only end up seeing her for 5 min for her to tell me to take Advil and say you can go to the front now. I understand it’s busy days and they see quiet a lot of people but I will never go back there and I will be filing a complaint. She made me feel uncomfortable and made it seem like I was only there to get a prescription for some hard core stuff, which I wasn’t! I just wanted to feel better and get an understanding of what could be going on. Needless to say I left still in pain, crying and upset/dissatisfied.
EXTREMELY long wait time even with an appointment then a 15 minute wait for a single sheet of discharge paperwork despite the office being empty. Will NOT be returning.
Absolutely awful. Receptionist was very sweet and apologetic about the wait. After an hour wait for swab to test for COVID the tech came in and took my vitals and did the test. She said the doctor had to come in a check me out. So I waited. I could hear the doctor in the central area talking to another person just visiting with her. Waited another 30 minutes until I said I had to leave. Finally he came in and rudely told me there were people in front of me and I had to wait my turn. I said I wouldn’t argue with him but a 90 minute wait was ridiculous. I had a 2:00 slot but I understand that people come in a head get to go in first. The doctor was unapologetic and rude. The tech even complained to me about the doctor before he came in. I will never go there again
The nurses and doctors were very sweet, calm and collected despite dealing with difficult customers which did not go unnoticed! Really felt like I wasn’t just another customer. I only have 4 stars though because the receptionist at the front did not, however, make me feel important. I had filled out information online to help the process go by quicker and showed the QR to them and they had no knowledge of that part on the website. I was brushed aside and had to refill out the information anyway. While their behavior wasn’t very great, I do understand it has something to do with patients growing impatient and complaining to them.
The PA was excellent! Very attentive and caring. He didnt rush even though it was fairly busy.
Staff was very pleasant and my visits helped me 100%. I would if needed go there over other urgent care centers
Everyone was great and got us admitted quickly. I love that they had a PA assisting us. She was awesome and knew how to speak to my kiddo. Will go here again.
We set a time to be in there and then had to wait 2 hours for a five minute test. We thought that if they knew we were coming it would be faster. It wasnt! They had only one doctor and Im not even sure she was an MD. They called her a provider. There were three people on the front desk. Seems like they could do a much better job with more providers and less front office help. Especially help that cant utter the word its first come first serve even if you sign up for a time to be there!!! We are very dissatisfied with you and will not recommend you to any one
Really easy to get an appointment and seen quickly. Staff were all great and the doctor was quick to see what was wrong and get me prescribed the medication I needed.
Worst urgent care facility. They encourage an appointment but they have walk ins go before appointment times. Scheduled an appointment for a strep test. Appointment was at 10:20 site said you must check in 15 mins prior. I was here at 10. At 11:05 I still have not been seen. They said they do not know what the wait time is and that the appointments work as a walk in. Was not seen until about 11:45. The test took a total of 5 minutes. Was told they needed to take cultures and someone would call me with the results. That is a complete lie. No one calls and it is impossible to speak with anyone there that is willing to help. Front desk people are not friendly at all. This has been on of the absolute worst experiences. Only go here if you have hours to waste
Got in and out quickly! Very nice staff!
This place was amazing. We got there, 20 minutes before they closed and they still had my son out of there. Only five minutes after closing whereas the other place we were at we were sitting there for almost 2 hours and still not even out of the wood lobby. best choice I ever made going to this place.
The FastMed Urgent Care Clinic advertises ‘walk in’ attention and ‘appointments not required’. Not true - I had to wait until the next day (and make an appointment!) to be seen. I paid a hefty co-pay, only to have them send me elsewhere with an x-ray. On the first day (when I couldn’t be seen) they could have informed me about the evening walk-in orthopaedic clinic. I was obviously in a great deal of pain - with a broken bone. The computer copy of the x-ray FastMed took was unreadable, and had to be redone at the orthopaedic clinic. I spent time... and a hefty co-pay... on nothing. The woman in line behind me at FastMed was being tested for Covid. It felt unsafe - no temperatures were taken. No separate waiting area. It was all very disappointing. And expensive. Seemed making money was more important than was the patient’s health and well being. A huge disappointment.UPDATE:The Lead Physician did contact me, and although there were issues I encountered during this particular visit, I would STILL return to FastMed in the future. Also, I recommend others go there as well. The current Pandemic has altered their business model (call ahead for an appointment!) and I’m now quite convinced of their concern about individual people who seek medical attention.Thank you for contacting me to discuss my concerns.
Have been the this clinic 3 times. Every time I have gone in we never waited more than 15 minutes and the doctor came into the room right after we where taken back. Front desk and nurses are very helpful and compassionate! I will continue to go here when our pediatrician is unable to fit us in.
Melissa is awesome. She makes the check-in process super easy and quick due to her flawless knowledge. Not to mention her positive attitude and her kindness. The MA was quick and very friendly. The doctor was also very kind and listened patiently to every complaints, which we all know isnt always the case. Her diagnosis and treatment recommendation brought my kid prompt relief. Thank you! We appreciate you all!
