I took my son to his pediatrician for a low grade fever and soar throat. After a negative strep, I was told it was simply a virus. He was later sent home from school when his fever reached 101, and missed the whole week. I didnt feel comfortable traveling for the holidays as he had not improved. We took him to AFC urgent care (as I had utilized them in the past for myself) I knew they had the ability to run lab and X-ray if needed. Sure enough his stats were concerning, and panel came back negative, but an X-ray showed pneumonia!!! Im thankful AFC cares to look at all the details to give a definite diagnosis that was otherwise missed. All the staff was so kind and knowledgeable; the appointment took less than an hour and we were seen almost right away. With a script for antibiotic and a nebulizer, we were in the road. My son felt back to normal within 2 days and was able to enjoy the Christmas vacation, he even went skiing! My mom heart felt at ease seeing him return to his normal, healthy self. I would trust AFC with any of my familys health needs
The staff was amazing. They were very friendly and helpful. I did not have to wait long and was treated quickly. If I ever need urgent care again I will go nowhere else but her. Alexandria is my favorite.
I went to this urgent care because it was closest to my house. I do not have insurance so they were very detailed in presenting options to me and gave me an opportunity at saving costs every step of the way. My triage nurse was so funny and put me at ease. The doctor himself was great and got me everything I needed to treat my pneumonia. They even gave me lots of coupons that significantly reduced the costs of the 3 prescriptions I had to get. Is it a fancy place? No, but it’s inexpensive and they’ll help you figure out the best option - which was still significantly cheaper than going to an ER - and for that I am truly grateful. Thank you so much!!
Staff was very knowledgeable, personable and caring from check in through departure. Dylan (NP) was very quick to arrive to room and was genuinely caring regarding my symptoms. Diagnosed my illness, prescribed me medications and told me to call if I had any concerns. MA and X-ray tech were great too!
100% 👍🏻🤠 absolutely positive experience. Dillon the P.A. did a fantastic job stitching up my father-in-law‘s arm and the nurse did a great job with my 89-year-old father-in-law unfortunately I didn’t get her name. The ladies at the front desk were very helpful and everyone was very professional if we ever have the need we will definitely return to AFC urgent care.
Had a great experience today through check in, with the assistant who got my vitals and history, and with Dylan the PA. I have been sick with a cold/sinus troubles for over a month and am also 10 weeks pregnant. Dylan listened to my concerns and was very considerate of my pregnancy while deciding my plan of care and any medications that he prescribed. Would definitely recommend!
My local urgent care couldn’t help me so I drove 45 mins to this location. I was seen within 15 mins. The staff was very friendly, positive and extremely funny. Quick and pleasant experience.
Absolutely unprofessional, trashy place!I went yesterday for urgent checkup and I asked them to send a prescription to pharmacy that was open after 7, and the nurse practitioner asked me to go to cvs which was closed, she didn’t even bother to call back and say the pharmacy is closed, I will send it to other pharmacy… I went back and asked the front desk to change pharmacy, drove 40 min to the pharmacy tht was open , waited 1hr, to get prescription to actually show up and turns out it can’t be filled until Jan 1. I guess I went to urgent care for a reason, if I had to wait , I could have waited and been to the place that accept my insurance instead of paying full price to be seen for less than 5 min and no prescription.Very unprofessional!Would it have taken more than a minute to sit with me and see the open pharmacy and send the prescription there??
I made an appointment to bring my son in for what we suspected was strep throat. We were 5 minutes early for our appointment time and it took almost 20 minutes past our appointment to get back to a room where they took swabs for a rapid strep test. It then took over 45 minutes to get the results of that test. I have never waited more than 15 minutes for a strep test. The strep test was negative for strep A, but I was told it could be Strep B or C, so they just wrote him a prescription for an antibiotic. I asked about a vaccination schedule for HPV for my son and she had to go look up the shot regimen online because she didn’t know. To top it off, I get to the pharmacy and the pharmacist said that the prescription that they wrote has a small risk of allergic reaction for my son. AFC knew about this allergy and still prescribed that medication. Pharmacist had to call them and get a different prescription. Worst experience I’ve ever had at an urgent care. The first time we went here when my husband had a nosebleed, they just sent us right to the emergency room. Not sure how much help this urgent care really is.
My son and I arrived to complete a sports physical. They had us waiting well over an hour and proceeded to serve patients that came in well after we did. I went to the front desk to see what was going on and she said “well I’m not quite sure, I think it was a mistake.” No apology, no empathy, no customer service. She asked another employee why we were not called and I heard her say “they are pulling the wrong names,” again no communication, no customer service. I never received an apology. They were not helpful, maybe it’s because we are black. I will never visit this location again. I will be sure to tell everyone I know that this place is a joke and should only be used as a last resort. If I could give zero stars I would.
Following a skating accident resulting in my daughters arm injury, we arrived at the clinic shortly before closing. Despite this, the staff were exceptionally welcoming and remained beyond their scheduled hours to ensure she received the necessary care.
Wonderful and helpful staff, all around. Front desk ladies were sooo friendly, nurse was amazing and the Dr. whom saw my son was sooo attentive and helpful! Will definitely be back!
Woke up to my debit card being charged without ANY notification other then I had a balance on my account a week or so ago! Called to ask what is going on and apparently when you go you have to keep a card on file and the paperwork you sign now gives them authorization to deduct up to $400 a month without YOUR knowing right before it happens! So hopefully you don’t have any bills like rent due before they deduct. I find this very shady! It should be spoken to anyone walking through that door that is the POLICY!!! Please read the fine print!!!
Scheduling online was fantastic, I was actually seen before my scheduled appointment! All of the staff (registration, nursing, and provider) were outstanding! Thank you for providing quality care in a timely manner!
Honestly very impressed with this office. The staff is so welcoming and sincere. Its nice to see in an environment like that where staff could easily get caught in the monotony of the days. Ive been seen here for a work comp case as well as personal.
I called twice to make sure they had appointments available for Tetanus vaccines for my kids. We came in, filled out all the paper work, waited an hour, was taken back to a room, waited, to then be told they didn’t have any Tetanus vaccines for kids under 7. Pure incompetency, they could’ve told me that over the phone, or while we were waiting. Two hours of our day wasted. Will not be returning.
Very professional and courteous staff. In and out in under 1 hour. I was very pleased with my experience.
The check in process was so extra , like your doing their jobs then they wana bug and ask r u having trouble getting checked in like umm hello im navigating through these endless questions & filing everything out ! Bring back the days where checking in wasn’t on a tablet or cellphone !!!!!!! What if my phone was dead ? Like what happened to the good old paper days ! Then u can’t even check in while ur doing all the stuff u need to fill out so ur waiting on the forms plus waiting afterwards
These guys are awesome! My wife came in for nausea due to pregnancy. She has very bad veins when catheters are being placed but this staff got it on the first try! I would highly recommend AFC Urgent Care Wichita to everyone in need of care!Tina Norton, Rupshikh Mishra, and Khanh Nguyen are absolutely amazing!
The service was good Ive been there several times but they changed to 3rd party billing that just takes money out of your account with no notice or authorization the 3rd party billing is terrible and they just take the money with no bill
I had an exceptional experience at AFC Urgent Care. The staff was incredibly welcoming and professional, ensuring that I felt comfortable and cared for from the moment I walked in. The service was prompt and thorough, with the team taking the time to accurately diagnose and treat my condition. What truly stood out was the follow-up care; they called to check in on my progress and make sure the treatment plan was effective. This level of dedication and care is rare and truly appreciated. Highly recommend!
Great first experience at this urgent care! All of the staff were friendly! I love that I can make an appointment from home and wait in the comfort of my own home, instead of sitting in a waiting room exposing myself and others to more illness. The doctor I saw was quick but efficient. They took care of me and sent me on my way! They will definitely be my go-to for urgent care!
The only place I go to. Love them and the doctor is so knowledgeable! All the women are extremely friendly, quick and efficient on after care. I drive across town to come here.
Very sweet front desk staff and very understanding nurse/doctors. Im nervous in a medical environment and they made me feel supremely comfortable :)
The staff were professional and friendly. Very impressed with Dr. Sarah. She was professional and knowledgeable. Appreciated her kindness and her advice about overall health issues that we had not been aware of.
I had an absolutely fantastic nurse practitioner. She was very concerned about my needs. She took the time to listen and acknowledge what happened. The nursing staff was also extremely friendly and an absolute delight to be around all with wonderful smiles on their faces.
Thank you for allowing walk in clients in addition to appointments. So many urgent care facilities only accept appointments in the wake of COVID, but that defeats the purpose of an Urgent Care center. I was able to make an appointment and get fully registered online, but then came early just in case and was able to be seen sooner. Thank you! I also appreciated that the nurse practitioner was willing to listen to me when I explained what treatments had helped most in the past before prescribing something.
I usually have a good experience at this location. We were in today and saw Elizabeth. She was condescending in her treatment recommendations and her bedside manner lacked professionalism. If I wouldn’t have had better experiences in the past with different providers, I’m not sure I would come back after this visit.
I want to sincerely Thank everyone from the girls up front, the nurses that attended me the doctor as well they were all helpful and listened and I highly appreciate there work and will recommend them with my friends and family.
I’ve had two really positive experiences here. The providers are courteous and helpful, and the wait time was super reasonable both times.
I drove 25 minutes because this was the only urgent care open. I had an hour wait (which was fine) and the provider greeted me with all of the kindness for me and my baby. She made sure there were no questions at the end of the exam. She consulted the doctor also, which was amazing. People just dont do that anymore. She asked all the questions. I didnt get a I dont know whats going on so here try this and then call your own doctor vibe. I think the providers name was Sarah. But she was just amazing. Ill never take any of my kids anywhere but there now. Ill drive the 25 minutes for care like that. Also to add, they gave my baby a shot in office and hes been doing well since.
They were really nice and extremely quick. No appointment at all and they didnt even hesitate to get us in the door. Absolutely amazing!
Everyone was really helpful there!! I had a strange-looking spider bite and the staff did all they could. Everyone I came in contact with there was so concerned and helped me a lot.
Thank you for your quick and friendly service and for really listening to me as a patient. Check in and registration were also very quick and easy. I had to be back to work after my appointment and the whole staff and online registration made it possible for me to make it back to work quickly while still being thorough and friendly. Best doctor visit experience I have had in a long time.
The staff was absolutely amazing and very helpful. And the provider Dr. Sydney was my favorite. Just moved to Kansas and she was the first provider Ive seen and I loved her.
AFC Urgent Care Wichita is an excellent service!I was most impressed its a small facility, a caring staff from the receptionist, nurse and doctor.
Thank you for your quick response and care! With the efficiency and ease of online booking for my appointment, I was in and out in 30 minutes. The care I received was marvelous!! I am much better and because of the medical care I received, I wont miss a day of work! I appreciate the swift, kind, and complete treatments from check-in to check-out. You are a blessing!!!
I came here with a head injury a few weeks ago. As a typical dude who doesnt want to bother with doctor visits or medical care in general, Ive been to many urgent care centers in my lifetime! This place blew me away as the most professional and welcoming one Ive ever visited. Every employee I encountered was on top of their job and no one treated me like a number. I cant recommend this place highly enough.
This is my go-to clinic when needed outside of my usual drs sched.. Dr.Mansoor has a very pleasant & caring bedside manner and is very efficient (aka lightning fast). Office staff and nurses are very helpful & professional as well. I was in and out in 26 mins w meds in hand. Impressive, Thank you!!
Always very friendly and understand my needs quickly. They never try to force me into treatment I dont want!
Check in process was easy. They got us seen very quickly after an injury at the trampoline park. They were very kind to my boys and made a typically nerve wracking and high stress situation calm and easy! We laughed and learned at our visit.
Very Great ! Very Helpful ! Very Friendly !! All the more welcoming to come visit! & definitely tell others about which I already do and still do ! There so amazing !!! And everything is clean hear every time !!!!
I would definitely recommend coming here. The process was easy with online booking. Excellent staff very friendly and knowledgeable. The wait time was minimum. I am on my way to recovery.
Wish I could give 0 stars. Drove all the way here out of my way to get there and have the clinic be closed because “the doctor wanted to close early” what kind of place closes early and doesn’t even post it on the door or let anyone know.
I had an exceptional experience at AFC Urgent Care on Rock Rd today! Within 30 minutes, I was seen, diagnosed, and treated. The staff was incredibly friendly, and to top it off, the doctor even shared some of her personal Halls vitamin C lozenges. It was a 10/10 experience, and I couldnt be happier with the care I received.
I usually have a pretty good experience there. This time my son was tired and throwing a fit because I wouldnt let him tip over the stool and slam it down which was making a very loud noise. The doctor came in wide eyed asking what was going on and I told her was throwing a fit because of the stool and she told me just to let him do it. Im not going to do that. Then, they did a COVID and RSV test on him and I was told it would take 30 min and they would call me. I had to call 4, times and finally 3 minutes before they closed I got his results. I get theyre busy, but these results are also very important as he goes to daycare and could get other kids sick. There was another time that I went in probably a month ago or more and I still havent gotten my results back.
10 amazing service I appreciate your kindness and trying to get us out of there in time for our concert..Amazing, friendly staff and awesome doctor..
The wait time was fine and the receptionist and triage personnel were great. The doctor however was not. I spent no more than 2-3 minutes with the doctor, in which it felt like she had diagnosed me within the first 30 seconds of our interaction. She did not allow me much opportunity to speak on my own behalf. If so, then I would have been able to tell her that everything she was recommending that I do I was already doing daily as a large portion of my job. She left the room telling me that she was sending medication to my preferred pharmacy twice but failed to tell me what medication I should be expecting to pick up.
On 09/13/2023 was my first time at this facility. It was very clean and comfortable atmosphere. They work quickly to keep the flow going with waiting patients to get everyone processed quickly and seen in a short timely manner. I did notice all the staff members worked very well together to keep a good flow going. This I dont see much at busy urgent care facilities with the staff members, most of the other urgent care facilities I visited in the past cant seem to keep up a good flow when there are several patients coming in back to back next thing you know your there another 2 hours before being seen even. The staff members who was involved in my care process were kind with smiles and good attitudes the whole time. I was back there after intake going to a room, getting x-rays, and all done within 10 minutes. I was impressed with the urgent and kind service as well. From when I arrived to when I left, I was there 1 hour total, given I had showed up during a busy period, that is a new record for me :) I received a phone call with my results within 2 hours after I left. This is the first time I have been able to say this about any of the urgent care facilities in wichita, KS (that I have visited),- I highly recommend giving AFC Urgent Care a try! :) I look forward to going back here again when needed :) To the Staff: Thank you all for your kindness and hospitality!
At 38 weeks pregnant, I went in with UTI symptoms (I’ve already had two in the last couple of months). They did a urinalysis and quickly came back to tell me that I didn’t have a UTI and that I needed to go to the emergency room. This terrified me as a first time mom. The hospital ran another urinalysis (just as a precaution) and many other tests (because I had been told I didn’t have a UTI by AFC medical staff). Ultimately, the doctor came back and told me that I did indeed have a severe UTI and I was misdiagnosed at AFC. Not only did we waste time and money, this caused significant and unnecessary stress and anxiety which could have completely been avoided. We will not be returning and highly suggest you consider this when choosing where to go.
So sorry if I came across rude to receptionist when inquiring about wait duration, been dealing with a sick child for 6 weeks and the wait time frazzled my nerves. Thank you for the kindness and understanding, and for apologizing for the long wait! Don’t remember her name, but our nurse practitioner was very nice and patient with us. Long wait but otherwise no complaints. God bless!
They say wait times less then emergency room thats a lie. Waited over a hr just to get into a room. And had two people who came in after me get called back first. When I said something the receptionist had an attitude. Then waited over an hr to be seen after being in a room. Worst experience ever. This isnt to mention I dont feel like I got the best care. Emergency room probably would of done better.
My mom was visiting from out of state and got tooth pain. The doctors got her in quick, got her the antibiotics that she needed and now she is good to go. Thanks for being open on a Sunday and taking care of my mom so quickly.
I walked in and immediately went back with the nurse, no wait. I had nurse Roop who was so sweet and when she drew blood I could barely feel the poke. I also had Dr. Mansoor who was also amazing. Overall the kindest staff I’ve experienced!
From the beginning, the young woman that I approached was professional and business like, but with a touch of caring and compassion. She knows that the reason people come in is because they are not feeling their best. They may be off their game with the technology and the elderly probably have no game at all in that regard. So, with a little touch of kindness, we got me in position to see the medical staff. Again, each person along the chain was kind and friendly. I felt like they wanted to hear me, rather than just tell me. All was great start to finish and it was nice meeting your Director as she stopped in to ensure that I was satisfied with the proceedings. Steven Hill
Made a quick appt for a 30 minute eta, downloaded all my perform ahead of time and waited no more than 5 minutes before being seen
Dude! Elizabeth is top notch! Experienced professional, and just an overall good person to be around! I’d make her my PCP if I could she’s the best!
This is absolutely the BEST experience Ive had at an Immediate Care Clinic. I will be going there, whenever needed, from now on. The staff was professional and personable. The environment was clean and cozy. 10/10 recommend.
Today I went to the Urgent Care facility around 11am and was greeted by Khanh at the front desk who was very professional n was very helpful when I was checking in. Then I was greeted by Roop who took me to a room to get my personal information n why I was there. Roop was very nice and professional n listened to my concern as I was there as I was concerned about the large mold on the left side of my neck as it had gotten bigger get n darker. Then I saw Dr. Mansooz who was amazing and spoke down to my level where I could understand what was going on with my situation. Dr. Mansooz also referred me to a demogolist of my choice and faxed them my information as I will give them a call on Monday, May 6. I left there around 12:30 pm and I was very pleased with the staff and they all made me feel very comfortable. I highly recommend this facility.
The second time I sent to AFC I had been sick with many symptoms that lasted for 4 weeks. When I went in with my son, the APRN came in and immediately focused on him. She was young and a little unprofessional. Maybe because we looked the same age? But Im not here to make a friend. She did not tell me what was wrong with me. Immediately offered me this and that and a steroid shot..um NO. What do I have? I was the one suggesting what I might have had and she said, Yeah it could have been. I dont want to pay 175 dollars for someone to not help me and throw medicine at me to make money. It was a 3 minute visit. Come on.
I went here back in 2017 was terrible experience. I had googled Urgency Care and it popped up again and had nice reviews the last few weeks alone. This time around the staff was quick and very very kind! And attentive to why I went in. Also yea Im a gamer and this is one of my gaming tags lol
Phenomenal from the time I walked in till the time I walked out. I easily made an appointment online and was able to be seen same day in less then 2 hours and almost as soon as I walked in. The front staff all the way to the Dr and everyone in between, super nice and very thorough, compassionate and caring! I highly recommend!
While traveling out of town I became ill and ended up at this clinic. Everyone from the front desk clerk to the patient care people were very kind and most importantly, helpful. There are other clinics that could learn a lot from these people.
Awesome treatmentAmazing hands when administered the shotGreat knowledgeable PAVery friendly staff and welcomingShort wait timeGreat check in system
My experience was so pleasant today. The staff were friendly. Clean facilities, my provider was knowledgeable. I booked my appointment a day earlier and registered online. I’d love it.
Great , friendly, kind and fast. No appointment I think I was there a total of maybe 30 minutes at the most. They found a pharmacy for me that is open in Sunday so I could get my RX today. Hopefully I won’t get sick again but if I do I will come back for sure.
I was told I could not use my flex card to pay after I made an appointment online, wasted my gas, sat in the waiting room and then was told the card machine didnt take accept FSA cards. I have been to this center numerous times and have always paid the same way. That should be posted if true.
Elizabeth PA was really nice and attentive. She saw my mom, who was having vomiting and stomach pain. She was very thorough and helped us out with all our other concerns. She sent us to Via Christi to make sure she didnt have appendicitis and sure enough, she did have one. My mom had the surgery that same day. So thankful we met Elizabeth when we needed help.
A great experience! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff! Thanks for the excellent care!
The PA was just wonderful. Very nice and very caring. Staff was also very helpful and cordial.
My experience here at the AFC has always been positive. From the moment I made an appointment online to the moment I went in person. I took my daughter and they took care of her and it was nice to see that they responded fast and helped her out. The staff is very professional and very caring. They value your time, so that means they dont have you waiting a long time.Thank you for all your help! Its very appreciated!
I went there to have viral testing and treatment. They were efficient, knowledgeable and kind.
Updated review 6/20/24:I had another opportunity to visit AFC and I must say, they have 100% redeemed themselves in my opinion. First, it was an ENTIRELY different and friendly staff that welcomed me upon walking in the door. I already felt guilty because it was like 6:20 PM and they were closing at 7 PM, and I didn’t want to be that one late straggler that kept everybody late, lol. However, the entire staff was very friendly and efficient. I only waited five maybe 10 minutes, however, long it took me to finish my registration before they called me in. The doctor was very personable and had a great bedside manner and went out of her way to build rapport which really puts a person at ease when one isnt feeling their best. Thank you AFC!!First Impressions are lasting.........the RN named Jason was rude and unprofessional. I saw another person describe them as compassionate.............not at all!
Dr was great care was good. It was the billing I have a problem with. $100 if you pay cash for the visit but they don’t tell you that so you give them your insurance next thing you know they bill you for $250 how is it $100 if you pay cash but $250 if you use insurance. Seams a bit sketchy if you ask me.
I have seen Rupshiha several times. This clinic Manager is always happy to see me. I also saw Dr. Tina I like how she helps me feel better when I need to be seen. I love how she listens to my medical concerns. I can not tell you how wonderful of a provider she is at this facility. We are so fortunate to be treated by such a wonderful PA. The front desk associates are great!
Very nice staff, Dr Mansoov was very nice and knew what to do right away. The clinic nurse Rupshikra was also kind. They were attentive to my needs and didnt give the appearance that they needed to rush.
Doctor was very nice and very knowledgeable. I drove from West side to East side of town. I had never been there before. Great staff and made the experience not stressful. I felt like a patient and not just a number.
Been using them for years in place of ER calls and we have always been very happy with their level of treatment. Dr. Mansody (so?) was probably the most comforting physician I have ever encountered. Kind and very professional.
I brought my kids in thinking they had ear infections. We had a little bit of a wait but it was worth it! The staff were all very caring and made my kids and I feel very comfortable. Kim took great care of us and we will definitely be back if needed!
Very friendly and helpful staff at all levels. With Omicron on the rise and other illnesses, they were very busy. Be ready to wait if there are a lot of people there. Thats to be expected with so many people showing up. Be nice to the staff! They certainly are nice. They do everything they can to be efficient. They have a lot of room with two comfortable waiting areas. I needed some specialized issues to be taken care of which took somewhat longer than the typical patient. The doctor was willing to accommodate me and was very patient with me even though she was swamped with work. She was very helpful and friendly. I was very satisfied with my visit. Thank you AFC Urgent Care on Rock Rd!
Good care - Bad system and billing. The care my wife received was good. The Doctor was great! However, their billing systems are terrible and required many phone calls to them and my insurance to get things paid properly and for us to get reimbursed for our overpayment.
Been to many walk-in clinics and these people are by far the best. Nurses are very nice and cute and the doctors are even better than my past PCP’s. Very grateful they are there!!
Elizabeth, the PA is AMAZING! She will listen, actually help you, and her vibes are SO HIGH you’ll want to see her just to calm your anxiety and feel good about yourself. She’s a fantastic health professional who knows her stuff, and her kindness and positivity make the visit completely worthwhile.
I had a wonderful experience at AFC! Both Elizabeth Bui (PA) and the nurse provided efficient and attentive care. They showed genuine concern for my condition and took time to listen to my concerns and symptoms. Elizabeth explained every care recommendation thoroughly and I felt confident with my treatment plan.
I was very sick and went here, the nurses and dr was amazing, nice, and extremely helpful. Found out I have pneumonia. Took speedy care of me, felt better almost immediately and got the medicine at Walgreens asap. I would highly recommend them.
If I could I would give them 10 stars! Very professional staff, I came there with a deep cut wound into my leg and they took me immediately, staff was super nice and friendly, they did beautiful job with stitches and I was very happy that I chose this place! Thank You Very Much!
I had called about ever urgent care on a Sunday trying to figure out their wait times/ walk in rules as I am not from the Wichita area and needed my 2yo son seen. AFC let me check in prior to arriving and I had all my paperwork filled out in my car. This was a huge blessing with a grumpy 2yo. I think I was only in the waiting room for 15 mins and with 15 mins I was on my way with the meds he needed. By far the best waitlist system (others told me I had to wait an hour plus in the building and could not leave. With a sick 2yo, that would be about impossible to keep him entertained and off of surfaces)
Dr Mansoor helped us get my Moms immigration paper work done really fast after we were not able to get an apt elsewhere early enough. She was very encouraging and a big blessing to me for making it so much easier on my work schedule!
Staff was excellent. The doctor was extremely knowledgable & was assertive with treatment, which I like, and after 1 day there is already a vast improvement in my toe issue. The x-ray specialist was also extremely knowledgable & able to zero in on & identify specifically what the issue cause was (arthritis). After only a single visit, the problem is on its way to being resolved & I now have a path forward to address it in the future. I would highly recommend this facility & staff, you accomplished in 1 visit what would have likely taken several visits elsewhere. THANK YOU!!!!!
Absolutely fantastic, professional, courteous, and they worked like an Ochestra. I was the last person of the day and was treated like the first. I was not rushed out the door nor did I have an unnecessary prolonged visit. I literally received prompt respectable care. Totally impressed with Dr.Mansoor and it was all because of her it was the Best Experiance. As I was leaving I thought WOW!
Very responsive, thorough, and friendly. Highly recommend.
Worst place I’ve probably ever been to. Doctor wasn’t thorough and extremely rude. Acted condescending when I told her my gf doesn’t do good with steroids. Just rushed my gf out and gave her steriods anyways, for an upper respiratory infection with no antibiotics. Cost $100 for nothing. It’s a scam to go here, she still hasn’t gotten better. Wish I could get my money back. Because some people don’t have the funds to blow that for nothing.
I was nervous to come in because of the negative reviews, but Im glad I did. Check in took 1 minutes because I had submitted pictures of my card online. I was brought back at my appointment time and only waited 15 minutes to be seen once in the room. The provider I saw was very efficient and listened to what I had to say. She also called in the antibiotic I needed right away. Great experience.
Elizabeth Bui, PA at AFC Urgent Care Wichita is extremely welcoming, thorough and well rounded as a provider! She took exceptional care of me and developed a plan to get me back to my baseline quickly. I will most definitely be returning to AFC in the future for urgent care needs.
I came into the facility because I was not feeling too well and I had the pleasure of meeting PA Elizabeth Bui. She was super professional and super efficient. She was very helpful and made sure I was completely taken care of before I left! If i’m ever in need of urgent care in the future, I will definitely be back here!
Great staff, nurses, and Doctors, they far exceeded my expectations. Knowledge and happy personalities make it a great place to go when you need Urgent Care. Especially the great smile of Medical Assistant Kaylee.
Staff was super friendly and understanding. The triage nurse listened to me and was very patient as I was having problems remembering certain things.Thank you AFC Urgent Care!
The nurse named Amber is great with kids and keeping them calm when they’re getting shots and Dr. Mansoor is very thorough and makes sure your child is getting the best care! Definitely recommend this urgent care!
Very friendly and very nice and helpful got me feeling a little bit better
Was denied access to my med records 4 different times, it was workcomp related and I was told I need workcomp and my bosses permission to access them. This is not correct and illegal. Workcomp and my boss can view them at anytime due to it being work related but I do not need their permission to access them. This was verified by an attorney and work comp case manager. Not to mention the person in charge of records was never avail in person or by phone l, the number to press to call their records dept says their voice-mail box is not set up and for a company thats super unprofessional
My 6 year old son said you did everything right! Even though he cried (first time having step/flu swabs) they were awesome. Double thumbs up from Mom & sick son 😀
It was my 1st there and They are all very beautiful and nice respectful professional workers. Thank you all.
Went in with horrible back pain, ended up needing a steroid shot and Amber administered it and was FANTASTIC! i usually hate needles but she made the process so seamless. everyone there has amazing energy and the best empathy. 5/5 experience
My fiancé was having serious problems with some immediate health issues so I took him to AFC Urgent Care Wichita. The attention and service we received was exceptional! From the moment we checked in until the time we left, we always felt that our needs were important. Everyone there assured us we would leave feeling much better than when we arrived. A special thanks to Kelsey, Kimberly and Rupshikha! They went above and beyond to provide comfort, explain the issues and provide information to get him on the healing path. AFC Urgent Care has my sincere recommendation to anyone experiencing health issues and needs immediate attention.
I went in and ended up seeing dr Elizabeth. I’m not sure what her last name was but she was absolutely amazing! Also every member of the staff was friendly and welcoming and the whole process was a breeze! They got me in and out super fast and I can’t thank them enough for what they do!
OUTSTANDING SERVICE! Though this day I was emotional and drained from personal things, as soon as I walked into AFC, the ladies welcomed me with tears in my eyes and a great attitude in my voice. They were patient with me and helped me while I was talking to my insurance to send a copy of the card, so that my daughter could be seen. It felt like two hours later dealing with insurance, the staff showed empathy and assured me they will take care of us. We saw a provider and she was awesome! Took care of my daughter and even sent a referral for her! This place doesn’t treat you as a number…you feel more like a family member. I definitely recommend this place to everyone. A huge thanks to Cheyenne, Rebecca, Catrencia and Kelsey for their awesome service! You guys rock!
Ive never been to an urgent care before so I didnt know what to expect. But they really put the urgent in urgent care. I was in and out within 25 minutes! A woman name Thanh assisted with my visit and she was great!!! Super informative and really nice. Nichole Thornton gave me my check-up and she was great!!! I wish she was my regular practitioner because she was thorough and very kind. I know that if I ever have a medical emergency I will be going to AFC again!
My experiences at this location have been consistently positive. The staff is professional, courteous, and caring which is greatly appreciated when you arent feeling at your best. The sincerity I felt on my recent visit was just another example of why when I need care in a pinch, this is the location I turn to. From signing in; to pre-appointment diagnostics; to my time with Kelsey, APRN, my visit to AFC was positive and felt like a step in the direction towards recovery from seemingly a severe sinus infection. They took the time to rule out COVID, flu, and strep throat and listened to my concerns and symptoms and treated me accordingly. I made an online appointment in the middle of the night/AM on Saturday and was able to schedule an appointment for 8:45AM on Sunday. I find this location to be efficient and all of the staff to be truly genuine about wanting to be a place to help folks kick start the road to recovery at a time of urgent need.
Efficient facility and flow. Nice doctor but left with no advice for diet for ongoing abdominal pain. Not even ideas on what my symptoms could mean. The woman taking blood made me nervous, since she talked about how nervous she was to take my blood and how she was the only worker who could take blood. She fumbled with the tube while the needle was in and was just apologizing the whole time. If you are bad with needles I wouldn’t go here.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Long wait times (expect to spend at least 1 1/2 hours from the time you step in). I’ve been in 2x for the same issue and been told to take ibuprofen for the pain. The issue I originally went in for has compounded. They upgraded me from at home ibuprofen to a prescription dose and then failed to call it in to the pharmacy. I got put on hold when I tried to call and fix it which disconnected me 2x before I finally got someone. Terrible experience all in all.
Dr Mansoor has amazing bedside manner. Came out while in waiting room and asked each person what they were there for and said they would be with them shortly. Nurse who did vitals was very friendly. Extremely satisfied with my visit. Will be back for all DOT physicals in future as you are treated like a person here. Great doctor.
The staff and provider were very professional and friendly. They treated me with respect and were very kind and listened to my symptoms and treated me very well. Thankyou!
Today was my first visit here and I would say it was the best. they were fast looking after my son gave me very helpful tips to care for him and the staff was the best I have ever had as a doctor visit all the lady’s were very friendly and the doctor was amazing.
Dr.Mansoor is so kind and compassionate. She explained everything so well. My visit was fast and simple. I highly recommend AFC.
The nurse I spoke to was kind and understanding. The doctor was great, talked to me like he understood and explained my injury and how recovery would be. Highly recommend this office!
These people are great. Busy and running around as much as they are but still have a smile on their face and a caring attitude. I just want to thank all of the ladies for how they do their jobs and making me feel cared about
Was seen quickly even though there were 5 people ahead of me. Nurse Jessica and Dr Henry were quick, professional and caring.
My first visit on 4/14/2023 I was very pleased with the attention I got from the time I came through the door. There were a few people ahead of me but the staff checked on me periodically.I was given a x-ray by Debbie and based on my pain ( ribs) she was very gentle and knew that laying down was not gonna happen. She walked me through each scan very carefull then saw Dr Mansoor, who explained that it wasnt a broken rib but a lung infection. They got me a work up and prescribed some medicine and apologized that I had to wait ( l understood the wait) while in such pain.My experience coming in the door and out the door was most pleasant and professional and although I was only in Wichita for the weekend,I would recommend them.I did have to return the following day as one of my my prescriptions was out of stock in several pharmacy.Kelsey Gilliam, understood my needhelpd me with a new prescription in exchange of the other.
The visit itself was fine but I was told they would call me with results within 2 hours and never received a call. When I did call, I asked to be sent a copy of my own personal lab results, they said they could not due to HIPPA. I am familiar with HIPPA and there is no reason a patient should be denied their own lab and X-ray results. Unacceptable.
Very impressed with my visit. I went to this facility because its close to my work. I was in, out, and back to work in less than 30 minutes. The staff that checked me in was very nice and as soon as I filled out the small amount of paperwork I was called back.I saw Nichole and she was fantastic. I told her about a condition I have and she immediately knew what medication I could not take, unlike the usual Immediate Care facility I would normally go to. She prescribed some medication that is costly at my normal pharmacy but sent it to another pharmacy so I could get a better price, and they are sending it to me via FedEx. Nichole was great, understanding, and concerned about how I felt.I will definitely be using this facility in the future.
Dont come here if you can avoid it. Some of the staff would just assume things about you based on age. One woman in the waiting room was asked by the receptionist if she was the grandmother of her daughter. Another nurse asked in the form of a statement to my 48 year old mom your parents are deceased? And they arent. Also has nothing to do with why we came. We were here for an foot x-ray. The same nurse who checked us in triage ended up doing the X-Ray instead. From what the Dr. said, she was a ex-radiation tech and they were understaffed so she filled in? She didnt ask where my moms foot hurt, nor did she place any radiation protection on her, take off her socks, or even ask if she was pregnant as they had her birthday wrong and thought she was 10 years older than she is. Because the nurse didnt ask where her pain was they ended up having to do a 2nd round of x-rays. They kept getting some of her medications confused. And in the end, while the Dr was very kind and I know it must have been hard as it was mothers day, they were understaffed, and due to their x-ray images taking so long to be assessed, we ended up staying a hour past closing and we got there about 1 1/2 hours before close. However, they rushed the foot split molding and sent us away without it being fully set causing it to not be molded correctly to her foot. Im a very understanding person but it was just one thing after another that made us feel very uncomfortable.
Elizabeth Bui PA was phenomenal. I have panic disorder & she really helped calm me. She went above & beyond to help me understand & answer any questions that in turn helped me relax as she didnt rush me like a lot of medical staff Ive noticed at Drs offices or specialty places where they talk too fast & anxiety is on 10 even after telling them I have the disorder. So thanks again Elizabeth!!
Elizabeth Bui, PA at AFC Urgent Care Wichita is amazing and always greets me with a smile! She has been very helpful whenever I visit.
The care at AFC was extremely professional. Elizabeth who is the PA was extremely informative and empathetic to my issue. She took care of my problem and I left the facility feeling good. Tina was the nursing assistant that took my vitals; she was very nice and professional throughout my whole checkup. The price was cheap and they accepted my insurance.
Ive had a hard time finding a primary care physician since moving to Wichita a year ago. Im lucky this facility and staff have been more than capable for handling my visits, and they accept many different insurance plans. Theyre knowledgable, polite, and to-the-point. Im usually in and out in about 90 minutes. I highly recommend, especially if you cant find a PCP in-town like myself. Thanks AFC!
Everything was meant with the best of care. Gave us steroid for our covid and antibiotics. Steroid helped immensely even first night. Very nice nurses and PAs. Not a long wait.
Great place when you need help fast! I was in and out and on the mend!!
I never thought Racism would determine how timely and uncaring i would be seen by a doctor. Today, i went in and registered online while in the office. A lady, Ms Susan came in abit 35-45mins after me. While i waited ,i listened to her whole story to why she was there and she filled out the paperwork (nt online)there as well. Not the issue, while am 45mins into waiting and what the issue is, i noticed i was skipped twice and these people didnt look like me and their reasons was not life threatening. I know for a fact they didnt schedule online as they filled out the paperwork while i was there. After i spoke up, i basically then sat in a back room another 30mins to where i had to get up AGAIN to ask what was going on. They took 2 tests and stated will be ready in 15mins.ok,35mins later, nurse says steroid shot ,chest is weezy. I then had to ask and remind her of what was my results, she said oh yeah,i forgot, its negative for Flu and Covid.I asked to speak to someone, this lady head nurse was disrespectful and disregarded my concern. While am in pain, slightly labored breathing, chest pain esp when i cough or sneeze, she has a smirk on her face and proceeded to state that i was been combative. I know for sure what the definition of combative is and it is not me crying and explaining the whole situation while in pain. It makes sense now because if a Supervisor can be disrespectful, uncaring and unapologetic, why would any other staff care. The ice cold look in her eyes was clear as day but i thought to give her Grace..Wrong, i was so hurt,i just walked away. Now the ladies at the front desk have always been nice. I then called back to get head nurse name, the front desk placed me on hold then to tell me its against HIPAA to give her name out. WAIT What!! The name on your name tag that all patients see when we walk in.!!However,2.5hrs later, i wish i just stayed home sick vs been treated less than.
The front desk staff was very helpful. But the nursing/Dr staff was very dismissive. They told me her hives were from bug bites. She hadn’t been outside and bug bites don’t spread all over the body. I took her to another immediate care they were AMAZING. (I did call her Primary care Dr but they couldn’t get her in today so they said to take her to immediate care) they listened to me and the timeline. Found out she is allergic to the antibiotic she was on for an ear infection. All I can say is trust your gut and ALWAYS advocate for your kids.
Elizabeth the PA was amazing. She was patient with me and super cool. I will mention that I hate shots and they always hurt. But Elizabeth the AWESOME PA made the shots not hurt at all. Please keep her, she’s funny and awesome and I love her attitude.
Made appointment online today for my wife for 5:17pm. Received confirmation and we gave them my wifes information online. Received a few text updates about the appointment, one as we pulled into the parking lot. Walk up to the door at 5:05pm, and the door is locked. Then we see a sign taped to the door saying they close early on July 3rd and 4th at 4:45pm. What an ridiculous waste of our time. Absolutely ludicrous that they would allow us to make an appointment for AFTER they close and we drove all the way over there to have the door locked. Could see people inside at the desk, but they refused to answer the phone. If they cant do the basics right, dont think Ill trust them to actually provide healthcare. Now well have to call when they are open to request they delete our data. More wasted time.
The services provided by AFC Urgent Care in Wichita, KS, were exceptional. They saw me promptly and were extremely kind and knowledgeable. Based on past experiences with hospital emergency rooms, I would recomment the urgent care center over an emergency room in non-life threatening situations.
Our one year old daughter had a mild chest cough, and since she had recently had pneumonia we decided to take her into AFC. Her doctor (Dr. Mansoor) was very helpful and even gave us her personal number, which came in handy. Our daughter was prescribed an oral steroid but was unable to keep it down, so we contacted Dr. Mansoor and she was able to get us in quickly that same day for steroid shot instead.
Was very grateful for the quick help l received with my head laceration. The girls at the front took me back immediately, l received very good care from Elizabeth Bui.. PA .. she cleaned my laceration and applied staples to close my wound and called in antibiotics.I am completely happy with the care l was provided..Thank you !!!
These folks really know their stuff. I was in and out in no time, got the cut on my hand stitched up, and was out the door in time for dinner. Seriously, best urgent care staff Ive ever seen. If I got a job juggling razor blades, I would rest easy knowing the doctors and nurses at American Family Care had my back.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful, the doctor and her tech were very good and the place was nice and clean. The best thing was the wait time for care was short and I was impressed with the quality of care I received.
My son waited an hour and a half and spent about 1 minute with him. He had a large bump with a head on his neck that had gotten worse over the last week. She said he needed to be on antibiotics because it could go into an abscess but she didn’t want to do anything with it because of the nerves in that area. She prescribed an antibiotic but didn’t even take the time to tell him to see his family doctor. I understand the amount of people that are seen in there but expecting maybe five minutes after waiting that long and knowing how infected it was, was unacceptable. I talked to the doctor who I believe was from India and not easy to understand and told her I would think they would want input to better relate to other patients instead of feeling like you were being herded through.
I am so pleased with my experience at Urgent Care. I fell and need an X-ray. I signed in online. Very little wait. Everyone was so nice and helpful. I would highly recommend.
Kim was fantastic with my care. She was very knowledgeable and had great beside manner. I was able to discuss all my concerns with her without judgement. Fantastic Nurse Practitioner!
Extremely long wait and we were the only ones in the waiting room. I did book an appointment online but still waited. While we waited for the doctor we heard the nurse talking negatively about her job and previous patients. I would not recommend using this urgent care.
Today I was extremely disappointed in the care my family and I received from AFC Urgent Care. It was completely packed and they were super busy, which is understandable. We waited patiently, as we always do. My 2 girls and I had to use the restroom, but come to find out there was no toilet paper. I went to the front desk where there were 4 ladies up front, one was on the phone AND assisting patients at check out. The other 3 were standing and talking to each other. As I continued to wait patiently, all 3 of the ladies went to a Doorway to continue to finish their conversation, instead of having at least one of them assist me. So, I continued to wait. When I realized I wasnt going to get any help, I had to leave the facility to take my girls to Walmart to use the restroom. Before leaving, I was completely frustrated and had to inform my husband, whom was waiting with our son, that I had to take the girls elsewhereto use the restroom. A patient heard me and, with surprise, informed me she had already told staff there was no toilet paper in the restroom. Such a shame! Once we were called back, we all were tested for the flu. Dr. Mansoor came in and stated, You ALL tested positive for the flu. Im immunocompromised, so you all need to put your masks on! How completely rude! Not only that, but we already had our masks on, except my 2 year old son! We are the patients, and for you to come in and make it seem like we chose your career choice and we need to only protect you is completely selfish! We came in to get help in feeling better. Not for a doctor to come in and make it seem like her health was more important than ours. Thats disgusting! Youre a doctor, so act like one! Not only did she say that, but asked if I had questions and when I did, she interrupted me and walked out when I still had a question. I had concerns about my daughters eye, and not once did she take a look at it. She brushed it off and said it was because she has the flu. Once we were rushed out, after patiently waiting for our turn, we had to find a pharmacy for the medication we needed. Once we got lucky with one, we were informed by the pharmacy that Dr. Mansoor mixed the dosage up with our 2 year old and 5 year old and they could not fill their meds. My 2 little ones have it the worst with their symptoms and I feel extremely frustrated and sad that I cant help them out. All because we were rushed and AFC did not take their time with my family and I. I have been here before, multiple times, and yet, Ive never been so angry and disappointed, until today!
Great place to get treatment! They had us in and out quickly, the staff and PA that treated me were very kind and helpful. We are AD Military and just visiting family for a couple days and I can honestly say this is one of the best Urgent Care clinics we have ever gone to during all of our travels and assignments. Keep up the great work!
Dr.Mansoor was an absolute pleasure to work with! Knowledgeable, caring, and thorough. I highly recommend this practice and especially this doctor!
Rupshikha (clinic manager), Mansoor (P.A.), and Jessica were very professional. They definitely did their due diligence and double-checked for any possible contraindicated medications. In and out within 30 minutes.
This is the first time Ive ever used an Urgent Care facility and not my MD. The staff was friendly and efficient. The Dr. was attentive and listened carefully to what my problem was. She described my condition thoroughly and explained what needed to be done. Even though she was not my regular medical doctor, I felt like she cared about what I was going through and very helpful in answering my questions. Overall the experience was very positive.I will absolutely use this facility again if needed.
I was in pain when I went in to AFC. I had never been there before but felt like I was treated like they knew me. Everyone was very helpful and nice. I was the fourth person in the waiting room but was not there more than five minutes. I had my vitals taken and placed in a room where I waited a couple minutes . Dr Mansoor came in quickly. She was very nice and reassuring. She examined me for my pain and had me on my way fast. An exceptional experience on my part and I left assured I would feel better soon. I would not hesitate to go there again. Jim
Very impressive! From the man that checked me in to the nice lady that took my vitals and to the x-ray tech everyone was wonderful! Dr. Nichole Thornton was so professional and caring! I could not have had a better doctor or received better care. Ali was a great nurse too! I would go back to AFC in a second and recommend them to anyone who asked.
They quickly helped to take care of my injured hand.
I’ve had two horrible experiences here. The staff is rude and refused to give me a copy of my medical records so that I could seek treatment elsewhere. My job sent me here on the second visit due to being injured at work.On both visits the practitioner has instructed me to purchase items without giving me a prescription for them. I’d endured a fracture with an elevated b/p and MK, APRN instructed me to take Tylenol or Ibuprofen no dosing schedule or anythingThese are some of the most unprofessional medical staff I’ve ever endured. FYI: everyone has an opportunity to obtain copies of their medical records regardless of who is paying for the care.I believe they are ignorant to the facts; however this was confirmed by the payee.
Elizabeth Bui was amazing! We were visiting from out of town and I had to bring my 15 month old here. Elizabeth was so friendly and personable and really helped us out while we were away from home. Thank you again would highly recommend.
I went to AFC for the first time today since my PCP couldnt get me in before tomorrow. I expected a wait time due to it being mostly walk-in, and waited about an hour. They were busy but staff was very nice and professional. The check-in process was easy and mostly done by accessing a texted link. I was seen by Amanda Casey, PA. She was wonderful! She listened to my concerns and addressed them, and answered all my questions. I would definitely go back!
Today I visited for a knee xray after a recent fall and we were taken back extremely quick. My nurse was Ebany and they repeatedly called me this gorgeous patient, and was just one of the sweetest nurses amongst the amazing staff. Dr. Mansoor ordered an xray and was shocked at the results but none the less was happy to make sure I was going to be okay over the weekend, before my actual doctors appointment the following week.Overall this place is clean, inviting and understanding. Ive visited in the past and they have never disappointed me or my mom.
I came in today for a work comp issue. Laney was incredibly helpful when I called, letting me know exactly what paperwork I needed to bring with me for the billing and authorization for treatment. I had to receive a mandatory drug screen and an x-ray and I was still in and out in less than an hour, this was huge for me as I had to take time out from work to make this visit. All the staff were highly professional and knowledgeable making what had been an unpleasant experience with my injury more bearable. I cant say enough about how nice and pleasant this staff was!
I really love the female doctors here they know how to talk to people to make them feel more comfortable and less scared. The staff is really nice and patient. Only one doctor here that I’m not a fan of but he does do good work still just has to get better at making women feel comfortable.
I went in for extreme sacral, coccyx and back pain. I worked with Dr. Mansoor and Nurse Roop (Rupshikma) as well as a PA student. The receptionist was able to get me in quickly. And the doctor and nurse were very polite, compassionate and able to come up with a plan for me.The facilities and place was also clean and smelled fresh as if they clean constantly.I am very pleased with this place and would come here again, although I hope I dont have to because that would mean I am sick lol.Than you AFC!
I’ve been going to AFC Urgent Care on N Rock since moving back to Wichita nearly 4 years ago. Today’s experience was typically good - short wait, attentive and friendly staff, minimal paperwork, and yet another positive experience with Dr. Sara. She actually listens and we had a dialogue - NOT a rushed monologue. Great job and a big thanks to everyone at AFC!
I highly recommend coming here for your non emergency, urgent care needs. The staff is incredible. They are friendly, prompt, and skilled. If I ever need non emergency care in the future, I will definitely choose AFC Urgent Care first.
The staff were friendly and always had a smile. The doctor was very interested in my condition and came up with a treatment plan quickly. The nurse was nice but there was a needle involved (part of the treatment). I will definitely come back to this clinic if i need help again.Dave Sellens.
I gave AFC Urgent Care 5 stars because they deserve it. They care about their patients. They get you in and out. It was some fast service, let me tell you! I trust them with handling my care. I love the staff. Everyone was great, respectful, and knowledgeable. 5 stars for all of them!
Going to the urgent care is never fun, but if I had to go back to one AFC Urgent Care made it borderline fun. Thank you to the great staff that helped and made sure I was cared for. Kim was so professional and knowledgeable.
It was my first time at AFC Urgent Care. I highly recommend them. Very efficient, friendly, and welcoming staff. The doctor that treated me, Nichole Thornton was incredibly competent, professional, caring, and gave the best advice on what I needed to do in my situation. Best care Ive gotten from any medical center in my life.
I had a wonderful experience with the PA at this urgent care. I was visiting from out of town on a weekend, and I hurt my back so badly that I couldnt walk. He personally arranged for me to come in on a Sunday, so that I could get the care that I needed. He provided the treatment that helped me get on a plane the next day. I highly recommend them!
Absolutely terrible experience. Was on hold for over 90 minutes for a scheduled appointment time. Then virtual visit lasted less than 2 min. Receive a bill, and it didnt have usual copay that i have experienced with other Urgent Care facilities. Called billing department and they were not helpful at all and received the whole I am the supervisor line that was pure BS when i asked to speak to someone above them, and they said the Managers only take Business Calls. Stay far away from them as customer service is non existent.
This is a great Doctors office. When I walked in I was greeted with a smile, which is exactly what I needed since I wasnt feeling very well. They took my information very efficiently and even offered me a complementary bottle of water. While I was waiting (which wasnt long at all), I was able to sit comfortably and watch the news on their TV.When it was my turn to be seen, they took me in, the doctor listened to everything that had been going on, and gave me a couple of prescriptions which did the trick. This was a great experience, and I would defiantly go back. I really liked every one in the clinic and wish that could be my Primary Care Doctors Office!
My wife and I have had both good and bad experiences here. My wife has said the people up front were rude to her on multiple occasions. We just went there a couple days ago because my 3 year old daughter woke up with a swollen eyelid. We were seen quickly and the nurse taking vitals was nice, but when we got into a room, and the doctor came in, this is when it got bad. She walked into the room, took one look at my daughter, and her eyes got really big, she gasped, and said in shock, oh my what happened to your eye!? Naturally, my daughter was terrified, having such great attention brought to her eye. She started panicking and my wife and I were in shock because of the doctors actions. We were able to calm her down so the doctor could proceed. But we just couldnt believe how immature and unprofessional she was. At previous visits there was another woman doctor who was pregnant and she was so sweet to my daughter, and made her feel very comfortable. Maybe shes on maternity leave, I dont know, but I hope she will be back. Until then, we will not be going to this location. Their page mentions pediatric care, but with that horrible woman there, that is definitely not the case.
Love this place. The people are so kind! I will drive out of my way just to go to this specific clinic. Their wait time is usually pretty fast too. I feel listened to & they explain everything very well and makes it a easy place to be vulnerable and not afraid to ask questions. 10/10
My husband and I showed up at this minor emergency to get stitches for my two-year-old. After being placed on hold for more than five minutes, I was told at 7:28 that they were closed. When I informed her that we were in the parking lot and the sign says open, the receptionist stated “I have to say that“ and then went on to explain that front desk staff are told to lie to patients if they try to check in past 7:30 because their providers don’t want to stay late (they close at 8). We then drove to another minor emergency more than 15 minutes away *with the same closing time* that was willing to see us, even though it meant their provider had to stay a few minutes late. Clearly, patient care is lacking at this facility.
The quality of professionalism and care the doctors and staff give to their patients is terrific. Always pleased with their services (also inexpensive and less time consuming). I appreciate the staff and can say with confidence that I trust this clinic. 5/5 stars without a doubt. Keep up the good work!
My wife has severe migraines and each time we come here the staff is great. We get in and it quickly and the staff is extremely sensitive to making sure the lights are off and the room we are in is kept quiet. They do a great job and truly care about their patients.
They charged me for services I did not receive. They said it was a copay. And have yet to credit me back as they said they would, and it’s been over a week. They charged my card and then told me they had no x-ray technician after the fact. So they wouldn’t be able to see my daughter and they wouldn’t be able to refund me either because it would have to go through “billing”. They didn’t even so much as take vitals, absolutely no services were provided but they were quick to charge my card. Incompetent, unprofessional, they keep giving me the runaround when I call. So basically, I was charged for walking into the lobby. Do not recommend going here unless you want to be robbed in a time where you need urgent medical care.
I appreciate the the attention and speed of taking care of me. Great staff and friendly. So far this has been the best experience I have had in an emergency situation. Thank your for everything
Dr Mansoor was fantastic! We have gone to her twice, both times on holiday weekends. We took our grand-daughter once and she treated me the second time. She is excellent and really listened. I wouldnt go anywhere else for urgent care. Thank you Dr. Mansoor.
I took my 3 year old daughter here for what looked like pink eye, she had gooey eyes, one was shut from the goo and they did not even touch her.. they checked her temperature and that was it. The doctor walked in when my daughter was sitting on the bed, doctor stood at the door and immediately said it was covid.. no test, did not check her ears, throat, or her lungs. She did absolutely nothing.. I am so irritated with this place as they did not seem to care at all. I will not be back and I definitely will not be bringing any family here and will not recommend anyone to this location.
Today I went in to have two very painful ingrown toenails removed. Was insinuated and insulted by staff that I may be a drug seeker and was faking being in pain them sticking needles In my toes! Then I was told by the woman whom I was numbing me that it still was not numb it did not numb it and she hacked at it anyways. They had no regard for my pain and I have no pain tolerance. I waited 4 yrs to go in they said why did you wait so long I said because I know you would treat me like this . And not help me now Im in so much pain was barely numbed to begin with!!! They do not care about their patients at all do not go here . I wouldnt wish it on my worst enemy I felt everything. 2 big toenails removed . Yay for these aantibiotics they will just knock this pain out hahaha what a joke . I hate this place so much thanks for the worst first time immpretion ever.
I was greeted as soon as I walked in. Staff was very friendly and kind. Tina was nurse she was absolutely fantastic and a pleasure to speak with she is very good at what she does. Elizabeth, PA was fantastic as well listened on what my problems were and was able to get me taken care of very fast!
The staff at the front desk were okay. They did not process my insurance information correctly (even though I provided valid insurance ids). I ended up getting a bill in the mail which I now have to take to my ins company to handle. They also charged me a copay which I am not required to pay but had to pay in order for my daughter to be seen. My ins company had to call and get that corrected. Bottom line, they dont know how to handle ins information! Ive been with the same ins for ten years and knew these ladies wouldnt get it right. The doctors there were okay as well. Next time, Ill head to Wesley and wait the additional 30 mins!** UPDATE** Received a call in regards to my review. The lady was very friendly and assured me she would talk with her staff about handling ins issues. It is nice to know that someone from this facility actually reads the reviews and takes action addressing them.
From the receptionist to the doctors, very friendly and helpful. I had to go to urgent care since I was visiting from out of town, Dr Mansoor, was amazing and was great and she knew exactly was wrong with my ankle.
I have been here for minor emergency issues with no issue but today was a different story. I needed an EKG for a minor procedure I am scheduled for. My regular offices tech has been out sick with no signs of returning. I did a search online for facilities that provided these tests and they were the first to pop up. Originally I was very pleased as I had positive issues in the past. The online appointment scheduler did not work so I called to schedule an appointment. I was told they do not schedule appointments it is walk in only. There was confusion as if they did EKGs and after telling her that they advertised as being an EKG Clinic I was put on hold. She came back and told me she was wrong and they could accommodate me. I arrived with the order my Dr had provided me with; I was asked for a co-pay. I advised her that I was having a test therefore there was no co-pay; to be told I needed to see their Dr before they would do the test; that they would not honor anothers Doctors legal prescription. The Dr came out to defend her stance and was unable to answer any of my questions. I will be reporting this to various state and federal agencies that protect the consumer from this type of extortion and false advertising, as well as the medical board for the state of KS. Shame on them!
I would definitely recommend. The staff was extremely friendly. And although the senior clinician said she didnt feel they had the scanning equipment necessary to diagnose my problem, and that I needed to go to an ER, I respected her honesty. They could have easily performed some expensive and time-consuming tests but were more concerned that I get the help I needed as quickly as possible.
I was honored to be a student on rotation for PA school with this location, smack dab in the middle of flu season. From an insiders point of view, the staff here are diligent and all the providers are great. Everyone there does their best to ensure patients are seen quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend you go there for all your needs! And my grade has already been submitted, so you know Im being honest with my review. :)
Ebany was an amazing nurse she is really good at drawing blood and really good at giving them steroid shots and she was very nice and she knew what she was doing and seems she has had a ton of practice. The Dr. Mansoor was amazing as well she was super nice and helped me a ton and I’m grateful for that. But this place I would highly recommend for getting a check up since they have amazing people here!
Sitting here at 2pm. My APPOINTMENT was for 1:20 (not a walk in). I have had my appt time pushed out multiple times, now they estimate my “appointment time” to be 2:15. Of course they have already taken my copay money, so I am stuck here. When I arrived, there were only a handful of other people in the waiting who also had “appointments” who are just now being seen 2 hours after their appointments. I do not understand this ridiculous system!
I live nearby and had several times passing by Rock road saw their building sign. I needed a lump removed so by chance walked in inquiring if they could help me. In less than 30 minutes I was out the door with everything done on a Sunday evening! Have been to many place but this was the Best Dr. visit ever. The Dr. was very nice and down to earth. Front desk staff and nurses were very friendly. I’m fortunate to go there and not anywhere else as would have been 10 times more expensive to go to ER. 100% empathy and regard for my well being. I would highly recommended them.
My daughter and I went in a few times over the course of a couple weeks. We’re fairly quick in seeing us, but I won’t go back because of treatment and negligence of doctors.I went in for a uti and was prescribed Cipro (quick google search says it’s not recommended by FDA as a first treatment option because of side effects. I called to ask the doctor about it and he said, “I don’t know where you got your information, but...” so, I started taking it, and after the second dose started getting chest pain. Called the urgent care doctor. He told me it was in my head and to keep taking it. After my third dose, I had a tightness in my chest and called the nurse advice line. She said to go back in the morning. I called the urgent care when they opened the following day, and he told me to go straight to the ER. ER doctor said he would NEVER prescribe Cipro first, and promptly changed the prescription. My daughter’s experience wasn’t much better. I took her in for what I believed to be strep. Doctor did a rapid test. Said it was negative but could be wrong, so we opted to wait to see if it’d get better on its own. A couple days later she was worse, so we went back and the doctor said it looked like strep and was going to treat it as strep. Sent prescriptions to the pharmacy- the antibiotics was only a partial prescription because the pharmacy didn’t have enough in stock. I called to ask for the rest of her prescription and they sent the wrong one for her. By the time I got there to pick it up, they were already closed, even though it said online that they should have still been open.Very disappointed in the quality of care.
First of all I would like to start by saying that this is the ONLY place that I take my kids or myself to when we are sick! They are fast and thorough! And have my insurance information on file! That is why I am so upset! I took my 6 year old tonight and although the lady at the desk had printed off a copy of my sons insurance (same insurance since that he has had since birth,in hand) and Still said he couldn’t be seen! I am livid! I’m sorry I couldn’t help that my card information wouldn’t go into the online checkin registration but it is also the same insurance that she got from her computer and printed off! Tell me how this makes any sense? Not sure if I will ever be back!
I went in on a Saturday around 2 pm so I was expecting it to be a little busy but I didnt mind waiting since I knew I wouldnt be able to see my primary physician until later that week. To my surprise it was empty and I was seen within 5 minutes of walking in. Being a first-time patient, I also had to fill in some paperwork but it didnt take much time at all. Dr. Bui treated me and was straight to the point. She is very passionate about what she does and you can tell that she really wants to help you. Immediately after telling her all my symptoms she knew exactly how to help me. I hesitated writing a review right away because I wanted to see if I was actually cured but she did extremely well and I feel great. If AFC Urgent Care accepts your insurer (which they should, they accept most major insurances) then I highly recommend being treated here rather than your family doctor for almost anything. The wait is much quicker and overall way more convenient.
Hi Thank you for all your atentions I give you 10 have a wonderful day Good attitude & prompt service Thank you
Dr. Mansoor is great and very knowledgeable. They discussed treatment options with me and allowed me to decided my plan. I really appreciated it versus just reviving prescriptions and being sent on my way. Also, when I had questions they were fast to respond and went the extra mike. Definitely my favorite immediate care in Wichita.
I was erroneously charged a $50 copay and they submitted the claim to my insurance under a different parent company name, causing my insurance to deny the claim and attempt to collect funds from me. After hours on the phone with my insurance company, I was forced to call the Wichita office and attempt to get help in getting the claim resubmitted under the right company name. Catrinka at the front desk was incredibly rude, would interrupt me, condescending and not clear in her resolution. At no fault of mine, they caused an incredibly stressful situation which required several hours of my time, and we’re not apologetic in the least. I absolutely do not recommend going here if you have United Health Care. There are other urgent care options available in town.
Friday was the first time I have been to AFC in a couple of years. I woke up with a horrible rash from a new medication, and couldn’t get into see my primary dr for at least a few days. So I decided to go over to AFC, and I was so glad I did. Everyone was so nice, and helpful from start to finish. The PA Amanda was fantastic with excellent bedside manner.
Thank you guys so much for your efficiency and care, you made the visit so much more comfortable and got me squared away! I love seeing the women power in that office, keep it up! 🤎
After a rough week, I went to AFC in Wichita first thing on Saturday, Jan. 15. I arrived at 8:30 a.m. for 9 a.m. opening. During the night, I awakened freezing, despite three layers of covers. Registered a 102-degree temperature, high heart rate and trouble breathing. Decided something was wrong. By the time I was registered, the lobby was packed. This was my third trip. Front desk staff was incredibly patient and kind with everyone despite being short-staffed and treating a patient load that I am told has increased by 40% over the last month as hospital ERs are turning people away. I was called back about 9:20. After vitals, was seen. Ruled out COVID and flu. After chest X-ray, diagnosed as double pneumonia. Got a breathing treatment hot, a shot of antibiotics and a couple of prescriptions. I cannot applaud the personal service and care offered. Just wish they could be my primary care physicians. Thanks to everyone who helped treat me.
I love this place fast friendly service Kimberly M. And Elizabeth B. Are the best very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend AFC. Weve seen them several times. Im highly satisfied. They both deserve a raise!
Registration procedures timely and redundant. Form asks for husbands name about 4 times. Im here to remove stitches they put in 6 days ago, but I have to fill out all forms as if Im new patient. If you are sick, bleeding have a sick child its simply too time consuming and difficult to complete forms on phone. I preferred coming here in the past but probably wont come here in the future due to these new registration procedure. When I was here after my fall last week my head was stitched but I wasnt really examined. I had to go to my primary doctor the next day for XRay and to be evaluated for concussion which I did have.
I have been to this clinic once in person & have done two virtual visits. This place makes it so easy & convenient to get seen when you are in a pinch. The office is very clean & everyone I’ve ever encountered has been friendly. Dr Mansoor is wonderful, I have seen him all three times.
Great staff and service! The only issue I have is that the online check-in doesnt work. I took my two children in today and filled out the online form before we got there. When we arrived, I mentioned we checked in online and the receptionist said that process didnt work. We had to fill out paperwork (single sheet per patient, no big deal). We were just hoping to get all info in ahead of time and not have to spend too much time waiting. Pretty busy today (on a mid-morning Sunday), about 8-10 patients deep.
Don´t go here. Don´t take your kids here. The worst experience ever, Md Samrah Monsoor who is the owner refused to send the prescription for my kids. The next day when she finally did she sent the wrong medication which my kids took. They kept getting worse and I had to make an emergency call to our pediatrician. We had to put our children on lots of pain meds and to go to another immediate care at night. All staff seemed to be handpicked, the worst I ve ever seen. Really sick. Md Samrah Monsoor was Rude, No manners, Flirtatious (I am not interested, I am happily married and even if I werent I wouldn´t be interested). My kid left a toy at the clinic which happens often and is always recovered. They laughed at me when I called asking about it and hang up.
I first went to the Urgency center for an Emergency. I liked Dr. Mansoor so much and I mentioned that I needed a primary care physician established in Wichita. So I came back a few weeks later for a yearly physical and was once again very pleased with my experience. They all take great care of their patients and have the highest quality of care.
Excellent experience! I was visiting my company in Wichita and during the trip; one of my fingers got swollen and infected. My co-worker recommended AFC Urgent care and told me he uses them regularly for his family. The wait was less than 5 minutes including registration. Dr. Mansoor saw me immediately and did a procedure on me that provided relief in matter of couple of hours. She asked me to come back for a quick check the next day and she assured me that I was getting better. She re-did by bandage quickly. No charge for this added support. On my way to airport; I again dropped by and Thanh and Elizabeth Bui looked at my wound; put another bandage; gave me a few extras for my plane ride and I was all set. A real caring environment! I have been to a few Urgent Care and I would rate this the best, by far.Great job!
