Variety Care at Northcare

Unfortunately I have tried to utilize Variety Health Care for my healthcare and I have had 6 doctors LEAVE before I saw them more than once!! They have a “call center” for all calls and they couldn’t CARE LESS. They are snarky and reading from a prompter. No Humanity AT ALL. My appointment was cancelled today after waiting over a month to see my PCP because the provider is LEAVING!! They confirmed the appointment yesterday and then cancelled without an alternative today!!?!? Wtf this place is run like a oiss poor Walmart!!!. Zero empathy and no intelligent life to be found. Called to three locations to get a supervisor, got a voicemail and another person said they will call you when they are AVAILABLE I asked if it would be today?……they said they couldn’t say. WOW just WOW!!!! What passes for healthcare these days is pitiful!!!!!! At Variety care it’s the epitome of iDGAF so don’t bother! Sad. Truly completely incompetent.

While i vary much liked the staff inside the clinic, they did leave alot to be desired in a primary care. They didnt really listen to me when i said i was fallowing the diet and nothing was changing. She put me on insulin but then didnt tell me how to use it and didnt order the needles for the pens. They made this big deal about having access to my cgm but then never once checking in with me about it.My biggest complaint was that they over and over again would change my appointment date and time without ever calling me. No call saying hey she cant see you at that time can you come this day or this time?.Nope it would just be changed. And most of the time they would act like it wasnt changed, that i was just wrong about my time/dates. But more offten then not it would be changed. And changed to a date and time i couldnt be there. Or changed to a week later when it was a sick appointment. My last straw was last week, i had made an appointment through the app and when i went to check that morning they pushed it forward a whole week. I called and the first person i talked too admitted they changed it but then the sencond person claimed there was never an appointment that day, that it was always for the week after. When i said no i gave my reminder text and it writen in my calendar both stating that day. Nope just repeated over and over that it says in their system that i never had an appointment that day. Mind you this was the 3rd appointment in a row that they rescheduled without calling me. I give up. I will never trust these people with my care ever again. I give 2 stars only cause the office nurse practitioner and her staff are pretty good. But the whole veriety care system totally sucks and i wont ever be using them again.As a company you all should be doing better.

North Care has always taken good care of me ! All I have is good things to say about the people there!

Jackie Watson nurse practioner is very nice and really really smart! She explained my illness in a way that now I understand it better and she gave me great options to help treat my illness. I wish I could take her everywhere with me lol

They really try to get to know you. Everyone is curious and kindvery nice establishment.

This place is horrid. I tried getting meds called in for sick mother and they refused. Said I needed an appointment. So attempted to make an appointment just to be told the earliest she could be seen was 3 weeks out. WTF? She is elderly and disabled. She needs meds that keep her alive. I would never recommend this place. They have peoples lives in their hands and would rather allow them to suffer unnecessarily than to perform their job. I have and will continue to weekly report this place to state.

BAD Doctor! Dont go to this facility!! The first time I saw Dr. Saleem at Variety Care, she spent approximately 15 minutes with me. I was trying to ask her a question and her reply was ok, one more question, then I have to go. SERIOUSLY???? No doctor EVER should say that to a patient! There are other things also, but this doctor has BAD bedside manners!

Dr.Saleen gave me the worst experience I took my daughter there so that she could get her shots and physical she had a cough they did not give her shots said it was to early I understood that part but my daughter has had an ongoing cough and they didnt run test to see why she had a cough she was like oh its prolly just allergies but her cough dont sound like allergies then she made false statements to a specialist and said she found something wrong with my daughter vaginal area so I took her to ou childrens hospital and was interviewed by caseworkers and they stated that there was nothing wrong with my daughter she also said my daughter had high blood pressure and she was going to put her on meds my daughter the only reason my child blood pressure was high that day she was scared she was going to get shots but instead of her running test she blamed it on my daughter heart murmur but I took her to ou childrens hospital blood pressure fine and they state that the blood pressure had nothing to do with my child heart murmur we will not be coming back to variety care worst experience ever and I actually like this clinic before all this happened

A group of very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful people. I have noticed when I mention this location that a lot of people dont know about this location being in Northcare. I do recommend to them to go there and try it out.
